LIFE ON BOTH SIDES OF THE RIVER
BY: LINDA KEITH
Before we start I want to say, that just as in past days; Father spoke words to some of His prophets, teachers, preachers, etc., that was for another day or time. The Word tells us that God never changes. Just as He gave Word in past times for another day or time, He does the same thing today. I know that there are things or revelations, that Father will give us and say, “Keep this, don’t teach it now.” I do know that. But, when He gives us a Word, and says “Let’s Roll,” then that tells me that there is a people that Father has already prepared their hearts for that Word. HE will see to it that His Word, goes where He wants it. And when He gives us a Word, and says “Keep it,” then we are not to teach it UNTIL Father says, “now is the time.” So, what Father puts in my spirit, I give when HE says to. If, in my understanding, I make a mistake, then I know that I have not understood HIM, and it will be corrected. So, with this thought in mind, let’s continue with our study. Amen.
I want to say, that this first part is a little lengthy. I’m sorry, but I am trying to lay a foundation. In the following parts of this study, I will try to keep them shorter, IF I can. LOL! I love this, when Father gives us understanding not only about Himself, but to ourselves as well. Father is saying, “NOW is the time to know who you are.” So, let’s get started.
There are 3 dimensions of the Gospel.
1. Gospel of Calvary
2. Gospel of Pentecost
3. Gospel of the Kingdom.
The Bible speaks of many gospels, but, if you check them out, you will find that, every gospel spoken of, falls in one of the above dimensions. I believe that there are people who are called to teach, preach and hear the Gospel of Calvary, and are not ordained to go any farther. Now, understand, this does not make anyone any better than another. This is what God has ordained. This Gospel of Calvary is the 1st Day, or the first 1000 years from Jesus.
The Gospel of Pentecost is the 2nd Day ministry or the 2nd 1000 years from Jesus. We had not seen such a great move of the Spirit in the 1st 1000 years, like we did in Pentecost, the 2nd 1000 years from Jesus.
The Gospel of the Kingdom is the 3rd Day ministry. Pentecost and the Kingdom Ministries are not the same. There are those who are not called to this ministry, the hearing or the living of it.
Mt 4:23, “And JESUS went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.”
Mt 3:1-2, “In those days came John (the Baptist), preaching in the wilderness of Judaea. (2) And saying “Repent ye; for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
John taught repentance. Jesus taught the Kingdom of God. You may have thought that both of these are the same, but they aren’t. ALL must repent, but not all are called to understand the Gospel of the Kingdom.
Many teachers and preachers think that the 3 Gospels are the same, but they’re not. Those called to this 3rd Day ministry will take all 3 gospels with them, but will not lay those foundation again.
(Heb 6:1-3) “Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, (salvation) let us go on unto perfection:; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God. (2) (this is still not laying again) Of the doctrine of baptisms and of laying on of hands (Pentecost), and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. (3) And this will we do, if God permit.”
We see in this scripture, the 3 Gospels. Salvation, Pentecost and the Kingdom (perfection). This is NOT after we die and go to heaven. His Kingdom is HERE ON EARTH. It is within US and must be brought forth.
Those called to the Gospel of the Kingdom will understand the things that God is speaking, whereas, those called to the Gospel of Calvary or Pentecost may not understand. God has called them to understand where He has called them to and they won’t go any farther. For now. Each scripture in the Bible has a 3 fold understanding to it.
PROV 22:17-21, “Bow down thine ear, and hear the words of the wise, and apply thine heart unto my knowledge. (Vs 18) For it is a pleasant thing if thou keep them within thee; they shall withal be fitted in thy lips. (Vs 19) That thy trust may be in the Lord, I have made known to thee this day, even to thee. (Vs 20) Have not I written to thee EXCELLENT things in counsels and knowledge (Vs 21) That I might make thee know the certainty of the words of truth; that thou mightiest answer the words of truth to them that send unto thee?”
Now, this word “excellent” in Strong’s # 7991 means “3 fold.” In other words, there are 3 fold understandings to Father’s Word. (if you haven’t already, I think you would like to study this scripture out). So, this tells us that everyone will not understand the Gospel of the Kingdom, even though they may have gone through the Calvary Gospel and the Pentecost. Some are not called to this Word of the Kingdom. With that said, let’s turn to the Gospel of John. Even the types and shadows show (of the OT) that folks just went as far as Father ordained or allowed them to go. Moses is an excellent example. He was God’s man of the hour, but, it was not ordained for him to enter Canaan. If it had been ordained, he would have entered that Promised Land. (I’m not saying that Moses won’t enter some time in the future plans of God. But, it will be on the other side of the river that Moses will enter into it)
JOHN 7:37-39, “In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink. (Vs 38) He that believeth on me as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow RIVERS of living water. (Vs 39) (But, this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)”
Now, I want you to keep this scripture in mind, throughout this study. (“out of your belly (or heart) shall flow RIVERS (plural) of living water.”) Because this Word of Life On Both Sides of the River deals with the reconciling of all men unto God. In the church system, this reconciling of “all men” is not believed. But, God’s Word is true, and all are called to the understanding of this realm of His Word. But, we know that God cannot lie, there is a people called to this understanding.
“Both sides of the river,” speak of those living, and those who die and go to the spirit realm. The spirit realm is what the church has taught us is “heaven.” It’s completely different from what we’ve been taught. But for right now, I won’t go into that. Both sides of the river:
Daniel 12:4-10. “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book even to the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. (Vs 5) Then I Daniel looked, and behold (usually when we see the word “behold” in the scriptures, it means something is about to be revealed, that hasn’t been revealed before) there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river. (Vs 6) And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was UPON the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? (Vs 7) And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was UPON the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, (the spirit realm) and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. (Vs 8) And I heard, but I understood not; then said I, O my Lord what shall be the end of these things? (Vs 9) And he said, Go thy way Daniel; for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. (Vs 10) Many shall be purified and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.” (the words in parenthesis are mine.)
Here in verse 4, we know that the last line is being fulfilled now, “knowledge shall be increased.” In the natural, technology, politics, academics, are being increased. But, also, knowledge is increasing in the Spiritual things of the Lord. There is a people who is picking up on the increase of knowledge of the Spirit, and they are not stagnant in what they hear and learn. They have come to know that our God is an ever moving God and they are moving WITH Him. They are not, learning a new word and then just laying it aside; they are applying what is being spoken, regardless of the cost or the effort. Those hearing and not applying are gaining nothing but HEAD KNOWLEDGE. May Father have mercy on those.
Here in verse 5, we must understand that on one side of the bank of the river there is the natural order and on the other side of the bank of the river is the Spiritual order. Now Daniel saw One UPON the waters of the river and he saw 2 others, one on each side of the river. The One upon the waters was Jesus. (the One clothed in linen). We’ll look at the other two a little later. One ask Jesus, “how long will it be till the end of these wonders?”
Verse 7, Jesus answers with, “it shall be for a time, times and an half.” This tells us when this prophesy started and when it would end. When you study out, “a time, times and a half,” you’ll find that this is talking about “a day,” the “2 days,” and the “a half a day” are God’s days.
2 Peter 3:8, “One day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years are as one day.”
When we look at scripture, we find that when the Law of Moses came into effect, it was 1500 years, that’s a day and a half; (God’s days) then, from Jesus until now, it’s another 2 days. That’s 3 1/2 days. And He said that’s when “these things shall be finished.” So, this prophesy is shut up through the Law of Moses, and the first 2 days of Jesus, and now we’ve moved into the 3rd day, the time being spoken of here and the book is being opened to us. Hallelujah!! It’s the revelation of Father’s Christ (us as a many-membered Body) coming forth!! Glory!!
Verse 8 “I heard and understood not.” Daniel was not ordained to understand. See what I mean? It was for ANOTHER TIME, our time! Daniel was only to write about it, not understand it.
Verse 9, “til the time of the end.” We are in the end time.
Verse 10, “the wise shall understand” This is the hearing of Father’s Voice and the discernment of those called to this Word of the Kingdom and the understanding of it.
In the study of Re-Happenings, (previous studies that you can request) we looked at the Book of Revelation, and I’d like to go back there and see how this is for a 3rd day people. But, understand, we were shown here in Daniel, that Daniel was called to write this vision of prophesy, but he was not called to understand it. (at least at that point in time).
It’s the same with some who are called to the Gospel of Calvary, and are not ordained to go any farther. Same with some called to the Gospel of Pentecost. (But, as we’ll see, there is a point in God’s time, when they WILL receive understanding, even those who have already died and even those who are not saved YET.)
Now, I want you to keep in mind, this relates to people on BOTH SIDES OF THE RIVER. And keep in mind John 7:38 and the “from your belly will flow RIVERS of living water. OK, Let’s go on.
In the Book of Revelation, we’re going to take a deeper look at that river that Daniel saw.
In the last part of our study of “Life On Both Sides of the River,” we looked at Daniel and the vision or prophesy that was given to him. We saw that Daniel was not ordained to understand it, at that point in time.
Today, I want to begin in the Book of Revelation.
Revelation 22: 1-4
Verse 1, “And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.”
The “purity” means that there was NO MIXTURE, NO POLLUTION! Hallelujah! Now, here, we see a “pure river,” SINGULAR. If you remember, back in John 7:38, it was “rivers” plural.
We have to understand, that at that time Jesus had not yet died and risen. So, there were separate rivers and God’s people had not come into Revelation 1, where everyone (1:13) was speaking the same thing. Now, here in Revelation 22, is a group of people that have come into the same like mind, the character as God. So, now those rivers of living waters have become ONE PURE RIVER. A many membered river, if you will. And it’s a pure river of living water of Life.
Whenever we see, the Tree of Life, the Book of Life, the Word of Life or the Breath of Life, they are all one and the same and they are all a people. They are the people spoken of in Rom 8:29, Rev 1:13. (for those of you on this mailing list, that received my studies, on the Book of Revelation, you will remember that we found in Rev 1:1 that it was Jesus that this revelation was coming out of. The revelation OF=out from within, and that in 1:13 we saw that this “one like unto the Son of Man” was the many membered Body of Christ.) We (His manifested Sons), become the Word of Life, (Phil 2:15-16), the Bread of Life, (John 21:15-17), Epistles of Life (2 Cor 3:2-4) etc., because we have came into His Image. These members in particular, of the Body of Christ have become everything that Jesus was, while here on earth.
So John was shown this pure river of water of life, the same thing that Jesus said would come out of a people that believed Him, and now that Jesus had died and risen, these “waters” have become one with no mixture, and it’s clear as crystal. It’s a people that has been called to that place in God where they are in total agreement, not only with God, but with each other!! (whether you know it or not, folks, it is happening). We saw in RE-HAPPENINGS, that in Jesus’ day, the people loved God and they loved the Law of Moses, but, when Jesus begin to speak, all did not agree. His Word wasn’t crystal clear to them, they did not understand, because they hung on to the Law, plus His Precious Spirit had not come to reside in them. Even after the coming of the Holy Spirit, most wanted to hang on to Moses’ Law and a lot still do, today. Sad. There are those today, that want to live on the previous revelations that the Holy Spirit has given; they won’t accept anything new to their ears. And many have come to this Gospel of the Kingdom, and like Moses, they won’t go any farther. Very sad. Hopefully they will allow the Holy Spirit to awaken them to their true identity.
But, here in Revelation, we are seeing a people that follow the Lamb, wheresoever He goes and their agreement with Him is crystal clear. They don’t and aren’t following the Law of Moses, (because Jesus fulfilled it), or the prophets, (except the Prophet within themselves) they are following NO MAN, they are following the Lamb. And when He moves, they move WITH HIM. They aren’t waiting on anything or anybody; and they are resting in Truth of what He is saying today.
OK, This river, “is” proceeding from the throne of God and the Lamb.
First thing we see is that it is moving it is proceedING (not resting in motion) out OF, (what does “of” mean? =Out from within.) It is proceeding out from within the throne of God, AND “of,” (out from within) the Lamb. Hallelujah!!
The river is the Holy Spirit, the water is the Word, and it is clear as crystal and it’s proceeding out from within the throne of God, and THE THRONE OF GOD IS IN US! We are where God lives and it says that the river of living waters is proceeding out from the throne of (out from within) God and of (out from within) the Lamb, which IS the Image these people have come into. The “ONE like unto the Son of Man.” Praise His Name!
There are those who won’t want to hear this, but take it before Father, and allow Him to give HIS understanding of it. IF you are one called to receive His Understanding.
Now, here’s what is really beautiful –
Verse 2 “In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”
“In the midst of it,” the “it” is the river.
“In the midst of the STREET of it.” In the midst of the street of the river.
People have been looking for “streets of gold” (plural) somewhere out in the sky, but God’s Word says “in the midst of the street of the river.”
Out from within “the street” AND on both sides of the river, “was THE TREE OF LIFE”!! We know that “street” represents, a way. Jesus said “I AM the Way, the Truth and the Life.” (John 14:6) So, the life that, that “ONE LIKE UNTO the Son of Man,” is walking, is that Street, the Way of our Pattern.
So “on either side of the river was the tree of life,” which means, if we go back to Daniel, that Street in the midst of the river IS JESUS, and on either side or on both sides of the river ,is the tree of life. So, what John is seeing here is the “tree of life” in the midst of the river, AND on BOTH sides of the river. The river is what is between the 2 realms, the natural earth and the Spirit realm. He SEES the “tree of life” on BOTH sides, Hallelujah!! Both in the earthen realm AND Spirit realm. I pray that you are seeing this.
And notice, John does not distinguish one from the other!!! The “tree of life” in the earth realm, looks just like the “tree of life” that’s in the Spirit realm.
In the midst of the river AND on both sides of the river, John sees the tree of life. Look at what John sees; NOT “A” tree of life, but “THE” tree of life. The one in the midst of the river, and the one on both sides look ALIKE. “LIKE UNTO!!!!” There’s those on the natural side of the river, one on the spirit side of the river, and One in the midst of the river!! And you can’t tell them apart!
“Which bare twelve manners of fruit. And yield her fruit every month and the leaves of THE TREE were for the healing of the nation.”
Now, catch this; He said:
1. “in the midst of the river was the tree of life.”
2. “on either side of the river was the tree of life.
3. And at the end, it reads, TREE=singular (the leaves of THE TREE). They were ONE TREE, just like the many-membered Body of Christ is ONE BODY, but are members in particular. Can you see what this is saying?
Verse 3, “And there shall be no more curse; but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him.”
“But the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be it.” The throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in THE TREE. So we begin to understand that the whole purpose of God, is to take us back to where we were in God, before the foundation of the world. This is His whole purpose.
I’ll stop here and we’ll pick in Ezekiel, in part 3.
We’re looking at the Word of God, where He is showing us that there is life on both sides of the river, and that life includes ALL men! We’ve been taught for so long that the “good” die and go to a heaven, somewhere in outer space, and that the “bad” or “unsaved” die and go to hell. As good as the intentions were, of those who taught us, they were in such error.
Today, Father is bringing to pass, His promise of “in the end time, knowledge will increase,” and increasing, it is!! So much so, that even those that Father anointed to bring us out of the garbage that was put within us, by the church system, are now, not to keen on excepting the secrets that were hidden since the foundation of the world. But, as we all know, Father WILL have His way! Amen!! He has ordained a people to come into the image of Jesus the Christ, the flesh and blood man who walked the earth, while His heart (mind) was in the heavenlies.
We died and we resurrected with Him, why? The purpose of Father is to have a people just like HIMSELF!! We need to see God, as God. And we need to stop looking at Him as man has portrayed Him to be. We would see that God does not have a greater love for the saved, than the unsaved. We are ALL God’s children, some just don’t know their Father YET!! The word “bastard” tells the whole story. “First the natural, then the spiritual,” A bastard has to have a father, he was born. It takes a mother and a father to produce him; it’s just THAT HE DOESN’T KNOW WHO HIS FATHER IS!! But, we do! And THEY will too!! God does not hold one person any higher than another.
I want to start this part out, in Ezekiel, because Ezekiel had a wonderful vision, as did Daniel, of the truth that this study is trying to show here.
Ezekiel 47:6-12, – vs. 6, “And he said unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen this? Then he brought me, and caused me to return to the brink of the river.”
The first thing that caught my eye, here, was that Ezekiel is being called the same thing that Jesus called Himself, Son of Man. We also, see here, that Daniel, and John, and Ezekiel were all at a river, in their vision. And it doesn’t say anywhere that either of them ever left the earth. The only place they were, was in the Spirit.
VS 7, “Now when I had returned (re-turned, turned around), behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other.”
There were “very many trees on one side and the other side.” Now, John didn’t see it this way; Daniel didn’t see it this way either, because they were seeing it as one person, individually!
But, Ezekiel was seeing a lot of trees on both sides of the river.
VS 8, “Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the East country and go down into the desert, and go into the sea; which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed.”
Now, remember what Jesus said, “out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water.”
Here, Ezekiel is told “these waters,” (waters represent the Word;), will issue towards the East country”. (“east” represents, the rising or coming forth of a new day. So, this is telling us that Ezekiel is being shown that a new day was coming, he viewed it… it was afar off.
The desert speaks of a people who have not yet, heard. They are dry and parched.
The sea, speaks of a large group of people. I see this as one group of people that will be a pattern for other people and that group will, in turn be a pattern for another group, etc., etc., just as Jesus was a Pattern for us. Amen.
The waters shall be healed; remember the waters are the Word. There are so many doctrines out there today because the waters have become polluted and distorted, but Ezekiel is told “the waters shall be healed.” Hallelujah!!
VS 9, “And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live and there shall be a very great multitude of fish…“ (remember when Jesus said, “I shall make you fishers of men?)
VS 9, “…because these waters shall come thither; for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh.”
The river represents the Word, and God said, “As surely as I live, all the earth will be filled with my glory because the Word will never pass away,” and everything that the Word touches is going to live. And as God set Jesus as a Pattern, and He was a Pattern of LIFE, and as He passed that Pattern on to His disciples, they became a pattern of life, and as the pattern was passed on to the apostles, they passed that pattern on to others. (and 2000, 3000 a DAY was saved!), those that were saved became a pattern of life. In other words, the healing went from God to Jesus, to the disciples, to the apostles, then to others and kept on moving and it has NEVER STOPPED!
VS 10, “And it shall come to pass, that the fishers shall stand upon it (the river, or the Word) from Engedi even unto Eneglalm; they shall be a place to spread forth nets; their fish shall be according to their kinds, as the fish of the great sea, exceeding many.”
Those that are called to Calvary, will catch those in the gospel of Calvary, those in Pentecost will catch those in the Gospel of Pentecost, those called to the Gospel of the Kingdom are catching those of the Gospel of the Kingdom, because God has ordained a people to hear in EVERY dimension, in Him. And whatever dimension of God that a person is ordained to, they cannot go beyond. (now this kind of does away with the free will theory, doesn’t it?) HE is in control, not man and their “choices.” And the people (the sea) in each dimension will be many.
VS 11-12, “But the miry places thereof and the marshes thereof shall not be healed; they shall be given to salt. (12) And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat…”
The “trees” are people. And notice, they’re not trees for MILK, which is 30 fold realm, and they’re not trees for BREAD, which is 60 fold realm, THEY ARE TREES FOR MEAT, which is the Kingdom.” Hallelujah! So, EVEN those who pass on, and enter the Spirit realm WILL COME INTO HIS KINGDOM!! “each man in his own rank and order.”
“whose leaf shall not fade,” because they have come into the fullness.
“ neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed; it shall bring forth NEW FRUIT ACCORDING TO HIS MONTHS, because their waters issued out of the sanctuary; and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.”
Word coming forth today, IS NEW FRUIT!! Fruit is the product of the tree. And these “trees” are a Body of people, and they are ministering to BOTH SIDES OF THE RIVER!! Hallelujah!! I think this should be SO encouraging to not only us, but to folks that have has loved ones pass away “unsaved.” Those who have passed away ARE BEING MINISTERED TO ON THAT SIDE TOO!! Glory to God!! AMEN!
This “sanctuary” spoken of is HIS SANCTUARY, not ours, this “sanctuary” is the Spirit. “The waters (Word) issue out of (out from within) the Spirit.
Every time we speak a word, it’s going to be for medicine. It’s going to heal spirit, soul and body!! Praise His Name!! This is the Christ that Father has made US to be!! His very LIFE flowing forth from within US!! Healing, healing, healing is what will be spoken!! Now, keep in mind that “on both sides were these trees,” and let’s look at Isaiah.
IS 61:3, “To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness (complete deliverance) that they might be called TREES OF RIGHTEOUS -NESS; the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.”
OK, Where did the Lord plant the trees? ON BOTH SIDES OF THE RIVER!! So, everyone who has gone on, by way of death, God ORDAINED it to be. “ALL SHALL NOT SEE DEATH,” God has ORDAINED this to be. But, BOTH SIDES will walk in the same dimension.
When we talk about God reconciling all things back to Himself, we have to understand, that IN GOD there are ranks and orders. PEOPLE are in ranks and orders, and everyone shall come forth in their own order. The scripture says, “no man shall leave his rank.”
In Phil 2:10-11, the word “things” translate out to “PEOPLE,” Now it says, which we all know, “every knee shall bow, every tongue will confess” and the thing most pass by without thought is things in heaven (or spirit realm) things in earth, and things under the earth.” This takes in BOTH SIDES OF THE RIVER!!
In the last part of the study, we saw that, Phil 2:10, “Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus the Christ is Lord.” We saw that this included every knee and every tongue, including all that were in the heavens (or the spirit realm), the earth and under the earth. Now, that takes in, everyone that was, is or ever will be born. ALL will accept Jesus as Savior.
Now, some will say, “Well, that doesn’t mean that all will accept Him.” OK, let’s go to 1 Cor.
1 Cor 12:3, “Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed; and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but, by the Holy Ghost.”
OK, NO MAN can say that Jesus is Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. Now catch what is about to be revealed, here. Now, Philippians told us that every knee and every tongue will bow and confess Jesus is Lord, in heaven, in earth and under the earth, right? Now think about this, if no one can say that Jesus is Lord, EXCEPT by the Holy Ghost, for every knee, and every tongue to bow and confess, that means that EVERY MAN WILL HAVE THE HOLY GHOST!! Hallelujah!! I don’t know about you, but I don’t know any “unsaved” person that has the Holy Ghost, speaking through them, do you that THEY KNOW He is speaking, but, don’t we know “unsaved” folks, that Father has spoken to us through them? But, this is telling us that in order to say “Jesus is Lord,” they have to have the Holy Ghost and gone through SALVATION!! The Body of Christ HAS to see this! This does not say that “every Christian” will bow and confess, it says EVERY MAN will bow and confess Jesus is Lord. So, somewhere, in each life, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He is Lord! Hallelujah!
1 Cor 15:49-52
VS 49, “And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.”
to run a reference of “image of earthy” read Gen 5:3. earthy=natural, heavenly=spiritual.
Now, “as we have borne the image of (out from within) the earthy,” we can understand this 2 ways:
1) as we start out, we bare the image of Adam, but, even in our salvation walk, we begin to bare the image of Jesus, in the natural. OK?
2) “We shall also bare the image of the heavenly.” What this means, then, is that not only are we going to bare the image of Jesus, in the natural realm; but, we are going to bare the image of Christ, in the Spirit realm!! And when the church finally gets to the place where we can separate Jesus from the Christ, in terms of who we are, because Jesus, the flesh man, does not live in us, Jesus was flesh and blood; but, it’s Christ, who lives in us. God, who is Jesus, our Father, Christ, who is Father’s very LIFE, lives in us.
I want to share this with you; when Jesus came, even though scripture says that “in Him was the fullness of the Godhead bodily,” Jesus, in Himself, was in part. Because Jesus, Himself, was not fulfilled within Himself UNTIL we became Christ. (God’s anointed, God’s life flowing through us.) When He was on earth, He wasn’t fulfilled, He was in part. When we became the Christ, upon Jesus’ resurrection, He became the Head of Christ, He was once again, God the Father, we became the Body of Christ, God’s Life and THEN He Himself was fulfilled.
So, the scripture says, “when he that is perfect shall come (us, God’s Christ), he that is in part shall be done away with,” so when we “connected” to Jesus, for lack of a better word, as the Body of Christ, and Jesus, the Head of Christ, Him which was perfect came. Then, Jesus, who was once by Himself in that in part realm, was done away with. (I PRAY that you see this in the spirit). But, the church latched on to, and still does, Jesus being by Himself. I take NOTHING from Jesus by saying this, but, Jesus (the flesh man) was just part of the equation, He is the Head of the Body, (as Father) and we are the body of the Body and together we are one new man!! God and His Flesh Body, walking the earth. Hallelujah! One perfect man!! Praise His Name, for it is HE that made this possible. This is why the scripture says, “be ye perfect as I am perfect.” and the scripture tells us that we “are perfect”, “we are complete”, IN HIM.
Also, this is why we are “to know Jesus no more after the flesh”!! He is no longer that flesh Son that walked the earth, 2000 years ago. He is NOW, God the Father (John 17:4-5) and WE are His flesh body.
OK, “as we have borne the image of (out from within) the earthy, we shall also bear the image of (out from within) the heavenly.”
VS 50, “Now this I say brethren that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit in corruption.”
Flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God — “AS HE IS SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD.” The Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.
VS 51 “Behold, I shew you a mystery; we shall not all sleep”…This is a proof of Both Sides of the River; some sleep, or go by way of the grave, some will not. Daniel saw it, John saw it and Ezekiel saw it; BUT, “we shall all be changed.” Whether we go by way of the grave, or whether we don’t, “we shall all be changed.”
VS 52, “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump; for the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”
This means that those who are not walking in the anointing that God has placed in them, because Christ is the anointing, and those who are not walking in the anointing, “and the dead (in Christ) shall be raised incorruptible,” that means they shall “stand up and be counted.” 1 Thess 4 speaks of “the dead in Christ shall rise,” this word “rise,” means “to stand and be counted.” The church has the dead in Christ going up into the air, but, that’s not what that word “rise” means. It means to stand and be counted. They are dead to the anointing, or the Christ in them. The anointing is there and it’s like in Malachi 3, it says “SUDDENLY, the Lord has come to His temple.” We have had the Lord somewhere out in the sky, and finally the truth hits and we realize that God’s not out in the sky, but He’s in His temple, which we are. It’s the same with those dead to the anointing that is within them, it’s there, they just don’t know it, they are dead to it. So, “the dead in Christ shall rise (or stand and be counted)” and that’s when the knowledge finally hits them that, WE ARE HIS ANOINTED ONE, and we start acting like the anointed one of God, rather than “an old sinner saved by grace.” So the dead will rise incorruptible, and we shall all be changed.
Let’s look back at VS 19, of the same chapter.
We need to know that God’s plan for me and you, is the same plan that He had for Jesus. And if the plan for Jesus was to live with Him throughout eternity, that’s the whole reason John 3:16 came into the picture, He died for all, everybody, for each and every person. Christian or not! The only difference in us and some others, is that we have received His understanding of this!!
1 Cor 15:19, “If in this life only we have hope in Christ (the anointing), we are of all men most miserable.”
Now, with this scripture, we need:
1 Tim 2: 1-4, “I exhort you therefore that first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks, be made for ALL men; (2) For kings, and for ALL that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.” Now, how many of us know that all that are in authority are not Christians??! VS 3, “For THIS is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; THIS= to pray for people like Saddam Hussein, Hitler, ALL that don’t know the Lord as their savior. But, because of religious thoughts, we don’t do this, because it’s not good in the sight of MAN!! VS 4, “Who will have all men to be saved (delivered), and to come UNTO the knowledge of the truth.”
Why did God put this in the Bible? Because, first of all, “if we have hope in this world only,” which is saying that there is hope in the life after this one, for those that He has ordained to go on by way of death, saved or unsaved. “Pray for all men.” Why? Because, God said that He will have all men to be save.
Now, people say “God doesn’t cross our will.” I don’t know where they get that, because GOD’S WILL is ALWAYS performed! Always!! And He will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. This word, “unto,” means to be just like!! To be just like the knowledge of the truth! To BECOME the knowledge of (out from within) the truth. Once a person comes into the knowledge of the truth, it is IMPOSSIBLE for them NOT to accept it, and they BECOME the knowledge of (out from within) the truth. Amen! Hallelujah!!
We left off, in the last study in 1 Tim 2. I want to just add something to what was said in the last study. I had a sister email me and ask what the difference was in:
1 Tim 2:1, “I exhort therefore, that, first of all supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for ALL men.”
The understanding that I have been given is this; SUPPLICATIONS =praying about situations that people are in. Ex: my sweet little Mother, who has Alzheimer’s, is in the hospital with pneumonia (among a list that goes on and on) and I pray for the situation that she is in. I pray for His Comfort to her, in this situation. PRAYERS=this is the lifting up of a person, before God. Ex: I lift my Mother daily before Father. I lift what I know she would ask Him, if she were in the right mind, to ask Him. INTERCESSIONS=is standing in the gap for someone. Ex: I pray Father’s will in my Mother’s life. I stand in the gap regarding the pain, the loss of memory but MOSTLY, what Father puts in my heart to pray for her. GIVING OF THANKS=giving thanks to Father FOR that person, regardless of where they are, what they are doing and how they are doing. And notice, that this scripture says that we are to do these things for ALL MEN. Not just Christians. But ALL. For all are our brothers and sisters! A scripture that helped me so much with the understanding of this is:
John 10:14-16, this is Jesus speaking, “I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.” (this is speaking of Christians, or those who have accepted Jesus as Savior). (Vs 15) “As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father, and I lay down my life for the sheep.” (Vs 16) “And OTHER SHEEP I HAVE, WHICH ARE NOT OF THIS FOLD: THEM ALSO I MUST BRING, AND THEY SHALL HEAR MY VOICE, AND THERE SHALL BE ONE FOLD AND ONE SHEPHERD.” So, we are to pray for ALL of His sheep.
Before I go on, I’d like to share something that I shared with a sister, yesterday. I pray this will give comfort to any of you who have loved ones that their minds may be effected in any way. As I was praying one day for Mom, I asked, “Father, with Mom’s mind like this, why do you allow her to go on, she understands hardly anything.” He very gently whispered to me, “She has the mind of Christ that I placed within her, that is how she is receiving of Me.” What a glorious thrill that was for me. I was looking and thinking with the mind that no longer belongs to me, but as I allowed the Mind of Christ to do the thinking, I understood, with great happiness. Also, Father showed me that when one passes over to that next life, regardless of where they have been, good, bad, whatever, that the darkness that kept them from seeing His Truth has passed from them. They have entered the Spirit realm and like Father, they see the beginning and the end, but the learning goes on for them, just like us, because HEB 11 tells us that “them without us, may not be made perfect.” This word “perfect” means “mature” so we’re all coming into maturity, on BOTH SIDES OF THE RIVER. My mom passed over Jordan, and what a comfort it was for me, when Father gave this revelation.
So, we’ll get on with this present study.
Matt 6:8-10, “Be not ye therefore like unto them; for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of before ye ask him. (9) After this manner therefore pray ye; Our Father which art in heaven…(or in the realm of spirit) Hallowed be thy name, (10) Thy kingdom come, (whose kingdom? God’s Kingdom) Thy will be done in earth (or in the natural realm) as it is in heaven (or in the spiritual realm).
Now, understand that those who have gone on, by way of the grave, are no longer in the natural realm. They are in the spirit realm. Whether they are in darkness or light, they are in the spirit realm, not off in space and not in some hole in the ground that fire burns in, ONLY FATHER”S FIRE< WHICH IS HIM!.
Notice, He didn’t say “as it SHALL be in heaven, but as it IS in heaven.” Those that have gone on, regardless to what they did while they were in the earth, or the natural, or the flesh, they are now in the spirit. And God’s Will IS being done in the spirit. Amen.
If the shackles were removed from our eyes, we could see into the spirit realm and see people, we may not know them as we knew them on earth, but we’d see those people doing what God has willed them to do in the spirit. As we minister Truth, even now, they hear what we minister and they walk in it as they understand it. Most think that when one dies, that’s the end, but it’s not. Ecc 12 tells us that “the spirit returns unto God from whence they came.” We go back to where we came from. I don’t believe for one minute that God went through 7000 yrs of creating, making us in His Image, in this last day, to allow us to go wherever we want to go! If we understand how God’s Government works in the earth, if we understand that from the days of Noah until this very day we now live in, God has allowed man to operate and run His Government, but in THIS DAY, that Jesus talked about, this day that He’s going to be perfected, this day that we shall be revived, then God takes His Government back unto Himself. That’s why it is THIS DAY that the Sons of God are showing the manifestation, more than ever before. We HAVE BEEN MANIFESTING, anyone who has laid hands on someone, and that person received a healing, that is a manifestation of God!! Amen. Anyone that you know that has spoken to the weather, and the weather or elements have obeyed, that is a manifestation of God! We have been manifesting as Sons, but people are STILL waiting for the manifestation of the Sons. We HAVE BEEN manifesting God all along. And the church is still looking into the future and waiting!! And NOW, we’re gonna be manifesting more and more and more and the world is going to see it! Hallelujah!! We need to stop waiting. No signs are going to take place. We ARE manifesting!! WE are His Signs! Just because it may not be the way that WE THINK it should be, doesn’t mean squat!! They missed Jesus, before, because He didn’t come as THEY THOUGHT He should. We need to wake up, my brothers and sisters! When a sister told me that she prayed for one to be taken home, by Father, and a couple days later, that one was taken home, THAT IS A MANIFESTATION!! It may not be what we thought a manifestation would be, but it was. It was that POWERFUL SPIRIT of Father that spoke through that sister. It was a manifestation of God, here on earth. We have got to see more simply, and not make it so complicated. Jesus was a simple man, so will be the Body of Christ. HE IS OUR EXAMPLE!!
For those who don’t know, the Book of Hebrews, I found that the word “hebrews” is “the crossing over.” Father talks about in Hebrews, a people who ministers a word that belongs to another time. The word they are ministering is not even for the day that they are ministering in, but for another day.
Heb. 7:22, “By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.”
If Jesus was made a surety of a better covenant, then the one that was before Jesus was not as good as this one. This shows us that God is always in a progressive mode. He’s always taking us from one dimension in Him, to a greater dimension. And if we’re going to be foolish enough to think that, that process stopped when Jesus died, then we are men most foolish. Because the process continues on, because, first of all, God deals in weeks, just like we deal in weeks and we are in the 7th day of God’s week, so God’s week isn’t finished.(as we know it). So that means the process is continuing. So, if Jesus, in His day, was made a surety of a better covenant, and He was made a Pattern for us, then we became a pattern for someone else to make this covenant even more sure. “We are as He is in this world,” and we need to lock in on this. We’re not “as He was,” we “are as He IS in this world.” He said that He did some great things, and that we’re going to do those same works and greater works. He wasn’t talking about greater things in power and authority, because we HAVE the power and authority already, but, because we were going to become aware that we ARE what He IS, in a many membered man. When He did it, He was one individual doing those things, we have become a many membered man doing the same things and that’s why He said, greater things shall we do. And we really need to realize, it’s not that some are expecting these things to be done, GOD IS EXPECTING those things to be done.
VS 23-24, “And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death; VS 24, “But, this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.”
Now, If Jesus died, for us, and if we died with Him, and if we were buried with Him, and if we resurrected with Him, then we are in the priesthood with Him. And if that priesthood is unchangeable, then we, as a priesthood, are unchangeable. Not only that, Jesus, when He died, He didn’t die and all Christians went and died with Him, it wasn’t all Christians that were buried with Him, it wasn’t all Christians that resurrected with Him, Romans doesn’t say that. ALL MEN is included in this. The only reason that the world doesn’t manifest that resurrected life is because, they don’t know they resurrected!! Amen. (Heck, as far as that goes, MOST Christian don’t realize it!) Once we came into the knowledge that we resurrected with Him, we repented of our sins and we began to walk that resurrected life with Him. The world doesn’t walk with Him, because they don’t know YET that they resurrected. If that was not the case, then Jesus would have to come back every time, and die for each of them as they came unto Him! How many millions of times would He have to come back and die all over again!!?? But, He died ONCE FOR ALL! Hallelujah!
In the Old Testament priesthood, those priests had to atone the sins for a year, and not only of for the children of Israel, but Egyptians WITH the children of Israel. Because God said, “not only your seed Abraham, but those who come and stay with you.”
And when Moses left Egypt, some Egyptians went with him and EVERYBODY that was there when the priests went behind the vail, their sins were atoned for. Now those priests had to do that every year, but when Jesus came, He didn’t have to do that every year. “ONCE FOR ALL.”
VS 24, “But, this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. Let’s look at this a minute. IF this scripture were in Matt, Mark, Luke or John, it would have a completely different meaning. Because in those Books, Jesus is physically alive. He has not physically died for our sins yet. But, here, in Hebrews, “this man” that’s being talked about, is not only the man who died. Because the man, Jesus, as complete as He was in God, Christ was not completed. Once He, Jesus, died, and we became the Body of Christ, He THEN became the Head of Christ, and us the Body of Christ. And, as it says in Ephesians 3. “the whole family in earth and heaven is named Jesus Christ.” So, when God looks at the earth, and sees you, or me, or Tom, Dick or Harry, He sees the Blood of Jesus, that covered the sins of ALL men. Hallelujah! So, when Jesus died, and resurrected we all resurrected with Him, just like Him. Because He was ONE man that died, we are many members that resurrected, and HIS ministry continues forever! Praise His Name!!
VS 25, “Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.”
He ever liveth to make intercession for mankind, period. But, in the first part, “save them to the uttermost,” this word “uttermost” means, “into the completion.” He is able to save, into the completion! Now, one man’s completion may not be the same as another man’s. But, whatever work, God has started in them, He is faithful to finish in them. And He didn’t start the work when Jesus died, He started the work in Genesis, when He made us in His Image. Amen!! Amen!! He’s able to save into the completion. I like that!!
We’ll stop here and next study we’ll start in Philippians.
We only have about 6 more scriptures to look at, (unless Father adds to this) but I want to start this study in Philippians.
Philippians 1:3-6, “I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, (4) Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy. (5) For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now; (6) Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until —-you look just like Jesus.” Now here in King James it reads “he will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
The church says that this verse means, he’s going to perform it until Jesus comes. That’s not what is being said. He is saying that he’s going to perform the work in us until we KNOW that we look like Jesus. That’s the whole idea of Jesus coming as the Pattern. So that God could perform a work in us until we look like the Pattern. It’s not a certain day, but it’s until we come into the image, IN OUR HEART (mind-Christ Mind).
Eph. 4:13, “Till we all come into the unity of the faith, AND, until we all come into the knowledge of the Son of God, AND, until we all come unto a perfect man, AND until we all come unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ…”
Not the fullness of Jesus, but the fullness of Christ. This is why I say that when Jesus was here, His embodiment was the fullness of the Godhead, but Christ wasn’t fulfilled. Christ couldn’t be fulfilled until Jesus died and became the Head of Christ and we became the Body of Christ. So “until we all come into that knowledge,” because a lot of sisters and brothers in the Body of Christ DON’T KNOW WHO THE SON OF GOD IS! See, If the Son of God was Jesus, because, he’s talking to the church of Ephesus, in Paul’s mind, then he would not have had to say this to the church because the church knew who the Son of God was. Paul said “until we all come into the knowledge of the Son of God,” understanding, that Paul had a greater revelation than the other 12. Paul knew that when Jesus died, that He went back to being the Father and we became the son.
(John 17: 5, “And now O Father glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.”
So Paul had to emphasize here that “until we all come into the knowledge of the Son of God unto a perfect man.” Because the Son of God is a perfect man, ONE man, the Corporate Man. When we all come into that knowledge of Eph 4:13, we will then be able to minister a word to those people of another age. I know this is new to many of you, but I ask that you take this before Father and allow Him to show you. Don’t go with an attitude; just go seeking HIS TRUTH, not what we’ve been taught for years. This is why Paul said “we minister to the ages to come.” We’ve so stuck in this little mode that we think that what we minister in this day is ONLY FOR THIS DAY!! But, God’s process has never been like that. God has always revealed a word for another age. Track it out in the OT.
We’re still talking about God reconciling all men unto Himself.
Genesis 7:23, “And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth; and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.”
Now, here we have the scripture that tells us, speaking of the account of the flood of Noah’s day, that every living substance was destroyed. We know, through the account that they all died. The scripture also said, “that God is the same, yesterday, today and forever.” So, in the flood of Noah’s day, all those people died. (except Noah and his family). And that’s because they walked with God. Because the scripture says “that all flesh was destroyed,” but Noah didn’t die. So, I don’t think God was talking about literal flesh, I think He was talking about carnality. Everything that walked in a beast nature is what died. Keep in mind, that all of those people died. And let’s look at Matt. We have to know how the mind of God works to some degree. And we have to see God through God’s eyes and not man’s eyes, because we’ll never see God if we look through man’s eyes.
Mt 27: 50-53, “Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. (51) And behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; (52) And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose.”
Now, this was not when Jesus went into the lower parts of the earth and preached for 3 days, this was when He died. When He died, the veil was rent, the earth did quake, the rocks did rent, the graves were opened, and many of the saints which slept arose. So, we have the saints resurrected already, “and came out of their graves after His resurrection …” so they stood in a resurrected state for 3 days. Because He went into the lower parts of the earth for 3 days. So, what I’m saying here is, first of all those saints that resurrected, they resurrected and stood in a resurrected life for 3 days ,until Jesus resurrected. 3 natural days. But, you and I and the church has been standing in a resurrected life for 3 days, God’s days, but the church doesn’t see that yet. We’re still waiting for something to happen, like the rapture people, so that we can be resurrected. But, I’m telling you that since the day He died and for the last 3 days, we’ve been in a resurrected life! (and it’s just being realized!) It’s just that after the 3 days, read what it says,
Verse 53 “And came out of the graves after his resurrection and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.”
So it’s going to be after the 3 days or during this 3rd day that many are gong to see what the manifestation of God is really all about. OK, So, in the days of Noah they all died, and here in Mt it says,
“that MANY of the bodies of the saints came out of the graves…”
Not everyone came out of the graves, but MANY came out. That means that if MANY came out of the graves, that there were some still left in the graves.
“And the graves were opened; and MANY of the bodies of the saints arose.”
Not ALL of the bodies of the saints came forth. There were still some that God called SAINTS that did not resurrect. OK, let’s go to 2 Peter.
2 Peter 2:4-7, “For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness to be reserved unto judgment, (5) And spared not the old world, but save Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; (6) and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah unto ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them as ensample unto those that after should live ungodly. (7) And delivered just Lot vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked…”
Now turn to 1Peter 3:18-20,
“For Christ, also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust (those people back in Noah’s day were unjust, and those in Sodom and Gomorrah were unjust) that he might bring us to God; (bring who to God? the just and the unjust) being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit; (19) By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison.” (now, who was put in prison? The angels that fell, the people in Noah’s day and the people of Sodom and Gomorrah, but He called them angels. And He called them saints. (which sometimes were disobedient, when once the long-suffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.” So, here were all these people that God called angels and saints, and they were disobedient and God put them in chains. When Jesus died, those saints that weren’t in chains resurrected right then, when He died, the saints (that’s what God called them) that were still in prison. Jesus went down and preached to them. God did not destroy them, He preserved them, until the day that Jesus went and preached to them. I say this, to show that the church has to change that thinking that once someone dies, they are finished. That’s not the case. Just like the Rich Man and Lazarus. The rich man wasn’t finished, because he talked. It’s just that he talked to the wrong person, he talked to Abraham and he should have talked to God. Amen! His “motives” had not been changed YET.
Luke 12: 46-48, “The Lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. (now the church reads this and says, see when he dies, he’s with the unbelievers) And there is a portion for the unbeliever, but let’s go on. (47) And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. (OK, he’ll have his portion with the unbelievers). (48) But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. (Now with the carnal thoughts, we get the idea that we’ll be tied up somewhere and beaten with stripes, like Jesus was beaten with stripes.) For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required, and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
Now let’s look at the meaning of “stripes.” It’s the Greek word (#4127 in Strong’s), “PLEGE” (play-gay) = to inflict calamity with the intent to FORM, SHAPE or MOLD, Doesn’t this make you think differently, when you know that meaning? Hallelujah!!!
So, there is Life On Both Sides of the River, and all glory to our Father, His Plan includes all people. He will not lose even one person. He is so very glorious in His Wisdom and Love. We need to see Him as He is. We do not serve a God that cannot bring into being the plan that He made, before the foundation of the world. He is All Knowing, All Powerful and certainly All Loving of His creation. Amen
