GLORY, GLORY IN THE HIGHEST

ADAPTED BY: ADOLPH E. KNOCH

Glory, glory in the highest

Be to Him Who bore the cross!

He Who once to God was nighest,

For us stooped to shame and loss.

Spread His glory! Spread His glory!

Who has died for sinners thus!

His is love! ’tis love unbounded.

Without measure, without end.

Human thought is here confounded.

‘Tis too vast to comprehend.

Praise the Savior! Praise the Savior!

Magnify the sinner’s Friend!

While we hear the wondrous story

Of the Savior’s cross and shame,

Let us celebrate His glory,

Spread abroad the Savior’s fame.

Hallelu, Lord! Hallelu, Lord!

Give ye glory to His name!
