CHAPTER ONE

THE QUEST

In the beginning of this account we want to impress upon all the importance of worship – true praise and adoration. God had made it known to our assembly that he desired worship. He can make and send forth a missionary or preacher any time he desires – but he is searching for worshippers, “For He SEEKETH SUCH to worship Him”John. 4:23

In obedience to this command, four of us were gathering daily under a juniper tree in the Mojave Desert near Lancaster, CA over twenty-five years ago, to SEEK GOD in the spirit of true worship. Though I had been a minister of the gospel for several years, I still had so many unanswered problems and questions concerning God’s plan of salvation. Though my hands were lifted heavenward in praise and my lips were saying “hallelujah”, my mind was filled with these many disturbing thoughts.

These questions in my mind had first begun to prick me when my husband, a confirmed atheist, was so marvelously converted while lying on his deathbed cursing God! Suddenly, he began to cry in agony of soul, tears gushing out of his eyes like a fountain, his body rolling from side to side in bed. When at last he could speak, he said, “God spoke to me.” Then, he added, “I did not want to pray; God made me pray!” Sitting up, he placed his hand on his side saying, “God reached down His hand, touching my side. I’m healed! I’m going to get up.”

While I stood in dumb-founded amazement, he dressed, went outside, and began hoeing weeds in the garden. Suddenly he again began to shout at the top of his voice, as he ran around the house, in an incoherent fashion. Then, rushing into me he threw his arms around me saying so sweetly, “Oh, Mama, I’m saved! Aren’t you glad I’m saved?” Later that day as God led him to pray (exposed to the neighborhood right on our porch) he was filled with the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues and prophesying to the neighbors who, out of curiosity, had gathered in our home to see what was taking place.

While hoeing in the garden he had such a tremendous experience of seeing Jesus standing before him in light form and then, entering into him, overwhelming him completely within and without. Later, after things quieted down, I saw him gazing in a mirror in order to see if he could see Jesus reflected in his own face – (2 Cor. 3:18).

In my own self-righteousness, I, whom had thought I was so far ahead of the unbelieving world (holding out very little hope for them), saw my own unbelieving husband saved, healed, filled with the Spirit, and receive the revelation of the indwelling Christ by the sovereign power of God. Within in a matter of minutes my suppositions that one must repent, believe, pray through, endure, and prove their self to be faithful before experiencing salvation had been disproved. My mind began to be filled with doubts and questions. Could I be mistaken? Had I falsely presented the gospel, basing salvation on works instead of the grace of God? In one day God had reached out to my husband, who I thought was so far behind spiritually, and placed him ahead of me in spiritual knowledge and experience of our Lord and Savior. Oh glory! I have had to move at a rapid, rapid pace since that time in order to keep abreast of the move of God.

A few days later I heard my husband praying for his deceased father. Surely he should not be praying for his father who also was an atheist. According to my teaching, his destiny was sealed. Therefore, I had supposed that there was no hope for his soul. However, I was afraid to stop him as he was under such an intense burden of prayer. I began praying that God would lift the burden by blotting out the memory of his father. Is this not what we are taught? That in heaven God will remove the memory of our unsaved loved ones from our minds? Otherwise, how would we ever be happy in heaven thinking of our father, mother, brother, sister or one of our dear children suffering in the torment of hell forever?

After a while my husband came in the house, his face shining with the radiance of God. He said, “I’ve been praying for my father.” I interrupted, “Oh, honey, don’t you know that you cannot pray for anyone after they are dead?” He replied, “I had to pray for my father; I could not bear to think that he was lost. I had to tell God how honest my father was, and how good he was to everyone, and oh, how much I loved him! And God answered me too!” In amazed unbelief I asked, “He did? What did He say?” And my husband, looking at me in calm assurance replied, “God said, ‘MY LOVE IS GREATER THAN YOUR LOVE!’ and if God’s love is greater than my love, I know my father is in good hands!” From that hour he never worried about the welfare of his father anymore. How this shook me! Could there possibly be hope for the unsaved after death?

It was five years later that I was sitting under a juniper tree, trying to worship God in spirit and in truth, but how could I with all these questions interfering? Let me mention a few more concerns that had arisen in my ministry, which were really gnawing away at me. Would these spirits be tormented forever as some were advocating? Or would they be little angels in heaven, as some others [are] teaching? This seemed more reasonable to me and, yet, how could they “enter the Kingdom of God without being born again” according to John 3:3-6? If it could be true that children went to heaven because of their innocence, how could God be fair? It seemed unjustifiable that God permitted some to die during their tender years of innocence, while at the same time keeping others here to go through the tests of life to be finally cast off into a burning hell due to lack of faith in His son, Jesus Christ. Why not let all die young and then all could go to heaven? And besides, is not faith a gift from God? Did not Jesus himself say, “no one may come to me except my Father draw him?” How could I reconcile all this?

I had the same unsolved problems concerning the heathen. In my youth I was taught that the heathen were expendable while God redeemed His chosen, predestined few. Then, as I was older, another line of teaching was presented to me – the heathen would be judged according to their light, only being responsible for the light, which they had received. If this were true, then why send missionaries? Why not let them remain in darkness concerning the gospel? Would not the greater majority be better off? This brought up the question,

“Did God have three ways of salvation?”

1) Die as a child. Would these not then be little angels in heaven?

2) Die as heathen without any light. Would these not then, being judged according to their light, be

given a lighter sentence?

3) Hear the gospel. And if you do – YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN. Would this not seem in comparison that America, though having so much gospel light, would have the lowest percentage saved? Are there not even now only a few born again, in spite of all the gospel messages flooding the pulpit, TV, radio, and press?

These were some of the questions bombarding me. The Bible plainly and boldly declares there is only ONE WAY of salvation and that through our Savior Jesus Christ – John 14:6, I John 4:14.

CHAPTER TWO

THE VISION

In the midst of all these seemingly contradictory creeds and doctrines, in desperation, I finally cried out in my heart, “Oh, God, I want to love You and worship You, but I cannot for I do not know You. What is the purpose of continuing to create these countless souls knowing what the end result will be? Why bring these miserable creatures into this world, only to live out their entire existence in diseased and deformed bodies, in darkened and retarded minds (souls), in dire poverty, never once being able to go to sleep with a full stomach – and others, the privileged few living in luxury and an over-abundance, smart, enlightened, healthy and strong in mind (soul) and body. Oh, God, this partially doesn’t seem fair – and that is why I cannot fully open my whole heart and mind (soul) to you in love and adoration.”

I cried thus in my heart unto the Lord, while my lips outwardly were praising Him. Suddenly, the Holy Spirit moved within my inner being, drowning out every other voice, rising up to overwhelm me completely, slaying me under the mighty power of God in a deep trance. Whether I was in the body or out of the body, I know not, for I had lost all consciousness of place and time. In fact, we were sitting in the shade of this tree when we began to pray, yet, when I regained consciousness the shade had moved to the other side of the tree. I found myself lying with my face toward the blazing sun without damaging my eyes or even receiving sunburn. This, in itself, was a miracle, as it was 115 degrees in the shade. Imagine how hot it would be in the sun. When I had fully collected my faculties, I realized that I was alone as the others, knowing that I was in the hands of God, had gone home to take care of our children, who were expected to arrive home from school.

I do not know how long I was in this trance before I began to perceive that God was showing me a glorious light. It was a light beyond human description. Not yellow or orange, but transparent, luminous white, vibrant and living – the Shekinah glory of God – Ex. 24:10. The light in which Christ is now dwelling which no man hath seen nor can see – 1 Tim. 6:16. To me this was an expression of the glory of God in Christ who is the “brightness of His glory and the express image of his person (essence and nature)” – Heb. 1:3.

Soon I noticed a tiny cross (seemingly) coming up out of the “heart of the earth” – Matt. 12:40. Could this be our own ‘deep’ or unconscious being? We are a small universe within ourselves – heaven, spiritual; earth, natural; mind, ruling; mind and body, ruled over. Be this as it may, this cross, surrounded by this glorious white light of God, continued to grow until it completely spanned the universe filling the whole world with the glory of God – Isa. 6:1, 11:9, Hab. 2:14.

Then I was made to see the great spheres whirling out of this great mass of white light. Could they be planets? I was made to know that they represented GREAT WORLD STAGES OF TIME through which God is working to fulfill His original plan for all mankind. These large Eons of Time not only whirled into view, but they slowly revolved around the cross. They came out from God and were returning back into God. “For Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things.”  Rom. 11:36

CHAPTER THREE

THE REVELATION

As I continued to watch I saw glorious RAYS OF LIGHT emanating from the cross. They began to stream out from the cross to every Eon, completely covering each one with it’s own pure illumination. The cross seemed to be like a huge radiant magnet sending out RAYS OF LOVE AND LIFE everywhere, influencing and enlightening the whole creation and then gradually drawing all back into itself again – John 12:32. These great Eons of Time seemed to be hinged to the cross by these flashing rays, holding all things together by their influence and power – Col. 1:17. I was made to know that the CROSS OF CHRIST represented the LIFE AND LOVE of God flowing out to all men without respect of persons, sustaining and drawing all unto Himself by His magnetic power. “In Him is life and that life is the light of men. He lighteth every man that cometh into the world”John 1:4, 9. He loves us, washes us, and then changes us into kings and priests – his own life, drawing us back into Himself – Rev. 1:5-6

In amazement the whole panoramic view began to move in a majestic flowing orbit. All was in motion, vibrating, and alive. The pulsations of the cross, the rays flashing everywhere, illuminating and healing, the eons whirling in their orbits around the cross, covered with the grace and life of the flashing rays, which were dispelling the power of God through out the universe. Beholding this I was made to know that nothing is stagnant or stationary, but full and all advancing steadily according to schedule in the plan and purpose of God.

In the cross God was revealing Himself as he really is. There His great heart of love was fully exposed to all everywhere. Wonder of wonders! ALL were responding! ALL were worshipping, as I heard a great volume of praise like the “voice of many waters” around the cross. Everywhere I looked all were kneeling or lying prostrate in praise and utter adoration. Neither did I see sickness, death, nor hell. All were covered with the light of life. I know that all things were made new so that former things were no longer remembered. The whole restored universe was offering homage and praise unto the lamb, who sitteth upon the throne for the eons of the eons – Rev. 5:11-13, 21:5

Remember how I had said, “Oh, God, you don’t seem to be fair… therefore, how can I love you and worship you fully?” Well, in this vision I know God was giving the answers. He began revealing Himself, as He truly is – a God of love, who never could and never will show partiality, as he is no respecter of persons. But through the operation of the eons in Christ, He reaches out to and draws all men unto Himself in their own time and order.

This was such a new revelation to me that at first I could not accept nor believe what I had seen. The vision stayed before me day and night until, again in despair, I asked God to show me the meaning of this vision in His word. I was a “stickler” to the Bible, especially the King James Version. Praise His name! God, in His patience and mercy, opened up his word in a new and living way. He gave me such a new and wonderful conception of His love and plan for His own creation that it inspired my depiction of this vision on a chart – although, the riches of God are unsearchable (untraceable) – Eph. 3:8. The gradual unfolding of this plan of God will be the subject of the following chapter. Only those who seek Him with their whole heart (spirit) shall find Him and know Him as he is.

CHAPTER FOUR

THE CONFIRMATION

A few days after receiving this tremendous vision of the cross with its rays extending everywhere, filling the heavens and earth with its glory, while sitting at the kitchen table I cried, “O Lord, you will have to show me the meaning of this vision in your word. Otherwise, I will just have to put it out of my mind.” Slowly, opening my Bible at random my eyes fell upon Ephesians 1:9-12:

“Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fullness of times, he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; [even] in him: In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.”

The word, “TIMES,” seemed to leap from the page. Never before had I noticed the “S” on this word “TIMES “, though, having read this passage again and again. Could “TIME” be plural? Was there more than one time? As these questions spun through my mind, my eyes fell upon Ephesians 2:4-7:

“But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, And hath raised [us] up together, and made [us] sit together in heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus: THAT IN THE AGES TO COME he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in [his] kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.”

In amazement it began to dawn upon me that there were yet AGES TO COME. During the future AGES God was going to show forth unto others by His grace alone, this very love and grace which He had displayed to us when He saved us. In fact, the realization came that we were being saved now in this age for that very purpose, to be His glorious body displayed to all creation. That what He had done for us (by His grace), He would do for all, as He is no respecter of persons. There is no partiality in God! There are just different times and orders to show forth His love displayed in the cross.

Surely, it would not be necessary to display the exceeding riches of His grace and love in Heaven (as we understand it), as all would know Him there. Where else would it be shown, but here in the world in the coming ages? Yes, and even in hell – not to condemn, but deliver. Simultaneously, with this tradition-shattering thought, the magnificent cross of the vision appeared with its glorious healing rays shining out everywhere in God’s universe – in heaven, on the earth, and under the earth, covering these immense circling periods of time with light and love: “gathering together in ONE all things in Christ”Eph. 1:10. This will be accomplished when these TIMES are full or finished.

Immediately all doubt was removed. The assurance came that the vision was true, confirmed by His word. These scriptures to which He sovereignly directed, took on a totally new meaning and light. The whole Bible became a new book as God opened it up on a new and living way. Let us again turn to Ephesians 1:3-12, noting what it declares:

1) God has a will. This mystery (secret) of His will is being made known unto us. Not of our merit, but according to His own pleasure. He works all things after the counsel of His own will.

2) God has this purpose in Himself. No one instructs Him or gives Him anything so that He can expect reimbursement. – Rom. 11:33-36

3) It is God’s purpose to gather together in one all things in Christ. This is being worked out through Christ during long periods of time called eons. It will be completed when these TIMES (eons) are full (fullness of times). Eph. 3:11 “…according to the [EONIAN] PURPOSE…” which He purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

4) We have been chosen in Christ (by grace before the beginning of the world) to obtain an inheritance in these things. We have a first (prior) hope in Christ, so we can be to the praise of His glory – Eph. 1:3, 4,12.

5) We have been predestined to come forth at this time to be part of His glorious body – Rom. 8:29. A nucleus saved ahead of time to be as a sign of His great love for all.

6) This is all of grace. “…by whose grace you are saved…that (for this reason) in the ages to come, He will show the exceeding riches of His grace to all His creation” Eph. 2:5-7.

With the revelation of these utterly new truths, God impressed me to draw the vision. Editor’s/printer’s note: For technical reasons, I have decided to omit the chart that was included in an earlier edition. The author continued with a condensed explanation:] The drawings, the title, the size, the position of the cross, the number of eons, the scriptures, etc. were all given by divine revelation. When I noticed that I had drawn eight eons it all seemed to be wrong. I was taught that seven was the number of perfection. Every chart I had ever seen of God’s plan contained only seven dispensations. But God Himself revealed that eight is the number of new beginnings, bringing in the complete and full consummation of God’s Plan of the Eons. Gradually, through the study of the word, especially the Literal Concordant Version, the true meaning and purpose of these eons unfolded. In order for you to obtain a clearer grasp of God’s Plan of the Eons, we give a brief concordant study of these eons set forth in God’s word.

CHAPTER FIVE

THE EONS

The word eon has been transliterated into English from the Greek word aion. These eons are plural. They have a beginning and ending no matter how far in the dim past or far-reaching future. They once began and, therefore, must end. The word eonian is an adjective [form] of the noun eon; qualifying, limiting, or magnifying it. These eons were made by and for Christ – Heb. 1:2. He is the King of the eons – 1 Tim. 1:17. He is the same before the eons (Heb. 13:8) as after the eons when He will no longer be reigning, but Himself be subjected to the Father so that God will be all in all – 1 Cor. 15:28. All the eons were framed by the word of God. – Heb. 11:3. All the eons synchronize with the different world orders and change at the same time. Eons speak of time element, while the world describes the various orders that exist during these eons.

Through a concordant study of the word eonian we find it also contains within it an element of quality. Christ is not only offering length or duration of life, but He is giving His own life unto those who believe into Him, which is a quality of life needed to rule with Him in His coming kingdom. This is seen in the phrase “eonian times” – “times” speaking of ages and “eonian” being the adjective describing the quality of life necessary to live in these coming ages. This life is found only in Christ – John 17:2-3. So, we find that an eon is the longest period of time mentioned in the Bible. They seem to fall into eight sections as arranged below:

The Eonian Times – 2 Tim. 1:9; Titus 1:3

ETERNITY – Before the eons – 2 Tim. 1:9; 1 Cor. 2:7; 1 Pet. 1:20

TIME BEGINS–From the eons–Rev. 13:8; Eph. 3:9; Col. 1:26; Rom. 16:25

All the Eons – Jude 25

The Present Evil Eon – Gal. 1:4; 2 Tim. 4:10; Mark 10:30

The Coming Eons – Eph. 2:7; Luke 20:35

Conclusion of the Eon – Matt. 13:39; Matt. 28:29; Heb. 9:26

Consummation of the Eons – 1 Cor. 10:11

TIME ENDS – After the Eons, God All in All – 1 Cor. 15:28; Rom. 11;36

Also we find such phrases as these:

Eon of the Eon – Heb. 1:8

Eon of the Eons – Eph. 3:21

Eons of the Eons – Rev. 1:6, 11:15, 14:11, 22:5

These are not eons tumbling upon eons forever. This phrase means that in God’s plan one eon is more outstanding than another, even as the phrase “Holy of Holies” does not mean endless Holies, but it indicates that the Holy Place and Holiest of all are more holy than the Outer Court (in Moses’ Tabernacle and Solomon’s Temple). There are two eons that reveal God’s glory in a greater measure as His light and truth increases.

CHAPTER SIX

THE CHART EXPLAINED

A. THE PURPOSE OF THE CROSS

THE CROSS, magnified in all its power and glory, stands in the center of God’s eonian times. All the eons converged and met at the cross. All sin from the beginning to the ending of time was rolled up together and laid on Jesus, who is the Christ of the cross – Isa. 53:6;1 Pet. 2:24; Heb. 9:26. The cross is the divider of time – B.C and A.D. It is a divider of all mankind, saved and unsaved, as it stands between two thieves. It is the divider of all Christendom, children or sons (those fully matured by a further spiritual working of the cross within) – Gal. 6:14. The cross is also the uniter and lifter of all men to be made known to all in their own order, rank, and era. “He gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time”1 Tim. 2:6. In other words, it will be made known to all men in their own time that Jesus gave Himself as a ransom for them also when He died upon the cross. None will be left out no matter what the time, era, or eon in which they may have lived and died. All will be quickened by the spirit. The cross spans all eons and will have an influence upon all, depicted by the rays going out everywhere in God’s universe. “In Christ all will be made alive”1. Cor. 15:22. And Jesus said, “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth (nailed to a cross), will draw all [men] unto me!”John 12:32.

B. THE PURPOSE OF THE RAYS

We were given this title: “The rays of the cross in God’s eonian purpose” – or “The place and purpose these rays have in God’s plan of salvation.” These rays reveal God’s love, influence, and power enlightening His whole creation throughout all the eons. The cross was in the heart of God before creation – 2 Tim. 2:9. Therefore, these rays reach into eternity where we were chosen in Christ before time began – Eph. 1:3-4 (see small cross in eternity). The references written on each ray show the connection and influence of the cross over all eons. It was God’s plan that man fall, that His own heart of love and grace be revealed. He uses evil for good – Gen. 50:20. See the blood line (grace) coming out of eternity, encompassing and holding all the eons together in one united whole. Nothing can fly out of divine love or be lost. He is the Alpha and Omega. Nothing can be or get outside of Him. Even the evil line (death) is swallowed up in life, super-abounded and framed by grace – Rom. 11:36; Heb. 11:3; 1 Cor. 15:22-26; Col. 1:17; Rom. 5:20.

Redemption was in the heart of God before creation. Therefore, creation cannot fall beyond redemption, as it is the very basis of creation. All evil, sin, and death have an end, but grace given to us before the world (Eonian Times) began in Christ Jesus comes out of God’s heart reaching all men and then returns carrying all with it back into the heart of God. This is God’s law of circularity – Rev. 13:8; 2 Tim. 1:9; Ecc.1:7.

C. THE PURPOSE OF THE EONS

An eon is the longest period of time known to man. It is used both in science and in the Bible (as shown in Chapter V). It is God’s purpose through these long periods of time or world stages to redeem all mankind through the life, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ – Rom. 5:10. He is the Savior of all men (see references noted on the cross). God had this purpose in Himself (Eph. 1:9), which He is executing in Christ – Eph. 3:11. The Greek word aeion translated “eternal” in the K.J.V. is incorrect. It should be translated “of the eons” or “eonian “, as all purposes must end or they are in vain. If God had an eternal purpose, His purpose would never have begun. Neither would it ever be finished. The words eternal, eternity, everlasting, and forever all mean “without beginning or ending.” Let us give you an example to prove that all purposes must end or be just wishful thinking. If you had an eternal purpose to bake a pie, it would never be baked, as you would never begin, or if you did begin, it would never be finished.

The phrase “endless ages of eternity” is also incorrect (reference unknown). There can be no “endless ages.” All ages have a beginning and ending. The very fact that they are plural proves one must end before another can begin. Time and eternity are not equivalent, but directly opposed to each other as there is no time in eternity. So often we have been asked “where will you spend eternity?” We cannot spend eternity as we can time. We can spend ages or eons, but never eternity as it has neither time nor ending. The Bible is God’s revelation of His plan for all mankind during these eons. Isa. 57:15 is the only place where eternity is truly mentioned, referring to God.

D. THE PURPOSE OF THE 3 HEAVENS AND EARTHS

Notice the three Heavens and earths noted at the top of the first, third and eighth eons. Paul was caught up to the Third Heaven not as layer cake, but ahead in time to the New Heaven and Earth. He was given a revelation of the Eons. His vision goes beyond that of John on the Isle of Patmos, as John saw only things connected with TIME. But Paul was given a glimpse of Eternity when all times will have finished their purpose and “God is ALL IN ALL.” “God, everything in everyone.” – Dutch translation of 1 Cor. 15:20-28.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth as one single unit. The phrase “Heaven and Hell” used so much in religion is not found in the Bible. Heaven and Earth always go together and so we find it in Rev. 21:1: “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness” for “the whole earth is full of His glory” 2 Pet. 3:13; Isa. 6:3. God’s purpose continues to flow, bringing all back into Himself. From the first original creation of the heavens and earth, through the second present fallen evil heavens and earth, into the new third heaven and earth.

E. THE CHURCH WITH ITS VARIOUS ORDERS

The smaller circle to the right of the Cross depicts the church with its orders in various stages of growth. These ranks or classes continue throughout all the eons until all is subdued unto the Son (who sits over His own house cleansing and purifying it). When all is subjected UNTO Him then He, Himself, becomes subject unto the Father returning the Kingdom unto Him (the Father), so that God be ALL IN ALL – 1 Cor. 15:20-28.

Eight large eons have been depicted in this chart. Eight is the number of a New Beginning or New Creation. It is Jesus’ number as he was raised on the FIRST DAY of the week (after Passover), or the EIGHTH DAY (if you start with the first day of the previous week during Passover). This is the anti-type of the wave-sheaf and wave-loaves waved before the Lord on the first day of the week (during Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread) – Lev. 23:11. It is the EIGHTH EON through the process of the NEW HEAVEN AND EARTH that all things are consummated and made new – Rev. 21:5.

A new eon begins when both HEAVEN and EARTH are changed. That is, when the geographical, economical, and political order of the world changes. There can be many ages in one eon. These ages usually refer to dispensations or eras. Since the cross, we have passed through many ages during these last 2,000 years – dark ages, space age, computer age, etc., but we are still in this PRESENT EVIL EON, which began after the flood. Since an AGE has lost its true meaning, we prefer to use the Greek word aeion, which is transliterated into English as “EON.

The eons and world orders synchronize. When the world order changes then an eon also changes. The world speaks of system and the eon speaks of time. The eons harmonize. We can see how the dovetail making one united whole. The first eon corresponds with the eight (Angelic and New Heaven – both in a higher realm); the second eon with the seventh (chaos and judgment – water and fire) – 2 Pet. 3:5-13 refer to these periods; the third eon with the sixth (Eden and the Millennium – neither are perfect); the fourth eon with the fifth (Conscience and Present Evil Eon) – “… as the DAYS of Noah were, so shall the COMING OF THE SON OF MAN BE” Matt. 24:37-39. Thus, we see the Eons as one glorious whole fulfilling God’s purpose.

Jesus came in the flesh as the sin offering, both fulfilling the promises of God unto Israel and saving the world. In the flesh He was called “the Son of David “, “the Son of Abraham “, “the Son of Adam.” Now in His risen and ascended glory, He sits over His own house, whose house we are – Heb. 3:6. In the coming Kingdom (sixth) Eon He will reign as the perfect Son of Man (EMANUEL – God with or in us) through His many-membered SONSHIP COMPANY – groom company/overcomers. He takes His place over all men. He is HEAD of every man – 1 Cor. 11:3. In the Judgment Eon He rules as the Son of God. This is a higher spiritual order as the old heavens and earth fled away from the face of Him that sat upon THE WHITE THRONE (white denoting illumination) – Rev. 20:11. In the New Heaven and Earth Eon He rules as GOD in the midst of His people. A CITY whose gates never close – Rev. 22. All will be taught of God, all will know Him, all will worship and adore Him proclaiming with one united voice that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father – Phil. 2:10-11.

The church (which is His body) is going through correction and discipline right now. Judgment begins at the house of God. All must go through the second death, which is a dying to self to attain unto rulership in the coming Kingdom. This process is seen by the five orders in the church circle in the present evil age, which are tares, chaff, 30 fold, 60 fold, and 100 fold. The tares (carnal thoughts injected by Satan) and the chaff (sinful flesh nature) will be burned with the unquenchable Holy Ghost fire – Lk. 12:49; Matt. 3:11. The 30 fold (nominal Christians) and the 60 fold (bride company) go through further correction unto maturity in the oncoming eon, but the 100 fold (groom company; sonship company; overcomers) are fully clothed with Christ within and without and lifted up in Him into a higher realm, as seen by the very small circle above the present evil age. The overcomers of this church age are but a firstfruit and not the whole harvest. The full harvest will come during the Eons – Jam. 1:8; Eph. 2:7; Acts 15:14-19.

Three arrows point to the higher realm, speaking of three resurrection groups. The first being the better Resurrection of the Old Testament Saints. The second being the Out-Resurrection of those who died in faith. Seeing this truth, these first two groups are changed with the third, which are those who are alive and remain (the 100 fold order), which are many coming forth out of great tribulation. These are all classified as the First Resurrection in union with CHRIST and as the Firstfruit Company – Rev. 20:5-6. These are the Sons of the resurrection – Lk. 20:35. These ruling and judging with Christ cleanse, arrange, and set up the coming Millennial Kingdom. The Judgment Seat described at the top of the sixth eon shows the different orders of rulership over this period (sun, moon, and star glories) – 1 Cor. 15:35-49. These minister in all realms seen or unseen. This period is for the cleansing of Israel – Matt. 19:28; Rom. 11:26.

F. THE PURPOSE OF FIRE

In the Bible we are told that the natural man cannot understand the things of God, as they are spiritually discerned – 1 Cor. 2:14. Therefore, much of it cannot be taken literally, as it is symbolic, especially the book of Revelation. Such is the case with the word fire. Generally, it is symbolic of God’s cleansing, purging judgment for correction unto deliverance. For example, let us notice some of these phrases: coal of fire (Isa. 6:6), refiner’s fire (Mal. 3:2), bush on fire (Ex. 3:2), salted with fire (Mk. 9:49), saved by fire (1 Cor. 3:15), hell fire (Mk. 9:47), lake of fire (Rev. 20:14), Holy Ghost fire (Matt. 3:11), God is a consuming fire (Heb. 12:29), and tormented in this fire (Lk. 16:24). All of these can only be applied in a spiritual way. They symbolize God’s different degrees and spheres of correction. Through the experience of suffering God brings all into maturity. Even Jesus learned obedience through the things that He suffered – Heb. 5:8.

G. THE PURPOSE OF THE SECOND DEATH

Only in the book of Revelation (which is literally filled symbols) do we find the phrase “SECOND DEATH.” The definition of the second death is found in Rev. 20:14: “The lake of fire, which is THE SECOND DEATH.” So, we find that the lake of fire and second death are synonymous terms. We have misapplied them to the unsaved, but they are a serious warning to believers. “He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death”Rev. 2:11. This is the first mention concerning the second death. Should it not be setting forth its true meaning for later references? It is being spoken to believers.

The second death is not God’s goal, but a process to God’s goal. It speaks of time. This is seen as we compare these scriptures, especially noticing these words: hurt (Rev. 2:11), tormented in the presence of the lamb (Rev. 14:9-11), hath no power (Rev. 20:6), part or portion (Rev. 21:8), and death and hell are cast into the lake of fire (Rev. 20:14). These are “conditions” and man’s greatest enemies! Destroyed! If this is speaking of eternity, then Jesus Himself (as the lamb) and the Holy angels will ever be standing at the brink of the lake of fire so these unfortunate spirits may be tormented in their presence. Praise God, we know that these words imply degrees and lengths of punishment. Some will be hurt; others held under its power, some receiving only their portion, while others are completely cast into it, receiving the whole process of God’s purging fire. Thank God we can go through it now, dying to self, allowing the cross to “cross-out” our own will, that His life may come forth! Self swallowed up in Him! First, we die to outward sin, and then we die to inward sin. This is a second death process.

God’s seconds are always better than His firsts: first and second birth, old and new creation, first and second Adam, old and new covenant, etc. These seconds engulf the firsts. Following this type, why cannot we believe that the second death will also cancel out the first death? Especially, as we read “The last enemy to be destroyed is death!”1 Cor. 15:26. How does God destroy death? By making all alive! “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ (Second Adam) shall all be made alive” 1 Cor. 15:22

Even in the seemingly hard pronouncement of judgment upon the wicked found in Rev. 14:11 and 20:10, God leaves His clue to those searching for truth. “And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night.” “Forever and ever” does not correspond with day and night, for day and night end. There is neither day nor night (without end) in eternity – Rev. 22:3-5. Also, the phrase “forever and ever” does not make sense in our English language. If “ever” already means without end, then how can there be two? If this O (circle) means “ever “, then where are you going to put the “and ever?” Clearly this proves the correct translation of this phrase is “for the eons of the eons “, which has a time limit in accordance with day and night. Thus, all judgment is temporary and is remedial for deliverance, development, and growth – Isa. 26:9.

There will be no unbelievers in the lake of fire. Paul is our pattern – 1 Tim. 1:13-16. He was breathing out curses and blasphemies, but the moment he saw Jesus he was conquered and changed, crying, “What will you have me to do?” He could not resist the Shekinah glory of God that shone upon him. Then, God took him through a life of daily suffering (second death) as he said, “I die daily.” These fiery trials of correction and discipline brought him into the very image of God. God is a consuming fire. Fire turns all that is cast into it into its own likeness, changing and lifting it into a new element or realm. He gives beauty for ashes. In like manner, at the Great White Throne Judgment all will believe! But all (except the overcomers) will have to go through their judgment, lake of fire, which is the SECOND DEATH. The whole creation shall be made into the image of God. This was God’s intention from the first – Gen. 1:26.

H. THE EONS TYPIFIED IN THE YEAR OF JUBILEE

In the year of Jubilee (in the Old Testament) every man was set free. His kinsman could redeem him ahead of time (before Jubilee) when he paid the price. If a man could not pay the price, he was set free in the year of Jubilee, anyway. This was God’s law (Lev. 25:13) and typifies God’s greater law of the Eons. As our elder kinsman brother, He redeems us now by His grace to be a first fruit witness to all creation through the coming eons – each man coming forth in his own order. When the eons have finished their course, the whole creation will be set free in God’s greater Jubilee. Jesus paid the ransom for all. He subdues all things unto Himself – 1 Tim. 2:6; Phl. 3:21.

This was my vision given by the Spirit while under the power of God. THE RAYS OF THE CROSS went out to every Eon and Dispensation. The top of the cross went to the highest heavens, the cross bars spanning the universe, the base descending to the deepest hell; the whole universe feeling its impact and glory, taking away the sin of the world. This expression of God’s influence, power, and love will continue to shine out of His own heart until all come under His sway: saved, purified, changed and drawn back into Himself – Rom. 11:36. “GOD ALL IN ALL!” May the drawing of this vision on this chart be used for the Glory of God.

CHAPTER SEVEN

THE UNSPEAKABLE REST

Oh, the unspeakable rest and joy that flooded my soul. Every question and problem faded away in the overwhelming love of God, expressed in the Christ of the Cross.

Such trust and confidence entered my heart concerning God’s plan for His whole creation. All are in His care, in His hand, and in His control. All are being saved and purified and fashioned into His own image – each in their own time and order. No one is left out, but all fulfilling their predestined purpose and completing their own place and time in God’s great cycle of love.

Little children who died in infancy will grow and mature, being taught in the invisible realm. Thus, bringing glory to God as they also are conformed into the image of God – Jer. 31:15-17; Matt. 2:17. They will stand in their own lot preordained of God.

The heathen will hear the gospel, believe, and be saved. They will go through their period of judgment for discipline and correction for growth and maturity in Christ.

All the under-privileged, retarded, maimed, or crippled in body or soul (mind) will be restored and repaid for the part they played in the great scheme and plan of God. All will know Him from the least to the greatest. We who are the first ones quickened and awakened by the drawing of the Spirit only have an eonian or age-lasting advantage over any that seem to be left out of the program of God in this day. For when the purpose of the eons is accomplished, all will be saved and God will be “all and in all “. That is “everything in everyone” – Dutch translation. This will equalize everything in eternity, when all has returned back into God out of which it came – Rom. 11:36; 1 Cor. 15:28. Since no man can come to Jesus except the Father draw him, all must await his appointment. We have the assurance that all shall be taught of God and all that learn of Him shall come unto Him – John 6:44-45. We are being corrected, chastened, and disciplined for our development in order to qualify as rulers and saviors in the coming eons – Ob. 1:21.

The First-fruit Company being called and chosen today as a small remnant, shall be an example of how God will save the rest of creation in their own order and time – 1 Cor. 15;23. This glorious manifested Body of Sons, of whom Jesus is the Head, shall be used to display God’s exceeding grace and love to the whole universe in the Eons to come – Eph. 2:7 The whole creation is waiting and groaning for the manifestation (unveiling) of these Sons. When they come forth in the very image and likeness of Christ, then “the creation itself also shall be loosed from the bonds of corruption and share in the glorious liberty of the Sons of God”Rom. 8:19-23

We’ll present a natural problem in algebra. The letter X is a placeholder for an unknown value. When we find the value of X, then the problem can be solved. In like manner, these that are saved now and follow on to know the Lord, being willing to suffer with Him, shall also reign with Him. They will have a part in the government of God and, like X, they will reach their perfection and shall be used to solve the whole problem of the universe. These firstfruits are not taken out of the world, but are called ahead to help save those coming later – Act. 15:14-17.

The Bible meaning of the word judgment in the original Greek language has a much different meaning than our usage of it. In our English language we have taken the definition from the dictionary giving it the meaning of a judge reaching a verdict or decision; or a sentence given to a criminal. Even in our courts this sentence is not vindictive or for punishment only, but for rehabilitation so that the one sentenced may again become a useful citizen in our society. The religious world has made this word to mean God’s eternal sentence of doom or damnation, without any hope, not doing the one sentenced any good or giving God any glory! This is not the true meaning in the original Greek language in which the New Testament was written. Biblical JUDGMENT actually means to set things right with the intention to deliver and save.

This is shown in the dealing of the man born blind. Jesus spoke these words, My coming into the world is itself a JUDGMENT; those who cannot see have their eyes opened, and those who THINK they see become blind.” Some of the Pharisees near him overheard this and said, “so we’re blind, too, are we?” “If you were blind,” returned Jesus, “nobody could blame you, but, as you INSIST that you can see, your guilt remains” John 9:39-41 (Phillips translation). Since they would not repent and believe in Jesus, they were actually blind and remained so. The man who was born blind, when he saw Jesus, he believed and worshipped Him. Therefore, he was the one who could truly see.

Another example of this Bible Judgment is seen in the trial of the woman taken in adultery – John 8:3-11. Here Jesus actually stands as a judge. He is giving a foretaste of the great judgment to come. In this incident He exposes the true situation, turning the tables upon those self-righteous men. One by one they leave convicted by their own conscience, but the woman is forgiven and loosed from her sin. Jesus said unto her, “…neither do I condemn thee. Go and sin no more.” He did not condemn her, but neither did he condone her [actions]. Hallelujah! He set her free by His word of command “Go and sin no more!”

The judgment of Jesus Christ is unto VICTORY, TRUTH, RIGHTEOUSNESS, REDEMPTION, WARNING, and REWARD. “A bruised reed shall He not break and smoking flax shall He not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory” Matt. 12:20, which is quoted from Isa. 42:3-4. “He shall bring forth judgment unto truth. He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till He have set judgment in the earth.” And, again, we read “For when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.” “Zion is REDEEMED with JUDGMENT.Isaiah. 1:27

“The Judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.Psa. 19:9-11

The judgments of God are not God’s end, or final sentence, but only a process to His ultimate goal, which is THE SALVATION OF EVERY PERSON BY AND THROUGH JESUS CHRIST.

Another definition of the word “judgment or punishment” in the Greek is kolasis, meaning correction or restraint. The two times this word is used in the New Testament it is given as a warning to believers. “And these shall be coming away into chastening eonian, yet the just into life eonian”Matt. 25:46 CCV. “Fear is not in love, but perfect love is casting out fear, for fear has chastening. 1 John 4:18

In the judgment of the sheep and the goats found in Matt 25:32-46, we know that the goat was a clean animal used in sacrifice, typifying the sacrifice of Jesus as our sin-offering. Thus these saints are being chastened and corrected further for their goat nature, as leaders having no concern or divine love for the needy brethren. These believers waiting in fear are living in constant anxiety, which is torment or chastening. There is a need of greater love that brings perfect peace, and “faith, which worketh in love.Gal. 5:6

There is a possibility of being restrained or retarded 1,000 years; having no part or share in the glorious reign of Christ – Rev. 20:5-6. These [spirits] will not be in light part or governmental part of the Kingdom, but be outside the city gates with the dogs and unbelievers. Jesus calls this “outer-darkness where there is weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth”Rev. 22:15; Lk. 12:46; Matt. 22:13.

I will give a natural illustration of a high school student. Being an irresponsible teenager, he neglected his studies to fool away his time, thereby, failing his grades, he was not allowed to graduate with his class on graduation day. Though he apologized to the principle and his teachers, saying that he was truly sorry and even promised to study diligently during his school vacation and the following school term, he still could not graduate with his class. The opportunity was gone. He was retarded (or held back). Though that did not keep him from obtaining his diploma when he had made his grades by himself at a later date. However, he still missed the honor and glory of [the original] graduation day!

May this be one of the answers to those who say, “If all are going to be saved anyway, why not have my fun now and wait until I die and then go through my judgment?” That is a very false premise for the following reasons:

1) Today we may be saved by grace, receiving all the blessings of a Christian life, and the true inner joy of serving Him in love and not out of fear.

2) Though our chastening is grievous at the present time (in this life), afterwards it brings the peaceable fruits of righteousness in our lives – Heb. 12:11.

3) By waiting we only bring a greater punishment upon ourselves, especially if we had light and failed to walk in it. “Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy who troddeth under foot the Son of God and hath counted the blood of the covenant wherewith he was sanctified an unholy thing and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? …The Lord shall JUDGE HIS PEOPLE.Heb. 10:26-30

4) A person (who waits) will see all his works revealed and exposed to the view of all and then see them (his works) go up in smoke while he stands there naked and ashamed.

5) However, the person (who waits) shall be saved “as by means of fire” – 1. Cor. 3:13-15; 1 John 2:28; Cev. 16:15.

6) Not only will he miss the glorious reign of Christ, but also miss becoming a member of the Body of Christ for these are being called and chosen and qualified now.

We would not dare to present the reconciliation message without warning the believers of the danger of failing at the Judgment Seat of Christ, suffering eonian loss, and only being finally saved through judgment.

Therefore we urge all to accept Jesus Christ as Savior now, be filled with the [Holy] Spirit, and come under the chastening rod for growth and development. “Judgment begins at the house of God”1 Pet. 4:17. “And we are His house” Heb. 3:6. Christ as a Son is now sitting over His own house, bringing it unto His own perfection and glory. By His own life within us He is changing us into His own image and likeness. To bring this about, God even chastens and scourges every son of His whom he receives (Heb. 12:6) —not out of vengeance or faultfinding, but because He desires for every son whom He receives to be fully developed and able to fill his place in His government. Why do we correct our children even unto corporeal punishment? Is it not because we want them to grow up into manhood and become responsible citizens? This I want you to consider: “As a man chasteneth his son, so the Lord thy God chasteneth thee” Deut. 8:5. Chasten means in the Hebrew and Greek “to convict, instruct, and train.” All three of these can be painful, but for our good. “Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not the chastening of the Almighty:”Job 5:17.

None can escape this loving and corrective judgment of the Father. Paul said, “I must die daily that life may be imparted unto you.” We also must die to our self-life in order to enter fully into HIS-LIFE and be used of Him as His great body of sons who will release all creation. Death is swallowed up in life. “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death (law of Moses).Rom. 8:2 “For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened; not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. 2 Cor. 5:5

Nothing shall be lost or wasted. God uses all for His ultimate glory. He is no respecter of persons. He loves all equally even as He loves His only begotten son – John 17:23-26. Jesus prayed for this equality of the Father’s love and glory.

Though many questions have arisen during the years, the assurance of God’s unfailing love which he gave me that day has never wavered. Instead it has become an anchor to my soul (mind), both sure and steadfast, entering into that which is behind the veil and – Glory of Glories! – even that veil shall be removed, and we shall know [Him] even as we are known [by Him].

The true light now shineth. It is illuminating every man that cometh into the world – John 1:9. It is shining more and more unto that perfect day when all shall be understood and everything made equal – God reaching His own ultimate plan, the great cycle of love completed: God all in all! Everything in everybody! This is true love in the full expression of the cross.

May God grant us light in these momentous days in which we live so that we may enter into these wonderful truths. In Him may we become an intelligent and cooperative part in His great plan of redemption revealed in and during the eons.

THE CHART

Dora’s vision was originally printed on what appears to be legal-sized paper. In order to keep it legible and easily reproducible for the average computer user, the vision was photographed as three sections – left, center, and right. With a little effort the reader could create a whole chart from these three sections. – Mark Sarsfield

These charts are not available in this edition.
