LIGHTHOUSE (HAIKU)

Shining beacon bright

Lighthouse built on solid rock

Warning for life’s shoals

Haiku is a Japanese poetry form, which uses three lines of 5-7-5 syllable count.  Each line has a complete thought and all thoughts are connected with the 3rd line making a statement or revelation, which is contained in the essence of the first 2 lines.
