GOD WHERE ARE YOU?
THE ALPHA AND OMEGA
NARROW IS THE WAY
I was thinking of this verse the other day and had a revelation on it:
“Of a truth I perceive, that God is no respecter of persons.” Acts 10:34 KJV
Peter stated the above quote after he had earlier heard God within himself speak, “Call no man common or unclean.” Usually, Acts 10:34 is interpreted as meaning all can come to be saved, no matter what race, color or creed one is. However, I am hearing God saying He does not see any of us as separate from Him or each other. He cannot respect “persons” or individuals, because that is separation. He sees us all as one in Him and in each other. This is the truth Peter perceived! I am not sure we see ourselves as one, but as separate beings, yet. Isn’t that what Jesus prayed for in John 17:21-23, that we may all be one? Perhaps He spoke forth that all would recognize oneness with God and each other as one body. -L. C.
Where is God? Have you ever seen someone look up to the sky and pray to God (To them: probably an old man on a throne up above somewhere…), looking for their answer and deliverance from outside themselves? If so, consider the two verses together:
“…Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Colossians 1:27
“I can do all things through Christ that empowers me.” Philippians 4:13
Both passages together clearly show that our hope and power comes from within our very being. “How?” One may ask. Through Christ: the knowledge of your oneness with God. God is the life-giving power within all. The idea of being separate from God by placing Him somewhere outside of you is illusionary, and in effect makes you perceive yourself as helpless and powerless. All may be achieved through your source within you, by simply connecting with that source. If you are looking outside yourself for answers, you are ignoring the truth of who you really are.
GOD, WHERE ARE YOU?
“Make friends quickly with your accuser, while you are going with him to court, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the guard, and you be put in prison; truly, I say to you, you will never get out till you have paid the last penny.” –Matthew 5:25-26
Lately, I have not been able to stop thinking about the verse which states, “whatever a man sows, he shall also reap.” In the above parable stated by Jesus, the accuser, judge and guard are one’s conscience. If I choose to darken my soul, I will pay a price of suffering until my wrong thinking is undone. That is paying the last penny. It is not God’s judgment on man, but a simple law of God. If I choose suffering, I will suffer. If I choose love and peace I will know love and peace. No one can attack you, but yourself. “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” Guard your soul, and escape a self-imposed prison of darkness. As Socrates once said, “Know thyself.”

THE ALPHA AND OMEGA
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End…Who is, and Who was, and Who is to come…” –Revelation 1:8
This verse is typically understood to be Jesus’ claim as God to be worshipped because he states his prior and therefore eternal existence. However, I think he was stating something greater. Jesus is proclaiming that he is a picture of who we really are… our true condition spiritually. Your true condition of who you really are cannot be changed by this physical realm. It only appears that way. The separation in our minds have produced an illusion which we each individually see and believe as mankind being powerless, imperfect and fallen away from God. But, Jesus has demontrated for all that the misperception will be healed in all of us, and the true state known by all; hence all will be “resurrected” to oneness back to God and each other. Jesus said, “The things that are impossible with men are possible with God.” Is anything impossible for God?
NARROW IS THE WAY
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Matthew 7:13-14
This passage is usually used by religious leaders to “scare” people into following their doctrines and teachings concerning heaven and hell. But the two paths are quite easily understood when one considers how most people live in this world. Most are living outwardly, being motivated by this physical realm and its riches, thus looking to it for answers and happiness. The problem is that this physical world and its riches are temporary and not eternal; thus the foundation for one’s life being led this way is like a house being built on sand. It is an illusion, not eternal, and will eventually fall. Therefore, the broad way which leads unto destruction (self-induced I might add!) is to be led outwardly; following the five senses and mind as led by the physical world completely void of the leadings of one’s soul by the Holy Spirit. The narrow gate then, is to be inwardly led by the Holy Spirit, which communicates to your soul through an inner knowing. This way the mind and physical body can come into harmony with the Spirit of God, being led as one from within. The truths understood this way are eternal and is like building a house (or your life) on a solid foundation – “a rock.” The Spirit brings Life…
