Ezek. 43:10-12…10 Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern. 11] And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them. 12] This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house. (KJV)

1 Pet. 2:5

5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. (KJV)

Heb. 3:1-6…1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; 2 Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house. 3 For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honor than the house. 4 For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God. 5 And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after; 6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. (KJV)

This is a study of the house that God built. This house was not built with stone and mortar or wood and cloth, but it was built from the dust of the ground and fashioned and embossed with the image and likeness of its creator. This house was made with the finest materials in the universe and put together in such harmony and unity as to boggle the mind. The house that God built was built to exist through the ages of time and has all the components within it to live on in immortal life. The fact that it doesn’t live immortally will be a major part of this study. The house we are writing about is, of course, the human body. The human body has been studied throughout the history of the world and has been examined and dissected both in gross anatomical procedures in the ages past and in microscopic detail in the present age of awesome technology. Invariably, the student of the human body and its functions comes away with a sense of awe and wonder at the design and function of this organism. Only the most strident denier of the existence of a higher power comes away without a stronger belief in the Creator of this house after studying the structure and function of its parts. The reason for this is the perfect design of the house that we call our body. When healthy, the human body was made with such beauty and harmony that God inspired the writers of the scriptures to constantly refer to it as an example of health or sickness in the body of Christ, of which He is the head. As we study this building I pray that you too will never be the same and that God will never be the same in your eyes, for He is the original genetic engineer that conceived and birthed this thing called man.

It is for this very reason that I want to share with you what the Lord has shown to me concerning the human body and the secrets hidden within it. We all want to know more about God, of His ways and how He thinks and acts. There are some who believe that we will never know the intents of God’s heart and that we should not concern ourselves with any studies other than in the scriptures themselves. Their favorite scripture is the one that follows:

Isa. 55:8-9…8] For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9] For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. (KJV)

To be sure, this scripture does let us know that you must come higher if you are to know His thoughts. God is not going to lower Himself down to our thinking, we are going to have to rise up to His thinking. In fact, the New Testament has a more reassuring statement concerning the knowledge of the Lord.

Luke 10:21…21] In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight. (KJV)

1 Cor 2:9-13…9] But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10] But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11] For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12] Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13] Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. (KJV)

My interest in the human body was something that God put in my heart back in the early 1980’s. The Lord had been dealing with my heart about going back to school and taking classes. This was quite a shock to me since I had graduated from High School in 1967 and was not one that loved school. My home life was one that would be termed, “dysfunctional” as both of my parents had problems with alcohol and physical abuse. I never did pay too much attention to my grades and was satisfied with just getting by without falling back a grade until graduation. As a result, I graduated but didn’t learn anything that I carried on in my later life, especially when the Lord called me into the ministry and I spent my life traveling and being led by the spirit in the scriptures and bible-related subjects. I couldn’t believe it when the Lord told me to go back to school! I really didn’t see any way financially for me to go either, since Charlotte and I were being totally supported by our full time ministry on the road. You can imagine my surprise when Charlotte told me that she also felt I was to go to college and take classes. We both started to pray and the Lord did indeed move for us. We had two very good friends, Winnie Mae and Roger Rich, who lived in Austin, TX at this time and Winnie Mae came to me and said the Lord told her to pay for my tuition at school. What a miracle this was! Winnie Mae and Roger have gone on to be with the Lord now, and I would like to state for the record that if you get any blessing from this study and what the Lord has shown me concerning the body of Christ as it relates to the human body, it is all because of my dear Texas friend Winnie Mae who heard the Lord and believed Him even when I couldn’t. I only wish I could have been released to write this while she was still on this side of the river, but I know she is watching over me and rejoicing with us from the presence of the Lord! Thank you Mae.

The Lord spoke to me to take Pre-Med classes, which did not thrill my heart. I was hoping to take all Physical Education classes or to major in drivers ed. or something, but the Lord picked my worst nightmare, science. I tried to tell Him of this serious blunder on His part but did not receive a reprieve from this horrendous sentence, no matter how much I howled and cried. I still could not figure out why the Lord wanted me to go to school. I eventually, with much grumbling and griping under my breath, came to the conclusion that God was tired of my preaching and was putting me into another career. Pre-Med classes let me know that I was supposed to become some sort of doctor and so I thought that maybe I would become a chiropractor and hold meetings with free spinal adjustments after each service. I know, I know, I worry about the way my mind works too. But that is the only sense I could make out of what the Lord was doing to me by having me go back to school. I can almost hear Jesus saying, “How long, how long must I put up with this?” while I tried to figure this out. I took classes at David Lipscomb University, a Church of Christ college in Nashville, TN that was recommended to me because of their excellent science department. I enjoyed the experience of learning from professors that were not only highly qualified but also had a knowledge of the Lord. The only thing I didn’t like was having to go to the chapel every day and try to get something out of the service. As you may know, Churches of Christ do not believe in musical instruments played during service so they have a beautiful and unique congregational singing with all the voices blending in with flowing harmony. Beautiful, but very structured and formal. I found myself being embarrassed at times, such as when, during one of the first chapels I attended and also one of the more inspiring worship services, all the men stopped singing on cue and only the women were to sing the remaining words of the verse, which is the precise moment when I am really starting to get with it and am singing at the top of my voice, the lone male voice in the chapel, echoing off the hallowed and formal walls of the illustrious gathering and revealing clearly and loudly to all, near and far, that there is an outsider amongst the chosen. Needless to say, I never did enjoy chapel after that, what with my singing always being a half step behind everyone else, trying to look before I sang, so to speak.

In spite of the early adjustments that had to be made and being known as the “old man” of the freshman class, I eventually fell into the rhythm of school and attending classes. I loaded my schedule with science and math classes, still thinking the Lord had me mixed up with someone else, when I attended my first class in Biology 101. I sat there, feeling very uncomfortable as each young man and woman looked at my with suspicious eyes, just knowing that their parents had hired me to spy on them and send reports of their behavior back to their parents, when the professor displayed on the wall a huge picture of a human cell. As he started introducing the class to the cell and the organelles within the cell membrane I kept looking at it with a feeling of vague familiarity. I couldn’t put my finger on it, but I just knew I had seen that structure before. Then, in a divine moment, with the suddenness of a lightning bolt hitting my mind, I saw not a cell, but the Tabernacle of Moses! This particular cell was even rectangular like the Tabernacle and as I studied the structure and the compartments within its walls I was convinced that it was the exact replica of the “pattern” that God spoke to Moses in an admonishment,

Heb. 8:5for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount. (KJV)

From that moment on, I was no longer in class, I was in heaven! I couldn’t wait to get to class each day to learn more and more about this “pattern” of the true tabernacle, not pitched with hands but by the Word of God. Each day that went by I was caught away in glory, as I witnessed the scriptures becoming flesh. The only trouble I had in the days to come were to try not to make a fool of myself by jumping up on my desk and having a tongue talking, leg slapping, feet dancing, hallelujah shouting fit. Everything that man said in that classroom had a significance to my spirit as it related to my experiences in the body of Christ. This was true not only in Biology but was also experienced in Chemistry classes and Psychology classes. Chemistry is full of Kingdom principles and corresponds with our foundational belief that nothing is ever destroyed, only changed. Glory to God dear hearts, that is a principle that didn’t start when men of old first wrote it down in words, that principle was already in effect from the beginning! God is the great, original Chemist of the universe and it was Him that designed the chemical change of properties and levels of energy. He is energy! He is light! He is spirit! Can you see the continuity of truth? The scripture says,

Col. 1:12-17…12] Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13] Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14] In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15] Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16] For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17] And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. (KJV)

Every law, whether it is the Law of Moses, or the law of Newton, was made by God and was instituted as a type or shadow of things in the heavens. Nothing in the natural has come to be simply because it survived by chance or by random survival of the fitness. Everything is, because God wanted it to be. Also, it all is there for us to see and to know in order to give us a glimpse of the image and likeness of God. The only trouble with the church and science is that the church can’t receive scientific facts that dispute and reveal the errors of the doctrine of the church. Dear friends in God, I have found nothing in the realm of scientific facts that dispute what we see in God with the revelation that has been revealed to us concerning the eventual salvation of all men. Rather, the laws of science that have been instituted in the earth and heavens by our Father, the Creator of all things, abide unchanged, giving eonian testimony to the character and nature of the Great Architect of the universe.

As an example, Chemistry defines energy as the “capacity to do work or transfer heat.” The First Law of Thermodynamics, also known as the first law of energy, states that “the total amount of energy in the universe is constant.” God, the Creator of all things, the Father of all things by which He made of Himself, is a constant, unchangeable force. The scripture uses the English word , “spirit” when describing the substance of God. The Greek word is “pneuma” which can be used in reference not only to God but also to unclean spirits. See for example the following verses:

Matt. 3:16…16] And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: (KJV)

Mark 1:23…23] And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out, (KJV)

Strong’s Concordance lists this definition for “pneuma”:

4151 pneuma (pnyoo’-mah); from 4154; a current of air, i.e. breath (blast) or a breeze; by analogy or figuratively, a spirit, i.e. (human) the rational soul, (by implication) vital principle, mental disposition, etc., or (superhuman) an angel, demon, or (divine) God, Christ’s spirit, the Holy Spirit: KJV– ghost, life, spirit (-ual, -ually), mind. Compare 5590.

The point I want to make in this is that we sometimes refer to the Spirit of God as something separate from the spirit, or life, or energy that abides in the natural universe. The natural law of Thermodynamics agrees with the biblical concept of the God that fills all things. The scripture states:

Eph. 4:4-6…4] There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5] One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6] One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (KJV)

I want to drop a thought within you. The natural law of Thermodynamics states that the energy of the world is constant and is never changed in amount. In other words, it is never added to or taken away from, but is the same throughout the eons. We also say of God that He is the same, yesterday, today and forever, He changes not. We in this word of reconciliation also have come to the conclusion that nothing in God is ever lost. We believe that all that has been created by Him will also be redeemed by Him, not that He really wishes He could, as the church states, but that emphatically and undeniably He will!! This message of the Kingdom of God corresponds and agrees with the basic laws of the chemical world. Nothing is lost or gained. We cannot add to ourselves or take from ourselves.

Matt. 6:27…27] Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? (KJV)

Col. 2:10…10] And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: (KJV)

We, dear ones, cannot get anymore of God than what we have already. When He built this house He moved into it, lock, stock and barrel. The fullness of the Godhead abides in us bodily! He is not coming to us, we are going to Him! There is not anymore of Him to come to us, He has filled us completely with Himself and even brought all heaven with Him. Oh Glory to His name. The universe and the things therein cry out in witness to His oneness with all of creation. Everything that came out of Him will end up back into Him, but CHANGED. That is a Kingdom word. The first day and second day people cannot lay hold of that word. CHANGED is our word, those of you that have walked through the heat of the desert, leaving the oasis of religion in search of a new life in God, that life that you read about in the scriptures that if any man partakes of, He would never die! This is the day of change, the day of transformation and I want you to know that you will see God as He is, not as He seems to be as we squint looking at Him through symbols or types or shadows or gazing through a filtered window, but face to face, mouth to mouth, beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, we will be changed into that same expression. But we will not possess any more of Him at that day than we do now. He is the constant presence in our life, the same Logos that created all things is even now in our mouth! Not a substitute, not an inferior representative, not something that tastes a lot like God, looks like God, feels like God, but has 50% fewer calories, but the real thing! He is the All that is in the all, and the all that He is in will see Him and know Him as He is and not as we thought He was.

The church has been faithful to teach us all things about the scriptures and the stories that are found in the pages of the Bible, but they have put their own interpretation on the meaning of the hallowed writings and, as a result, they are endlessly argued over. Science, on the other hand, has taken hold of a search for “facts” and will only accept those things that are found to be without argument. They give room for much discourse and debate over other things that are not truly fact but theory. All scientific discoveries of facts started in theory. As a result, they have made tremendous bounds forward in the past 100 years as the mysteries of the natural world were deciphered with great speed. Now, some may think different, but I have always felt that God alone gives knowledge. When you think about it, the explosion of scientific discovery coincides remarkably with the movements of the spirit of God in the last 100 years. From the age of enlightenment to the outpouring of Pentecost into the latter rain movement and onward into the sonship movement, there is a credible relationship between the moves of God’s spirit and the revelations within the scientific world.

The biggest shame of it all is that the church has chosen to leave carnal, unregenerated scientists in control of the rich truths of the created world simply because they clash with the false teachings of the church. These men and women are laying hold on truths that can only be put into their proper perspective in God by those that have been regenerated by the spirit of God. We will attempt to bring out some of those truths that have been labeled “scientific fact” and reveal them in their true identity, that is, basic principles of the nature and character of the invisible God displayed in the earth and heavens as a mirror of His being.

Indeed, the Lord, as the artist and engineer behind the design and function of the universe declares the heavens and earth to be His handiwork and they should be studied as a Self-portrait of God. Every artist leaves a part of himself in his creation. So it is with God.

One can learn a lot about the builder of a house by simply studying the structure itself. If you were given the chance to build the home of your dreams and you had no limit of resources at your disposal it would be interesting to see what your house would be composed of. Would it be dramatic, or casual? Would it be one story or three stories, made of wood or stone, cheerful and simple or imposing and complex, colorful or subdued? Then we would walk inside and see what types of furnishings you stocked it with. Would it be symmetrical or rambling on the inside? Wide open spacious rooms or private and hidden? Would you have a country look, a modern look, stainless steel or natural oak, coordinated colors or an eclectic collection of wild colors? The choice would be yours and your choice would tell us something about you and what you like and don’t like. We could find out if you were a private person or an outgoing person by the structure of your house, if you were a parent or a single person, thrifty or extravagant, and so on. What does the structure and function of our body tell us about God? I will leave most of that to you during this study and let you use your discernment in the spirit to look inside of yourself and find the pieces of the puzzle, when put together will become a portrait of the invisible God. He is only invisible because we have been looking for Him in all the wrong places. Some people have looked for Him in stained glass churches, in religious rituals and dead dogmas of man’s concept of who God is. Some look for God in the mountains of Tibet, or in the streets and hillsides of the natural city of Jerusalem. Others have just plain stopped looking for Him. Discouraged, hurt and let down by the false image that the Babylonian religious system presented to them, they have given up all hope of ever finding Him. Men will never find God in those things. Hints of Him, mysterious clues of His existence, yes, possibly so, but let us leave the principles and teachings about God and let us go on to KNOW God! Always learning about God and never coming to know Him is akin to spending our life studying the street sign that points to God without ever taking the road that leads to Him.

We will not be looking into the heavens in this study, although we could and we would indeed find His handiwork there and the message of His plan for the ages, as our friend, Preston Eby so eloquently told us in his magnificent study, “The Heavens Declare.” Rather, we will be going to the other side of the spectrum, by turning our thoughts inward, toward the very foundation of our most personal and intimate world, our body. As we delve into those parts of our body that have only recently been brought to light by science, let us not be fearful of the technical aspect of this study. I have found, in the few times that I have ministered in meetings about the body and what it means to us in relationship to God, that people tend to think they cannot grasp the language of the medical world because they may not have had the educational opportunities some of us have had. Let me lay your fears to rest. I will do my very best not to use terminology that will leave you befuddled. If I do, and I am sure there will be times I will have to, I will try to always fully explain those terms in language that anyone can understand and grasp. While I find it somewhat amusing to think that anyone would think me to be too deep for them, I cannot deny what some have told me in times past. In fact, all of us are fearful of things that we have had no prior experience in. I have found it to be that a car mechanic knows just as much as a medical doctor, it is just that each one deals with a different machine. The car mechanic, if he is a good one, has just as many car parts memorized and can tell you what their purpose and function is in the engine as the medical doctor has body parts memorized and can tell you what they do in the body. All we have to do is learn new terminology, the way things work remain the same. The car mechanic will tell you to keep your oil clean or else your engine is going to clog up and not run right. The doctor will tell you to eat the right foods in your diet or else your body is going to clog up and not run right. Most of you know more than I do about the structure and design of the Tabernacle of Moses. All I am going to do is use the same principles, but instead of the word “tabernacle” I will be using “cell,” instead of “outer court” I will be using “cytoplasm,” instead of “holy place” I will be using “nucleus,” instead of “holiest of all” I will be using “nucleolus.” The three segments of the tabernacle of Moses are found in shocking similarity in the human cell, and most of you already know the layout of the biblical tabernacle and so you are already in a position to learn easily the structures of the cell. Most of you already know that the priesthood was in charge of the tabernacle and they were able to go in and out of the tabernacle to minister before the Lord and to offer up sacrifices for the rest of the camp of Israel. Would you be surprised if I told you that the human cell operates in the same way? Instead of priests we will be dealing with “ribosomes” and other molecules that minister to the needs of the cell and that in turn minister to the rest of the body. You are only as healthy in your gross anatomy as your are at your cellular level. When you get sick, you get sick at your cellular level. So it is, that as the priesthood went, so went Israel. If the priesthood was corrupt then Israel became corrupt, if the priesthood was in right standing with God, then Israel was in right standing with God. Different terminology, but the same principles.

It goes without saying that this will be a different kind of newsletter than you may be used to. This study will require THINKING on your part. I will pause now and let you get over the shock of that last statement. I know, I know, you have heard all of your Christian life that you must quit thinking and just blindly walk on in faith and accept what has been told you by the church as being the truth. Well, I am telling you to snap out of it! Wake yourself up out of that religious trance and start to ponder on the things that God has put in our midst for our edification and for His glory! Put on the mind of Christ and start thinking new thoughts. We are being challenged by God today to look at what everyone else has looked at and to be able to see something that has never been seen before. That is what makes the book of Hebrews my favorite book in the bible. The writer of Hebrews took the law, which every Jew read and knew backwards and forward, and revealed Jesus Christ in the midst of it. What a miracle! How did he do it? By thinking upon it and seeing Christ in that which he had used all of his life. Your body has been with you for as long as you have been a part of this world. When was the last time you took time out to learn about it? Could it be that there is a word written upon the tables of your heart that will keep you from sinning against God? Could it be that there is a book of life that is not made up of paper and ink, but rather amino acids and proteins? Could it be that within the DNA of our cells there is a dormant chain of commands that are predetermined by God for a set time to come awake and change our mortal body? Could it be that there are brain cells that God has placed within our brain that have ancient memories stored within them, such as who we are and why we are here, and at the sound of a trump in our earthly body those cells will be raised from the dead and we will know as we are known? THINK!!! What is the crime in thinking on these things? The crime is that the religious church doesn’t want us to think on these things. They want heaven up high and hell down low and God a far off and us so lonesome we could cry. Phooey! Double, triple, quadruple Phooey! I see the Lord, and He’s not on some mountain or over in some desert or hiding out on the other side of Jupiter, but I see the Lord in His temple, His train filling it, the cloud of His presence filling it up until the old order of priesthood cannot minister in the midst of it. Yes! I see the Lord and He is in His temple. Hello Temple!! Hello Holy Tabernacle pitched without hands!! Hello Holy Mountain Of Zion, dwelling place of the most high God, the burning bush of His presence, the beautiful City of God! That is exactly what you are.

Jacob had a dream and in his dream he saw a ladder that was set up on earth and reached up into the heavens. At the top of this ladder was God and there were angels ascending and descending on this ladder. When Jacob awoke this is what he said:

Gen. 28:16-17…16] And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not. 17] And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven. (KJV)

Jacob went on and named that place Bethel, which means the House of God. Do you know what kind of a place you are living in today? Do you know what hallowed ground you are? When Jesus told us, “In my Father’s house there are many mansions” He wasn’t talking about a literal building in the sky somewhere. The word mansion in the Greek means, “a residence, a state of abiding.” Jesus was telling us that in the overall “house” or kingdom of God there were many different levels of “abiding,” but Jesus went on to say, “I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be also.” He did go on to another “abiding” and was the first New Creation Man to enter into a state of being that was to be the prototype for all sons to follow. Jesus became the first New Man, the Heavenly Man, and he has promised to bring us to where He is. That is not going to be a trip to somewhere, it is going to be change of being into what He is! That New Man is in us now, dear ones, and we have been birthed of that incorruptible seed, but as it is with all other seeds so it is with this one. It must be hidden in the earth until the season of fruition. The earth it is hidden in is your body. Where it is hidden at is in the DNA which resides in the “holiest of all” (nucleolus) of your cell. In the months to come, we will take you on a journey through the True Pattern that Moses saw in the mountain, which was none other than the cells of your body. Where did the pattern come from that God showed to Moses? We will show you through the scriptures that God had instituted this pattern when He first made man, the only true habitation of God. Scientists, those without the knowledge of God, will tell you that man is just another animal amongst the animal kingdom and that we are an insignificant organism on an insignificant planet in a galaxy that is just one of many more superior galaxies throughout the universe. But, for those of us that have seen the Lord, and believe His word, we know that regardless of the undeniable connection that we have with the rest of the creatures upon this planet, it is man and man alone that God made in His image and likeness. Jesus did not die on the cross for your dog or cat. I know that is a shock for some of you! He also did not shed His blood for the whale or dolphin, or the eagle or the caterpillar, or the duck-billed platypus. The only thing on God’s mind at the cross was man. That is because only man can sin. Man sins when he acts out of a lower nature instead of his true nature, which is the nature of God. All other beasts can act out their lives as beasts and it will not bother God one bit. He made them beasts and He expects them to be beasts. Man, however, was made with the same earthly makeup as a beast, but under that earthly, dusty exterior lies the substance of a God-Man, the child of God, and he alone is the rightful heir of the name, or nature, of his Father God. Let us understand the subjection that Romans talks about.

Rom 8:19-21…19] For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. 20] For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, 21] Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. (KJV)

This is truly an awesome scripture. The Greek word that King James translates “creature” is “Ktisis” which Strong’s Concordance defines as “original formation.” Our “original formation” is not the formation that we see in our bodies now. Our “creature” was subjected unto a state of vanity, or corruption, which was also embodied with a “hope” of redemption into our “original formation” which is the image and likeness of God. As a result of this mixture of heaven and earth. God and man, darkness and light, we find that man is both the best and worst of all of God’s creation. He is the best because of his brilliance and God-like creativeness and his love and compassion and sense of responsibility and his logical mind. He is the worst because he can do things to his fellow man that makes the most violent and ferocious of animals seem like a saint. Man can be more than a beast, he can be a devil. Man isn’t just violent, he can be mean, cruel, calculating, cunning, ruthless, perverted. Only man kills for the pleasure of killing. How many times have we seen both lion and antelope on the television nature shows, each one drinking from the same water hole and even laying down in the company of one another, each one knowing that when night comes the lion will hunt the antelope and will kill it and eat it. Such is the law of the animal kingdom and each one in that kingdom understands their place and in a strange way gives honor to it by these times of peace before the storm. On the other hand, man will send other men to death simply because they don’t like the way they look, or for the difference of skin color. Mass executions, such as the holocaust, have happened simply because a mad man is convinced that a race of people have no right to exist on earth. Madness! Only man can dream up the kind of evil that we see displayed throughout the history of the world. This is because he isn’t just a man, he is a god, and left to his own creativeness without the “original formation” he is more than a beast, he is anti-christ.

Ah, but all is not lost. Hope abideth! For we know that at the base level of our self, there is a Man that is the inner man, which cannot be seen with microscopes or picked up with x-ray machines but abides nevertheless within all people. That is right, I said within all people. If ALL of us have partaken of Adam, then ALL of us have partaken of Christ. Just as we all have within us the physical, genetic link to that first Adam, we all have within us the spiritual, genetic link to Christ. It is the law of the house. We are the product of all that has gone before us. Even Jesus, whom I believe was born of a virgin, had to partake of Adam’s seed in order to redeem mankind. We will explain this phenomenon in the days to come, and you will find that it is through the woman that our hope of redemption is found, for it is the woman that retains the original DNA molecule from generation to generation, and it is through Eve, a type of the true church, that we will be introduced once again to our “original formation.” This will be explained completely in the future studies.

The field of genetics will play a large part in our study on “The House That God Built.” Genetics is the branch of biology that deals with heredity, the study of how the characteristics of the parents are passed on to the children. This, of course, is the central theme of what the bible story of redemption is based upon. We are heirs of God, children upon whom the estate of God falls according to His will and covenant. All of the promises of God are for ALL generations. The same covenant that God made with Abraham was made to each successive generation, with God introducing Himself as, “The God of your fathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.” When we fully study the genetics of the human body, you will have a greater faith and understanding of the promises of God to you than you ever have before. It was through the act of heredity that Levi paid tithes to Melchizedek.

Heb. 7:9-10…9] And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham. 10] For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchizedek met him. (KJV)

It is the same principle in the spirit as it is in the natural. Everyone focuses on the negative part of the following scripture.

Num. 14:18…18] The LORD is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation. (KJV)

By applying one of the laws of Physics, which states, that for every action, there is always an equal and opposite reaction, I want you to see the faithfulness of God in visiting the third and fourth generations of the guilty, and then see His faithfulness in an equal, but opposite reaction in visiting our third and fourth generations with our righteousness. If sin is passed on, then righteousness must also be passed on. If death can be passed on to Adam’s children, like a virus passes from one person to another, then the life and righteousness of Christ cannot help but be passed on also with equal, but opposite results. In other words, as sure that you are that you will die in Adam, you are just as sure to live in Christ! The “action” of Adam’s sin has been demonstrated fully to us and now God is giving His New Man a “re-action” of “zoe life,” which is life as God has life! Glory!

In the studies to come we will be studying the body systematically, reconstructing it in much the same way that the Tabernacle was reconstructed each time it was transported to a new location. The scripture tells us that the priests set the tabernacle up in a specific way. First, they set up the Ark of the Covenant and then everything else was set up around it, from the Holiest of All outward. We also will conduct this study in a similar fashion. We will start out studying our smallest basic unit of life, our cell. We will study the cell from the nucleolus outward to the nucleus and finally into the cell’s “outer court,” or its cytoplasm. As we have stated, you must be able to view these compartments in the cell in the same way as the compartments in the Tabernacle: holiest of all, holy place, outer court; nucleolus, nucleus, cytoplasm. Our next issue will be the first in a series of teachings on the cell and then we will go on to the next phase of study which will be the organs of our body, which will be a type of our local assemblies and their function in the body of Christ as a whole. We will learn many things that will hopefully teach us how to communicate and become a better part of the body of Christ. From the organs we will go to the next phase, which will be systems. The design is: “cells become organs which become systems which make up an organism.” The message of the “corporate man” that has become so popular today is a message that is preached much but lived out little. The corporate man is only as corporate as the individual believer will allow it to be, just as the health of the body and communication of its parts is only as good as the individual cells allow it to be. My prayer throughout this study is that God will bring us to a new and living way that will allow us to flow as one organism in the earth, not a self-serving, one dimensional, parasitic, single cell amoeba, but a complex, multi-dimensional, body-serving, life-giving member of a corporate vehicle of God’s glory moving through the earth and giving life to all it meets.

My other prayer is that you, the reader, will one day read of a certain part of this immense organism and that you will find yourself and your function in the body of Christ. You may find that you are a heart muscle, or a brain cell, or a T-cell, or a blood platelet, or a liver cell, or an alveoli, or a mitochondria, etc.  Whatever it may be, rest assured the body needs you.
