7TH DAY

BY:  SCOTT PARIS

Jonathan, and brethren, this subject of the seventh day has been interesting, and I have sure have been interested in all the submitted writings on it. And Frank, Jonathan and all were good. I felt compelled to submit this for your observation, as I have gleaned it out of scripture and experience… and revelation. And there is more to it than I have written here.

Day in scripture speaks of light. Night speaks of darkness (spiritual). Because God is Spirit we must come to terms of scripture being seen and interpreted in spirit and truth. Jesus spoke of natural things but did not mean them to be taken in a natural understanding, He meant them to be interpreted spiritually.

Many are looking for one spectacular event to happen. An event that can be seen with their natural eyes. But Jesus said that the kingdom comes not with observation. It comes with light and glory.

“Giving thanks unto the Father, which has made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.

Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of the son of his love.” Col. 1:12, 13

What does light do? It brightens dark places. What is the light? The light in Genesis 1:3, “And God said, Let there be light, and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the LIGHT DAY, and the DARKNESS he called NIGHT. And the evening and the morning were the first day.”

This was not the sun, moon or stars. This was not a creation of the sun that gives light that gives us our day time here on earth.

This was a different kind of light that God created. For God did not create the sun until the fourth day or until the 14th verse of Genesis 1.

God was talking of a spiritual day. God called the light ‘DAY,’(enlightenment)!

“Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, s the light of seven days, in the DAY (enlightenment) that the Lord binds up the breach of his people, and heals the stroke of their wound.” Isaiah 30:26

When Jesus said, “As the lightning shines from the east to the west so shall the coming (presence) of the Son of man be.”

He was speaking spiritually of His Day, His shining, His appearing in us. Then in John 14, “I will not leave you comfortless, I will come unto you.” He has come to us invisibly, He is the DAY. 1st to Last. Then comes the DAY of Father. Stay with me.

When He appears in our lives, He appears within our hearts in spirit form. Matt. 24:36 “But of that DAY and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.”

The Jews hearing Him had to have natural days for feasts (as Christians today) for their feast days, feast of trumpets, feast of Passover, tabernacles, atonement. They wanted the very hour for everything. The hour when the Sabbath would begin. They lived and thought of natural days. Even while Jesus was talking those Jews, who observed days asked, “Now Lord when should we observe this day? What day of the calendar would this day be? Jesus answered, “But of that day and hour (His appearing) knoweth no man.”

The 7th Day is spirit, not a day you can put on a calendar. “No, not the angels of heaven” for the 7th day speaks of the Redemption of the Father God and Him appearing in our lives, and the angels know nothing of redemption. Or what it means to be redeemed. Nor do they know what it is to have a relationship with Father as we do.

Then Jesus said, “But my Father only.” This is to be understood as the highest realm there is in God. The Jews understood a father son relationship. Jesus was born in flesh, and was a flesh man, and when the Holy Spirit came on Him at the baptism of John, He became the manifestation of God living in flesh. That is why He was Christ Jesus-the word Christ being interpreted anointed or Holy Spirit because it was Christ that was in Jesus.

Paul never did say, “Jesus in you.” But did say, “Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Col.1:27

But look, he said, “My Father Only.” He said, no man knows the day or the hour, nor the angels. Only the Father Who is the highest. When you come to that point, you will know that DAY, THE LIGHT, THE FATHER. You will know that hour. It is a relationship with Father that no man knows.

Paul came into a 3rd Day consciousness, “Which was not lawful (possible) for a man to utter.” We are now at the 7th Day (Father). Are you looking at it as a calendar event? This Day Jesus spoke of is not a calendar event. It is a Spirit Day it is the FATHER. “God is All in all.”

I know many brethren who are teaching 3rd day revelation. Every day in Genesis 1, was in God’s vocabulary, “Good” until the 7th, then He said, “It is VERY GOOD.” Then He rested. Now He is our Rest. Our Sabbath Day. The 7th Day. Amen!
