This is the Revelation of the Mystery of the Body of Christ

This is the Revelation of the Appearing of Christ in His flesh

“In a desert land he found him, in a barren and howling waste.  He shielded him and cared for him; he guarded him as the apple of his eye.”  (Deuteronomy 32:10)

Everywhere I go I hear people talking of the need for a change.  People are weary of the “way things are.”

Nothing is fair to anyone!  Not only in America, but the whole world is moaning in their dissatisfaction and need.   Can we not see the futility of the strife?  Do we not recognize the fact that things will never be equal for all in this world?  The struggle for the human race to survive in its mortality has no end.

There is a better way.  The groaning masses of humanity need not remain as they are.  There is a way to live that will change the circumstances that surround us all. But if this is to happen, Christians must take seriously the fact that we are called to be ambassadors for Christ.  We must take it so seriously that we find the WAY to experience the LIFE that will present the TRUTH to the world.

In the Beginning One there is a plan, and it has been ordered since before the foundation of the universe.  Man is the center of this plan but he must find his designated position and take his place there.  However, it is impossible to step into place if you do not know the place to step.

Everyone belongs to God, although not everyone knows he does.   Many pass through this earthly sphere never knowing whence they came, or why.  Many lives are spent and bodies worn out struggling to survive in this land so far removed from the Father of Life.  Let us direct our attention to a higher level of understanding, and learn the purpose of humanity and how each one can take his role in developing its fulfillment.

Now we have arrived at the purpose of this book: to know and understand God’s plan for mankind and how to fit into it.

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realm with every spiritual blessing in Christ.  For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.  In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will – to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.  In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness for our offenses in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding.  And he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment – to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.”  (Ephesians 1:3-10)

“Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ.  He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.  We have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all surpassing power is from God and not from us.  And we with unveiled faces reflect the Lord’s glory and are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”  (2 Corinthians 1: 21, 22; 4:7; 3:18)

“We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.  For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may be revealed in our mortal body.  Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built with human hands.  While we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling, so what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.”  (2 Corinthians 4:10 & 11; 5:1 & 4)

“The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though its parts are many, they form one body.  So it is with Christ.  Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.  There is one body and one Spirit – just as you were called to one hope when you were called – one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all.”  (1 Corinthians 12:12; Ephesians 4:4-6)

“To each one grace has been given as Christ apportioned it… It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. …Speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the head, that is, Christ.  From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does the work.  In Christ the fullness of Deity lives in bodily form, and you have been given the fullness in Christ.”…  (Ephesians 4:7, 11-13; 15 and 16; Colossians 2:9, 10)

[Underscored words in the Scripture quoted above are my emphasis for the purpose of study.  BJS]

God was pleased to have all of the fullness of Himself dwell in Jesus so that through Christ all things would be reconciled to Him.  Because all things came out of Him, all things must return to Him.  Whether below or above, of the earth or spiritual authorities, attitudes or actions – all things will come, for peace has been made through the blood of Christ Jesus shed upon the cross.  Now we must bring to an end in our lives all that is still lacking in obedience to righteousness and remains to be completed on our part concerning the sin that afflicted Christ’s body on the cross.  The victory will be known in conforming to all that He has provided for the sake of His body, which is His church.  For since we have been raised with Christ we have died to the world, and the new creation is hidden with Christ in God.  So when Christ becomes each person’s life, He will appear – and we with Him – for we will be made glorious in Him!

Predestined: Created a little lower than God in Christ before the foundation of the universe, man is predestined to be born of His Spirit and prepared, as he shares in His sufferings, to share in His glory. (See Psalms 8:5 and Romans 9:22-24.)

Redemption: This is the beginning of the process of the complete salvation of humankind.  Mankind has been set free from his former way of life for the purpose of returning to the Father.  The way has been opened for all through the vicarious sacrifice of Jesus, and because of this redemption, the reclamation will establish the restoration of righteousness and peace.

1. Justification:  When one receives Jesus as Savior, because of God’s mercy he is justified by grace through imputation of righteousness and called holy.  Those who are so joined with Christ are one spirit with Him.

2. Sanctification:  As one is set aside for this special work he learns holiness.   He gains knowledge of truth as he is trained by the word, and his soul is taught submission to the recreated spirit born of God.  The sin of the world that wounded Jesus is finished in his flesh as the saint partakes of his portion of the cross of Jesus Christ.  He is freed from the habit of the dominion of the desires of the sin nature and kept for glory.

3. Purification: Purity develops when one is obedient to the revealed word. He must not partake of a word spoken by a false prophet, nor try to obtain righteousness by acts of faith.  Rather, it is the time for steadfast obedience to the command of Jesus to love, and this not by one’s own effort but through the Divine power that the Christ instills.  Only those who are purified may be glorified.

4. Glorification:  When Jesus is received as Savior the seed of the Word is planted in the human spirit, recreating Life there.  There it will grow, if properly nourished, until it reaches maturity.  It is then that this life is planted back into the bosom of the Father until it has strength to sustain in its new form.  Righteousness and peace manifested in the saints is Christ’s glory.  Just as Christ is received to grow within during the time of the incubation of the new creation, this new creation must fall back into Christ, learning obedience through submission, until the prize of the high calling is reached.  The peace of God is made perfect in love.  It is then that Christ will be seen as the new creature appears in His glory.  This is a fresh walk – not by the spirit, but of the Spirit

Forgiven: Christ came in the form of humankind to completely remove the cause of mankind’s offenses.  He sent away the carnal nature by means of death to the flesh and the poured out blood of Christ Jesus.  Thus, He removed the cause of mankind’s separation from God, which has resulted in sin.  By this vicarious sacrifice the human race was not only excused from the debt of sins but the impetus of unrighteousness was rendered impotent.  Individuals surrender the strength that carnality uses to that area.  The thing that is up to mankind to do is to receive the forgiveness, which Jesus has insured for all men, and put on the righteousness of Christ, thus removing carnality’s strength.

Fulfillment of time: When the Kingdom is established in earth as it is in heaven, time will be fulfilled.  Time is an aspect of the earthly realm not the realm of God.  Time is the measurement allotted for man to finish transgression, and it will be fulfilled in the obedience of the overcomers in Christ, as promised in Revelation 21:1-7.

Deposit: Christ Jesus paid the full price for the redemption of the souls of humanity.  The price paid was the vicarious death of man’s flesh nature through the death of Jesus.  This payment was deposited into the account of every individual but in order for one to receive the guaranty, he must first accept the deposit paid as his own.

Guaranty: The Holy Spirit is the deposit made into one’s life to recreate the child of God and is the guaranty of the Divine pledge of eternal inheritance.   This guaranty affixes the seal of ownership to the one in whom the deposit is made.  The Holy Spirit is the One who serves as the assurance of the better thing to come.

Unveiled faces: God has promised that upon Mount Zion he will destroy the veil that covers the minds of mankind.  Mount Zion is the figurative place where righteous men are made perfect.  (Scripture references: Isaiah 25:6, 7; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Hebrews 12:22, 23.)

Reflect: We are to reflect the Lord’s glory until He appears.  The moon reflects the light of the sun until the sun appears and out-shines the moon.  The sons of God are reflectors of light until the full Light of the Son arrives.  Then the Light of Son will shine with His glory in those transformed to His likeness – eternal man.

Transformed: Transformation is the result of the work of the Holy Spirit who moves the yielded soul from glory to glory.  The condition of man’s substance and form is changed through the sanctification, purification and glorification of the saint.  As we gain the single eye for Christ and view Him face to Face – we see Him as He is, and our countenance is transformed to that of the inner person – CHRIST!

Death of Jesus: The death of Jesus signifies the death of the carnal nature, which draws its life from the flesh and blood of the mortal body of man.  Because everything that is hung on a cross is cursed, [according to Hebrew law, Deuteronomy 22:23] Jesus was hung on the cross, and God in our stead cursed His flesh.  Jesus on the cross vicariously cursed to death the flesh nature of all mankind.  (Read 2 Corinthians 4:8-12)

Life of Jesus: When each person is aware of the death of his flesh nature, the Life of Jesus, who is Christ, has come to him.  Christ, the Only Begotten Son of the Father is the Life of Jesus.  Jesus Christ is the firstborn of many brothers.  (See 1 John 4:9 and Romans 8:29)

Earthly tent: This is in reference to a tabernacle, which we are in our earthly bodies.  The mortal body is the portable tent that houses the recreated spirit.

Heavenly dwelling: This is the eternal home of each individual, built as we live in the earthly tents.  The restoration of it is done by Holy Hands in the heavenly place that is at this time unseen.  It truly is the Father’s mansion [dwelling place] that has many rooms [the saints].

Body of Christ: We being many are one body in Christ, and this body is the abode of God.  He has chosen this form over the Ark of the Holiest Place of long ago.  As He speaks, we will speak.  As He steps, we will step.  We will do only what we see the Father doing.

Grace: God’s undeserved goodness toward man has granted him forgiveness through the sacrifice of the Lamb of God.  He has removed the guilty conscience of the saved, cursed the fallen nature unto death and supplied the Holy Spirit for new life.  In their redemption they are God’s righteousness in Christ.

“O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!  You have set your glory above the heavens.  From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise to silence the foe and the avenger.  When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?  You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor.  You made him ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet: all flocks and herds, and the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the seas.  O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth. (Psalms 8)

The purpose designed for mankind will never find its fulfillment until man responds to God.  The response must be complete and carried through in dedication.  It is not enough to make an effort toward obedience or a half-hearted attempt to know God.  It is yielding to the Mighty Spirit of God that will bring about the glory.  Disobedience and the subsequent fall from glory did not set aside what man was created to be.  Through the promise of Christ, and because God remains faithful, man’s destiny shall be fulfilled.

God does not fail in what he purposes to do.  Before the creation of the world God’s plan for mankind was ordered and completed in the heavenly realm.  The heavens declare the unfolding if humanity will but look up and see!  It is a far better thing than mortal man has seen that God calls him to.  What humanity became in the fall from God’s glory need no longer be of any significance because of God’s grace.  If humanity will but seek the face of the Father they will learn of their designated place and find the way there.

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.”  (Genesis 1:27)

In the long ago eon of the creation period of the race of man the innate desire of the carnal nature to rule, hidden within the soul, conquered his will, and man’s spirit expired.  The soul then cleaved to carnality, taking an illicit paramour to replace the husband who had fallen prey to Satan’s plot for his demise in her agreement with the one who would become her manipulator to a place of power.  The soul gained ascendancy through the exploits of the tempter and has been the matriarchal ruler of mankind from the realm of the fallen nature.  The soul is the seat of the mind, will and emotions, and without the stability of wisdom has been Satan’s instrument for all downward movement in the world.

All of the social ills that are so tragically stealing the peace of the world are merely a scenario of what exists in the unseen realm of the soul under the influence of the carnal nature.  Everything that exists in the natural realm has its beginning in the unseen – whether good or evil.

The unregenerate human species has been feminized in its wayward trek – completely possessed by the feminine [soulish] aspect of personalities.  Man has the male androgens to give him the masculinity of his physical body, and these hormones coursing through his blood provide the base desires of his gender along with physical strength and a need to rule.  But he is emasculated.  The unregenerate woman – the area of the soul of mankind – does the entire rule in a fallen world. We are not speaking of the sexuality of the human genders but the wisdom to reign over the world, which will come only through the recreated spirits of both men and women.  It is the male of the SPIRIT, not of the genders, who must reign.  Until the Spirit of Christ is again alive in mankind he will remain in bondage to the arrogant ruler of his life – the paramour of his soul – the carnal nature known as the devil or Satan.

It is not only the male of the species, but also the female who suffers the lack of God’s divine design. Woman (soul) was brought forth from man (spirit) to be the completion of the human  – although now separate – to be joined in surrendered reunion.  But the male influence must know his place in the plan and be established there before the soul can comply with the directed union.  The spirit must be recreated!  All of the rule and submission must take place in both genders before it will be fully acted out in the form of humankind.

The human soul has struggled in her lack of a protector and provider; it has grieved in the need of a lover and guide.  Because this woman of the unseen realm has not had her vital need met, women in the world experience unrest and confusion concerning their role.  Therefore, although not realizing the gravity of their condition, women have risen up and demanded the rights that have been established in society as belonging to the male.   We are seeing the results of the male deprived of his role of provider and protector and experiencing displacement of the genders as families are torn asunder.

Unregenerate man in his physical prowess has desired to comfort woman, to protect and provide for her, to shield her and love her.  But he cannot do this perfectly until the attributes of his spiritual self are complete.  Rather than following the high place of the spiritual plane under the Headship of Christ he is influenced by the sensual whims of his soulish area directed by the fallen nature.  In paying homage to these desires, he sometimes bolsters his ego by success within the limits of the world, but he cannot fulfill for man or for woman all that either would have him to be.  His role as the stronger of the two has dwindled as woman continues to step into the place of a self-sufficient and certainly equal member of society.  What is seen in the natural realm has already occurred in the spiritual.  Remember that man pictures the spirit and woman the soul.

The human race fell from the favor of God, not when Eve tasted the forbidden fruit but when Adam ate of it.  The spirit of mankind, endued by God, is the intended ruler of the created world.  Now if you can recognize the soul as represented by Eve and the spiritual area as Adam, you will begin to understand the plight of the un-renewed inhabitants of earth.  In the beginning the soul and the spirit were joined, but God separated them in order to work out His perfect will and purpose for the human race.  The soul of mankind was removed from the spirit, but a bond remained.  The soul was betrothed to the spirit from the beginning.  We may know this because the Hebrew word for woman, in this instance also called Eve, is “issah,” meaning, “betrothed one.”

The life of the spirit of mankind is Christ’s(“The Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living soul.  (Genesis 2:7) Therefore, it is to Christ that the souls of humanity belong.  The spirit of man was the inspired life of God; the soul was of the dust but supplied by the spirit.  Within the soul were the earthy aspects of man’s character.  In the soul was hidden the total of God’s substance, but minus His quality of righteousness, which is Spirit.  The divisive entity in the human soul is carnality, the worm that has stolen the peace of mankind and has been the shroud of death that has covered the earth.  Neither male or female can reach the full potential of their gender until they are again born of Christ’s Spirit and their souls learn submission to the recreated spirit.  The only way for mankind to find his place, which is Paradise, is through the Spirit and that recreated in man.

In every instance decadence may be seen as the result of lack of spiritual rule in the souls of people.  Deviant sexual behavior seeps into our midst because of misdirected longing – trying to fulfill an innate desire with the wrong partner.  I will not attempt to identify all of the forms in which evil manifests itself today.  I fully realize that my thoughts will not be acceptable to other than those with a mind that has been captured into Christ.  But if you are a partaker of this writing I assume that you are of the New Birth, so seek the Lord with all of your heart and He will open your eyes so that you may see.

Revelation is a book of allegories that were presented to John in the form of visions to enable recreated man to discern the truth of the unseen realm.  In chapters 17-19 you can read of the doom of the prostitute of Babylon and the triumph of the bride of the Lamb.  This area of Scripture pictures the soul duped by carnality and made to serve that cause until the revelation of truth removes deception.  The bride [soul] who was created to wear fine white linen is the same one that in captivity is garbed in scarlet and purple, glittering with the things to attract the lustful eye of mankind.

The man (spirit) was meant to rule, but cannot until he has been born again from above.  The woman (soul) is designated to be the mother of spiritual children, but she cannot until she is joined in submission to the recreated spirit for it is to that form that they must belong.  It is into the mortal human – the man of the ground – that the seed of the new life is planted by the Spirit of Christ to bring the perfect species of humanity on the earth.  God calls this form the NEW CREATION.  This new creation comes forth first as the recreated spirit, who must be bent on capturing, teaching and training his soul to conform to the new life that has come.  Then, after the soul joins the recreated spirit as a bride, a male child [child of the spirit] is born and it is this Christ-man, the second Adam [his presence was known in Jesus the Christ], who will bring order back to all of God’s creation.

It is the plight of all of mankind, together, to find this union.  Each person was created to hold both the feminine and masculine aspects of this eternal form, and they must individually find reunion and then unite as one purpose in Christ.  Until this circle is completed we will continue to struggle and weep in our barrenness.  Christ is the answer – the only answer.

Born:  To bring into existence.

Again:  To bring to a previous position.

To be born again is to bring into existence that which once was.

Man was created a spiritual being in the image of God, clothed in the Shekinah glory.  When the Spirit separated from him because of disobedience he became a mortal person, devoid of the life that had sustained him.  Spirit and soul were already separated in the bringing forth of Eve, so that feminine form remained when the spirit departed.  The life of the earthy one became the life of mankind.  [Please understand that although Eve represents the soul and Adam the spirit of mankind, male and female are designed to encompass both of these entities.  The “Adam and Eve” who left Paradise were sustained by the life of the soulish area and were therefore subject to death.]

Before the captives of the tempter departed the presence of God He clothed them in robes of flesh and blood.  By the knowledge of carnality they were now aware of the grief of their disobedience.

The soul has eternal awareness but not Life unto itself, which the Father has given only to the Christ.  To once again be supplied with the Life that is indigenous only to the Son, mankind must be born again into that Life.   So God clothed the Life, who is the Word of God, with human flesh to be the vicarious sacrifice of the flesh of mankind.  Thus, putting to death  – ONCE FOR ALL – the fallen nature of humanity.   The obedience of the soulish area of Christ Jesus allowed his physical form to die, releasing His Spirit [Spirit of Christ] to once again be the life force of humanity.  To be born again is the act of receiving the Word of God by faith in Christ, trusting that the sacrifice was of your flesh, [remembering that the sacrifice was done by Him for you, because you couldn’t] and that the Life you now live is Christ’s.  The Spirit and the Word are ONE!

Now any person, male or female, may have a recreated spirit to bring eternal life to his soul.  Any person may, and all persons ultimately will come to Him, because mankind was created in Christ; “for from him and through him and to him are all things.”  (Romans 11:36)

“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.  For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities, all things were created by him and for him.  He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.  And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.  For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven.”  (Colossians 1:15-19)

To prepare the way for mankind’s return to Father God, He first had to draw out a people for Himself – a righteous line from whom would come the Savior of the world.”

…”The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin.  Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished…” (Exodus 34:6, 7)

In the creation of all things, God accepted responsibility for all that He created.  All provision was to be from Him.  A circle was created to bring all things back into their beginning place – IN HIM.  Within this circle is all supply to accomplish His design.  The plan has been drawn, and His offspring are the ones who will act out the fulfilling of it.  The righteousness of mankind is the goal; faith and love together is the manifestation of that goal.

In the Beginning One (Christ) all things were created.  In love they were formed, and by the faith of God did they live.  God Almighty has sustaining faith that all He created will find its fulfillment in Him.  It is into this inner circle that he is drawing His handiwork.

The revelation of God to man comes in parts as man is able to receive Him.  He reveals Himself by identification with His name.  His name is blessed, and all who are identified with His name are blessed in that identification.  To Abraham He made Himself known as the God who Blesses: Adonay; Lord; El Shaddi, the All Sufficient God.  (See Genesis 12:2, 3)

God showed Himself to be the powerful LORD and worthy to be worshiped as He moved Abram from place to place and kept him safe.  Abram became Abraham [father of many nations] when he showed his faith in God by his obedience. (Read of the proving of Abraham’s faith, Genesis 22:1-18.)  God’s sufficiency was made evident to him, and Abraham was greatly blessed through his obedience and faith as he was identified with the “God of Abraham.”

When God made a covenant with Abraham to bring forth a people for His name, the process for return to the LORD Jehovah was set in motion.  In God’s heart was the pledge:  I will love them with an everlasting love.  Let us see now how God calls forth His Nation as He reveals Himself in the names by which He is called, and how He brings the chosen into identification with His name.  As the elect identify with His name, they become THOSE WHO ARE CALLED BY HIS NAME.

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.  (2 Chronicles 7:14)

elohim:  God.  The first of the names of Deity to appear in the Bible; a plural noun in form, but is singular in meaning when it refers to the true God.  Elohim suggests the almightiness and the Trinity of God.

“Then God [Elohim] said, ‘Let us make man in our image…'”  [Genesis 1:26.  This usage shows plurality.]

“So God [Elohim] created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him...”  [Genesis 1:27.  This is showing the unity of Divinity.]

God revealed Himself as the Three in One to Adam and Eve.  He is the Triune God in whose image they were formed – body, soul and spirit.  They recognized Him as the One out of whom all things came, the Father God, the One by whom and into whom they were created, the Son, and the One who gave the breath of life, the Spirit.  They were aware of the sovereignty of God, for it was He who gave them command of all creation.  It was into His created man that God inspired His life and gave them power to choose to become like Him in yielded obedience, or to strive to become like Him and fail.

yhwh:  The unspeakable name of the LORD of Israel.  This translates to Yahweh (Hebrew) and Jehovah (English).  Adam apparently knew God by the attributes that this name identifies.  It holds all of the attributes of the meaning of I AM; I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE. This form of the name of the LORD first appears in Genesis 2:4, “These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when the LORD [YHWH] God [EL] made the earth and heavens.”  This form of the name of God was present, but the first inhabitants of the earth did not know the full revelation of it.  Had it been there would have been no fall, and therefore no perfection of the race of man.

This name, Jehovah, also holds within it redemption – in place before the creation of man.  There are many aspects of this facet of God, and they identify and rescue man in the areas of his fallen position.

1.  Jehovah-jirah, the LORD will provide.

2.  Jehovah-rapha, the LORD who heals you.

3.  Jehovah-nissi, the LORD is my banner.

4.  Jehovah-shalom, the LORD is peace.

5.  Jehovah-tsidkenu, the LORD Our Righteousness.

6.  Jehovah-shammah, the LORD is there.

7.  Jehovah-sabaoth, the LORD is sovereign over all powers.

adonay:  This name of God is used exclusively as a divine name, and it translates to master.  It means LORD par excellence; LORD over all.  Adonay signifies His position as one who has authority over His people to reward the obedient and punish the disobedient.  This name is a reflection of something of the work of the LORD.   Adonay suggests His position as husband to Israel“For your Maker is your husband – the LORD Almighty is his name – the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth.”  (Isaiah 54:5)

In Genesis 15:2, “Adonay” is translated “Sovereign” when Abram recognized God as the One in authority to provide:  “O Sovereign LORD, what can you give me since I remain childless

el shaddi:  All Sufficient God.  He is able for all things.  This name suggests the fruitfulness of God.  In Genesis 17:1, 2, it is stated: “The LORD appeared to Abram and said:  ‘I AM El Shaddi; walk before me blameless.  I will confirm my covenant between me and you and will greatly increase your numbers.”

As Abraham trusted God, he became sufficient in himself to be the progenitor of the natural line of the generations, who would bring forth the Blessed Seed of the Spirit in the flesh of man.  The All Sufficient God planted in Israel all that is in His name, and Israel was betrothed to Him.  This means that nation Israel was under His authority and protection.  He did this in the natural order of the generations through Abraham’s seed – brought forth from his dead flesh, as it were.  The seed of Abraham’s offspring, Isaac, brought forth Jacob, who became Israel.  The soil of Israel [Abraham’s family], where the seed was planted, responded to the seed and brought forth a Savior.

el elyon:  God Most High, Only Supreme Being.  His distinctive character as Most High God is seen in Genesis 14:18 when Abram is blessed by Melchizedek, who is a pre-figure of the Messiah.  Then Melchizedek, king of Salem, brought out bread and wine.  He was priest of God Most High, and he blessed Abram  The one who blesses is higher than the one who is blessed.  Herein is a revelation of the Seed of Abraham; Melchizedek is Christ in another form blessing the progeny yet in the loins of Abram – in the form of the seed. The one being blessed is JESUS!

el olam:  Eternal God; The Everlasting God Forever.  This name is described in Isaiah 40:28, 29“Do you not know?  Have you not heard?  The LORD is the Everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth.  He will not grow tired or weary and his understanding no one can fathom.  He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.”  The significance of recognizing God as Eternal was signaled as Isaiah described Him by the name “Olam,” which is the Hebrew equivalent of the Greek “aion,” meaning age or ages.  This quoted Scripture depicts El Olam as the creator of the end of the Age of the Ages.

God being called by this name was recorded only once, and that was by Abraham at Beersheba:  Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba, and there he called upon the name of the LORD, the Eternal God.  (Genesis 21:33)

It is clear to see that Abraham was declaring a Spiritual truth in planting this little tree. The tamarisk grows in the desert and sprouts leafy branches that bear flowers to bring forth a fruit called manna.  Extrapolate.  Bring this bit of information into the understanding of the Spiritual realm.  Abraham is the dry soil where the Seed is planted.  The seed brings forth the tree that bears the Bread of Life.  The leafy branches are for the healing of the nations that will usher in the Kingdom Age, and bring an end to the Age of the Ages.  These branches depict the Body of Christ.

These are the names by which God appeared to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.  Although He appeared before the Hebrew children fully clothed in all that is in His name, YHWH, they knew Him best as El Shaddai.  Their experience with the LORD was with the God of Blessing, The All Sufficient God Who Exists who made a covenant with Abram.

It was when God spoke to Moses that He indicated He was ready to move in the understanding of the people from the God Who Exists, to the Fulfiller of the Promise.  God spoke to Moses, saying:

“I am the LORD.  I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob as El Shaddi but by my name LORD [YHWH] I did not make myself known to them.  I also established my covenant with them to give them the land of Canaan where they lived as aliens.  Moreover, I have heard the groaning of the Israelites, whom the Egyptians are enslaving, and have remembered my covenant.”  (Exodus 6:2-5)

Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them: The God of your fathers has sent me to you’, and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’  Then what shall I tell them?”

God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.  This is what you are to say to the Israelites, I AM has sent me to you.”  God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites: The LORD, the God of your fathers – the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob – has sent me to you.  This is my name forever, the name by which I Am to be remembered from generation to generation.”  Exodus 3:13-15)

I SHALL BE WHAT I SHALL BE is God’s interpretation of YHWH to Moses, and it is of inexhaustible meaning.  The understanding of the WHOLE NAME OF THE LORD can only come as it is revealed into each one who is born anew by the recreated spirit.  It is beyond the limits of the finite mind.  However, “I AM” is WHO AND WHAT GOD IS TO US, AND HE WILL DISTINGUISH THIS TO HIS PEOPLE.

For this cause, the Messiah has come.  And with Him has come the Spirit of Christ to remain.  These two, the second and third members of the Trinity, are the channels for the revelation of the first, who is the Father.

el gibber: Mighty God, the God of creation and redemption.  This name refers to the Messiah, who is Christ.

Isaiah 9:6, 10:21 and 60:16 uses this name (translated as Mighty God) in reference to the Messiah, the Redeemer.  Colossians 1:15-17 clearly identifies our Redeemer, Christ Jesus, as being endued with the same power as the Father: He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.  For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.  He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.”

messiah:  The Anointed One; The Promised One of the Davidic Dynasty; Christ Jesus.  [There were, however, many prefigures of Messiah before the appearance of Jesus.]

The Lord God’s promise to David:

…”The LORD declares to you that the LORD himself will establish a house for you:  When your days are over and you rest with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, who will come from your own body, and I will establish his kingdom.  He is the one who will build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.  I will be his father and he will be my son  (2 Samuel 7:11-14)

Now hear Solomon speak:

“I intend, therefore, to build a temple for the Name of the LORD my God, as the LORD told my father David, when he said, ‘Your son whom I will put on the throne in your place will build the temple for my Name.’ (1 Kings 5:5)

This is the progeny of the natural seed speaking a Spiritual truth concerning the Seed of Promise.  This Promised Seed came through the line of David in both the ovum and the seed.  Through his son, Solomon, the line produced Joseph, the natural inheritor of the throne and the earthly father of Jesus.  Nathan’s line brought forth the vessel of fulfillment for it produced Mary, the mother of Jesus, wife of Joseph.  Thus bringing Abraham’s seed to the promised fulfillment through David’s line, the Scion of the Promise, the Builder of the House.

”In that day I will restore David’s fallen tent.  I will repair its broken places, restore its ruins, and build it as it used to be, so that the remnant of men and all the nations who bear my name may seek the LORD.” (Amos 9:11)

The house that Messiah builds is not by might or power but by His Spirit.  In this endeavor we know Immanuel.

immanuel:  God with us.  This name concerns Christ Jesus, the Messiah.

“The Spirit of the LORD is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor.  He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the LORD’S favor.”  (Luke 4:18)

It is through Jesus Immanuel that we know the Father – the Voice of Authority to whom Christ Jesus was always obedient.  As we learn obedience we emulate Jesus, and do only what we see the Father do, and speak as the Father speaks.  It is the Christ of New Life in us who enables us to so walk.

Jesus, anointed in the LIFE who is Christ, brought the Name of God into the world:

“He [Christ] made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.”  (Philippians 2:7)

He is the Servant King, [Christ] come to present the Kingdom to the family of God [Christ’s body] by His namesake [Jesus].

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.  (Philippians 2:9-11)

jesus:  The Hebrew form of the name Jesus is Yahshua.  Yahshua means “YAHWEH IS SALVATION.”  This is the highly exalted Name that is above every name that is named in heaven and in earth.  The nature of God as Salvation was revealed in the man Christ Jesus.  Jesus is the only name before whom all things must bow.

It is by the Holy Spirit that the Name remains.

paraclete:  One called along side to help; counselor, advocate, comforter, the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ.

In the Old Testament the Holy Spirit was known as the Spirit of Prophecy who had been active in the past and would be poured out again in the age that was to come.  The Son’s presence in the flesh testified to what was foretold about Him by the prophets of old, through the power of the Spirit of the Son, who is Christ – Creator/Redeemer/Son.

The Essence of the Truth revealed in Christ Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy that is spoken of in the nineteenth chapter of Revelation.  This Spirit of Christ, manifested as the Life of Jesus, is the One who indwells our beings with New Life and is the guarantee of what is to come.  Jesus imparted His Spirit to His disciples before His departure into the Heavenly Realm  Again Jesus said, ‘Peace be with you!  As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.’  And with that he breathed on them and said, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit…’”  (John 2:22)  And the power of the Spirit was received while the apostles were gathered together:  “When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.  Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.  They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.  All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.” (Acts 2:1-4)

It is by the presence of the Spirit of The Most High God that one is brought into oneness in Christ and resurrected in His Body.  It is by the Spirit that one may take on the identity of the name who is worshipped.  Jesus is the name that we cling to as we are built up in stature to the full measure of Christ.  This is the hope that we hope for, the crown of our salvation – the presence of the Spirit of Christ within producing the fruit, which vicariously gives birth to every quality that bespeaks the holy name.  For this cause He came.  He enables us to become the image of the name by which we are known, and that name is Christ Jesus, the *only begotten Son of the Father – the first of many brothers.

father:  To me this is most precious name of all of the names of God.  Jesus Christ came to restore the world to the Father.  Humankind is returned to God’s family by means of Christ’s Spirit because God is the Father of Spirits.  When one is born again it is a rebirth of the Spirit of God in man.  The recreated Spirit of the Son within brings the person into relationship with the Father.

At this time and in this way the circle, which the LORD God Almighty inscribed in the heart of his plan, shall be accomplished.  Although by the patriarchs God offered blessings through the revelation of His Name, not all received it.  Now the blessings of holiness lie with the Son of the Father.  Through the body of Christ, the holy ones who bear His Name, the whole world will be brought into communion with the Name of the LORD, who is Father of all creation.

*1 (John 4:9)…He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.”

“His Name is high and lifted up, blessed is the NAME of the LORD.Blessed is the nation who’s God is the LORD, the people he chose for his inheritance.”  (Psalm 33:12)

The Name by whom all things came into being is Word of God.   Without Him nothing was made.  When God created man He placed within him the vision of His plan and blessed him unto the fulfilling of it.  He spoke to His very image, Adam, and said: Fill the earth – let the whole earth be filled with the glory of God.  Let the whole earth be filled with His glory as man responds to the Spirit of God and is raised up in the image of God, who is Christ.  Blessed are those who come by the Name of the LORD, for the LORD is glorified in His holy people and the whole earth will learn righteousness because of the justice among them.

When God created the universe He ascribed seasons of time appropriate for the development of the Seed of Promise to bring forth a people for His Name.  Adam lost the Seed so God had to find another vessel in whom the Word of God could fulfill the promise.  Through a covenant between God and Abraham a righteous line was developed – the people to be called by His name.

Lawless disregard for righteousness plagued the land of the generations of Adam’s seed.  But the Lord designated the progenitor of the lineage of His Seed when He granted a son, Seth, to Adam.  From that lineage He covenanted with Noah, ancestor of Abraham.  From Adam, through Seth, Noah and Abraham came the human seed for the line of the People of the Promise.

It was Abram of Ur of the Chaldees to whom God spoke.  Although from the time of Seth’s son, Enosh, man had called upon the Name of God, Abram was born in a family and a tribe who worshiped the moon god.  However, he openly confessed faith in the One God and obediently entered into a covenant relationship with the Almighty when the Lord called upon him:

The LORD said to Abram, “Leave your country, your people and your father’s household and go to the land I will show you.  I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.  I will bless those who bless you and whoever curses you I will curse; and all people on earth will be blessed through you.”  (Genesis 12:1-3)

God does not choose those who are to serve Him on their own merit – they have none.  Rather, He selects one in whose heart He has placed the worthiness of trust – one He can train and mold to His purpose.  Faith taught Abram patience, and God changed his name to “Father of many Nations,” Abraham.  “I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust, then your offspring could be counted.”  (Genesis 13:16)  And again:  “I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore.”  (Genesis 22:17)  But it was not until Abraham was one hundred years old that by divine intervention his wife, Sarah, who was ninety, gave birth to their son, Isaac, the seed of Abraham.

Abraham demonstrated his trust in God by obedience, and at the same time proved God’s faithfulness to provide according to the Name He had revealed to Abraham – El Shaddi, the All Sufficient God.

When Isaac was sixty years old his previously barren wife conceived and gave birth to Jacob and Esau.  Even though Jacob was the second-born son of Isaac, according to God’s plan he received his father’s blessing of the first-born son.  Because of Jacob’s fear concerning Esau’s anger over the stolen birthright, he fled to Haran where he lived among his father’s brethren.  While living there he married two of his uncle’s daughters, one of whom was Rachel, his beloved, the other, Leah.  It was on his return journey home that he proved himself to have the strength and tenacity suitable for a leader. When camped one night he encountered an unknown assailant, struggled with him and survived.  It was later revealed to him that this stranger was the Angel of the Lord.  Jacob became “the land of the living” as God blessed him and changed his name to Israel, for he struggled with God and with men and overcame.

Israel and his family settled as aliens in Canaan, the land that had been promised to his grandfather, Abraham.  The twelve sons of Israel and his wives became the nucleus of the twelve tribes of Israel.   Joseph, born to Rachel, was Jacob’s favorite son, and all of the others were jealous of him.  By their devious plan he was surreptitiously taken to Egypt when only a boy.  Joseph suffered many hardships there, but prospered when he found favor with the king.

While Joseph was serving as procurator of Egypt there came a terrible famine in the land of Canaan.  His family traveled to Egypt seeking help for their survival from the powers-that-be, not knowing that it was their own brother who would come to their aid.  Although Joseph was not the branch who would carry the Seed of Promise, he certainly is to be considered as a protector of the Seed, and used by God to this purpose.  So it transpired that Israel and all of his family found refuge in Egypt and settled there, escaping the ravages of the drought.  Israel took with him this promise:

“I am God, the God of your father,” he said.  “Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there.  I will go down to Egypt with you, and I will surely bring you back again.  And Joseph’s own hand will close your eyes.”   (Genesis 46:3)

What had begun as a rescue from famine became a life of servitude and hard labor for Israel‘s descendants.  Before Israel died, as patriarch of Nation Israel, he blessed his sons and designated to each a part of the land that was promised, which not they but their progeny would occupy.  Judah was anointed progenitor of the Seed.  The family of Israel grew to great numbers, and after 430 years God answered the cries of His oppressed people and sent Moses to deliver them out of the hands of the Egyptians.  Moses was of the tribe of Levi, the son of Jacob.  Again, although he was not of the chosen line to carry the seed of Abraham, he was a preserver of the Seed in his obedience to God’s call.

Through a well-devised plan of the Lord, the descendants of Israel left Egypt with Moses and his brother Aaron to make their way through the wilderness to Canaan.  Under the protection, guidance and instruction of the Lord, this rebellious, mumbling throng was to become the NATION ISRAEL.

Throughout the time of the dispersion of the seed of Abraham – wherever they went, whom-so-ever they were; all the while – God was moving these people, guiding and positioning them according to His purpose.   You see, they were not only the righteous line to produce the Savior, but also the people who were typifying what was to transpire through the redeeming power of Christ.  Names were changed and situations arranged to example, by these drawn-out people, the execution of God’s plan for the human race.

The time had come for the Lord to establish Himself in the understanding of His people as the Fulfiller of the Promise.  The law was given, and the family of Jacob became Nation Israel.  In obedience to God’s instructions Moses set up a tabernacle at the edge of the camp of the Hebrew children in the wilderness.  This was the place where God met with Moses to give instructions concerning the Hebrew children.   (THE WAY OF THE PROMISE would not find fulfillment until Christ Jesus and then completed in the people of the PATH OF LIGHT.)

The Lord God Almighty brought the new nation to the land east of the Jordan River and instructed them about entering and possessing Canaan.  But, because they were a people of the flesh and not of the Spirit, they shrunk back in fear and could not enter the Rest of the Lord.  Those whom God had called a people remained outside of Canaan until all had died who were twenty or more when they left Egypt.  It was a new generation under the leadership of Joshua and Caleb who entered and did battle, but never fully possessed Canaan.  It is a united nation that shall enter and fully possess the Promised Land.  This nation will be the CROWN of Israel, Jerusalem the bride.  (See Isaiah 62:3-5)

On that day they will say to Jerusalem, “Do not fear, O Zion; do not let your hands hang limp.  The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save.  He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.”  Zephaniah 3:16, 17)

What God ordains to be done, shall be done.  However, what he ascribes to a people cannot be done in parts but must be a united endeavor.  Israel was a divided nation – physically, in purpose, standards and allegiance.  She, in unfaithful and adulterous ways greatly displeased the Lord, and He allowed the recompense for evil to come upon her. But remembering His promise, He sent judges, priests and prophets to assist, warn and guide her.

The floundering nation Israel was not in tune with the Almighty God.  They intermarried with the pagans of the land that they had occupied and worshipped the gods common to the region.  In their undone condition they called upon Samuel, a judge in the land, to prevail upon the Lord to send them a king to help them against their foes.  This is what the Lord said to Samuel:

“Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king.  As they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are doing to you.  Now listen to them; but warn them solemnly and let them know what the king who will reign over them will do.”  (1 Samuel 8:7-9)

The Lord had compassion for the people.  Because of their pleas Saul was anointed as king and set upon the throne over the nation.  Saul had not the stature of spirit and soul to rule over Israel, and in the end he failed.  After Saul’s death and in accordance with God’s plan and foreknowledge, David, who had already been anointed king, stepped up to the throne.

The throne of the king typifies God’s throne in the heavenly realm and is representative of the authority of the Lord over Israel.   So now in David we see the seed, sown first in Abraham, then to Isaac and on to Jacob, through Judah and his progeny to become established as royalty over the nation of Israel.  The lineage of David, son of Jesse, provided both the natural ascent to the throne and the vessel for the holy birth.  It was through the union of David and Bathsheba [wife of Uriah who committed adultery with David and became his wife] that the Lord chose to continue the righteous line. Their son Nathan produced the lineage of Mary and their son Solomon, anointed as the firstborn, brought forth the lineage of Joseph.

After the death of David kings, priests and prophets came and went.  Some were faithful.  Most were not.  The nation moved into troubled times because of disobedience, and David’s house fell.  Rehoboam, offspring of Solomon, was the last king over the united Kingdom of Israel.  After that there were many renegade kings over the divided land. A few God-fearing men sat on the throne with the anointing of the Promised Seed of Abraham, but none were able to “mend David’s tent.”  The remnant was carried off into exile in Babylon. There they rested until one was raised up to rebuild the Temple and then the walls of the city could be reconstructed.  The Lord remained faithful to his promise and preserved the seed of Abraham, but allowed it to remain dormant except in the mouths of the prophets.

“So the holy seed will be the stump in the land.”  (Isaiah 6:13)

The Lord said to Isaiah:  “Go tell this people:  ‘Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.’  This people’s heart has become callused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes.  Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.  Then Isaiah said: ‘For how long O LORD?’  And He answered: ‘Until the cities lie ruined without inhabitant, until the houses are left deserted and the fields ruined and ravaged, until the LORD has sent everyone far away and the land is utterly forsaken.  And though a tenth remains in the land, it will again be laid waste.  But as the terebinth and oak leave stumps when they are cut down, so the holy seed will be the stump in the land.'”  (Isaiah 6:9-13)

The Lord preserved a remnant – a stump of poor people living in a land among people foreign to their cause.  The natural traits of the people of Jacob’s decent were described as rebellious from birth.  Knowing the fact that these were people of the flesh, for the Spirit was not yet present to indwell, one need not wonder at the wayward actions of this lineage.  The Lord speaks of the tribe of Judah in a more favorable way however, designating them as the elect of the chosen family of Israel.  To these He speaks of the renewal of the promise and the Savior to come.

Cyrus, King of Persia, is the one of whom the Lord said: “He is my shepherd and will accomplish all that I please; he will say of Jerusalem, ‘Let it be rebuilt,’ and of the temple, ‘Let its foundations be laid’.”‘  (Isaiah 44:28)

“For the sake of Jacob my servant, of Israel my chosen, I summon you by name and bestow on you a title of honor, though you do not acknowledge me.”  (Isaiah 45:4)

“I will raise up Cyrus in my righteousness:  I will make all his ways straight.  He will rebuild my city and set my exiles free, but not for a price or reward, says the LORD Almighty.”  (Isaiah 45:13)

Cyrus was not a holy man but a heathen.  The Lord can use whom so ever He wishes, and the cause that one is set-to is holy because the Lord has designed it.  And so it was by Cyrus’ endeavor that the Hebrew Nation returned to their land and the rebuilding of the temple began, as foretold in a vision to Daniel and spoken by the prophet Isaiah.

We can recognize the move in the Day of the Lord as the antitype of Cyrus.  The work that he did to cause the Israelites to be freed from Babylon and the rebuilding of the temple of the Lord is a picture of the elect remnant [David’s house, if you will] in this day.  He was selected by God as a protector and preserver of the seed of Abraham, although he certainly was not of that lineage or even of that ilk.  Neither are the ones so working toward the reconstruction of David’s house in this day of that seed, except by the matter of having been grafted in.  Just as Cyrus freed the Hebrew Nation from captivity in Babylon and then set about the work of rebuilding the temple, so will the remnant free the people of the world, which is the Babylon of this day.  The Living Temple of God will be constructed of living stones and will rise up as the truth is revealed in the saints.

The work ushered in by Cyrus was the beginning of the time allotted to “…finish transgression, put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy.”  (Daniel 9:24)  Jesus was to be the one to ordain what the Lord ordered and the remnant, which is Christ’s body, shall establish it.

A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit.”  (Isaiah 11:1)

The throne of David is symbolic of the Kingdom of God in our midst, and   Jesus came to ordain the establishment of it, for He is the Supernatural in the natural – the offspring of David, Seed of Abraham.

When Gabriel announced the coming birth of the Christ-child, he said to Mary: ”Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God.  You will be with child and give him the name Jesus.  He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High.  The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end.”  (Luke 1:30-33)

Jesus fulfilled the beginning of Daniel’s vision, and His death ended the outworking of the seed of Abraham in the natural realm.  Jesus had no offspring in the natural order, but He left His Seed [Spirit] scattered among many to become the family that He came to establish – CHRIST THE SON.

ORDER:  To issue a command by a voice of authority.

ORDAIN:  To prearrange unalterably.

ESTABLISH: To settle or install in a secure position, to cause a thing or an idea to be recognized and accepted.

Jesus the Christ was born to deal with sin and to unalterably set in place the greater thing to come.  He is a sign unto Himself.  He is the human form of the Son who appeared to ordain the Father’s command so that it can be established in the saints.

What is it that God commanded?  He said to man, “Fill the earth.”  God was speaking also to woman, [the soul of humanity] who in this primordial period was joined to man [human spirit].  (See Genesis 1:26-28

It is the Christ who is to “fill the earth.”  But this must be done through the souls of mankind.

Christ is the Son of God in whom the family is to be established – for He is the family.  He is the SEED.  Christ was first inspired into man’s created form when the breath of God was breathed into Adam.  Again the human form was inspired with the life of Christ when Jesus was born.  He came to ordain this life once for all in mankind.

Jesus Christ, Abraham’s issue, born of the Seed from above, came to plant His SEED by way of the Holy Spirit in the hearts of men.  He gives HIS Life, who is Christ, to mankind as each receives His Spirit.  God’s family shall be established once more as human form inspired with the Life of Christ.  JESUS WAS A SIGN OF THE GREATER THING TO COME.

Read the words of the priest, Simeon, who spoke this blessing to Mary, mother of Jesus: ”This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel and to be a sign that will be spoken against, so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed.  And a sword will pierce your own soul too.”  (Luke 2:34, 35)

And a sword did, indeed, pierce the heart of Mary so that the sign might be recognized and the SEED scattered abroad in the hearts of humanity

“I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed.  But if it dies, it produces many seeds.”  (John 12:24)

Jesus was the human form of the Word of God (Christ, the Seed) from the lineage of David, presenting Abraham’s seed to the world.  When Jesus was stricken by death on the cross His Spirit [Seed] returned to the Father to be scattered abroad in the hearts of mankind.  From His hand Christ’s Spirit flows to all who will receive Him.  These are the ground in which the SEED is planted.  From this crop He has preserved a remnant by planting back the seed they have produced for the crop of the final harvest.

Now the Seed crop is rising up to bring joy and pleasure to the heart of the Father!!

“It is as Isaiah predicted: If the LORD of hosts had not left us a seed [from which to propagate descendants], we would have fared like Sodom and have been made like Gomorrah.”   (Romans 9:29, Amplified)

The remnant has been preserved throughout the ages for the purpose of bringing together a people for the Name of the Lord.  They are a nation of priests and kings, raised up into the bosom of the Father as Christ gains ascendancy in their hearts.  He gathers His elect from every generation and enfolds them into the scroll that has been written – causing them to be part of it as they feed from it.  As the fulfillment of time approaches, the unfolding of the scroll begins and Truth and Love shall be manifested in the many-membered body of Christ.

The King of Glory came as a Servant to raise up kings and lords over the earth as the Crown of Splendor in the Lord’s hand – Jerusalem.   Jerusalem is the Bride of the King of kings and the Lord of lords.  She is the transformed souls of mankind in the victorious reign of Christ in all the earth.  [Read Isaiah, chapters 60 through 62.]

In this way the SEED will come full circle:  He who overcomes will inherit all this and I will be his God and he will be my son.”  (Revelation 21:7)

...The Sovereign LORD will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations.”  (Isaiah 61:11)

The cast in God’s scenario for the plan of a people for His Name:

God the Father:  He is the source of all things created.

Holy Spirit:  This aspect of the Almighty is the immediacy of God.

Christ:  The only begotten Son of the Father is the Word of Life.  He is the One to whom God has given Life unto Himself.  [John 5:26]

God the Father, God the Spirit and God the Son are one.

Man: God’s created human named Adam by God, the Representation of the spirit in the form of the male of the human species.  (See Genesis 2:7)

Adam: The image of God in human form.  He is the man of the ground inspired with Christ’s LIFE, which is the Holy Spirit.

Woman:  She is the feminine representation of humanity.  Brought forth from Adam, and named Eve to be man’s helpmate and the womb of humankind.

Eve:  The soul is allegorically known as Eve.  This feminine aspect of mankind is the betrothed of God in man (her spiritual counterpart being Adam). To her belongs the privilege of bringing forth children of the Spirit when once more joined to the spirit recreated in man.

Soul:  The soul is the dust, the intangible substance of God in mankind – the seat of the mind, will and emotions [appetites] of humanity.

Human spirit: This area of humanity is death bound until the Spirit of Christ is recreated in man.  The recreated spirit will bring Eternal Life to the soul.

Jesus the Christ:  The Savior of the world is wholly man, wholly God – the second Adam.

Satan:  The carnal nature of humankind.   This is lowest form of life for it is separated from God and bound to death.

In the beginning God had a gift He wanted to give.  He thought to bring into being, and to be the Father of a family with whom He could share His Life and celebrate love. He wanted to place the essence of Himself in human form with the ability of procreation to bring forth His family.  His plan has not failed but has forever remained right on track.  Mankind has been exactly what the Father God knew they would be.  Therefore, before He created the human species He provided for their redemption through His Son, Christ.  Jesus was the human vessel – the Servant brought forth through Divine intervention to bear the purpose of the King and walk in His power.  And, yes, to die a cruel death and rid humankind of the rank exhibit of death among us and provide for Life in abundance.

The Life He brings gives imperative breath to the characteristics of God, which are implanted in man’s soul.  Without this breath man is doomed to the drudgery of iniquity programmed in him because of his separation from God.  With the Breath of Life, these characteristics come out of the darkness into the light and are transformed back to the Godly qualities, which they were before being planted in the ground by God.

If the Breath of God remains only in the recreated spirit, no vital change occurs in man’s personality.  Man’s character bears witness to his soul, and only God sees the soul for it is revealed in His Light.  The recreated spirit alone does not the whole man restore.  It is not until the soul is captured into the New Spirit that his personality reveals to the world the transformation that has taken place.  One with the spirit recreated alone is one who is trying to emulate Jesus; one whose soul is renewed also, is walking as Jesus did.

When one is born-again the natural man of the ground will continue to insist upon being the ruler of his soul, but the Spirit of Christ within perseveres.  As the recreated spirit prays the word reaches the dividing place of the soul and spirit.  The soul learns submission and returns to the union once known.  There is no other victory so sublime, no change so complete as the one that is learned by the OVERCOMER.  Lust becomes love.  Fear changes to courage.  Disparagement is turned to building up, knowledge gains wisdom, and greed relinquishes its domain to giving and sharing.  All of the ugly influences of darkness, which were perversions of the Power of Light, are transformed and returned to the domain of the Kingdom of God!

The soul that has met the phases of life and overcome the temptations they present has grasped the energy of LIFE. The energy that once supplied the lower nature is rerouted through the life-giving power of the Holy Spirit and channeled to LOVE.  The rebellion that dogged the soul is conquered and placed under the feet of CHRIST.   Death is swallowed up by LIFE!

It was Christ who descended to earth in order to fulfill God’s purpose for mankind – to raise up a PEOPLE FOR HIS NAME.

(“…He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.)  It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”  (Ephesians 4:9-13)

Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him and he will bring justice to the nations.  He will not shout or cry out, or raise his voice in the streets.  A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out.”  (Isaiah 42:1-3)

And now the Lord says – he who formed me in the womb to be his servant to bring Jacob back to him and gather Israel to himself, for I am honored in the eyes of the LORD and my God has been my strength – he says: ‘It is too small a thing for you to be my servant to restore the tribes of Jacob and bring back those of Israel I have kept.  I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring my salvation to the ends of the earth.’”  (Isaiah 49:5,6)

The Servant King, whom the Lord has sent, is our Savior, the only Begotten Son of the Father in human form.  This Son is so lovely that our natural inclination is to serve Him, but He has come to serve us.  Until we allow Him to serve us to the full, He cannot reign as King over the earth.  Our service to Him must be that of a yielded vessel.

He has come to serve us as:

The Lamb of God

The Good Shepherd

The High Priest

The Lion of Judah

Christ Jesus came as the Paschal Lamb to extricate man from his low estate and to effect his transformation.  In His body Christ provided and set in motion all that is needed to bring mankind to the form of God’s design.  He came so that Life might be joined to the integral make-up of man and insures for him his intended place in the family of God.

God decreed that a flawless lamb should be slaughtered and its meat eaten before the children of Jacob could leave Egypt.  He further decreed that its blood should be smeared about their doorframes to prevent the spirit of death.  All of this pictured the Lord’s intent to provide a sacrifice for the sin of man, to eliminate the cause of sin and to present a guarantee of the perfect form of life.  The blood of the lamb on the doorposts of the Hebrew huts could not remove the sins of the people, but it was a symbol of the protection that they garnered by their obedience to God’s command and pointed to the Lamb of God, whose spilled blood does indeed remove the sin of the world.

Jesus said: “Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.   (John 6:54)  This means that we must partake of what He has done by accepting His poured out blood, not only as a sacrifice for our past iniquity, but also as the pouring out of our sin nature.  We must partake of the flesh of Jesus by feeding upon the Life He has presented and become one flesh with Him in the Body of Christ.

“You know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.”  (1 Peter 1:18, 19)

“We are objects of God’s mercy, who he prepared in advance for glory – even us, whom he also called, not only from the Jews, but also from the Gentiles.”

Because of this mercy He has extended grace through the Lamb of Sacrifice who is the Good Shepherd.

“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not be in want.

He makes me lie down in green pastures,

He leads me beside quiet waters,

He restores my soul.

He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his namesake.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil

for you are with me;

your rod and your staff,

they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.

You anoint my head with oil;

my cup overflows.

Surely goodness and love will follow me

all the days of my life,

and I will dwell in the house of the LORD

forever.”  (Psalm 23)

He is my Shepherd.  He comes to lead and feed and is our repast.  The Shepherd looks upon his flock with pleasure and leads, governs and guards as a companion and teacher.

He leads me beside quiet water.  He brings tranquility from within.  “That we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”  (1Timothy 2:2)

He restores my soul.  To restore is to turn back or return.  ”If we are faithless, he will remain faithful, for he cannot disown himself.” (2 Timothy 2:13)  He will restore the soul to its previous position.

His staff comforts me.  He is the staff we can lean upon, the One in whom we can trust; the One who gives rest and peace.  “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?  Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?  As it is written:  ‘For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.’  No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”  (Romans 8:35-37)

My cup overflows.  This cup holds whatever the Lord has for you at any given time, and when used is of greater worth than when stored.  The draining of this cup calls in greater supply.

And his goodness and love shall follow me.  God’s goodness causes one to have a merry heart.  “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine…”  (Proverbs 17:22 King James)  God’s love is mercy and extends to us the greatest meaning of His Godliness.  Those who are merciful and good are gracious and kind; and God is godlier than that!

I will forever dwell in the house of the Lord.  In the Hebrew form, “to dwell,” means to possess and remain, to sit down to rule.  It also carries the meaning to marry.”  The Spirit of the Lord comes into our house to bring us into His.  He means to remain until He we are His possession; until He has rule; until one’s soul is united with His Spirit and is moved into His house – as in a marriage, once there to remain forever.

“Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from continuing in office; but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood.  Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.  Such a high priest meets our need – one whom is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens.  Unlike the other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people.  He sacrificed for their sins once for all when he offered himself.  For the law appoints as high priests men who are weak; but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the Son who has been made perfect forever.  (Hebrews 7:23-28)

Just as the Father was High Priest of the sacrifice of the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ is the High Priest of lives laid down in adoration.  Because of the righteousness He imparts to each one who receives Him, He is able to prepare them for glory. He receives the incense of the offered prayers and makes intercession for His flock. With holy hands he cleans, washes and otherwise prepares each one for their place in the priesthood of believers – thus, offering up a living sacrifice to the Lord.  He sanctifies each candidate for priesthood, causing them to do and to become what they never could without His intervention, undertaking and intercession.

he is high priest of the new covenant:  He exchanges the Law of the Tabernacle for the promise of the Sacrificial Lamb:  Having fulfilled the Law of Moses, He brought the Covenant of Love.  This covenant holds the promise of the “greater thing to come,” spoken of by Paul and sealed by the Holy Spirit.  (See Romans 8:6-17)

he is high priest of our confession:  Jesus confessed the sin of the world before the Father as He bore all iniquity to the cross.  As we confess Him as Savior we are freed of the separation from the Father God, which was the ruin of mankind.

he is high priest of our faith:  When Jesus is received as Savior, a measure of faith is given – it cannot be earned.  As one fixes his eyes upon the Lord, faith will become fact for He will be seen, as He is – TRUTH, the fact of faith alive.  TRUTH and LOVE manifested together will complete the good work that the High Priest of our Faith began.  “Christ in you is the hope of glory…”  – when Christ appears, you will appear with Him in glory, for you will be as Jesus is.

He is High Priest of the Sacrifice of Our Flesh.  The man of the flesh cannot survive the grave – flesh and blood do not rise up.  It is the man of the spirit who must rise and that man free of the flesh. Through obedience to truth the spirit gains superiority in love, and the flesh dies.  The dead flesh becomes a sacrifice of the earthy life, in favor of the eternal.  It is the High Priest Christ Jesus who cuts away the flesh, burns the corruption and cleanses the inner parts [spiritual], which will be offered up to the Father.

He is High Priest of Our Worship:  We cannot worship God until we worship Him in Spirit and in Truth, and this we must do in union with Christ.  We bring a sacrifice of praise unto the Lord when we have finished what remains in our flesh of the afflictions of Jesus.  Thus, the holocaust offering of the Day of the Great Feast is prepared and the true worship is realized, “for the Lord is our Righteousness, blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.”

he is high priest of our inheritance:  It is the Christ who brings us to the place of the rest remaining so that He can walk out in us the fullness of our inheritance, which is THE LIFE OF CHRIST.  Until that rest is entered into, we cannot possess the prize of the high calling.  He awaits us in the Holy of Holies, having done all to prepare the place where we may dwell with Him.  Enter in.

When all has been settled and His throne is established in every heart; when all principalities and powers have been trampled under the feet of His body by those who are overcomers, He will be crowned King of kings as their crowns are laid at His feet.  He has remained with us all the way from the slain Lamb to the Triumphant Lion of Judah, Ruler of Heaven and Earth.  Heaven and earth have become one.  He has brought us by way of the OVERCOMER and enabled us to share in His full inheritance.  He reigns in the heavenly realm as Son.   We have become one in Him.

The man of the earth is insatiable – he is constantly in need of being replenished.  On the other hand, the spirit man is constant – needing only to be allowed to grow.  The key to understanding mankind’s purpose and assuming our place there lies with the recreated spirit.  Therefore the spirit man must be allowed to reign over each individual’s land.

The transformation and stepping into one’s place does not come by supplication and good works but rather by simply yielding in all things to the Spirit of the Almighty.  It is an invisible work that must occur.  Take no care, have no plan, carry no concern toward the change, only trust and obey.  The problems of the world will remain until the renewal of all things, but God is calling those of the Kingdom to move, now, into that realm- being in the world but not of it.  Be immovable in your faith and seek the face of God.

Each trial that is met in the world can become a bridge as we learn to overcome.  It is not a time for “binding away” adversity, but of trampling it under the feet of Christ as we rest, secure in Him.  Have no fear but let your faith become FACT for you as TRUTH is revealed in your soul.  Be obedient to FAITH unto righteousness – it is by righteousness that the world will be judged and joined to heaven’s realm.

Receiving the Kingdom of God in earth is a thing that must be done individually, and it will not be a sudden change.  It is true that the Spirit of the Lord comes suddenly for His own, but He comes to remain until the rising of the saints transpires.  When the effulgence of His glory is apparent in the elect, they will be raised up and He will be seen as they also are seen.

The elect will take the Standard of Righteousness throughout the world – moving as Jesus moved because they are one in Him.  This is Christ’s return, “not to deal with sin, but to raise those who have longed for His appearing.”  Don’t you know that the righteous ones are to judge the world and reign with Christ Jesus until all evil is overcome?

The world is wounded, but it cannot be healed.  The only help for the world lies in its transformation at the renewal of all things.

When (God’s) judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness.  Though grace is shown to the wicked, they do not learn righteousness; even in a land of uprightness they go on doing evil and regard not the majesty of the LORD.  O LORD, your hand is lifted high, but they do not see it.  Let them see your zeal for your people and be put to shame; let the fire reserved for your enemies consume them.”  (Isaiah 26:9-11)

Christ Jesus has remained in the heavenly realm until the arrival of the fulfillment of time.  Now He has not “come down,” rather, He is raising His body as He rises in them to present the Kingdom of God in all the earth.  As the elect bear the Standard of Righteousness in the world sin will be overcome.   Justice standing upright in the world will be a fire to iniquity.  Just as fire overcomes and reduces wood, hay and straw to ashes, if one clings to sin, he, too, will be overcome, and the life he has known will become ashes.  All that is bound to mortality will meet death for only that which is eternal will remain.

The rising up of the Son will appear to mankind, as does the rising of the morning sun.  It will be a gradual awareness of the LIGHT of Christ.

Do not look for a supernatural appearance of a heavenly visitation – the Supernatural is in the natural.  Christ’s appearing is to be – once again – in human form.  This is the purpose for Christ’s Life in the form of Jesus: to bring the Supernatural into the natural form of humanity.  And this is God’s purpose for mankind:  Mankind walking in Holy Righteousness by the power of Christ’s Spirit – free of iniquity in his soul.  Sin is taken care of, for the separation that severed man’s relationship with God has been overcome.  The “born-again” no longer walk in sin.

God has no plan to remove man from the sphere of his habitation but instead, to join earth’s realm with the heavenly.  He has no plan to destroy, or to allow man to destroy His creation.  Rather, the evil that has transpired in the earth shall be overcome in the fiery judgment of righteousness.  The Almighty is able to do what He desires, and His plan has been in place since before the beginning of all that He created.  Man in his disobedience is NOT able to thwart what the Sovereign God has purposed to do.

God laughs as He observes the antics of the pompous and the powerful of the world.  He knows the weakness of their strength.  There are things that humankind cannot touch, and these are the very things that God has designed to rule over the world.  People want to build God’s Kingdom and change the world.  God is building a people who shall bring the world into His Kingdom.

As things happen in the spiritual realm they cause the effect experienced in the world.  Since the realm of the unseen is made up of wickedness as well as righteousness, evil occurs here.  Wickedness comes from the thoughts and desires of those who have not LIFE but live death-bound lives directed by carnality.  By the revelation that has come I am endeavoring to explain the things pertaining to establishing the Kingdom of God in the earth.  The mystery that has surrounded the word due to the veil over the minds of men is removed on Mount Zion, in accord with God’s promise.  (See Isaiah 25:7; Hebrews 12:22-24)

Righteousness is being developed in the body of the elect that God has purposed for this time.  They are the final part of the body of Christ to be birthed into the world – they are the feet.  It is this portion of Christ’s body that shall stand in this day and proclaim righteousness to the world, for they are the WORD in this DAY.  (See Revelation 14:1-8)  The word they proclaim is FAITH AND LOVE ARE UNITED.  Because of their obedience to God, love has brought LIFE to faith and caused it to be tangible.  Faith is moved by love.”

The impetus for this move is LOVE.  TRUTH received by FAITH becomes FACT for these.  This high FAITH begets the Peace of God, which is demonstrated in righteousness and worked out through LOVE.  FAITH and LOVE together is the manifested Christ in His body.  [The body of Christ is the Church of the Firstborn, the Bride of Christ.  A woman shall surround a man.”  Jeremiah 31:22] Jesus, the Firstborn, is the Head of this glorious body and all of the parts are joined as they are made perfect together, and the feet are firmly fixed in the place of rising.  (See Ephesians 5:23; Hebrews 11:29, 40; Zechariah 14:4, 5.)

The body that is beginning to stand is like the awakening of a sleeping giant who has been stretched out in the world.  Christ rising in them is causing this giant to stand.  As these people who are united in Christ are recognized as righteousness, judgment will be in the earth.

God sent His Son Christ Jesus as grace manifested to the world for the purpose of demonstrating His mercy through salvation.  Jesus placed salvation here by the scattering of His Seed by means of the Holy Spirit.  Now the Seed of the Word has been nourished by the Holy Spirit and caused what was planted to be raised up in another form, which is HIS BODY – THE LIVING WORD.

We have been living in the period of God’s grace.  Those endued with the Spirit of Christ have been vessels of grace extending the power of God’s love in the outworking of Spiritual gifts.  They are anointed to preach, teach and evangelize until the elect reach the Standard set before them.  It has been a wounded and disjointed body doing the righteous acts, for the time of the healing and joining of the body of Christ have not fully come.

The grace of God has not brought righteousness to the people of the world. But Christ has brought righteousness to the elect remnant – as was His intention from the beginning – TO RAISE UP A PEOPLE FOR HIS NAME.

Now as this new creation begins to appear [the perfect form of man] the old in-part form shall pass away.  The imperfect form of the wounded body of the resurrected Christ shall cease its disjointed work in favor of the ascended Christ who moves above faith and hope to the perfect and the greatest, which is the power of LOVE.  This manifested righteous form of Christ will be judgment among mankind, and the people of the world shall learn righteousness!  (See 1 Corinthians 13 and Isaiah 26:9-11.)

“Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.”  (John 17:17)

Because of the manifested righteousness of God, justice shall be served.  Grace is withdrawn when Christ is attained, and the purpose of mankind will be fully revealed.

So if the “Cords of Justice” have bound the world, what does this mean to mankind and the way the world operates?

It means that all movement according to the perverse will of fallen man will come to a grinding halt.  It will not happen abruptly but this will be the outcome.  The Body of Christ makes up the Tabernacle of the Testimony [Word of God] as spoken of in Revelation 15.  The seven bowls of God’s wrath being poured out is the perfection of righteousness standing as judgment in the world.  Those who are so standing are the Church of the Firstborn who have already met the judgment of the family of God as mentioned in 1 Peter 4:16, 17.  If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?” (1Peter 4:16)  Judgment will meet all areas of iniquity in the flesh of mankind and all that lives by the blood [have not the LIFE of the New Birth] will die.  This is speaking of all carnality among mankind – words, thoughts and deeds.

For a time the kingpins of the world will increase in their rule as they attempt to stanch the righteous element that is rising up.  This will be seen not only in blatant crimes but also in the stealth of carnality and it’s outworking in the work place and in government. There will be confusion as justice bombards the place where evil has ruled.  The operation of the things outside of God’s righteousness will become a struggle and without recompense.  This will spread into the private lives of the people.  The leaders in the empire of Babylon will be cunning in their desire to lead and retain their autonomous reign.  They will try to draw from past experiences to remedy situations as they arise; they will use subterfuge and duplicity as they put their shoddy plans into practice – but to no avail.  Evil will be it’s own undoing.

Because the rule of the flesh is insatiable and its desires are bound to death, there will be a rebellion in the realm of the world against the reprehensible rule of cruelty and oppression.  Even those who do not know Christ will rise up and refuse to any longer dance to the tune of the pipers.  (See Revelation 18)   Even then, unless they cast their care upon Christ by receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, there will be much suffering and sorrow.

The people of the system of the world have set up their own standard of righteousness and called the things that are evil good and that which is good evil.  One need not look far to see who the leader is in this work of anti-Christ for it is carnality itself, having caused natural man to be its mouth-piece and form, the very image of the carnal nature.

The so-called Christian Nations are the areas where evil abounds.  There are other places of darkness, but they are the innocents who have not the word.  Yes, there is much wickedness and suffering in that darkness, but the real damage is done in the places where the word has been sown and man in his logic has usurped God’s rule.

Anything that stands in the way of worshiping God in purity and truth is evil.  Goodness cannot spring forth from a place that is repressed by ritualistic order – a form of worship but without the Spirit.  Man cannot direct purity; man cannot bring forth righteousness – he cannot bring down God’s glory.

Let the Christ of God enter your heart and open your eyes that you might see the signs that are given.  Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord and He will raise you up.  Quit trying to do the “right thing,” instead, let His Wisdom be your understanding.  Allow your being to be inundated by the love of Christ so that all you do will be the out-working of His goodness.

Throughout the church age Christians have “bound Satan” to prevent evil from overtaking.  This may have served a good purpose, but now the time has arrived for overcoming evil with good.  One cannot do it for the whole world, only individually.  This is the way that evil will be overcome for all – one by one, step by step.  In Revelation 20:3 it is stated that Satan will be bound for a thousand years (until perfection is achieved) then that entity is released to test his power and he is overcome.   Let us begin the work of overcoming power.

The wrath of God has been put into motion and it cannot be stopped.  All that is not His righteousness will fall.  There is NO WAY to prevent it.  The Spirit of Christ is the Light that searches the soul.  Invite this Light to seek out every dark area in your being and allow the Truth to dispel the darkness.  Let the Truth direct all that you think, speak and do.  Receive all of your goods and services through the only Hands that can provide in this day.  See that all building is toward the Kingdom of God.  HE WILL SHOW YOU THE WAY.

“Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.”  (Psalms 91:3)

It would be a shallow man indeed who could walk through this world unscathed by the wounds that come to human flesh.  However, we must learn not to let the abrasions detour us, or allow the deep wounds to be unto death.  On the contrary, learn to let adversity be to the building up of the inner person.  It is important that life in the physical form be sustained until each person attains the stature to which he has been called.  Christ Jesus said that in this world we would have trouble but rejoice, for He has overcome the world!

The world order is foreign to redeemed man who is but an emissary of God’s Kingdom to aid in the establishment of heaven in earth. Mortal man is attacked by an onslaught of strife until the death of his physical form, and this mode will not change until mankind is transformed from corruptible to incorruptible and his life form becomes eternal.  Look to the Lord and do not have fear when trouble comes.  The flesh must be shed before Kingdom living is exemplified in earth but it is the flesh-nature that must go.  All endeavors must be toward this accomplishment while we live in earth.

To allow the residue of sorrow and strife to remain in the form of grief, anger, jealousy or unforgiveness causes one to be ensnared in a trap that will corrupt.  To be caught in such a trap may be a step toward spiritual and even physical death.  (Read Job, chapter 18)  This snare belongs to the fowler [carnality] and exists in the minds of men to rob them of peace and the Light of Life.  Corruption in any form cannot be contained; it is like an infection.  From this infected place hate, illness, bitterness and depression can spread all to the detriment of the host.  No matter its source; no matter its form; wherever the snare enters it can spread until the entire vessel is ruined.  It must be stopped before one’s soul is robbed, the body wounded unto death and the eternal stature of maturity never gained in this life.

Disappointment, sin and grief are ever among us and will devour whoever is caught in the trap unless one knows how to escape.  These enemies of equanimity invade one’s area perversely, and with subtle strength draw the captive downward.  The only defense is to be steadfast in the armor of God: truth; faith and love bring righteousness and peace in the Holy Spirit.  This garb of Christ worn constantly will thwart overtaking by the enemy.

We are speaking not only about the troubles that come to the people of the world but also the Christian who is endeavoring to lead a holy life and is still plagued by the deadly pestilence that assails even the redeemed.  Notice Job:

“Job was a blameless and upright man; he feared God and shunned evil.”

Job was blessed with a large family and much wealth.  He regularly thanked God for his many blessings, and made oblations and sacrifices on behalf of himself and his, perhaps, not-so-thankful children in case they neglected to do so.  Through no fault of his own all of his wealth, his servants, and every member of his family were swept away.  All that he had held dear was removed.  When grief overtook him he fell down on the ground and worshipped God.  Job did not charge God with wrongdoing.

Job sat among the ruins of his life and grieved.  His body broke out with painful boils.  He tried to remove them with a broken piece of pottery while remaining among the ruins, in the ashes. (Broken pottery represents flesh. Acts of the flesh cannot heal) Still Job did not sin in what he said.  Job maintained his integrity as he conversed with the friends who came to console and commiserate.  He did not waver even when they cajoled him, saying, “Curse God and die.”  Throughout the ordeal Job remained faithful.

Over and over as Job retold the sad story of his life, he magnified himself to God and to those who listened.  Again and again he recounted the theme of his generosity and goodness to those who accused him of some evil act.

Finally when all had spoken, God addressed Job in something of this manner:  “Who are you, O man, to tell of your goodness before God?  What is your stature when you are measured before the Almighty, Creator of all things, Designer of the universe and Modifier of the pleasures of the earth?  What does your goodness mean when you come before the God of heaven and earth?  What is your strength; what is your worth; what is your ability as you stand before God?”

Job answered by acknowledging the Sovereignty of the Almighty.  He humbled himself and repented of his arrogance and of speaking of things that he did not fully understand.  A humble and contrite heart God will not turn away.  God restored Job’s health and wealth.  He gave him a family and blessed the latter part of his life more than the first.

All that we know of the character of Job is what is revealed in his monologue concerning his past.  From this we may surmise that he was devout, a generous and kind man, but a proud man.  HOWEVER, JOB DID NOT FULLY UNDERSTAND GOD’S COMMAND TO HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE HIM.  When tragedy struck, he sat in the midst of his trouble, and sitting there broke out in sores.  There is a lesson to be gleaned here.  Sitting in the ashes of an experience is to become one with the problem -making a god of it.  It is only to the Almighty that we are to be so joined.  When sorrow comes we must look to God for comfort, quickly place the situation in His hands and move on rejoicing that He is the One in charge.  Any other way is to become entrapped in a snare.  Job failed in his attempt to gain God’s sympathy and comfort while he remained in his trouble, and from there he enumerated all of his good acts to God.  One cannot approach God on his own merit by pleading for mercy while announcing “righteous acts” to Him.  We may come to God in humility, not in any position of our own. Our petitions must be made based upon the goodness and power of God alone.  We are dependent upon His grace and mercy.  When Job approached the Lord in obeisance and humility, allowing God to be God, temporal blessings were restored to him TWOFOLD!

Due to certain foibles and physical weaknesses, every person is predisposed to the pitfalls of life.  A person may be moving along loving God and his neighbors; doing good and not evil and still trouble may come to him.  We cannot always avoid all of the troubles of this fallen place, but we can know how to rise up out of them.  The problems that beset us may not be removed but God says nothing will come to anyone that is not common to man.  He is sufficient for all things.  He will never leave or forsake us, and the way out from under the oppression is Christ Jesus.

So do not be afraid when you are tempted or wounded in any way.  Place the entire incident in His hands and do not return for it.

“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.  I will say of the LORD, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’  Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.  He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.”  (Psalms 91:1-4)

The trials of life are not put before us; they are simply there because of the condition of the whole world.  God allows them to remain for the purpose of building up the elect in this day.  If it were not for the trials how would one learn to be an OVERCOMER?  As we walk through the span of our human life we must learn to decrease as Christ increases.  To bind away adversity is only to put it aside to be met another day, in perhaps another form.  To keep looking at the circumstances of life instead of having the single purpose toward God is to be caught in the fowler’s snare.  This is the trap that holds us for greater trouble and separates us from fellowship with the Father, which in turn leads to iniquity.

Iniquity may be recognized as the lust of the eye, lust of the flesh and the pride of life.  These are the three things to which Adam and Eve succumbed. (Genesis 3:1-7)  These same three temptations Jesus refused in the wilderness (Matthew 4:1-11), but they remain in the world as the plague of mankind today.

God would not have His children ignorant of the snare of the world.  This trap can mean destruction to those who are unaware of the track of evil intent.  Meet adversity head-on with a triumphant shout of joy.  Allow the joy of salvation to salute the trials, and evil will be foiled while strength of soul is gained.  The Lord will not allow one who is praising Him while undergoing hardships to be destroyed, even if he is bent low.  When evil besets you let the praises rise to the One who sustains life, and strength and blessings shall soon abound.  A full-fledged rejoicing is strength for the oppressed – be it of mind, soul or body.  Praise extinguishes the fiery darts and one’s rightful place in God’s Kingdom will be established.

There are many snares that are formed in the world that we can learn to avoid, but some of our grief may come through the choices or failings of others.   There are also things over which no one has control.  Still, the option remains as to how we respond to what is presented.  Adversity in any form must be used as an opportunity for growth.  Then it becomes a building block rather than a crushing stone, an open door rather than a boulder blocking the way.  Trust God in all things, and the firm foundation upon which to stand will be revealed to you.

When a trial comes due to the failing of others – if you are hurt by something that someone has done or said – if you do not turn it over to Christ unforgiveness may rise in you.  Unforgiveness will then become a bitterroot choking out the Tree of Life in your garden.  We must forgive in Christ – placing the burden of the care of the thing into His able hands.  Forgive the person who has someway wronged you, living or dead, whether he repents and receives the benefit of your forgiveness or not.  If he receives the act of forgiveness from you whom he has wronged, but does not repent, he is creating a disaster within himself.  Forgiveness to and from one another must be analogous with Divine forgiveness.   So in the strength of Christ, if you have wronged another confess your sorrow for the wrong to God and to the person.  Then turn from the way of iniquity.  Even If the one who was hurt won’t forgive you, in Christ you are forgiven.

The real terror is the snare of destruction, which one brings to oneself by retrieving a thing from out of the fiery pit to be used in this life.  Because of the crucifixion of the flesh of Christ Jesus certain things were sent to the trash heap of the hell of Gehenna.  When one chooses to incorporate the foibles of the lower nature into his life he is inviting the fire of destruction.  God institutes all fire, but the fire that burns in that place is for the burning of evil intent.  To use the practices that Jesus has banished there is to suffer the danger of the consuming fire.  However, in His resurrection Christ has supplied the Spirit of Life, and it is by this Spirit that the fire of retribution burns for cleansing and purification.  It burns in the implementation of Christ’s righteousness and is unto LIFE.  This fire reveals the whole purpose of man, which is to display God’s righteousness in the world and trample under every facet of carnality so that Christ might reign gloriously in His body, which is man’s kind, (the new creation) the family of God in the Son.

Because of human frailty and because of Divine design, the fallen nature of mankind became a power in the universe. Jesus Christ Himself called this entity the prince of this world.  Still, it is all to a purpose.  Recall the words of Paul:For God has bound all men over to disobedience so that he may have mercy over them all.”  (Romans 11:32)

The strength of wickedness invades not only by the perverse actions of people but also in the torments of nature.  This energy exists through the choice made by humans in Paradise when the lower nature rather than the Voice of the Almighty was obeyed.  In the beginning, man was given dominion over all things created.  By his thoughts, words and deeds he was to extol the virtue that was his and keep his domain in line with the perfect will and purpose of the Father of the Universe.  But man gave his domain over to the lower nature, and it is this nature that has set up Babylon and ruled the world.  Mankind’s triumph will be known, and the Father’s purpose for mankind completed, when all of the snares have not necessarily been avoided but overcome in the power of Christ.

The carnal nature has been dominate in the world, and is an ever-present threat to the redeemed unless the Christ Spirit within is cultivated through devotion, obedience and prayer.  The way of the world is easily re-entered by one who does not continue to walk by faith.  The snare of carnality is ever ready to resume its wicked ways.

1. Friendship with the world:  “You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God?  Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.”  (James 4:4)

2. Desiring the world: People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction.”  (1Timothy 6:9)

3. Spotted by the world through a guilty conscience: “If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and a raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.”  (Hebrews 10:26, 27)

4. Loving the world and the things in it: Do not love the world or anything in the world.  If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.  For everything in the world – the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does – comes not from the Father but from the world.”  (1 John 2:15, 16)

5. Conforming to the world:  These dreamers pollute their own bodies, reject authority and slander celestial beings“…these men speak abusively against whatever they do not understand; and what things they do understand by instinct, like unreasoning animals – these are the very things that destroy them.”  (Jude 8, 10)

Christ Jesus came into the world to free mankind from the fowler’s snare.  To walk in this freedom is to advance toward God’s purpose for man in the earth.  Jesus promised that He would never leave us, never forsake us.  That He would, in fact, take us to the Father.  The freeing of human souls is realized as each receives the Spirit of Christ.  (He is the Way.)  Souls experience the freedom in the promised presence of the Son as the Spirit of Truth leads to all truth.  (He is the Truth)   “Knowledge leads to godliness.”  Thus the Fruit of the Spirit is developed, and every fruit becomes tangible as Christ’s love gives it life.  (He is the Life.)  This, then, is the overcoming love that will manifest righteousness and overturn the carnal nature.  Every evil snare and plan will be no more – not even to be remembered.

Valley experiences are for drawing up the child of God and not to be confused with the tragic outcome of carnal experiences.  The whole world is in the Valley of Decision, and from this depth each will choose either the snare of Satan or the Paradise of God.

“One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon a rock.  Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me; at his tabernacle will I sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the LORD.”  (Psalms 27: 4-6)

“The LORD brought me forth as the first of his works, before his deeds of old; I was appointed from eternity, from the beginning, before the world began.  When there were no oceans, I was given birth, when there were no springs abounding with water; before the mountains were settled in place, before the hills, I was given birth, before he made the earth or its fields or any of the dust of the world.

“I was there when he set the heavens in place, when he marked out the horizon on the face of the deep, when he established the clouds above and fixed securely the fountains of the deep, when he gave the sea its boundary so the waters would not overstep his command, and when he marked out the foundation of the earth.  Then I was the craftsman at his side.  I was filled with delight day after day, rejoicing always in his presence, rejoicing in his whole world and delighting in mankind.

“Now then, my sons, listen to me; blessed are those who keep my ways.  Listen to my instruction and be wise; do not ignore it.  Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway.

“For whoever finds me finds life, and receives favor from the LORD.  But whoever fails to find me harms himself; all who hate Wisdom love death.”  (Proverbs 8:22-36)

“It is because of him (God) that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God – that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.”  (1 Corinthians 1:30)

In Wisdom God created all things and by this Wisdom He reveals Truth to His little ones.  Because of His love it must be shared with all who have ears to hear.

There is a distinct purpose for humanity that must be carried out for the plan of God to be brought full circle.  Mankind must become so filled with Christ that he is no longer a reflection [reversed image] of God but an exact representation.

But to understand, we must first have implanted within our hearts the undeniable truth of these facts:

All things come out of God

Isaiah 45:6, 7, “I am the LORD, and there is no other.  I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I the LORD, do all these things

Colossians 1:15, 16 “for by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.  He is before all things, and in him all things hold together”

Man was created in Christ

Ephesians 1:4-6 “For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.”  In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will – to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One, he loves.”

Christ is the Living Word who brought all things into tangible form:

John 1:1-5 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was with God in the beginning.  Through him all things were made, without him nothing was made that has been made.  In him was life, and that life was the light of men.  The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.”

The recorded Word of God is a transliterated word – translated from the heavenly language of the Almighty to the vernacular of the fallen species of man.  The only way that one may fully understand what has been transcribed in the Bible is by means of the word inscribed in the heart of the established soul.  Let us allow this Wisdom to lead us into all truth.

Do you ever wonder how evil came to be?  When you consider the fact that God is Perfect Love and the Creator of all things, He alone is God – from whence did evil come?

Now this fact has to be reconciled with the goodness, holiness and wisdom of God.  This entity [known as Satan and revealed as the carnal nature of mankind] was dormant in the soul of humanity from the beginning.  Satan had no strength until – through the temptation in his soul – Adam chose to give life to evil.  The life of carnality is bound to death and dependent upon the souls of mortals for its existence.

The dust is the stuff of the earth and all that fills it.  It came out of God and from it He formed the soul of man.  Man had not the covering of skin and the life of blood until he fell short of the glory of God.  (I strongly suggest that you read the account of creation with an open mind and a heart that is directed by the Spirit of the Almighty; Genesis 1-3.)  Within the dust are all of the attributes of God, but apart from His Spirit they are devoid of Life.  This is the reason that He inspired man with His Breath, which is, of course, His Spirit.

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness  (Genesis 1:26)  The spoken word was the Energy of God presented for the formation of mankind“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.”  (Genesis 1:27)  Man was created of the dust – the same substance from which all things came. The LORD formed the man from the dust of the ground.”  This substance was debased – empty of God’s Spirit.  The earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.”  (Genesis 1:2)  Then God did an astonishing thing: “...and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and the man became a living soul.  (Genesis 2:7)

So mankind was created of the substance of God [in His likeness] but in another form [minus His Spirit].  However, because God inspired him with His Life, man’s appearance was that of light – God’s glory.

Humankind [Enchristed man; cherub of God] is the crown of God’s creation, fashioned of His substance and in His likeness, “...the model of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.”  This is the form of humanity who lived in the Eden of God.  He, who at the dawn of creation was clothed in the glory of Christ, “...was blameless in all his ways from the day of his creation until wickedness was found in him.”

It is the nature of all things to have an opposite, or reverse side.  This is true of every living thing, every thought, every idea, and every attitude.  It is true of God; it is true of humanity.  Carnality is the reverse of God.  Before wickedness was revealed in humankind, the carnal nature was engaged in commerce [intercourse; interposition] with his soul.  The attributes of God are indigenous to the soul of man, and the perverted form of these traits began to call out within his soul.  The whisperings of base attitudes and desires so influenced the thoughts, will and emotions of created man that he was weakened, and consequently brought to the low estate of separation from the Spirit of God.  By this time the soul and the spirit of man had been separated in the bringing forth from Adam his helpmeet, the wife, who was called Eve but must be recognized as the soul of mankind.  This facet of the human species was overtaken by the covert desires of the lower nature, and because this area is the seat of the mind, will and emotions was able to influence the human form to partake of knowledge without the Seed of Life [the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.]

Even though in his beginning man [the first Adam] was created in the likeness of God, when the carnal influence won over his soul man became an image of the father of lies rather than the exact representation of Christ.  “How you have fallen from heaven O morning star, son of the dawn!”  Early on God had warned man that if he partook of knowledge that has no life, he would surely die.  Eve [the soul] was present when God so warned Adam.  It was not until the soul [Eve] was brought out, away from the Life inspired into Adam that temptation (which had been there all along in the presence of the tree of knowledge) could not be resisted.  So the soul was grievously tempted, and succumbed to the carnal desires of the lower nature.  And the species of man died.  He suffered the death of Life in the Spirit of Christ.  And Adam and Eve were banished from ParadiseThrough your widespread trade you were filled with violence and you sinned.”  (Ezekiel 28:16“You have been cast down to the earth, you who laid low the nations.”  (Isaiah 14:12)

Here is what the Spirit has revealed concerning the trees in the Garden:  The Tree of Life is the Spirit of God, present for eternal life and knowledge in the wisdom of God.  It is a tree with seed to bring forth fruit – the independent life of Christ.  (See Genesis 1:29)  The tree of the knowledge of good and evil is the carnal nature and has no seed.  (See Genesis 2:16, 17)  It lacks independent life and cannot reproduce but it spreads like mold or mildew – under cover of darkness.  The knowledge gained from this entity has not wisdom, only logic, which satisfies the soulish area separated from the Spirit.

Through his trafficking with carnality humankind became impressed with his beauty and proud because of his splendor; his wisdom became corrupted and he said in his heart:  I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain.  I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.  (Isaiah 14:13, 14) Man sold out for a lie and was cast out of the heavenly realm for lack of Life.  Fire and a sword barred the way of return from him.

“How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn!…”  (Isaiah 14:12)

God clothed mankind with flesh, for they were naked and shamed in their loss of glory.  He supplied them with blood for they were empty, void of the Life that had sustained them.  They had become as the beasts of the field,  (“the life of the soul is in the blood”) but with the knowledge of good and evil.  God said: “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil.  He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life, and eat and live forever.”  So the LORD banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.  (Genesis 3:22, 23)

After the residents of Paradise fell from glory, God spoke to the entity of evil [which then had life, not of his own but life supplied by the now mortal man] saying: “You will crawl on your belly and you will eat the dust all the days of your life.”  The carnal nature (Satan) must feed on the soul of humanity to survive. .”I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”

It was given to her to know that her children would be in danger from the one who had overtaken her.  It became the lot of woman to bring forth children in suffering but with desire remaining for her husband, whose issue her offspring must be.  I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing; with pain you will give birth to children.”

Man’s designated assignment was that of tiller of the ground – the dust of his origin – to be done in hardship and sorrow.  “Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘you must not eat of it,’  “Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life.  It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field.  By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken, for dust you are and to dust you will return.” (Selected verses from Geneses 3:14-19)

From that time forward mankind has been plagued by sorrow but the work designed by God as the purpose of man’s earth walk began.

For creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.  (Romans 8:20, 21)

For God has bound all men over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.  (Romans 11:32)

The Lord God cursed the downfall of man and decreed that his walk apart from Him would be to no purpose.  He ordered that the function of man’s carnal nature would depend entirely upon man’s willingness to sustain it.  God’s curse was solely against the evil intent that had hissed at Eve and persuaded her into its trap.  But He further pronounced that provision for mankind would come from the soil [dust], which would yield to fallen man only what was present in the absence of the Spirit of God.  However, hope was presented in His dictum to the woman and the man, for all the structural components for righteousness are within the soul [dust].  When each individual soul is again joined to her predestined mate [man’s spirit recreated] they will bring forth the child of the Spirit who will find entry once more to Paradise.

The dilemma that befell the human race was not one of mere happenstance but was the design of God’s purpose.  It was to bring about the only way that all creation could be made forever free of the carnal intent of its reverse side.  It is man’s willingness to submit that the Lord God craves.  Of course He could have created man without the possibility of disobedience, but what kind of love would that have been in man?

God created His family in Christ as part of the only Begotten Son of the Father before the foundation of the universe.  He chose to allow man to overcome the aberration in the nature apart from God by bringing it to death through obedient submission in love for Him.

The trek that stretched out before Adam and Eve was one of incomprehensible suffering and strife.  But God could not rescue them immediately, for that would have nullified His intent.  However, He did not then hold mankind accountable for their iniquity but allowed them to reap from the field in which they sowed, and it was one of darkness.

We have already discussed ways that God revealed Himself to the human race and how he began to prepare them for the Savior as He drew out a people for His name.   The law given by Moses held the place for the entrance of Jesus, the Second Adam.  He is the exact representation of the Father, born to bring the offspring of God full circle back to Him, free of carnality.   It is by Him that mankind will accomplish what he has attempted to do in his flesh.  Christ will enable man to succeed in the realm of the everlasting and unseen and therefore, in the natural.  THE EARTH WILL YIELD ITS FRUIT!!!

In the ground of man, just as within the ground of the earth, are placed many valuable and precious deposits.  In the Garden man was adorned with these. “You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you: ruby, topaz, and emerald, chrysolite, onyx and jasper, sapphire, turquoise and beryl.  Your settings and mountings were made of gold; on the day you were created they were prepared.  You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for I ordained you.  You were on the holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones  (Ezekiel 28:13, 14)  When man bowed to the desires of the carnal nature, the precious gems lost their fire and the gold became embedded in the substance that is without Life.  The crown of God’s creation was cast out of the heavenly realm and took the future generations with him – “he laid low the nations.”

But God’s plan was moving according to His design.  He directed man to “work the ground from which he had been taken.”  The precious stones will regain their fire, the gold its intended form and entrance into Paradise will be won when the soul of man meets the sword [Word] and passes through the Fire [The presence of the Lamb].  While the recreated spirit works the ground of man’s soul, the Fruit of the Spirit is produced. [Compare to the fiery stones].

The cross of Jesus Christ is the intersection of God and man.  The vicarious sacrifice was the act of love to return the world to the Father.

1. The flesh of man [carnal nature] was cursed unto death upon the cross.

2. The mortal life of the soul [blood] was poured out.

3. The Life of the Spirit was supplied. [Water from Jesus’ side]

All that God had directed before this time was for the exact and distinct purpose of the death of Jesus in order to present the Life of Christ again in human form.  It was to the obedient remnant in the Upper Room that the Power From on High was recreated in human flesh.

Until Christ was again present in human form, the designated purpose of man in his earth-walk could not be worked out.  The deposits in human dust [soul] must gain Life and be brought forth.  The recreated spirit in man is the one who must reunite with the soul and work that soil.  The progress of this event is done in special ways and in stages.

1. Individual receives the Word of God and the human spirit is recreated.

2. The recreated spirit must woo the soul by the Life that has come.

3. The soul must be instructed and renewed by this Holy Spirit.

4. The soul will be joined again with the spirit because of the word reaching into the place of division, cutting away the flesh and bringing reunion.

5. The union of the soul and recreated spirit will bring forth New Life.

Paul wrote:  “Women will be saved through childbearing if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety.”  The souls of mankind must bring forth the divine Child, once again in human flesh.

The divine Child who has been waiting to be birthed into the world is the family of God – the ENCHRISTED remnant.  This birth is not one of the natural generation of humankind but is that of regeneration, the transformation from mortality to immortality.  It is the spiritual event that will present Christ’s body in the flesh, leaving behind the dead flesh nature.  “And he is the head of the body, the church…”  (Colossians 1:18)  Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. (1 Corinthians 12:27)

The chromosomes of God sown in the ground [dust, soul, womb] of humankind at the time of creation are the ovum for His family and must be brought to Life by the Spirit of Christ [Sperm].  As the recreated spirit works within the soul the attributes of God begin to take form in the individual.  The Living Word grows and must be nurtured by its surroundings.  All within the soul, which holds this New Life, must be of the Spirit.  If the individual is faithful in this, by the time the incubation period is completed the supernatural birth will occur.

Satan [carnal nature] nags the walk of man in the world, for he knows his life is limited. There must be no place given to the carnal nature in the area of man’s thoughts, his desires or emotions.  The carnal nature must not be allowed to influence the actions of the race of man.  As the soul grows in the strength of Christ the new creation within will cause a fire to rise, consuming the old nature and reducing it to ashes on the floor of the soul.  Then it will be said: Is this the man who shook the earth and made kingdoms tremble, the man who made the world a desert, who overthrew its cities and would not let his captives go home?”   (Isaiah 14:16, 17)

“When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true:  ‘Death has been swallowed up in victory.’”   (I Corinthians 15:54)

This, then, is the purpose of man’s completed earth-walk:  Man recreated and restored to the realm of Heaven, bringing all creation with him – “for heaven and earth have become one.”  There is no longer a reverse to man or God because man has denied Satan by the Strength and Life of Christ.  There is no more death for it has been swallowed up by Life.

He said to me:  ‘it is done.  I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End.  To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life.  He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son.’”  (Revelation 21:6, 7)

…”Reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining in the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”  (Ephesians 4: 13)

The challenge to the human race is to live by LIFE.  This is the reason that Christ Jesus came to us, that we might have life and have it to the full.

This LIFE is a gift that must be worked out by every individual.  It brings freedom from the guilt of sin and assurance of eternal life – but not these alone.  LIFE was brought into the world to reverse the curse upon mankind. It is not something one gains through the ritual of baptism, although that is an integral part.  The LIFE that Jesus died to give is Christ – the LIFE of the family of God.

Now if we are (God’s) children, then we are heirs – heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.”  (Romans 8:17)

The two things that we need to understand are our part in the suffering of Christ, and what His glory means to us.  It is most difficult, if not impossible for our finite minds to grasp what it means to “inherit with Christ.”  But as our understanding is enlightened concerning “sufferings” and “glory” our Kingdom inheritance will also be revealed.

Paul knew that the afflictions of sin, which are common to the human race, presented the necessity of Christ’s crucifixion, and had to be finished [overcome and ended] in his flesh so that he might press on toward the prize of the high calling.  It is the same for everyone who would reach for the goal of being clothed in the nature and character of God, which is His glory.

“Then Jesus said to his disciples, ‘If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.’”  (Matthew 16:24)

To experience the LIFE that Christ Jesus brought to the world we must experience the death that Jesus suffered, which is of the flesh.  We must daily crucify the fleshly imaginations, attitudes, desires and emotions that abide in the will of the soul.  This is how we “finish in our flesh the afflictions of Christ.”  It needs to be understood that it is not by one’s own will or effort that this may be accomplished.  No, only as the individual’s soul is captured and submitted to the recreated spirit may this come about.  So each person must suffer the death of what Jesus overcame – the death of the flesh nature.  We must yield our fleshly ways to the finished work of the cross of Christ.  Let everything outside of the perfect will and purpose of God be nailed to that tree.  It is not for each one to decide what belongs there but for the Spirit of Christ within to eliminate every worldly cause.

As this goal is being met, Christ is rising in each individual part of His temple so that all together they might be glorified.  When Christ becomes the energy of LIFE in an individual He will be seen, and that person will be seen with Him in the glory of God.

“Come; let us return to the LORD.  He has torn us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds.  After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us.”  (Hosea 6:2)

“...I will drive out demons and heal people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.”  (Luke 13:32)

The Lord has a set goal for His elect, and it is to bring forth a people fully conformed to His nature and standing in righteousness – His family in Christ, restored and appearing in His glory.  To as many as received Him, he gave power to become the children of God and if children, then heirs with Christ.”  Christ is the hope of our salvation and the indwelling of His Spirit causes us to have faith, “as we eagerly await the adoption as sons – for; those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.”

We must make it our goal to please Him.  A soul that is sanctified [set aside for a special work] is on the road to glory, submitted to Christ for the work of purification as Christ is formed within.  “Those he justifies, those he also glorifies.”

We need to cry out along with Paul:  I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.  …I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.  …Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”  (Philippians 3:10-14)  When the sons of God have reached this mountain top, each will know the zenith of the goal upon which they have set their sight – the prize of the high calling.  Christ has become the life’s breath of the elect.

“Do not let your hearts be troubled.  Trust in God; trust also in me.  In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you.  I am going there to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.  You know the way to the place where I am going.”  (John 14:1-4;)

Now, allow the Wisdom of the Spirit of Truth lead you into all truth, for this is what Jesus promised He would do.  “I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear.  But when he, the Spirit of Truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth.  He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.  He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you.  All that belongs to the Father is mine.  That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you.(John 16:12-15)

Christ was born into the world through the flesh of a woman because mankind’s spirit was dead.  The only way that fellowship could be restored between God and man was to have the Spirit of God returned and the flesh nature dead.  However, God could not kill the old nature of mankind until He had presented New Life – Christ, who is God.   So God sent His only begotten Son, [Christ] to take on the flesh of mankind – born into the world in the body He had prepared for Him, [Jesus].  He was so born to do God’s will.  Jesus Christ was born to die.  Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said:  ‘Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me; with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased.  Then I said, ‘Here I am – it is written about me in the scroll;- I have come to do your will O God.’” (Hebrews 10:5-7)  And in dying, to vicariously bring death to the flesh nature of all mankind while presenting the Life force of the Spirit of Christ into the world – to be received by means of recreation.

Before His crucifixion Jesus Christ sat with His disciples to explain what was going to happen and as far as was possible, what it would mean to them.  (See John 14: 15-17)  He was so tender and aware of their plight – speaking in a way to prepare them, yet to not unduly distress them – meeting them in the place of their understanding.  There was much more that Jesus desired to tell His disciples but they could not hear it, for the spirit reborn from above had not yet renewed their minds.

What He longed to tell them were not words to be translated into the vernacular of the world.  Rather, they were words to be spoken directly into souls who are captured into recreated spirits of faithful ones being made perfect.  The words Jesus spoke were to be fully revealed at a later time.

When Jesus Christ said that He was going to the Father He was indicating that His Soul and Spirit were one, (I and the Father are one) and that upon the completion of His work He was returning to the state of the unseen – the realm of Heaven where the Father abides.  Christ Jesus wanted them to understand that because He was flesh and Spirit, what He was doing was for them and for all generations.

Jesus said that He was going to prepare the many rooms of His Father’s house so that His elect might be where He is.  These rooms are the souls of every individual who will receive Christ as Lord of their house and King of their land.  It was impossible for these places of the heart to be prepared without the presence of the Holy Spirit within, and the Spirit of God could not indwell until Christ Jesus went to the Father to be glorified again in the realm of the unseen.   It was needful for Him to be made the physical example of all that God is before He could cause each redeemed soul to become the spiritual example of the same.

Saying that He was the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE, He promised that because He was going to prepare the place for His own, He would return to each one so that they could be with Him.  His return was by way of the Holy Spirit, distinguished first in fire and power in the upper room, and from that time forward within every person who will give Him entrance.

Read John 14:12-19.

Because Jesus Christ went to the Father, the way is open for all who receive Him to live on a higher plane.  Because there are many joined in Christ’s LIFE, the greater things will be done.  We LIVE because of His LIFE.  All else is bound to death.  In going He opened the way.  By returning in Spirit He prepares the rooms of the Father’s house.  Because He remains, His throne is established.

Now we look forward to Christ once more appearing in human form – returning in His body of many members.  This time His entrance is through recreated spirits for the flesh [carnal nature] is dead.  He will be seen in the reunion of the elect.

Jesus said to them, ‘I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.  Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.’”  (John 6: 53, 54)

Do you not know that what we partake of we become?  Our sustenance comes not only by food and drink but also by what feeds the soul.

“For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.  Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.  Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me.  This is the bread that came down from heaven.  Your forefathers ate manna and died, but he who feeds on this bread will live forever.”  (John 6:55-58)

We must fully partake of Christ until He becomes our LIFE.   His nature and character must be allowed to overtake all that we are so that we may become all that He is.  The preparation that one must undergo before going with Christ to the Father is a mighty undertaking.  In no sense can flesh and blood inherit the Kingdom of God.  Everything that we are in this earthly sphere must be transformed.  It is not that God arbitrarily rejects us, but rather because it is impossible for anything less than holy righteousness to dwell with God.  We already know that He comes to us and receives us just as we are.  We know that He loves every person – sinner and saint, it matters not.  Still, unrighteousness cannot stand in His presence.  It is consumed in the holiness that is God.  Before we can enter once again into the presence of the Father we must be prepared, lest the fire of Him would consume us.  The only way is in the Son.  This is why Christ Jesus came – to prepare the children for the Heavenly Realm.

During the time from the ascension of Christ Jesus to this Day, many incomplete Christians have been received into the Heavenly Realm.  They have entered in the Name of Jesus and the imputed righteousness that is Christ’s.  What I am referring to now is the final phase of development that must occur to see the Kingdom established in earth.

It is a real work that must be done – not lip service, not rituals and not by good deeds.  THIS IS NOT SOMETHING THAT COMES BY OBEDIENCE TO THE WRITTEN WORD.   It is not walking by the Spirit.  This work can by done by God alone, and must it be in a yielded vessel – one who has come to the rest remaining.

Jesus said that on the last day He would raise up whoever would eat His flesh and drink His blood.  Let us understand this: if we partake of His Life He will raise us upTo partake of His Life is to receive Him in, to welcome His presence and allow Him to rearrange and expand the place where He abides until it fits His requirements.  The rearranging that He does may not seem too comfortable at first.  The expanding of His domain may hurt in the natural.  He will strip us of religion.  He will clear away fleshly desires.  He will wash away self-will, and we will begin to reflect Him.  Still, this is not the final phase.  If we will continue on to know the Lord we will behold Him face to face.  He will replace the furnishings of our house with His throne, and then He will burn the debris of remembrance of our sinful past.  It is then that we shall radiate His love and be the representation of His glory.

Jesus said that the Father had given the Son LIFE unto Himself.  This is the Christ Life of our recreated spirits who God wants to be the LIFE FORCE of our being.  It is not that we are to become “clones of God” but rather persons who radiate God’s love.  He wants us to become the same as Jesus – resurrected and moving on to glory.

As the Spirit of Christ is recreated and united with the retrained soul within each person they are in union with one another in the Son – one in the Son yet individual, precious in His sight.

Christ Jesus will rise in individuals and He will raise them up.

“…You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be witnesses in Jerusalem, and in Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.

They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them.  “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky?  This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”  (Acts 1:8-11.  Emphasis mine, BJS)

How did Jesus Christ depart?

He left rising and hidden in the clouds.  The angelic beings said that He would return the same way.

Now, let the Spirit of Truth lead you into understanding.  Identify the clouds.

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”  (Hebrews 12:1)

“Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him.”

So shall it be! Amen!  (Revelation 1:7)

The clouds are those who are witnesses to the testimony of Christ Jesus and they are to be revealed at the time of “setting things right.”  (See Hebrews 12:1 and Revelation 11:3)

When Jesus was arrested and being questioned, He told the high priest that from that time forward He would be sitting on His throne and coming in the clouds.  Often in the Scriptures of the Old Testament God is pictured as speaking from the clouds.  When Jesus was transfigured in the sight of Peter, James and John once again He spoke from a cloud to tell the little flock to henceforth listen to the Son.  Since the time of the Spirit of Christ’s return to indwell He has been speaking the testimony of Jesus into and through the clouds of witnesses.

The word “rapture” does not appear in the Bible.  It is man’s definition of the promise that Jesus made to raise us up on the last day.  The promised rising is Christ’s Spirit raising up our inner man until Christ becomes the Life of our being.  Then He will APPEAR, and we will be seen with Him in the glory that is His.

Christ Jesus returns by the Holy Spirit to raise up His body, to heal their wounds and bring them together.   His appearing shall be in all of the holy ones who are dead to the way of the world and ENCHRISTED [dead to the world in Christ; filled with His LIFE].  As He rises within each soul by means of the recreated spirit, He is causing them to rise, spiritually speaking.  These elect do not literally leave the sphere of the earth but are elevated in righteousness, for they have met the measure of the standard of the ascended Jesus.

When judgment comes to the earth the people of the world will learn righteousness.  The elect are at this time present in Christ.  Although He has been hidden in them, He shall be revealed with them as the standard of righteousness that will judge the world.

The Lord’s hand is lifted high, and this is the height that must be reached by all.  His zeal for righteousness will not be altered.  Every form that is not of His substance will be shaken; every spirit and item will be consumed/changed in the presence of His righteous holiness.

Jesus said, My command is this:  Love each other as I have loved you.  Greater love has no one than this that he lay down his life for his friends.  You are my friends if you do what I command.”  (John 15:12, 13)

Paul advised, Let no debt remain outstanding except the continuing debt to love one another  (Romans 13:8)

Then Peter directed, Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart.  (1 Peter 1:22)

Jesus Christ brought LIFE into the world to reverse the curse upon mankind, and this endeavor shall be completed by love.

The human race must conform to Christ’s commandment to love but it will not happen by enforcing man’s laws or by good intentions.  The change will come only by Christ’s Spirit spread abroad in hearts.  The world will come into the Kingdom of God because of LOVE.

As the prepared elect of the Company of Love advance upon the world, the fullness of the power of the Living Christ will be experienced.  This movement is one of great magnitude and will cause all to be joined in the love of God or to fall.  No weapons will be drawn; no threats will be made. The power of LOVE will simply overtake, for no man is able to stand against it.

The love of God is not an emotion in mankind but a transformation.  It is pure and without need for reciprocation, yet, it is reciprocated in kind, for it develops in the heart of one who receives it.

Consider Paul’s words to the Romans:

We rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance, character; and character hope.  And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.”  (Romans 5:4, 5; Emphasis mine, BJS)

Again, to the Corinthians:

Love never fails.

It is no accident that love is the first fruit named among the fruit of the Spirit, because it is LOVE that develops all of the attributes of Christ within the soul captured in a recreated spirit.

How do we initiate the move of LOVE?  We do not.  We cannot.  Ours is to surrender COMPLETELY to Christ.  SURRENDER TO CHRIST!  This is not to yield to any other faction; it is not passivity to evil.  It is super-human strength.  LOVE is God.  Love is the last hope left to mankind to overcome the way of the world.  Love is the mortar of the structure that God is building of living stones, and the only way ever presented that can succeed in bringing heaven and earth together.

It is written: “’Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit’,” says the Lord Almighty.”

“…To whom did God swear that they would never enter his rest if not to those who disobeyed?  So we see that they were not able to enter, because of their unbelief ABIDING.”  (Hebrews 3:18, 19)

“Since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it.  For we also have had the gospel preached to us, just as they [the Hebrew children] did; but the message they heard was of no value to them because those who heard did not combine it with faith.  Now we who have believed enter that rest, just as God has said, “So I declared on oath in my anger, ‘they shall never enter my rest.'”

“And yet his work has been finished since the creation of the world.  For somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day in these words:  “And on the seventh day God rested from all his work.”  And again in the passage above he says, “They shall not enter my rest.”

“It still remains that some will enter that rest, and those who formerly had the gospel preached did not go in, because of their disobedience.  Therefore God again set a certain day, calling it today, when a long time later he spoke through David, as was said before: Today, if you hear his voice do not harden your hearts.”

For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day.

There remains, then, a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his.”  (Hebrews 4:1-10)

For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day.  Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath and called it holy.” (Exodus 20:11)

The Hebrew children were not able to combine the words that the LORD spoke to them with faith because they did not have the Enabling Spirit of God within, and work without faith has no power.  Those who were led by God’s Spirit in those days were so led because of an anointing.

The move that the Lord has at hand for the church will be done in His glorified body.  Many attempts have been made by Christians to become the bride of Christ and thus, to be in union with Him.  But this body has been a wounded, disjointed people striving hard and long to accomplish what can be done by God alone for those who enter His rest.

The Body of the resurrected Jesus was sorely wounded, but the body of the resurrected dead in Christ shall be healed and “fitly joined together.”  As well as being the tangible form of His triumph over death, the resurrected, wounded body of Jesus was typical of the church.  The bruised and pierced body of Jesus presented the church’s need to be healed and joined together.  The healing of His congruent body is the work that Jesus had in mind when He said that He would prepare a place for His elect to be where He is.

Christ has to have a body. He cannot do it alone; He cannot do it in parts.  The ascension of Christ Jesus into the Bosom of the Father typified what must occur in the resurrected church.  This body must also abide in the Bosom of the Father until it has become one in the Son.  His body has no strength while it is divided but together they will be made perfect.

The Bosom of the Father is the place to be entered by His called-out ones who have found the path that leads to the narrow gate.

“Enter through the narrow gate.  For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.  But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”  (Matthew 7:13)

Those who have worked out their salvation with fear and trembling and caused Christ’s afflictions to be finished in their flesh, are found to have clean hands and a pure heart and are called to Zion.  They have not fallen short of the promise but are prepared for the rest remaining.

When one enters the Bosom of God the in-part walk by the spirit is ended.  No more will communication be that of transcribing from the recreated spirit to the soul.  All knowledge and direction is inscribed directly into the obedient soul.  All that is done will be by love radiating out.

Paul aptly described this transition in the thirteenth chapter of First Corinthians:

“Love never fails.  But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.  For we know in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears.  When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child.  When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me.  Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face.  Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am known.   And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.  But the greatest of these is love.

The outward appearance and the life of those set aside in this place of solitude are nondescript.  They are little noticed or known by the community of Christians; they are not understood by believers and are ignored by the world.  They have entered a cocoon to emerge as a butterfly.  The transformation will just occur.  Interaction with others for one who has entered the inner sanctuary is limited.   The camaraderie of sameness is only with the “little flock.”

Only the Son may make entrance into this Holiest Place.  The gate is the Prince and those entering or leaving must be in Him.  The elect are clothed in righteousness, for in the Son is the only way one may approach the Father for purification.  They take nothing with them from the world.  All they receive comes from the Father.  They have ceased to strive; God is their provision – their only inheritance.

When one has entered the rest remaining to abide in the Bosom of the Father, he has met the requirements of the cross.  His flesh is dead and buried, he sees things from an eternal perspective, and the world no longer threatens him.  Every person is in his own room with the Father – no other can minister in this place.  It is a relationship with the Artisan, the Master Craftsman whose touch will bring the final desired effect.  There is no rush of excitement, no grand impetus to move – only a sense of calm, and of remaining.  The attitude is that of great peace; the door is closed to everything that could steal it away.  When one is so secreted away, the world is not aware – no one knows.  Only others of their ilk could understand.

Nothing from the inner sanctuary can be taken out to the world.  The treasure lies in the relationship with the Father and cannot be shared.  Only face to face in this secret place may it be held.  If one goes out, the treasures remain behind.  One is not forbidden to speak of the wonder of the Light that has come to him but those who have not had the veil of confusion removed cannot understand or receive it. There is an altar from which those who minister at the tabernacle have no right to eat.”  (Hebrews 13:10)

Let us understand that this does not mean that the called-out ones bodily leave the world to be shut up with God.  It means they become mature enough to abide in Him, although their natural life continues on.  They go on with the work of their vocation but they know that the Lord is their supply.  Their desire is completely for Him, yet they still love and care for their families and remain in friendships.  They are in constant communion with the Father but not physically on their knees.  They lift up their heads and laugh when the antics of the world try to invade their peace.  Their battle between good and evil is over – the war is won.  They are becoming over-comers of the highest form.

The ones who enter in to partake from the table of the Lord shall emerge as priests of the order of Melchizedek, King of Peace.  The LIFE of their experience has no beginning or end and the world knows not from whence they come.  There is no genealogy of the ancestry of their family to be traced on earth.  They have made their holocaust offering under the auspices of the Priest/King Jesus.  The time of their uncovering is approaching, to be seen as Christ is seen, and every eye shall behold Him.  They are the Living Word that shall go out to the world from the heart of the Father.  They inherit with Christ, not as children but as mature sons.  They become His inheritance and He is theirs.

Those who are to serve in the office of priest have been fully served by Almighty God.  He has brought them every step of the way by the whole ministry of the Word of God applied.  All that has appeared as types and shadows take form in their souls and Christ is seen, for the standard of Jesus is met in them.

When this mature stature is gained it will be apparent that the cords of justice have bound the world.  Although all things have been set in place in the unseen/heavenly realm, righteousness has not yet claimed the world.  Those with a vision for the reign of righteousness will overcome evil because of the whole work of the cross and the testimony that they bear.

All Christ is, He is within us – hope of glory, image of God.  Are you aware of this glorious prize?  Christ became all that we are so that we might become as He is.  There is no humble shack waiting in Heaven for the redeemed of God.  The Father of the human race is King of the Universe and He intends to share the wealth of His glory with His offspring.  The wealth of God is much more than our jaded eyes may see.  The inheritance of Christ has nothing to do with the earthly wealth of this fallen place.  This realm is but the opportunity presented to overcome the adversary who snared mankind so long ago.  The purpose of the human life of mortal man is neither to make a mark in the world nor to accumulate wealth.  It is not even for the purpose of good deeds.  Man’s only purpose is to refute the lies of carnality – to refuse the “promise of stealth” and cling to Christ.

Jesus came to release humanity from the power of evil – there is now no power in that mode, only fear.  The human race has been set free from the bondage to sin, but not everyone has taken hold of the benefit of it.  In this world you will have trouble but rejoice, for I have over come the world.”

Although Jesus taught that we should share our earthly goods with the poor, give to the ministry of one preaching the word and to assemble together with believers, if you merely keep the rules of the Sermon on the Mount and the Ten Commandments, you have only found the road that is wide.  Jesus said to find the narrow path.  Of course we are to love one another, but deeply, from the heart.  The Fruit of the Spirit supersedes the Ten Commandments, and abiding in the Bosom of the Father is greater than the hypocrisy of the churches.

The time is now to be in earnest about Jesus Christ.  He suffered the cross, and until each individual shares in His suffering, he has not gained the promised inheritance.  Everyone will meet Christ, and His presence is FIRE.  Unless your life is built upon the foundation, which He is, all that you have built will be consumed.  Do not think that when one says, “in the name of Jesus,” that prayer or work is necessarily blessed – instead you may have blasphemed His name.  To take the Name of Jesus to the Lord God is to come to the Father as Jesus did – in humble submission.

Christians have often misunderstood salvation.  It is not merely a ritual and a promise – it is a renewal of LIFE.  And unless it is received as such, one has not gained what he hopes for.  Jesus Christ turned the tide; He did the work – the war is won.  Why is humankind still fighting the battle?  Because the rescue from carnality has not been realized in the world – it has not been grasped.

Perhaps the Christian community has done all they are able to do until the present time.  The Father has always worked with a “little flock,” and the called-out ones from every generation are those with whom He has been working in the ages past.  They are the elect who have been birthed throughout the generations, making the way for the final stage when the feet of the body of Christ shall appear, causing this body to stand.  The last generation of this body has already been born who will be allowed to walk in sin.  Now is the time for the circumspect behavior of the Son.  Blessed are the dead who die in Christ from now on.  (Revelation 14:13)  The old man of the flesh has dreamed dreams but the young man of this generation has a vision.  This is the Day, and now is the Hour for the appearing of His form.

The body has grown in the womb of God to be brought forth as the emissary of Christ.  They are the manifested family of God sent into the world as justice to bring righteousness in mankind.  The signs of the blood, fire and smoke have borne witness, first in the feasts – Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles, and then in the testimony of the Cross, the Spirit, and the holocaust offering of the saints of the body.  Their embattlement is faith and love made one in TRUTH. This company of love is descried in Joel.

Let us pause here to remember the Christmas story:  Faith and Love come down in the form of human flesh in the Babe in the manger.  Oh, how we love the story!  Angels herald His birth, a bright star to guide the shepherds and wise men to the place where He lay – Baby Jesus meek and mild, born on earth to save all men from sin.  We sing the songs and worship that Christ child!  We buy gifts and spread the cheer.  We have made a pageant of the magnificent thing that occurred.  It has become a ministry to the flesh of mankind.  The Lord will not present Christ in human flesh with such fanfare again.

The appearance of Christ among mankind shall be of man’s kind.  Born through the souls of those whose flesh nature is dead.  Present in human form in the glory of God, not come down but risen up as Jesus promised.  This phenomenon will precipitate the decisions of the Valley of Jehosaphat.  (Please understand that Joel’s account of Christ’s army sweeping across the nations is written in poetic form.  It is relating to mankind the circumstances surrounding the change of the rule of the world.)  Righteousness shall overcome the world, and the power of this move is awesome.  Truth will permeate our atmosphere – just as previously the noxious lies of carnality have been the pervading influence of the earth.  The force of this change is unseen but the result of its presence will be witnessed in the entire world.  The harvest of the Lord will hold the supply for all mankind.

The plantings of the Lord have sprung up bringing joy and pleasure to the heart of the Father.   The Seed of the Tree of Life, which He planted in the souls of the elect, has been fertilized by the dead flesh nature; nourished by the Living Water and abundantly increased in the Light of the Almighty.  The branches bear the Fruit of the Spirit in a constant yielding of their crop.  “And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.”  (Revelation 22:2)  Just as photosynthesis changes carbon dioxide to carbohydrates for the nourishment of plant life and releases oxygen as a by-product, the Lord’s plantings will purify the atmosphere surrounding mortal man.  The by-product of their nourishment will be Love and Truth radiating out.  As it takes form in thoughts, words and deeds, healing will come to the nations.   The world will see the Christ/man, not as a supernatural appearance in the sky but in the new creature that walks.

“Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!  How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out!

“Who has known the mind of the Lord?  Or who has been his counselor?  Who has ever given to God, that God should repay him?

“For from him and through him and to him are all things.  To him be the glory forever!

“Amen.  (Romans 11:33-36)

God brings forth all things by His Word of Power.  He speaks of things that are not as though they were, and He forms things that are visible from things that are not seen.  The Word positioned all things to be experienced by mankind in obedience to what was created.  Thus, the Ages were planned in the beginning.

“He is faithful even when we are not.

God is sovereign and has responsibility over what He has wrought.  He rules in human affairs even though He is rebelled against and rejected by many.   It was not the creature’s plan to fall from LIFE, rather, the fall of man was to bring about the fulfillment of the perfect plan and purpose of God for humankind.  Mankind was subjected to frailty in the knowledge that all creation would be liberated from the darkness of the perversion existing apart from God’s Spirit.  That area shall be no more.

“‘For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,’ declares the LORD.  ‘As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.’”  (Isaiah 55:8-10)

God moves according to His Word.  Because all things came out of God, He is responsible for the survival and continuance of all creation unto the time of perfection.  The universe is dependent upon Him for its existence, and by His grace the whole world is blessed as it is kept in His promise of seedtime and harvest, day and night and the sun and rain to fall on the just and the unjust.  He allows the fertile and the fallow to remain; the tares and the wheat to grow together – but He is blessing His seed crop in a special way.

“He has made everything beautiful in its time.  He also has planted eternity in men’s hearts and minds [a divinely implanted sense of a purpose working through the ages which nothing under the sun but God alone can satisfy], yet man cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.”   (Ecclesiastes 3:11, Amplified Bible)

When God created man He inspired him with the vision of His plan and blessed him unto the fulfilling of it.  Before Eve was brought forth from Adam, God spoke these words to the one created in His image to bless the whole race of man.

BE FRUITFUL.   The Lord so charged mankind to produce according to the Seed that is planted within him.  The plantings of the Lord must bear the Fruit of the Spirit, which is provision for the walk of triumph.

INCREASE IN NUMBER.   With these words the Lord was calling for a many-membered body for His Son.

FILL THE EARTH.   Let the whole earth be filled with God’s glory as mankind responds to the Spirit and is raised up in the image of the Second Adam.

SUBDUE THE EARTH.   This commission was vicariously given to the human race through Adam by God, to bring all that is in the earth into compliance with the Word of Creation.  Wield the Word as a sword!  Cut away the flesh until the place of division between the soul and spirit is found and rejoined.  Let the enemy fall in his blood.

RULE OVER ALL CREATURES.   Mankind without the Spirit of God became as the beasts of the field – mortal, their life resting in the blood.  These creatures of the flesh must be over-ruled by the Spirit born from above, gaining them entry into Paradise once again.

EAT OF THE SEED BEARING PLANTS AND THE TREE BEARING FRUIT WITH SEED.    The plants of the fields have reproduced but have borne no seeds.  Only the plants that the Lord provides yield seed for another crop.  The Lord has planted this seed in scattered places to bring forth the crop for the Harvest of the Lord.  The seed was placed within man in the beginning but he failed to fully partake of it.

All things whether in the earth, in heaven above or in the world beneath, are working toward the fulfillment of God’s perfect plan and purpose.  Man, even in his rebellious ways cannot stop the fruition of what God has set in motion.

God is eternal and it is into this realm that He is drawing His creation.  Nothing that is not of that sphere will survive.  God has established a circle for the fixed purpose, “to restrain transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness,” and time has presented the events to accomplish these.  Still there remains in God’s circle the design “to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy.”  Each purpose has its appointed fulfillment, whether in a fixed period or in the occurring of each event.  The turning of events advances the wheel of progress, and man moves toward the hub.  In this center time will cease in accord with the fulfilling of God’s design.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.  For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.   And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.”  (Romans 8:28-30)

“What if God, choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath – prepared for destruction?  What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy whom he prepared in advance for glory – even us, whom he also called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?”  (Romans 9:22, 23)

Because God is sovereign, in all things He works toward perfecting the saints and closing this age.  He has patiently endured the lower nature of the many in order to bring the many to glory.  Let us consider the awesome intent of this thought.

Who are the objects of God’s mercy?

The human race – the redeemed of the earth.  This includes the redeemed of the earth that have not yet been restored.

Who are the objects of God’s wrath?

Every part and particle that forms the strength of carnality.

Why does God endure that evil intent?

For the purpose of raising up a body for His name.  We were all born from the seed of man and therefore imbued with the nature of the object of God’s wrath.  God endures the object of His wrath until the righteousness of God is formed in mankind.

Every action that is spawned by the lower nature has the ultimate goal of preventing the appearing of eternal man.  When the new creation is walking upon the earth the lower nature will be no more.  The intent of the lower nature is to make mortal man believe that he is sufficient for the supply of his own needs without the benefit of Christ, and that premise extends even to helping one another by “good works.”

When the Day of the Lord arrives and His wrath is released to strike against the sin of the world, everything that is not of Him will be shaken.  Unregenerate man will tremble and seek shelter from the fury of righteousness.  The wrath of God will be manifested in ways that will strike the very core of the world that we now know.  It is not that the foundation of the universe will give away, rather it will be the things that mankind has depended upon for their survival that will be struck.  The body of Christ will present the answer and the turning point for desolate souls.  They are the comptrollers to direct the flow of mankind to the Source of Life, for the standard they raise is righteousness.  Until this body stands, although grace has been shown to the wicked, they cannot learn righteousness.  But when judgment comes into the earth by means of the standard that all will see, the world will learn righteousness.  Man apart from God has no shelter from the fire of His fury, and because His purpose is the redeemed of the earth, pending the sealing of the saints God allows carnality to roam.

Understand that carnality is innate within every person.   From the time of man’s exodus from Paradise to the present, the fallen character is the beginning place that Christ has to work with in each individual.  The inherent intent within every child is “self.”  Although he may be taught “goodness,” righteousness will be gained only in Christ.

Every child inherits the lower nature but within that nature are the attributes of God waiting to be intensified by His Spirit.  Until this Spirit is received by means of recreation, the person continuously seeks to fulfill the longing of carnality within his soul.  The true needs of humanity are perverted by the greed within, and trickery supplants God’s supply, which is eternal, with what is transient and bound to death.   While the soul [mind, will, emotions – man’s dust] seeks to satisfy the lower nature the serpent is fed, and the ground of man remains cursed.

Pride, lust and greed, when given freedom to control, know no sufficiency.  While human nature attempts to quiet the longings that rise in the soul by appeasing them, the carnal influence demands more.  The desires become more demeaning; become more intense until the cravings consume the very dust that has fed them.  When the soul of a man has been thus required by darkness, truly hell has broken loose.

However, greed within man is a shallow entity.  The intelligence of this thrust may be high but wisdom is lacking.  Carnality will meet its downfall.  This entity will tempt, perversely use and wound mankind until the advent of Christ’s image met in the saints.  Then Satan’s food will be removed.

God has set a time that will not be extended for the end of the world system, which the beast, the dragon and the image of the beast have controlled.  [The beast is carnal influence; the dragon is carnality itself and image of the beast represents humans moving by the influence of carnality.]

Within mankind the attributes of God are present for the purpose of eternal life, and this purpose is about to find its fulfillment.  Although they may not yet be recognized, the holy ones of God are present, breathing out the Breath that sustains them, and the atmosphere surrounding mankind will be changed.  This change from the noxious fumes of the prince-of-the-power-of-the-air to the righteousness of God will present impetus to the souls of humanity who have been wrongly used, and they will rebel.  The deceit of the low nature will no longer be able to repress truth, and the prisoners of the network of lies will escape from darkness.  The saints are ready to reign with Christ to fully establish the union of heaven and earth.

God is sovereign even where carnality rules.  His way is past finding out by the people of the world, “but he reveals his plans to his servants the prophets.”

The Unquenchable Fire

“I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire (From Ezekiel’s vision of the glory of God; Ezekiel 1:27)

God has withheld His judgment against sin, for until the body of His appearing is prepared, no one can survive that test.

“…God is a consuming fire.”  (Hebrews 12:29)

The flame of His righteousness will consume all that does not aspire from Him and toward Him.  As we understand without any doubt or confusion that God is the Sole Authority of the universe, we must also acknowledge that God is the Eternal Flame.

“…Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal flame prepared for the devil and his angels.”  (Matthew 25:41)

$$All fire begins with God.  He is the Authority of the fires that burn to bring forth the pure silver and gold and to form the jewels of the Kingdom.  His is the flame that consumes iniquity. “…’Is not my word like a fire?’ declares the Lord.” Because of the cross of Christ, grace has been extended and the world protected from the flame of His wrath until the time of restoration.  Christ Jesus freed the fire of His Spirit upon the earth to prepare the righteous for the heavenly realm.  Before Pentecost God’s fire could only be feared in the expectation of meeting the fire of hell after death.  Jesus presented the flame to burn in the souls of earth bound-man.  “…I have come to bring fire on the earth.”

His earth walk was preparation for Christ Jesus was assigned the cross to bring the world back to the Father.  It was not a thing that He did a little at a time but a complete work accomplished at the Place of the Skull.  He opened Himself and the world for the moment of the cross.  What transpired there affects very person born – before or after the cross.  It reaches across all generations and principalities to return mankind, free of the tempter, to God.

The world is saved through the cross of Jesus Christ.  It is what Christ Jesus did.  He is the hero of the world.  Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He is Lord, and people will pass through the veil torn for them but they will meet the fire of God before they do.  Mankind’s free choice has a limit.  He is free to choose how he lives in the earth.  He is free to choose what god he worships – or if he worships none.  But his freedom ends with his breath.  He will return to the Father. Without Christ he will first know the darkness and loneliness of the torment of the pit, and then the fire.  “…for if I make my bed in hell, you are there...” Without Christ nothing in unregenerate man could withstand the Flame that he is sure to meet.  The Father God placed the Flaming Sword [The Living Word; Christ] at the entrance of Paradise, and it is there [through Christ] that everyone must enter.

Jesus’ flesh nailed to the cross was a vicarious action, cursing the carnal nature to death for every person.  The pouring out of His blood was the vicarious act of eliminating the support system for the flesh nature, the mortal body.  The flow of water from Jesus’ side presented, symbolically, the Spirit of Christ for all.  Jesus Christ did all of this but carnality was not at that time subjected to the Flame.  It was bound to death but not extinguished.  The recreated spirit must individually douse the unauthorized fire of this entity, and then meet the flame reserved for the purpose of consuming evil.  “…He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.”  (Luke 3:16)

The Spirit of Christ sets the fire in one’s life for the purpose of bringing Eternal Life and for the transformation of the soul.  The Word of God becomes a messenger of fire to one yielded to the Spirit of the Lord for transformation.  It convicts one of sin, and replaces the passion of the world with the passion for obedience to Truth.  The Word blazes within to chastise, teach, develop pure love and train the soul.  As this Flame works out the changes in the human nature the mind is renewed, and the soul learns submission to the recreated spirit.

The work that Jesus Christ did on the cross took care of the separation of man from God due to the absence of the Spirit.  He bound carnality to death by causing it to be cursed at the cross.  It is every person’s responsibility to accept the Spirit that has been given, and to allow the death of his carnal nature to come by refusing to feed it.  This is the reason for mankind’s earth walk – to trample under evil intent until the Holy Spirit transforms him.  Once a soul has been born into a human body it is on its way back to the Father.  One’s soul is an altar and our High Priest Christ Jesus has set the fire upon it.  The flame is for the purpose of offering up a living sacrifice to the God of the Universe.  This is our reasonable act of worship.  One whose altar holds no fire is dead, and his soul is a sacrifice to the father of darkness.

The sacrifice of Jesus Christ sent all the plans, desires, thoughts and actions of the carnal intent to the trash heap of Gehenna.  When one retrieves a thing from that place for implementation in his life he is “playing with fire.”  God sets the fires – man makes the choices.  The fires of Gehenna are for the purpose of consuming evil.  Why would one want to handle what is intended for ruin?

Unauthorized fire

The soul without the benefit of the recreated spirit is lost in a world that is ruled by the perverted mind of carnality.  It is unprotected and subjected to the desires of the death-bound human form.  It is at the mercy of the wiles of a mind operating only with logical knowledge – without wisdom.

The primary intent of the human soul is survival, and all it has to cling to is the mortal life of flesh and blood.  Everything in the unregenerate life is bound to the sense realm, so this is what the soul will serve.  But sad to say, the sense realm that was created for the benefit of mortal man has been warped by greed, lust and pride – the very things that Jesus Christ sent to the fire of hell.

It seems strange that the world is ruled by greed, lust and pride.  The things that Jesus Christ sent to the trash heap of Gehenna still plague the human race.  This does not mean that His sacrifice was insufficient or that God’s plan is not working.  It simply means that the world has not yet seen fit to walk in the salvation that has been won for all.  Thoughts, desires, words or actions which are formed without the benefit of the mind of Christ are salted with fire, for they have been invited from the pit into the human breast with the fire of destruction still upon them.  When such implements are used in one’s life the flame of hell begins to burn there.  It burns with craving for things that will make the flames leap higher.  Now it has become unauthorized fire in the hands of mortal man, and it is a fire unto his own undoing.  The more it is fed, the more it destroys.  The fire will not miss the purpose to which it was set – the destruction of the devil and his angels.   And the place where the flames dance will be consumed along with the lower nature if the vessel does not spill out the Word upon them.

ONE WHO LOVES HIS MORTAL LIFE WILL LOSE IT.  This is to say:  If the earth-bound life rules one’s life, he has not ETERNAL LIFE.

GOD IS THE FIRE, THE INITIATOR OF ALL FLAMES.  It is His righteousness that consumes evil.  In His hands the flames of the inferno are for the good of mankind, ridding the universe of wretched intent.  In unauthorized hands they will scorch the soul and ruin the vessel for its intended use.  If man demands what God has cursed, he is in danger of the Consuming Fire.

One who has met Christ but has not allowed the retributive fire to burn in his soul is like those cohabiting without the benefit of marriage.  There is a relationship but no commitment.  He will meet the Flaming Sword upon the death of his human form.  He will escape the outer darkness but there may be much still to be consumed in the purification of his soul.  Yes, receiving Jesus Christ is the Way to salvation but God is not mocked.   Lip service and good intent do not present a holy receptacle.  God does not love such a person the less or want to inflict punishment upon him in cruel ways for his disobedience – the Fire of God is simply there.  Unrighteousness cannot dwell with righteousness.

The Unquenchable Fire; Consuming Fire:  Almighty God

Unauthorized Fire; fire of destruction:  Fires of carnal desires.

The Word:  Sears as Fire; cleanses as water.

The Holy Spirit:  Refreshes as Water; the Flame to burn trash in one’s life.

Hell:  The state of existence of those who are dead to Christ.  The fire of hell burns to effect the consumption of all that is separate from God.

Gehenna:  In the Old Testament it is known as the burning trash heap of refuse outside the gates of JerusalemJesus referred to it as the place of fire reserved for the flesh of incomplete man.

The outer darkness:  There is weeping and wailing for the one in this state because his fulfillment in mortality is lost.  This area is included in the state of hell but reserved for the desolate soul who has never had the benefits of Christ.  He is dead.  There is no redeeming factor in him.  The torment of this existence is memories and unfulfilled desires that no longer have any place – emptiness, isolation.  The sense realm is gone and all that remains is the soul void of the recreated spirit.  But still this wretched one is among those whom Jesus died to save.  He is counted among Christ’s redeemed of the earth but has not been restored to fellowship through the Spirit of Christ.  Until that soul cries out to the Living God, bowing his knee, acknowledging Jesus is Lord, he is not even able for the fire of recompense.

But even in the pit Christ will hear the man of blood whom he died to save.  The mortal body has no miracle reference concerning redemption, but be aware that one who leaves the realm of mortal life without the Spirit of Christ has all to undergo concerning his salvation.  He will suffer the outer darkness and the Flame of Gehenna. His soul will not rest until a new heart is recreated within him.  He will be cleansed of the corruption that seized him in his earth walk.  The sorry soul that finds himself in this realm will suffer the recompense for his walk apart from the Father, for only righteousness can dwell with God.  Although he failed to become in his mortal form what God designed, the blood of the cross and the shedding of flesh knows no boundary.  Because Jesus, the Christ in human form, died to save all the world, the substance of the soul will be tormented by the trials of the pit of darkness and the fires of desire, sorrow and longing until he repents.   Every soul shall bow his knee to Christ, and the Fire of retribution will gain each one release from wretchedness, to be joined to the Spirit who gives Life in abundance.  Such a one will be changed from the dead to Christ, to one who is dead to the world in Christ.

Do not take lightly the recompense by Fire.  Do not sell short the redemptive power of the Almighty.

Listen!  Jesus Christ is Lord.  He has risen from the dead.   He rises in the dead to the world in Christ and He is Lord of all!!!

“Come; let us return to the Lord.

He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us;

he has injured us

but he will bind up our wounds.

After two days he will revive us;

on the third day he will restore us

that we may live in his presence.”  (Hosea 6:1, 2)

 (John 2:19, 21)

“On the third day there was a marriage  (John 2:1)

“Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.”  (John 6:54)

…”I will drive out demons and heal people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.”  (Luke 13:32)

What is Christ’s goal?

“I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints and his incomparably great power for us who believe.”  (Ephesians 1:18, 19)

For two thousand years Christ has been ministering to mortal man in order to raise up eternal man.  The man of flesh was sorely wounded but He has healed him.  He has healed His body to revive it; He has revived it to restore it, and we shall live in His presence.  This is Christ’s inheritance in the saints.  Christ of the recreated spirit shall marry the souls of the saints and serve the wine of the Wedding Feast as He rises in them to raise them up on the third day.  The fruit of this union, the Son of God/son of man, shall be seen in the glory that is Christ’s.

When man was banished from Eden God began working His plan for humanity’s return.   Jesus redeemed the whole world at the cross.  From the cross to this day He has been calling out a body for His Name from among redeemed, mortal man.  It is this body that shall present Christ once again in human flesh.

The New Testament presents the antitype of the mighty acts of the Old.  The Old Testament examples what was to occur in the events of the New, such as a new creation, another exodus from slavery, one more restoration from exile and the Savior King.  The Old Testament is shadows and types; the New presents the Image and the Sign.  But Christ shall reign in the New Order, which is the Testimony of the Trinity, fulfilling both the Old and New Testaments when all things are under His feet and God is all in all.

The end of the flesh walk began at the cross.  All that was accomplished there was for the purpose of bringing mankind to the place of God’s intent in the creation of man.

“What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?”

Man is the crown of God’s handiwork, and his task is to overcome death as he walks the path of the OVERCOMER.  Death shall be placed under the feet of Christ as the alter ego of mankind is overcome because reunion with God is met in the souls of the human race.  All that has been prevalent in God’s absence from mankind will be consumed in His presence and transformed.  There will no longer be a reverse of God’s will for mankind shall choose the mind of Christ and become the image of the Father.  The time has been ordered and now is when man shall meet the design of God’s purpose – fashioned in Adam and revealed in Jesus.  Submission to revealed truth will bring righteousness.

“…Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him.  As surely as the sun rises, he will appear   (Hosea 6:3)

Acknowledge: to confess with a deep conviction of facts.

Let us submit to Christ with a deep conviction of the facts that lead to pure love for one another, and He will appear.  For Truth and Love will then be presented together.

“Come; let us return to the Lord

He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us…”

When God revealed the carnal nature by disconnecting the soul [Eve] from the spirit [Adam], the soul chose the carnal nature for a paramour over her designated mate [spiritual man] who was created in the image of Christ.  Carnality, called Satan, Lucifer or the devil has used the sense realm as procurer to satisfy the appetites of greed, lust and pride.  As the mortal form complies in lurid acts, Satan feeds on the dust of humankind.

The unregenerate soul is untaught, uncontrolled – capricious, immoral, unchaste and unprotected.  This is the condition of every human soul who is born into the realm of the world.  The soul must be born again into a greater life, this time by the Spirit.  It is the recreated spirit in man who saves the human soul from the death realm and will thus influence the world by the Spirit of God.

Christ’s goal is for the perfection of humankind in the image of God. During the church age the broken, wounded body of Christ has been endeavoring to accomplish in parts what can only be done in union.  The Spirit has given life to mortal flesh for the walk in the day now ending but the transformed body shall carry the banner of love to the purpose of the resurrection of the dead in the world.  The resurrected body of Jesus still bore the wounds of the sin of the world in His flesh, and so it has been with His resurrected, many-membered body.    Christ must have a united body in the likeness of Jesus who will reign with Him in earth throughout the period designated for making all things new.  It is the healed, united, glorified body of Christ who will lead the world into righteousness, for they bring judgment.

The Precious Head of this body was wounded for the purpose of the birth of new life for the children of the world.  When Jesus’ empty tomb was discovered it is noted that the cloth that covered His head was neatly folded but the cloths that wrapped His body were only mentioned as being nearby.  This indicates that His work in the salvation of humanity was finished but the rest of the body had yet to complete its part.  The healing, cleansing and joining of this body in righteousness will present the Church of the Firstborn, who is His Bride.  The union of Christ and these overcomers of the church age is the consummation of the marriage that will present the SON and HE WILL BE SEEN.  What was mortal will take on immortality and the dead to the world in Christ will rise up.

“…Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.”  (Ephesians 5:25-27)

“I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear.  But when he, the Spirit of Truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth  (John 16:12, 13)

Have you been born again?  Has the Spirit of Christ come to you to give life to your mortal body?  If so, then He is present to bring all truth to you.  But first you must let down the barriers of tradition and the teachings of denominational churches.   One cannot receive truth while bound.  Open yourself to receive whatever the Spirit has for you.  Do not be afraid of the power that is present.  Jesus taught that what you seek, you would find.  Your heavenly Father will not give you a stone or a serpent when you are seeking the very Bread of Life.  Humanity must learn how to live to fulfill God’s purpose for him in Christ.

“The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”  (Revelation 19:10)  Paul said that the evidence to support the truth that Jesus declared would be given at the proper time.   Now is the time for the truth that we have had faith for to become fact for us.

Truth:  Reality, actuality.

Faith:  Confidant belief in the truth, value or trustworthiness of a person, an idea or a thing.

Fact:  Something having real, demonstrable existence.

Ask the Father to enable you to be willing to learn TRUTH.

What is the actuality of the TRUTH that we must know?

It is written that the righteous shall live by faith.  Our faith is the substance of the things we hope for.  To reach the heights that God has designed for us our faith must rest in the revealed word – THE TRUTH SPOKEN BY THE SPIRIT.

Jesus spoke by the Spirit of Truth but those who heard were not able to understand completely for Jesus had not yet been glorified and the Holy Spirit given.  Only as the Spirit of Truth is received individually can one comprehend the words of Christ.  Spirit speaks to spirit.

“The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life.”  (John 6:63)

To worship God in the understanding of the flesh nature is worshiping from tombs of offense and is an abomination to the Father.  Faith without love produces works but a labor of love is not work at all.  It is remaining and being in Christ.  Christ is the hope of our glory.  Abiding in His bosom brings the realization of that glory.  He has come in the Spirit of Truth to cleanse us and set us free. We are purified by obedience to truth:

“Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart.”  (1 Peter 1:22)

“He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant – not of the letter [written word understood in the un-renewed mind] but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.”  (2 Corinthians 3:6)

“Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.”  (John 17:17)

Hearing and understanding TRUTH is in accord with the promise of the Lord.  The actuality [outworking] of Truth is LOVE!

The time is coming and now has come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.”  (John 4:23)

We must become the visible image of Christ – the tangible presence of the One who has come to transform us.

Consider the things that have been shown to us concerning the end of the age of the ages.  Allow Truth to enter concerning the appearing of Christ.  It is time to be finished with a misconception of God’s word and let the Spirit of Truth lead into all Truth.

All that we see acted out in the flesh of mankind is substantial evidence of the inner-workings of the unseen realm in the souls of humanity.  There is no law, no government, and no new application of punishment that will turn the world around.  We must have Christ and have Him present.  We can no longer abide a god who is in the sky and will please us bye and bye.

The human race was created in the substance and form of God, to take on the identification of the nature of the recreated human spirit, which is God’s Life.  It is not in God’s plan for the human race to forever be the helpless creatures that we have become – always needing aid in these earthen vessels until the death of our mortal form.  It is God’s will (and God’s will shall be done) for mankind to reach the point in his development where the sin nature is consumed in the Life that God inspires.  We are creatures of the Almighty, created higher than all other creatures to take on righteousness.   And that, not by one’s own effort, but only by submission to Christ, allowing Him to rise in vessels of clay until the holiness of Himself is formed, presenting Christ’s character.

It is clearly stated in Acts that Christ will again appear in the same way that He departed – rising in clouds.  Those faithful to His testimony are the CLOUDS OF WITNESSES.  Let us be free of twisting Scripture to fit the immature thinking of a carnal mind.  Quit believing that supernatural events must occur in “unnatural” ways.  The Supernatural is in the natural realm now.  The events that we have awaited are ready to transpire, and they will be done among us.

There is a purpose in humankind, a purpose so vast that we have missed it in our effort to gain knowledge.  God created the human race to be one in Christ.  We must become as He is by relinquishing our wills to the Wisdom of God and allowing the Mind of Christ to teach while the Spirit transforms.  The form of humanity will return to the substance of God, who is holiness in Spiritual form.  This body is being birthed in the unseen realm in just the same order as a natural birth – the Head first and the feet upon which to stand, last.  All of the parts have come forth generation-by-generation so that the final part could be blessed in Jerusalem, spiritually speaking.  The earth walk of mankind has been to overturn the reverse of God’s nature by taking on His character as the darkness of perversion is swallowed up in LIFE.  It will be done because Jesus Christ was successful in His sacrifice of the mortal-life sustaining force of human blood poured out and the Spirit of Christ given to mankind for New Life.  The flesh nature of man’s kind was hung on a cross and cursed unto death and the Spiritual Man rose up.

One might wonder why the perfecting of humankind was not done in Eden rather than mankind having to suffer the agony of the fall of humanity, but God’s reason is clear.  He has purposed mankind to do what only His reflection can do.  We are to step through the mirror (so to speak) and transform what is opposite of God to become the image of the Creator.  Mankind will reverse the curse and weave the garment of righteousness through obedience to TRUTH.  We are stepping out the path of return to Paradise but in a more complete form.  This time there will be no propensity for sin because the nature that promoted darkness will be no more.  The transformation of mankind will mean that all reflections will be truth.  There will no longer be a hidden agenda for Light will permeate all of God’s creation.

“…So will he sprinkle many nations  For what they were not told, they will see and what they have not heard, they will understand.”  (Isaiah 52:15)

“We know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.  Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.”  (1 John 3:2, 3)

(Read Ephesians, chapters 1-4.)

Christ descended to the depths of man’s abode and appeared in human flesh.  He created in himself a perfect man.  His purpose was to abolish the barrier between man and God and reconcile them in holy righteousness.  He defeated the flesh in His flesh, parted the veil in His death and sealed us in His resurrection.  Thus the fate of the human race was irrevocably determined.  Time was created for this purpose; mankind will complete in his soul what Jesus demonstrated in His physical form.

“When he ascended on high, he led captives in his train and gave gifts to men.”

This is in answer to the promise made by the Father God to the House of Israel long ago:

“’…I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ’plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.  You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.  I will be found by you,’ declares the LORD,  ‘and I will bring you back from captivity’  (Jeremiah 29:11-14)

Because Jesus Christ vicariously took Babylon captive when He ascended, we have the hope of escaping the snare of carnality that has held mankind captive throughout the ages of time.

“(…He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.)  It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of man and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ.  From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.”  (Ephesians 4:8, 10-13, 15, 16)

Love will raise up every part of Christ’s body as knowledge of Truth brings obedience to the revealed word.  The Fruit of the Spirit will be seen outwardly through love, the first fruit to ripen, and Christ will harvest the first fruits of His inheritance in the saints.  The captives of Babylon that He led in His train when He ascended on high will live for they have died to the world and Christ is their life.

Throughout the generations since the cross many have come to Christ and have been anointed for special acts of service to raise up eternal man.  They have been taught, “line upon line, precept upon precept – a little here, a little there until they fall back and are captured in his rest.”  Now is the time to ascend for the final era of man’s earth walk as heaven and earth become one.  This is to ascend to accomplish the rest remaining.  It is here that we must say, “I no longer live but Christ lives in me”

“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD

The body of Christ has been stretched out horizontally throughout the world in its members, moving according to the needs and understanding of the times.  The time is upon us for the feet to cause this giant to stand, contending as one man in the knowledge of Truth for this gospel of the Kingdom of God.  They are firmly planted in the City of Truth, the Holy Mountain of God.

“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, ‘Your God reigns!’  (Isaiah 52:7)

The rising up of this body of people initiates the millennium.  Walking in obedience to God’s Truth is the move that creation has been waiting for in eager expectation.  The new order is being presented and its impetus is not of the world but wholly of God.  Mankind cannot bring it about by good works and neither can it be stopped by the will of the nations.  Those who participate in it do not design it nor cause it to happen, but they are God’s implements to execute it.

The millennial reign could never come to a people moving in imputed righteousness under grace.  The Lord’s hand is lifted high for His people.  It is lifted high to bring the elect of God to the standard of Jesus Christ.  As they conform to His design they are clothed in Christ’s righteousness [the bride].  This standard is then, in turn, presented to the world in the glorified body of the SON bringing judgment to this realm.

“…Christ in you is the hope of glory.  When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.”  In the beginning there is confusion among men for it is an overlapping of the Church Age and the New Order, which is Kingdom rule.  The millennium is a time of the peace of God prevailing in righteousness but it is not peace for a rebellious spirit.  It will bring the over-spreading of Truth and Love to the nations and it is the means of the transformation of the people of the world and death to carnality.

This question from the Psalm of David is about to know its answer:

“…What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?  You made him a little lower than the angels; you crowned him with glory and honor and put everything under his feet.  In putting everything under him, God left nothing that is not subject to him.  Yet at present we do not see everything subject to him.”  (Hebrews 2:6, 7)

Earth-born man is the family of God in Christ.  Mankind was created in the Son and born in earth to reconcile the reverse of God to His image.  The completion of the circle inscribed by God in the universe is the beginning of True Life.  The obedience of mankind to the Truth of God in the strength of Christ eliminates the carnal nature, thus bringing all creation into perfect harmony with the mind of God, never to depart.

Allow me to share with you the method that the Lord used to give me understanding concerning the apple of His eye.

The forbidden fruit of the garden was within man.  It was a noxious fruit that was destined to consume man when he partook of it.  The word I received for the purpose of edification was “Gravenstein.”

Gravenstein A variety of apple.  [The forbidden fruit of the garden is referred to as an apple.]

Graven Sculpted, deeply impressed, carved.  [The object of one’s worship carves his precepts]

Stein Earthenware vessel.  [Man is a vessel of clay.]

Knowledge apart from God was the forbidden fruit desired by man.  In the garden this “apple” was plucked by Eve [the unruly soul] and fed to Adam [the human spirit] via the flesh area that remained there.  The dwellers of the garden thus chose the base nature of carnality over the Spirit of Truth and were then ejected from God’s realm.  They were emptied of Spiritual Life, and the glory of God was lost to mankind.   “Self” became an idol and the object of man’s worship.  The base nature came out from the human soul and influenced the sense realm according to the dictates of carnality.

Graven Image Idol. Man became the image of his base nature (carnality) then carved into the facsimile of the object of his worship.  The apple of God’s eye had fallen.

Without God the man of the ground became the image of his own worship.  The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye and the pride of life now set his desires and goals.  Man is an empty vessel until he is fed by the Fruit of Heaven and the Fruit of the Spirit becomes apparent in him.  The apple of God’s eye shall be re-carved into the image of his Creator.

“Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every fruit with seed in it.  They will be yours for food.”  (Genesis 1:29)

“…In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.”  (Genesis 2:9)

“…And the LORD God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it, you will surely die.”  (Genesis 2:16, 17)

Knowledge apart from the Seed of Life brought about spiritual death – the Life of the Son departed.  God then provided a covering for humanity to correspond with the life of their choice – flesh.  He infused their flesh with blood and provided mortal life for the soul.  Mankind’s fall laid low the species of man.  But we should not wonder at the failure of humankind to resist the temptation in that primordial garden when we consider the source of the tempter.  The knowledge of carnality is of high intelligence and to them appeared to hold the promise of equality with God.  Why would an untrained mind not believe it, an undisciplined appetite not crave it and an unruly will not take it?  Remember, this alter ego came out from God.

Although Eve [the soul] was present because “she” had not yet been separated from Adam [man of the ground inspired with the Life of God] when God instructed him, “she” had not agreed to God’s terms.  Because the soul is the area of the mind, will and emotions [appetites] where life-style decisions are made, when brought away from the presence of the spirit, the soul was free to rule over the spiritual counterpart in actions.  The capricious soul chose to sin [separate from God], and both the male and female of the human species were bound to death.  The only support for the earthbound soul apart from God is mortal.  The life of the soul is in the blood.

When God created man He spoke His intention and formed the soul from the poured out substance of Himself.  Into the form of man He blew His Breath, which is Spiritual Life.  (Genesis 1:26, 27; 2:7)  It was to the man and woman in union that God gave the charge of Genesis 1:28, 29.  When the spirit and soul are once more joined as one this charge will find fulfillment.

We must understand that the depth of recovery in the soul is controlled by the free will in man, even in one whose spirit is recreated.  When one is born again from above [higher form of life] the soul must come into compliance with God’s perfect will and purpose.  Until that is accomplished the human will causes a still carnal soul to walk apart from God.

The soul is the area where decisions are made which propel one on his course in life.  However, it is God’s design that the recreated spirit should govern the soul in all ways.  The woman of the garden did it wrong.  No longer being in union with the spirit of Adam she did not consult him concerning her choice to yield to temptation.  She tasted.  Adam ate.  Humankind died.  When God separated the soul from the spirit according to His purpose, the Bible says, “He closed the place with flesh.”  To my understanding this fleshly area is the fallen will [sense realm], and it allowed the human spirit to be overruled by the soul.  The bit of flesh that remained in Adam became his downfall.

The fall of humanity is told by way of allegory in Genesis.  It is the spirit and soul of humankind who are the principal characters of the first three chapters.  The part of the soul is characterized in Eve, and Adam examples the spirit.  In the fourth chapter of the Book of Genesis we see Adam and Eve in their human flesh beginning to live out what transpired in the Paradise of God.  They brought forth two sons, Cain and Able, flesh and blood counterparts of the spirit and soul.  Cain lived, Able died.  From that point the human story begins.

We have already dealt with the trek of mankind’s earth walk through the generations seeking to find his way back to the garden of his beginning.  It has been established that mankind trod a natural path full of obstructions and in only his natural form throughout the days of the Old Testament.  Those days have ended however, for the Life of Christ has returned to provide humanity with the means to finish in the unseen realm that which transpired on the cross in the natural.  We must return to the Paradise of Adam and Eve but this time with the natural man in agreement with the man of the recreated spirit.  And it can only be done as the soul comes into agreement with God’s plan.

Let us turn our attention to the task of obtaining fruit from the Tree of Life.  Pattern and example have been set for the way of triumph.  From the mode of His birth to the way of His death and beyond, Jesus has carved the way.

The young girl, Mary, who gave birth to Jesus, presented type and shadow of what must occur in humankind.  The child produced when the seed of promise impregnated her egg was Jesus, a child of flesh and blood.   God overshadowed her womb to establish the presence of His Son.  The Seed of Promise that was kept through the line of Abraham, then through David was the Seed that was released when Mary said let it be done as the angel had said.  Flesh begets flesh and Spirit begets spirit.  The child that came forth was Christ Jesus, the Child of Promise.  The new form of life born of her flesh by the Spirit of God must occur in the unseen realm of our beings.  This new life that was created through her flesh and empowered by the Spirit of God must occur in the unseen realm of our beings.  This is the born again experience.  The Holy Spirit presents new life.

We need to recall the truth of the Scripture that states: “God moves in mysterious ways his wonders to perform.”  More than one revelation is exampled in every unfolding of truth.  The recreated spirit and the soul are not only life and character for humankind, but are also illustrated in the physical functions of procreation in the male and female.

God’s gift of marriage and reproduction is representative of the union that is designed to come about in the inner person when the recreated spirit and the soul are joined.  Any deviation from this natural, God-blessed union which brings forth the fruit of wedded love is an aberration and therefore abhorrent to the Father.

The recreated spirit is the Spirit of Christ reborn in man.  This born-again experience presents the God-Spirit in the human breast to bring new life in man’s mortal form.  The recreated spirit begins to move as a bridegroom to the soul.  The soul alone is a shrew that must be tamed by “her” intended.  Before the soul will join the recreated spirit it must be tamed by the love of Christ and inspired to reciprocate in kind.  The spirit must woo the soul!  Loving trust does not spring forth in an instant but must be nurtured and developed until it is steadfast and enduring.  The one who would be trusted must prove himself trustworthy.  When trusting love is full the soul will become a suitable bride for the recreated spirit and willing to commit completely to the plan of God.   (Solomon’s beautiful writing on this subject in Canticles will help to open your understanding.)

When the union is established this relationship defines new life for the soul.  The soul walks in agreement with her mate and her identity is changed.  The spirit takes his bride and the soul takes his name, Christ [Christian].  When these two entities become as one, regeneration is sanctioned, and at the proper time a new life will be formed.  The life of the blood is no longer significant.

The union of a man and woman in matrimony is a holy estate for it pictures the joining of the recreated spirit and the soul whose betrothal was established before the creation of all things created.

Before a woman joins a man in marriage her love must be only for him.  She needs to get to know and trust him.  He will do all that he can to win her.  When love and trust are strong, their intentions to marry will be announced and a wedding date set.  Faith and love will grow and the vows of marriage will be pledged.   The groom has won his beloved and she will acquiesce, taking his name as they promise to love, honor and cherish.  The act of procreation is sanctioned when a commitment of marriage is made before God and man.  Then in time a new life is begotten in the bonds of holy matrimony.

Let us look at this miracle of birth in the physical and the spiritual forms together.  Remember that the woman (wife) represents the soul and the man (husband) represents the recreated spirit.

The barrier of flesh [hymen] must be penetrated by the recreated spirit [husband] before the soul [wife] can conceive.  She will only allow this to be done by the one to whom she has pledged her troth.  After the obstruction [fleshly will of the soul] has been removed, the husband [recreated spirit] releases his sperm [Seed of Life] to fertilize her ovum.  (The female egg typifies the attributes within the soul that have the potential to bring forth the Fruit of the Spirit)  At the joining of these two substances, ovum and sperm, [dust of the human make-up and the recreated spirit] menses will cease and the process will begin that will culminate in the birth of a new life.  The life of the Spirit is not in the blood.

In order for the newly created embryo to grow the nutriments of life must nourish it.  The substance [the Spirit and the Word] that nourishes the area of the womb [soul] also sustains the fetus.  As the new life within the womb [soul] develops, the fetus takes on the form of its mother and father [soul and recreated spirit].  When the incubation period is fulfilled the birth will occur.  The child [eternal form of life] will separate from his mother [flesh nature] to grow and learn to function as a viable example in human form.

For a while the newborn will feed at his mother’s breast [Spiritual milk provided by the soul who is bound to the recreated spirit].  As he grows and becomes stronger he learns to eat solid food [Bread of Life].  When maturity comes his nourishment is meat and drink that he will obtain on his own.  [We may recognize this as the Word reserved for the sons of God, revealed as it is written on the human heart.  Jesus referred to this nourishment as His flesh and blood – real food and drink.   When this Christ/man has fully matured he will have life unto himself, as did Jesus.]  Behold, the new creation that walks!

Because the scenario of the unseen realm is to be acted out in human form, it is imperative that we get it right!  The importance of the relationship between husbands and wives cannot be overemphasized.  However, it is the child of the new birth with whom we are now concerned.  This child is the Fruit of the Spirit, conceived in flesh and born to LIFE.  What is done individually must transpire in the corporate body of Christ – the bride of His intent.

During the time of the church age Christians have concentrated only upon the born again experience and formation of the bride.  Now it is time for the Child of the Spirit [eternal man] to be brought to birth and gain the maturity necessary for the salvation of the world.

When one views the plight of the fallen world he might surmise that the possibility of reform is beyond possibility.  Unregenerate citizens of the world foster the decadent spirit of immorality and promote any sexual activity that does not produce new life.  This extends from deviant and illicit sexual behavior to the aborting of a fetus whose conception was unwanted.  The world’s standard is welcomed and sanctioned by lives led not by the Spirit of God but the prince-of-the-power-of-the-air.  The world would prevent the birth in human form of the One who holds the balm to open blind eyes.  Babylon cannot be healed – but neither can the birth of regeneration for the human race be stopped.

Although all has been done that needs to be done in the realm of the Almighty for the return of mankind to God, the race of man has continued its downward spiral.  But this has nothing to do with the appearing of Christ with all of his holy ones.  His appearing with the saints has only to do with those who are of the body of the prepared bride who shall bring forth the Christ/man of the Spirit.

We might consider the time that has passed, from the ascension of Christ Jesus to the present, as the season of the courtship of the bride.   Dedicated men and women have been anointed to move in the provisions listed in Ephesians 4 as the means of preparation for God’s people.  The call has been to bring them into the Kingdom of God and build up the body that is the bride of Christ.  Think of this as Christ calling to His beloved, the Church of the Firstborn.  In this day these are called upon to portray the terms of God’s requirement, for the bride is forming, and the time of the birth of the man/child draws near.  (See Revelation 12)

When the born again experience occurs the Power is present to carry that life through to the presentation of Christ again in the form of man.  However, until the truth of His appearing is understood Christians are unable to place their faith in that hope.

Truth is the basis of faith.

Faith is the substance of hope.

Hope demonstrated through LOVE will transform the world.

When truth and love come together we shall see the new creation.

In the centuries past the power of the Spirit has been implemented in signs and wonders through Christians.  But the presence of Spiritual Gifts does not signify the Fruit of the Spirit in the ones wielding the power.  The Spirit that is put in their hearts is but the deposit paid by The Spirit of Life guaranteeing what is to come.  The full inheritance will be to the fruit born of the Spirit and soul – the new creation.  God is love, and it is His full-blown love that springs forth from obedience to truth, which will give substance to the Fruit of the Spirit created in humankind.

This is the revelation of the mystery of the body of Christ:

The united body of Christ is the corporate bride of the Son of God.  She is formed part by part in the saints whose souls have bowed to the recreated spirit. We being many are one body in Christ.

This is the revelation of the appearing of Christ in His flesh:

When each individual soul has become one with the Spirit of Christ recreated in their being, and pure love is present due to obedience to the truth presented, the fruit, fathered by that same Spirit and borne in the soul shall take on life of its own.  Each one has overcome the obstacles of the world and triumphed by their perseverance in yielding to the Spirit of Truth.   They are one in the Son.  (See Revelation 21:7)  This is the many membered body who shall be seen as Christ appears in the manifested Fruit of the Spirit – the new creation who walks.

Now the fruit of the Spirit’s indwelling the human breast is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.  The Tree of Life is established there, and the bearing of fruit is constant.  Because God is love His presence in the soul causes love to be the first fruit ripened.  Love will cause all of the fruit to become tangible.  The out-working of this Life (leaves of the tree) is for the healing of the nations.   The atmosphere of the world shall be changed (as by photosynthesis) from noxious to purity. (See Revelation 22:2)

Mankind’s return to the garden of his beginning is thus completed. He has become the image of the fruit of the Tree of Life from which he feeds.  The apple of the primordial garden is now re-carved and filled with fruitful seed.  The APPLE OF HIS EYE brings joy and pleasure to the heart of the Father.
