CHRIST IS THE GLORY

“Christ is God’s one and only Son.” (1 John 4:9)
The title, “Christ Child” is not found in the Bible, and here is why: Christ became Jesus when he was baptized and the dove perched on his shoulder. (Matthew 3:16, 17) “As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” Jesus was God’s son from the beginning but not empowered by Christ (anointing) until the moment of his baptism.
Jesus Christ spoke of himself as “The Son of Man”. By divine intervention, Peter recognized the “Son of God”.
(Matthew 16:13-17) “When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?”
They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
“But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”
“Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven.”
(Colossians 1:27) The mystery of Christ is “Christ in you, the hope of Glory” and the glory is that each one in Christ, as He is in us, is a member of the One and Only Son of God. We are his body; Jesus is the Head – the LORD. God has ONLY ONE SON and HE IS CHRIST. Christ is the family of God.
(Luke 1:26-38) The Living Word that was pronounced to Mary by an angel conceived Jesus. She received her pregnancy when she acquiesced to that Word. (Let it be done as you have said.) It is the same for us. We are born again of the Spirit when we receive, by the Living Word, Jesus the Christ as Lord and Savior. We are to be just like Jesus the Christ – for Christ in us shall make it so!!
I see the Godhead (Trinity) as God the Father, Christ the Son and Holy Spirit the Present One who penetrates our flesh and opens us for teaching. When we are fully submitted, Christ becomes us! just like Jesus. The Holy Spirit is the Best Man to the Bridegroom. The Holy Spirit makes all of the preparations for the wedding of the Lamb.
“Jesus is the Firstborn among many brothers”. (Romans 8:29)
“Jesus Christ is the firstborn from the dead”. (Revelation 1:5)
These things have been hidden from our understanding for 2000 years but now the Holy Spirit has opened understanding – opened to those who have ears to hear.
The Christ didn’t experience death on the cross. The Christ is God. It was the flesh of the Messiah who died. It was the body of Jesus Christ that experienced the death of the flesh for all mankind. He defeated the flesh in His flesh, parted the veil in His death and sealed us in His resurrection. Praise God! His poured-out blood vicariously ended the life support for the carnal flesh nature and the water that flowed from His side presented the Spirit for the New Life in Christ!
Jesus Christ has done the work. It is ascribed to us to walk fully in it.
