HEB 6:16 Men swear by someone greater than themselves, and the oath confirms what is said and puts an end to all argument. 17] Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath. 18] God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged. 19] We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, 20] where Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.

It is impossible for God to lie. You must get this truth into the very fabric of your being. This truth is truth. It is the foundation by which everything exists and has it’s substance. God cannot lie. Why? God cannot lie because everything He says comes to pass. Everything. At His word all creation sprang into being. The thunder of the ‘big bang’ was the Word of God.

“Let there be light… and there was light.”

“Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water.” 7] So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. And it was so.

“Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so.

“Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so.

“Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so.

If you were standing in the Arctic North Pole in the middle of the endless winter night and God said “It is tropical day” The universe would shift itself into conformity to that word. You would find yourself swimming in a warm sea where there was once ice and snow. The darkness would flee at a dazzling sun-filled sky. It would be so.

God is God. He is the creator and His word must come to pass. His purpose is unchangeable and His will is done in all of creation. If you think that anything can stand against God, you are sadly deceived. Nothing can stand against His word. Nothing can change His purpose. He can not be knocked off the path that He has set his word on. Nothing, can frustrate the will of God, not Satan, or sin, not opposition or lies, not even the fall of Adam. Everything that has happened from the beginning until the end was foreordained and everything works towards His purpose. EVERYTHING.

God cannot lie. You must believe this. You must meditate on this and know in your knowing that God cannot lie. Then believing this one thing you must now begin to believe Him and hear what He says about you, His Son.
