Dictionary definition: GLORY – The recognition belonging to a person, honor, renowned, esteem, ultimate identity of excellence.

EPHESIANS 1:17-19, “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the sprit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: the eyes of your understanding being enlightened that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power….”

The highest level of glory a Father can receive is to see the fullness of his own identity manifested in his sons. Sonship in scripture does not refer to gender of male or female, but is a masculine word of referring to the spirit of man according to the Hebrew language. The soul of man is a feminine word used scripturally as woman, again not referring to the female gender. As you read the above scriptures again consider the text referring to what our heavenly Father longs to see manifested in His children that they will know they are the Sons of God reflecting the glory of their Father on this earth, for the earth belongs to God and the fullness thereof.

Give your kids a hug today and let them know your life has value and purpose because of the glory of God that is manifested through them.

Be blessed with the fullness of God’s grace, mercy, and love this Thanksgiving Season!
