PART ONE

Ok guys, now just in case I might be interpreted as putting forth that “whatever” goes, i.e. that what we “teach” is not important, or that there is really no “truth” or “error,” let me just go over very briefly what exactly I do teach and share that I believe sets people free…

1) There is One God Only – “Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One”…

This is our starting place, the starting place of scripture and the starting place in the depths of our being and of all that is

“In the beginning God the pregnancy of meaning of those words is the appropriate opening statement of the Bible, and the appropriate opening words of the River of Living Water that flows from the depths of our inner Being, where God dwells in all His fullness and wherein is His 3rd heaven…

2 Timothy 6:15, 16 “[He] who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power everlasting.”

Isaiah 44:6 “Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.”

When He says “beside me there is no God” there is much more here than just the triumph of monotheism over idolatry or pantheism… it means that there is no “person” besides Him, that no consciousness of selfhood exists in the universe that He is not at the bottom of, that there is no self-consciousness of self-existing self, that ultimately ALL that exists is God manifesting Himself in one form or another of His self-expression of Love

2) The Son is the Eternal Expression of the Father and the Underlying Reality of all that has ever existed, both in Heaven and in the earth

Colossians 1:15-17 – “[He] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.”

Hebrews 1:3 – Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power”

Hebrews 1:3 (Amplified Bible) “He is the sole expression of the glory of God – the Light-being, the out-raying [literal Greek] of the divine – and He is the perfect imprint and very image of [God’s] nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power”

The invisible unapproachable unknowable Father has eternally manifested Himself in and as the Son, the “firstborn of all creation,” not meaning that He was “created” but that He, the Son, is the manifest God, the only approach and means of reaching back into the deep mystery of the Godhead, and that the whole universe, animate and inanimate, conscious and unconscious, sentient and non-sentient, rocks, plants, animals, birds, beasts of the deep, angels, spirits, and man have as their underlying reality, the upholding of their very physical or spiritual Being the Logos, the Word, the Son, Who Himself is the cohesion and oneness and Unity of all that is

3) “God is Love” 1 John 4:8

He is the “Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Rev 13:8

Titus 1:2 “God, that cannot lie”

From the depths of eternity God has shown forth His eternal nature, which is not to be for Himself, but instead to forever die to any self-interest and instead to exist in purpose to bless and create and to bestow an Abundant Life of Love and Harmony and Joy throughout His creation, a manifestation of Himself in harmony and song and praise, a universe where Light and the interplay of Love and the interpenetration of Himself with the created personal expressions of Himself with Himself and with each other in Love, which is we ourselves, Loving and interpenetrating each other in the Oneness and Harmony of His eternal Being, so that the whole universe is an eternal Song of Harmonious Praise and Wonder and expanding Creation of Joys and Delights found in the abundance of His Being and Wisdom and Love.

That nature, the Divine Nature, therefore, in order to effect this manifestation of the invisible Deity in Self-giving Love, eternally manifests Himself in the Lamb Slain, who dwells in the midst of the throne, that is, in the Center of God, in His innermost depths, in His Heart, and eternally is manifesting this Cross-Life of “out of death comes life” in every fiber of the universe.

4) The Sons of God have been His plan from the depths of eternity

Romans 8:19 – “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.”

Ephesians 1:4 – “According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:”

Ps 82:6 – “I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.”

Ps 8:4-6 – “What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honor. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:”

Romans 8:17 – “And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ”

In His self-giving Love plan from eternity, God’s mind has been toward us His created sons, to give us the universe to develop and love. Man IS God’s plan, the “incarnation” (God in man – Emmanuel) being the ultimate expression of Himself as the Body of Christ, the Eternal Son of God eternally manifest as the myriad of individual Sons, so that there is really and truly only ONE Real True Man, the Christ of God, manifest and expressing the Brightness of His Glory and Power through the many Sons He redeemed by being obedient unto death

5) Out of freedom, one arose to assert himself as the same as God, that is, self-existent person, Lucifer, who said in eternity “I will be like the Most High” Isaiah 14:14

In the pride of his created beauty, which he beheld and thereby deceived himself willingly, he changed the Love of God, which is only outgoing and self-giving, into an unquenchable fire of selfishness which is wrath, pride, envy and strife, from which there is no escape for eternity, in that he refused to die to the beauty of his own created selfhood, and instead chose to assert it as his false reality, thereby forever changing good into evil, self-giving into self-seeking, and opening and establishing in the place of the world of Light an eternal kingdom of darkness and pain, hunger, rage, and unquenchable desire, that seeks only its own false light, and satisfies and builds itself up not by giving itself, but instead by taking from others, sucking life, bringing Death instead of Life, and becoming eternally his own principle of Rage and Wrath.

6) Into this scenario, where this false kingdom of darkness and strife and separation from God had been eternally opened and introduced as a possibility in the eternal freedom of His created beings, God introduced man, and placed him in his innocence into a perfect Garden of His heavenly delights, wherein man walked at first with the Lord God in the cool of the day, knowing no contrary “law” (save one), told only to expand the creation of God through his word, by uttering out of his mouth the names of all the creatures of this world, in the mystical inebriation of His inner Being, hearing the silent Word of God in His inexhaustible depths, and speaking forth the creative process whereby the universe eternally expands in the manifestation of the mind of God.

PART TWO

Here’s a part 2 of sorts we may have to have a 3, 4, 5 and so on…

As I get going on this, I want you to know how weak I feel toward it…this next section is on what has traditionally been called “The Fall”…I tell you I’ve studied this for 30 years as a Christian and even going back much further than that to my early childhood, and yet in my humanity it is of such great depth that I can grasp it only in the roughest form…while I could give you my “rote” understanding of it from the teachings I’ve heard and books I’ve read, from Norman, Jacob Boehme, and many others, just to rattle that off to you point by point does not seem for me to be the way…my desire in relating this story is that the Spirit begins to open your understanding, that you hear with your inner ears that He will speak out of His eternal depths the infinite Mystery of Life which is the Living God

Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion….

Gen 2:7  And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

In the creation story prior to this point, all of creation had been accomplished by God’s spoken word/commands – “Let there be”… yet here the Lord God’s “methodology” seems to change. The prior creation (heavens and earth, sun, moon, seas, plant life, living creatures, etc.) seems to lack the specific personal involvement depicted in the creation of man. “Let the water bring forth,” “Let the earth bring forth” almost show a “secondary” involvement by the Lord, in that inherent in the earth or the water is the potential to bring forth the life forms of the living creatures and plants that appeared.

But with man it is different. He doesn’t say He is creating plants, mountains, seas, cattle and horses after his image and in His likeness. Most certainly the variety, the beauty, and the intricacies of the created heavens and earth and all in them show forth His glory, depicting in concrete form the abundance and unimaginable beauty of His Life, depth of His Wisdom, and the unboundedness of His eternal imagination and joy in play and sport. Still there is lacking a personal representation of Himself as He really is, as a Free Self-Conscious Person, whose deep Purpose is to bless and develop this great and beautiful realm called “the heavens and the earth.” God is Spirit, and the heavens and the earth are matter, and for a world of “matter” there necessarily must be, a Person of “matter” to live in it, care for it, bless it, and in mystical Praise and Apprehension of the Eternal, to “till the ground” in order to bring forth fruit unto God.

While the earth was commanded in an almost intermediary way to “bring forth living creatures,” God personally involved Himself in the most intimate manner possible in the creation of the man. Everything in this world, which at that point existed in an original purity beyond what we can imagine, still was “of” this world. While perfectly reflecting the invisible properties of the Deity, still mountains and seas, whales, elephants, aardvarks, kangaroos and platypi do not mirror His Eternal Personhood. The heavens and the earth cannot “contain” Him, yet in every molecule and part and parcel of the physical universe His fullness is eternally manifest. “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made…” (Rom 1:20)

But in man all the forces and rushing torrents of Divine Love and the Beauty of His Wisdom combined, therefore, to bring forth the crown jewel of this created realm. “Let us make man in our image,” He says, and then in the most intimate part of the story, “The Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground.” It is an intimate anthropomorphic picture we are given, a Loving Father forming the substance and giving Life to His precious new Son, fashioning as if with His hands, with care, wonder, and joy this beautiful offspring whose potential He sees and knows from His eternal depths. He first forms man’s “house” out of the elements of this physical world.

But unlike with the animals and with the inanimate things of the earth, He then does the most intimate thing of all. He “breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Certainly this is more than a mixture of 20% oxygen and 80% nitrogen and other elements which make up our atmosphere. This is His own Breath He breathes into the man, and God’s Breath is His Life, His Spirit, His Wind, which is not of this world. It is Heavenly, Eternal, God’s own Personal Life, Self-consciousness, and Adam wakes up to His own self-existence, as a Living “Soul” or “Being.” “I AM” has given Life to His first earthly Son, and Adam opens his eyes in joy and wonder and says, “I am.”

OK – we’ll have to take a break here enjoy
