What is the Restoration of the Soul

God is Spirit, invisible to our natural eyes. He is without beginning and has no ending, and mysteriously He is the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. Everything created begins and ends in God. The vastness of the whole universe, worlds seen and unseen are but a drop in the ocean of His infinite being. Omnipotent in power, and yet God creates and performs His will not by might or by power; nor by physical labor, as we do; God accomplishes His will by His word, by the breath of His Spirit. He called forth light in Genesis 1:3 by the utterance of His mouth. And there was light!

His wisdom is unsearchable; His ways are hid; His voice is inaudible and His form is invisible. All these attributes make God a total mystery to our finite natural mind, which is the reason why most people do not know God in reality as He is. Indeed, we do not even know how immeasurable and incomprehensible the mystery of God is. How can the finite begin to discern Him Who is infinite? We begin to know the mystery of God by the revelation of God, which is one of the reasons the Father sent His Son: Jesus Christ came to reveal God.

The primary purpose of this study is to begin to open the mysteries of God to our understanding. Man was created in the image and after the likeness of God, Christ Himself being the Firstfruit of God’s creation. Unlocking the mystery of the creation of man and the incarnation of Christ become scriptural keys to further open and reveal the mysteries of God. Therefore we will endeavor to understand the spiritual anatomy of man, the essentials of his spirit, his soul, the man created male and female, his departure from the plans of God and ultimately the purpose of his creation.

This study will quicken our spiritual consciousness to some fundamental truths pertaining to God and to man. God is Spirit, which is male and female functioning as one. He reproduces from within His own being and not by sperm and egg. Man was created as spirit, in the image of God. Like God, we are programmed to reproduce from within and bring forth the Seed of God. This does not mean that we birth a literal child. The Seed that we produce is spirit – the Christ, our true spiritual identity.

We deliberately divided this broad topic into two separate booklets, parts 1 and 2. This first booklet entitled “The Soul Part 1” brings hidden mysteries concerning the soul into the light. This booklet details how Adam departed from fellowship with God, became amnesiac to his spiritual identity, and was deceived until he believed he is a mortal living soul reproducing children subject to death. This demands of us a scriptural understanding of the evolution of the soul – which God never created – and demands that we know God’s plan to restore our soul. Then – and only then we can fulfill God’s original plan of reproducing by the spirit and birthing forth God’s Seed.

The second portion of this inexhaustible subject is in a booklet entitled “The Soul – Part 2”, and will focus on one man, Abraham. Because Gal 3:16 identifies Abraham’s Seed – singular – as Christ, Abraham is an integral scriptural character in God’s process to awaken mankind from Adamic amnesia, and to demonstrate that we are capable of reproducing the Seed or the Heir of God from within our being. What God awakened in Abraham’s consciousness and what He promised this giant of faith holds true for you and for me today.

The Promised Land that God gave to Abraham and to his Seed as an eternal possession and inheritance is allegorically our physical body, which is now under the rule of the soul through the deception of the carnal mind. Once the soul is dethroned from usurping power over our body, we overcome death, and Christ becomes truly Lord over our body.

The carnal mind was in essence and type destroyed when the crown of thorns penetrated the head of our Savior. He was crucified at Golgotha, which means the place of the skull. The skull is the seat of our brain, or our mind and consciousness. The skull also portrays death. When He breathed His last breath on the cross, the carnal mind which had the power of death over our body was forever destroyed. The Last Adam, Christ, took His soul -all of mankind – through death, once and for all. Now we can begin to be awakened by the voice of God to our consciousness to our origination as spirit when we were created in Christ.

In the Bible, a mystery (from the Greek musterion Strong’s # 3466) is a hidden thing, a secret. Mysteries are truths, doctrines, or hidden wisdom which have been concealed and hidden purposely by God from past generations. Mysteries can never be understood until they are revealed by God. Once revealed, they can only be spiritually discerned and never intellectually or religiously apprehended. In Luke 8:10, Jesus tells the disciples that He spoke the hidden mysteries of God’s Kingdom in parables so that they alone can comprehend by revelation their hidden meaning; to those who cannot hear what the Spirit is saying, the mystery remains veiled to their mind and heart.

And He said, “To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God, but to the rest it is given in parables, that ‘Seeing they may not see, And hearing they may not understand.’”

Mysteries are made known by the spirit of revelation (Ephesians 3:3). And mysteries are sovereignly revealed by God to His apostles and prophets (3:5).

How that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already, by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ), which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets: that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel.

The Bible – the New Testament, more precisely – mentions the

following mysteries:

1. The mysteries of the Kingdom of God or of heaven (Mat 13:11; Mar 4:11; Luke 8:10)

2. The mystery of the spiritual blindness and ultimate restoration of national Israel (Rom 11:25)

3. The mystery of overcoming death and putting on immortality (1 Cor 15:51)

4. The mystery of the union of gentiles and Jews in the body of Christ (Eph 3:3 -6)

5. The mystery of the union of Christ and His church (Eph 5:32)

6. The mystery of Christ being in and among us (Col 1:27)

7. The mystery of God and of Christ (Col 2:2)

8. The mystery of Christ (Eph 3:4; Col 4:3)

9. The mystery of iniquity (2 Th 2:7)

10. The mystery of Christ’s incarnation (1 Tim 3:16)

11. The mystery of the seven churches – and their messengers – in Revelation 1:20

12. The mystery of Babylon (Rev 17:5,7)

Except for the mystery of iniquity and the mystery of Babylon, all biblical mysteries are bodily expressed, divinely revealed and ultimately fully manifested in the Kingdom of God through the Person of Christ the Lord. He is the Logos Who is without beginning nor ending, and He is the Logos made flesh incarnate. He is Life and yet He came to die…only to overcome death. He is the fullness of the Godhead bodily, yet He indwells every son of God.

Jesus Christ is the total expression of God; He declared in John 10:30, “I and my Father are ONE”. Jesus Christ and God are not two separate entities; they are unified to the point of being One. This immutable truth invalidates the “trinity teaching” which represents God as three separate entities: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus did not say that He and the Father worked together in harmony, always reaching agreement. Christ declared that He and the Father are O-N-E and the same being. There is only one Spirit (Eph 4:4) and that Spirit is God.

In Jewish liturgy, Deuteronomy 6:4-5 is called the shema (from the verb “to hear”) and is considered one of the choicest passages of the Torah: the Jews wrote these two verses in their phylacteries, and recited them twice daily in their morning and evening prayers.

Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. (Deuteronomy 6:4, 5) Deuteronomy 6:4 can be interpreted “Yahweh Our God, Yahweh is One” or “Yahweh our God is one Yahweh.”

God clothed Himself in mystery. But He gave us a view of a thread which runs throughout the veil hiding the mysteries of His being. God put that thread in His holy temple, until one day that singular thread was cut, and the veil of God’s mysteries was torn down from top to bottom. And our spirit began to understand His mysteries: the thread was Christ the Lord, God both hid and revealed. We are His holy temple, but we could not see Him: God was not veiled from us; instead, our own heart was veiled.

But once we saw God, we realized that we are like Him, for we were created in Him and came out of Him. God put that veil in us not to conceal, but rather to reveal Himself. His image and likeness, which is our true identity, has always been within us, and we have never been separated from Him. We looked for God only to conclude that He is in us and that we are in Him. The evidence is in His written word.

Then God said,”Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. (Genesis 1:26, 27)

God is Spirit (John 4:24)

The man Whom God created in His image and after His likeness is also Spirit. The first – and only – man created according to Genesis 1:26-27 is Christ Jesus. Christ is Word in John 1:1; He is also the same word that God spoke in Genesis 1:26, 27. In the beginning was the Word, [which God spoke] and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1)

And in Christ, all of humanity was created – as spirit, having the potential to be fully expressed as mankind in the earth in due time and season. All of us are the children of God, having come out of Christ, the only created Son of God. God’s intent is for us to respond to Him in obedience, that we may grow into mature sons of God.

“I said, “You are gods, And all of you are children of the Most High.(Psalm 82:6)

Ephesians 2:10 confirms that all mankind was created in Christ Jesus.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them..

The phrase “His workmanship” speaks of how God formed our bodies individually in our mother’s womb. Most Christians mistakenly think that their conception in the womb is the beginning of life, overlooking their creation as spirit in Christ before the world began. Jeremiah 1:5 is further proof that God knew us, spirit to spirit, way before we were conceived in the womb.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

Indeed, knowing that our true identity is spirit and that we were created in Christ is an indispensable foundation for true spiritual consciousness and growth.

Genesis 1:27 is a well of revelation which begins to unfold the mystery of God, the mystery of Christ and the mystery of God in man.

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

This one man Whom God created is Spirit. Secondly, this man is Christ Jesus. Thirdly, whatever attributes were in God were exactly duplicated in His image – the man that He had created with the word of His mouth. Because all mankind was created in the one man Christ of Genesis 1:27, consequently every attribute of God that Christ possessed was authentically replicated in all mankind. Hence, Christ and all mankind is identical to God: they are Spirit, which is both male and female functioning together as one. This is a foundational truth that begins to open up the mysteries of God, of Christ and of God in man. God is Spirit; the man of Genesis 1:27 is also spirit. And therefore all humanity which was created in that man of Genesis 1:27 has the same origin – God – and has one true iden tity which is spirit.

The reality that spirit is both male and female is not easily understood by most Christians. In 1 Cor 2:14, Paul states, But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

The natural man is one who is ruled by the carnal or natural mind, the mind which is governed by the five senses, by the awareness of self/ego outside of God and which is subject to the appetites of the flesh rather than the guidance of the spirit. The natural man does not only read the scriptures by the carnal/intellectual mind; the natural man also translated the scriptures from the original Hebrew and Greek and taught them from generation to generation by the same mind which cannot understand the things of the Spirit of God!

Ironically, this mistranslation of the scriptures is the perfect analogy of the words of Jesus – the blind leading the blind, and both falling into the ditch and pit of doctrinal error, which is the bedrock of all religious traditions. These traditions become strongholds in the religious mind, creating a false imagination of the reality of all things spiritual – from God, to Christ, to hell, to Satan, to heaven, to man’s origination in the divine and man’s spirit being both male and female working in unity, as does God’s Spirit.

This brings us back to Genesis 1:27, “So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”

This poor translation has erroneously led readers to believe that this verse references the creation of the male gender and the female gender. It does not. The man that God created out of Himself according to Genesis 1:27 is spirit, and like God, this man was both male and female. God did not create two entities, one having a male body and one having a female body; God reproduced His own Spirit, and spirit is invisible, immaterial, and has no body. It is both male and female because like God, it can reproduce itself from within its own being.

In the image of God He created him: him is the singular objective pronoun, indicating that God duplicated Himself and reproduced out of Himself a singular creation. Male and female He created them: them is the third person plural pronoun that the translators inserted attempting to explain the plurality of God’s creation (male and female) not realizing that the male and female are both contained within the singular image – and singular creation – of God. The verse following – Genesis 1:28 – affirms this truth.

Then God blessed (them), and God said (to them),”Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

In this most significant verse, God the Father empowers and endows Christ Jesus with all authority over creation and blesses Him to be fruitful and to multiply: that is, to reproduce the image of God ad infinitum, without number as the stars of heaven, countless as the sand of the sea. The Father empowers Christ to bring forth an entire race of the divine. “I said,“You are gods, And all of you are children of the Most High.”” (Psalm 82:6)

Elohim blessed the spirit man He created with the blessing of fruitfulness that he may multiply and fill the earth (Genesis 1:28). Through the patriarchs Noah, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, God demonstrated that the blessing of fruitfulness extended beyond their natural lineage and manifested in their entire food chain – from the cattle, to the fowl of the air and to their crops.

How did God restore the earth and all living things when the earth’s population was a singular family – Noah’s? Why did Abraham have much cattle? How could Isaac plant crops during famine and reap a hundredfold harvest in the same year (Genesis 26:12)? How did Jacob end up with more cattle than his uncle Laban? May you see the light of His word.

“Go out of the ark, you and your wife, and your sons and your sons’ wives with you. Bring out with you every living thing of all flesh that is with you: birds and cattle and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, so that they may abound on the earth, and be fruitful and multiply on the earth.” (Genesis 8:16-17)

“And as for you, be fruitful and multiply; Bring forth abundantly in the earth And multiply in it.” Then God spoke to Noah and to his sons with him, saying: “And as for Me, behold, I establish My covenant with you and with your descendants after you, and with every living creature that is with you: the birds, the cattle, and every beast of the earth with you, of all that go out of the ark, every beast of the earth.” (Genesis 9:7-10)

He also blessed them, and they multiplied greatly; And He did not let their cattle decrease. (Psalm 107:38)

The gospel of the Kingdom which manifests the rule of Christ through His body in the earth enlightens us to see that the fruitfulness with which Elohim has blessed us empowers us to cause the earth, nature, the land and our cattle to be fruitful. Once our eyes are open to this revelation, we become responsible before Father God to share these hidden truths with our brothers in Africa, India, Thailand, the Philippines and elsewhere that they may increase and see their crops, cattle and land multiply and prosper.

In all of Genesis chapter 1 and through Genesis 2:3, God is referred to by the Hebrew name Elohim (Strong’s #430), which is a plural noun. Elohim speaks of God the Father; Elohim also speaks of Jesus Christ Who is one with the Father and Who has always been in the bosom of the Father. And because we were created in Christ Jesus before the world began, you and I are also intrinsically, inseparably and inherently part of the Elohim.

Beginning in Genesis 2:4, and throughout the entire second chapter of Genesis, God is referenced by a new name: “”Jehovah Elohim””, or “The LORD God.” Progressively, “The Eternal One” was also used. In Hebrew, Jehovah is a four-letter word, YHWH, or what is known as the Tetragrammaton, the four-letter name of God (tetra is four and gramma is letter). It first appears in Genesis 2:4. The Jews so revered the name YHWH that they would not speak it outside the temple, and when declaring it in public, they substituted the title “Adonai” (My Lord) for YHWH. YHWH basically means “To Be” which implies that “God Is”; the LORD God identified Himself to Moses in Exodus 3:14 as “I AM”, meaning that He exists continually, He is self existent, all by Himself and for Himself, with no beginning or ending, the uncreated Creator who is all self sufficient; “I AM that I AM”.

Who is “Jehovah Elohim” or the LORD God? He is the Logos of John 1:1, the word that God spoke in Genesis 1:26, the man Whom God created in His image and Who was endowed with all the attributes of divinity. Yes, He is the Lord Jesus Christ, the One by Whom all things were created. There was never a time that He did not exist. When Genesis 1:27 declares that Elohim created man (Christ Jesus) in his own image, the verb created (bara in Hebrew) means to bring out of Himself, to chisel out, to carve out, to produce from the same stock. “Jehovah Elohim” eternally self existed in the bosom of the Father; Elohim gave Christ Jesus expression out of Himself that Christ may fulfill a divine assignment: to replicate and duplicate divinity in a new race called Elohim who would in the process of time inhabit an earthly tabernacle. Jesus Christ is the total expression of God; and Jesus Christ is God fully expressed as man.

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. (Genesis 2:7)

The spirit man, Christ Jesus, who was created in Genesis 1:26, 27 was commanded by Elohim to be fruitful, to multiply and fill the earth. Christ Jesus is first introduced in Genesis 2:4 as the LORD God, “Jehovah Elohim”. Genesis 2:7 records Christ’s first act: He multiplied Himself, not by sperm and egg, but by forming mankind out of the dust of the ground and breathing into his nostrils the divine breath. This breath is the eternal life of God; it is the mind, wisdom, intelligence and creative attributes of “Jehovah Elohim”. And above all, that breath is the very spirit of God the image of Genesis 1:26, 27 – which is Christ being male and female functioning as one.

Some time later, the man formed from the dust became a living soul. Christ planted a garden in Eden where He placed the man that He had formed.

And the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him” (Genesis 2:18)

However, before addressing the issue of Adam being alone, the LORD God brings all the beasts of the field and all the fowls of the air that He had formed out of the ground; He brings them to Adam to name them, meaning to declare their character and nature. Then in Genesis 2:21 the LORD God caused a deep sleep – altered consciousness – to come upon Adam, during which He took the female part of the spirit of Adam out of Adam, made her a separate entity, and then He closed the flesh of Adam. This is the first biblical mention of the term ‘flesh’.

Then the LORD God brought this ‘separate female part of Adam’s spirit’ to Adam. Upon seeing her, Adam declares, “You are bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh, so I will call you woman (Heb eeshaw), because you were taken out of me, the man (Heb eesh).”

Adam saw the woman as a part of his flesh body but not as part of his spirit. Prior to becoming a living soul, Adam had a spiritual body in which he existed in the Garden of Eden where he walked and talked to the LORD God daily. The Bible does not specify the duration of Adam’s fully spiritual existence – which might have been millions of years. Once Adam was transformed from a spirit being to a living soul, his life and consciousness were now centered in his soul, or the female part – the woman – who had now become an entity quite separate from Adam. Adam’s life was then expressed through the woman, the living soul.

As of that moment, all of humanity, both male and female, became that woman – the woman being Adam with amnesia. That is, Adam who was created as spirit forgot totally about his original identity as spirit, and identified himself with the soul which in reality has no life in herself once separated from the spirit. The reason is simple yet profound: the LORD God breathed into Adam His eternal life, which is spirit, and that spirit is both male and female functioning as one.

The first three chapters are not literal; the language is symbolic or allegoric. There is no literal tree of life; nor is there a literal tree which yields the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. Serpents do not speak intelligibly to humans in the manner that Genesis chapter 3 describes the serpent’s conversation with Eve. Likewise, the female aspect of the spirit was never taken out of Adam, because spirit cannot be divided. God is spirit and God can never be divided or diminished. God is one and He is immutable. Furthermore, spirit has no gender: there is no such thing as a male spirit and a female spirit. Spirit is indivisibly both male and female functioning as one. The woman is spirit, which is both male and female functioning as one; likewise, the man is spirit which is both male and female functioning as one. Why? Because from God’s perspective, the man is Christ and the woman is Christ. And Christ is spirit. Galatians 3:28 declares, There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Genesis 5:2 shows that God makes no distinction between the man and the woman; Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

The male and the female whom God blessed is not the man Adam and his wife Eve; God blessed the male and the female who constitute the spirit of Adam (mankind) and they are one and the same spirit. Indeed, God never recognized the woman as being separate from the man. The woman – as a separate entity was never created by God; the woman as a separate entity was formed by the mind of man.

This reveals to us the truth hidden in Genesis 2:21, 22. The LORD God did not literally take the woman out of the man. He did not literally remove the female part of the spirit out of Adam. The language is allegorical, not unlike a surgeon opening the skin and muscles with a scalpel to reveal the organ hidden underneath. The organ has no life in itself; it exists as part of the whole body and functions properly as long as it is under the authority of the government of the body, the brain. Cut the organ out and death will soon follow. To separate any aspect of the spirit from the mind of Christ is a sentence of death. Life is in the spirit.

The only way we can understand the function of the soul is to cut deep with the scalpel to expose it, give it a form that is visible – this form being the woman. Genesis 2:23 clearly states that it was Adam who declared that this entity which came out of him shall be called woman. God never called her woman nor did God remove her out of the spirit of Adam.

According to the allegory of Genesis 2:21-22, the woman was removed from within Adam to become a separate entity walking beside him and changing Adam’s life completely. Adam was faced with the disobedience of his wife, requiring him to surrender his own life in order to make atonement for her. In this atonement, Adam became one with her as she found herself outside the divine atmosphere of the Garden of Eden. After this, life was sustained by the sweat of his brow, for Adam became responsible for providing for his wife and for himself. His ability to function as spirit was taken away from him. Again, this is not literal; this is still part of the allegory. Adam had come under the hypnotism of the mind of the soul – the carnal mind – which deceived Eve and has continually deceived all mankind thereafter. All humanity has now become the living soul; and like Eve, all mankind has been deceived by the carnal mind.

Now the mind of Christ is delivering us from that deception, opening our eyes to the truth that we originated as spirit in Christ. Spirit is male and female functioning as one. Spirit can only function as a singular expression of God and not as a dual expression, such as male and female becoming one flesh. This duality of existence is a figment of the faulty imagination of the carnal mind. Paul declares,But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. (1 Cor 6:17)

Immediately after the soul/woman is revealed to our understanding at the end of Genesis chapter 2, the very next thing we witness is the beginning of our sorrow: the soul/woman is functioning alone without any input from the spirit who represents God. The soul is having a conversation with the craftiest of all the beasts of the field, the serpent. This serpent represents the carnal or the natural mind of the soul which has no contact with the mind of Christ. Eve/the soul was easily deceived by the serpent because she did not communicate with the spirit. She acted independent of the spirit. The serpent did not try to beguile Adam because he was spirit and had access to the mind of Christ. Paul affirms this in 1 Timothy 2:14; And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression.

Adam’s relationship with God was based upon obedience, for God said, “You can eat the fruit of all the trees in the Garden except the one in the middle of the Garden, which is the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Do not eat of it because the day you eat of it you will die.” (Genesis 2:17)

This was the only point of obedience for Adam; not a list of do’s and don’ts. Eve was told by her soulish mind that she would not die if she ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. In fact the serpent (her mind) said, “Your eyes will be open if you eat the fruit of that tree.” Falling for that deception, Eve took the fruit and ate it and her eyes were opened to another world she had never seen before. Then she offered the fruit to Adam to eat. Adam had a choice because he was not deceived, having never spoken to the serpent, and because he had the mind of Christ.

Adam could have said to Eve, “God said, you will die the day you eat the fruit of that tree, so I will not eat of the fruit with you.” Had Adam done that, there would have been no redemption for all mankind because there would be no atonement. Adam knew by the mind of the spirit that there was a time when this situation could be reversed, and mankind can be redeemed back to God. But there was a hefty price to pay: Adam would have to redeem the woman – which is all mankind – with his own death. So Adam willingly, and not through deception, ate the fruit that he may become one with the woman just as Christ became one with us.

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. (2 Cor 5:21)

Adam ate of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil in order to become one with us. This is called the atonement, or atonement, which is kippur (#3725) in Hebrew. kippur or atonement is derived from a verb meaning to pardon sin, to cover transgression, to appease, to obtain forgiveness, to expiate an offense, to free from penalty and charge. The Day of Atonement -Yom Kippur – is the holiest day in the Jewish calendar. Exodus 29:32-33 tells us why Adam willingly ate the fruit of the tree to make atonement for us.

Then Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram, and the bread that is in the basket, by the door of the tabernacle of meeting. They shall eat those things with which the atonement was made, to consecrate and to sanctify them; but an outsider shall not eat them, because they are holy.

Adam did not eat the fruit of the tree to get knowledge, because he had access to the mind of Christ which has all the knowledge of God. When Adam (Christ) ate of the fruit of that tree, his action of atonement constituted the fruit holy and this took away and purged the curse of death from us.

The law to Israel declared that the soul who sins shall die (Ezekiel 18:20). The woman taken out of Adam became the living soul, which is now capable of independent life with no connection to Adam who is spirit. Adam cannot sin because he is spirit and that spirit is Christ. However it is the soul that can sin, for it is not living in divine relationship with God.

Every person living on the earth today has become a living soul. According to the law, the judgment of death is on every soul. But God never created a living soul; the living soul has no identity in God. Hence, the judgment of death on the soul that sins is not a divine judgment against sinners. Ezekiel 18:20 reveals a deeper truth: the soulish life, having no true reality in God is actually a living death. It is dead because it exists in a state of separation from God.

Because spirit cannot be divided and the female / soul cannot be removed from the spirit (Genesis 2:21 being allegorical), we have never been separated from God because of our sins. Even our sins are not real because they were committed by an entity (the soul) which God never created. The living soul does not exist in God’s reckoning; we have created the soul ourselves when we believed that were separated from the spirit and ultimately from God.

For 6,000 years, humanity has failed to understand the spiritual truths hid in Genesis 1:27, that in creation, God joined male and female together in a union that cannot be broken. The man who was created in God’s image and likeness is spirit just like God. Therefore the male aspect and the female aspect of this spirit cannot be separated, just as much as God Himself cannot be partitioned into male and female. This is the spiritual truth that the mind of God recognizes. Humanity has failed to grasp this fundamental truth because man became a living soul guided by his natural/carnal mind, which in the process of time has lost the input from the mind of Christ that it once had in Eden.

So mankind looks upon itself with the natural mind and falsely perceives a wide schism between male and female and makes a sharp division between them, a division that God does not uphold because it has no reality in spirit. This humanly perceived division between male and female has been generationally reinforced by traditions, cultural biases, false doctrines and an impoverished understanding of the scriptures. The blind leading the blind. But now Father is opening our spirit eyes to comprehend this truth that our carnal mind has deceptively veiled from our consciousness.

And He [Jesus] answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.” (Matthew 19:4-6)

Almost every wedding ceremony concludes with the quotation of Matthew 19:4-6, because tradition has erroneously ascribed this passage to marriage and the natural union between man and woman. But now the Spirit is revealing the deeper truth that male and female were joined together by God to function together as one in the spirit man that He created.

Marriage is the natural concept reflecting the spiritual union between male and female; however in marriage, the man and the woman become one flesh. The higher reality is the unbroken union of male and female in spirit. The ultimate embodiment of this union is the woman (humanity) entering into spiritual union with Christ (the Last Adam) in what Paul refers to as one of the mysteries of God in Ephesians 5:30-32.

For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

In Genesis 1:28, Elohim gave Adam the assignment to be fruitful, to multiply and fill the earth. That assignment was not given to Adam and Eve, the woman whom he erroneously perceived through his natural mind to be separate from him. The assignment was given to Adam who was spirit, who had the female within his spirit and not outside of him. Therefore until the female is restored to her God-given placement within the spirit of mankind, humanity cannot fully function as spirit, and it remains a living soul incapable of fulfilling God’s given assignment.

The natural man cannot reproduce without the help of the woman and the woman cannot reproduce without the help of the man. They remain ‘carnal’, having to depend on flesh and blood to function. The Adam of Genesis 1:28 was spirit, and like God, he was capable of multiplying and reproducing all by himself because male and female were functioning as one in the spirit of Adam. The Adam of Genesis 1:28 is Christ, and He reproduced after His kind, which is spirit. You and I have the same assignment today: reproduce Christ from within our spirit and fill the earth.

Tragically, many Christians who bring forth children today have no guarantee that their offspring will grow up to walk in the ways of the Lord. Many of these children end up being addicted to illegal drugs, alcohol or immoral life styles. We see the beginning of this process in Genesis 3:16 where God tells the woman, To the woman He said: “I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; In pain you shall bring forth children; Your desire shall be for your husband, And he shall rule over you.” (Genesis 3:16)

After Adam became a living soul like us today, he concluded that the only way he could reproduce himself was with the help of the woman, Eve, because she had the womb. So by sperm and egg, Adam and Eve brought forth Cain (Genesis 4:1) who became a murderer.

Progressively, we see great men of God bringing forth unrighteous children whose moral failures had grave consequences. The great prophet Samuel judged Israel all the days of his life. When he became old, he made his two sons Joel and Abijah judges over Israel (1 Samuel 8:1). However, these two sons did not fear God, turned aside after dishonest gain, took bribes, and perverted justice. So the elders of Israel rejected these two corrupt sons and asked Samuel to give them a king to rule over them. Israel which was called by God to become a nation of priests to the world with God as their King never fulfilled her divine destiny. Her failure was precipitated by the disobedience of two rebellious sons. How did God reproduce godly seed? James 1:18 states, Of his own will God begat us, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of the God kind of people. (James 1:18, my translation)

God established His own character and nature in all His children, having secured their end from the beginning. He is Spirit, which is both male and female functioning as one; and He reproduced Himself by the spirit and not by sperm and egg.

Finally, the woman’s sorrow is not limited to the birthing process. Many women are wounded and tormented by abusive husbands; and in many cases, the women remain married to their tormentors. Many churches even deny these women the right to leave such husbands.

The time from Adam until the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ is a time of spiritual awakening. God set mankind on a journey of discovery whereby He would restore their consciousness of their origination in God, that they may see their true identity as spirit and not as a living soul. The living soul is a figment of Adam’s imagination generated by the deception of the carnal mind that wants to usurp Christ’s rule in and through mankind by His spirit in man.

As long as mankind identifies with the living soul, he perceives that he is mortal, human and separated from God because of sin. But once man sees Christ as his beginning (Eph 2:10) and his reality as spirit, eternal and a genuine duplicate of the image of God, then the carnal mind, the living soul, death and separation from God cease to exist in man’s consciousness.

Because now he has put on Christ, having been baptized into his death and resurrection according to Galatians 3:27, For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

What does being baptized into Christ mean? Why is this consciousness of our spiritual identity and of the living soul so crucial, essential and vital? Because it is literally a matter of life and death. There are only two kinds of life: the first is the soulish life or the life in the flesh. The second is our spiritual or eternal life. And both lives are mutually exclusive: we can only live one life at a time. The bridge between the two lives is resurrection, or Christ Himself who said to Martha before raising Lazarus from the dead, Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:25-26)

Resurrection – the Greek anaestassis – means to bring to a former state. It means to bring back to life. What life was Jesus Christ speaking of at the tomb of Lazarus? Soulish life or eternal life? He was speaking of the zoe eternal life of God. Let me explain.

1. Soulish or mortal Life is the life that begins in the womb and ends in the tomb. It is the life that we measure by our years of survival and endurance in our physical bodies. It is a life that begins with conception and ends in physical death. Resurrection – or anastasis – means to bring to an earlier state of being. Most Christians think of resurrection as bringing someone from the state of physical death back into mortal life, a life that will    eventually end up in the grave. This is not the biblical concept of resurrection. This is not what Christ spoke of when He said I Am the Resurrection. Christ was speaking of a different kind of life, eternal life.

2. The life of God – zoe life – is life eternal. This is the life of God in us; it is the breath, the pneuma, the spirit of God in us. Literally, it is the Christ life in you; or simply the Christ who you are. When did this eternal life begin? It is eternal, with no beginning and no end. Indeed, our eternal life began in Christ according to Ephesians 1:4 when we were chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world. And our eternal life will transition back to Christ according to Ephesians 1:10 when we are all gathered back in Him.

Scripturally, resurrection is bringing us from death back into an earlier state of life and being, the eternal life that we had in Christ before the foundation of the world.

What does being baptized into Christ mean? It means that you identify with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection. You become spiritually conscious that you went to the cross with Him, died with Him and was resurrected from mortal, soulish life into His incorruptible, eternal, glorious, holy life as spirit and not as a mortal human being with a soulish life. This is how you put on Christ. Or in the words of Paul, I have been rucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. (Galatians 2:20)

Jesus did not die for you; you and I tasted of death with Him and were resurrected with Him that we may become Him, be joined to Him and become one and the same spirit with Him. That spirit is Christ. In the Garden of Eden we all became the woman who was deceived by the carnal mind to think she has been separated from God and can only exist as a living soul. That is when death gained rule over us. But in another garden, the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus Christ spoke these words; He uttered them for you and for me.

Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me.” (Matt 26:38)

Who is this exceedingly sorrowful soul? She is all of humanity. She is the woman of the Garden of Eden. She is sorrowful because she is about to taste of death with Him at His and our crucifixion. This is why He ate of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, that He may become one with us. That He may take us to death with Him, once and for all, because through Him, we overcome death and are resurrected into the Christ of our beginning. This is how we are awakened from Adamic amnesia into the consciousness of the spirit in us, which is both male and female functioning together.

God told Abram that He will be his shield and exceedingly great reward. Additionally, God promised Abram that He will give him the Promised Land, which speaks of our body. When Abram asked God for an assurance of His promise, God asked Abram to offer five animals before Him: a heifer, a she-goat and a ram, each three years old. Plus a turtle dove and a female pigeon. Except for the birds, Abram divided the animals in the middle laying each half against the other.

Immediately, vultures – which represent sickness and disease assaulting our body – tried to eat the carcasses; however, Abram drove away these birds of prey. On a more conceptual level, these vultures take us back to the very origin of evil, to sin and death and the carnal mind. These vultures represent the evil imagination that the carnal mind has created and by which it gains control over the body. Let me explain. Vultures or birds of prey feed on death or dead carcasses. The carnal mind is perpetuated through the law of sin and death, man’s body being its primary and prized victim.

Did God create evil? No and a thousand times no. Jesus declared in Matt 15:19, “For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.”

Figuratively, the heart is the ruling center of our thinking, emotions and identity. If the spirit of Christ does not fully rule and reign the heart, then the government of man is usurped by a thief called the carnal mind who operates through the soul, enforcing the singular law of sin and death. The carnal mind blinds us to our identity as spirit and enslaves us through the deception that we are a living soul, mere mortal human beings rather than Elohim, created in Christ as spirit over whom mortality has no dominion.

Evil originated and entered the universe and ruled nature when the soul replaced the mind of Christ as the seat of government in mankind. Even the capacity for evil was not created by God. The capacity for evil was imparted by Adam to the animals when God asked Adam to name these animals. The animals represent the emotions of the soul. Adam had a God-given wisdom and creativity which came through the breath of “Jehovah Elohim” in Gen 2:7. This wisdom and creativity was the bedrock from which the capacity for evil would spring.

When did this happen? It happened when the soul became king, ruler and ultimately god, or a substitute for the true God in mankind. When left to its own devices – without input from the spirit – the soul under the rule of the carnal mind has limitless creative ability through the faculty of imagination. The substance of its imagery and imagination is the knowledge of good and evil, the very fruit and mindset that Eve ate. The capacity to think good and evil was not in a tree external to Eve; that capacity was within in her own mind and creative imagination outside the rule of the mind of the spirit.

So the soul can imagine – and birth – both good and evil. The soul can take what it believes is good and raise it up to its highest imagined potential and ascribe deity to it. Yes, the soul imagines and creates god (or gods) after its own imagination. Why? Because the soul faintly remembers that all that Elohim God created was good; and the carnal mind – her own mind – deceived the woman to falsely believe that the fruit of the tree of knowledge was good, pleasant and full of wisdom (Gen 3:6). All of these are attributes of what God created. This is the root of all false religions that imagines a god of benevolence and kindness.

And inversely, the soul gathers all that it perceives to be evil, and ascribes to it an imaginary government with a federal head that it calls Satan or the devil. This evil ruler opposes mankind through fictitious beings called demons or spirits. Ephesians 4:4-6 states that there is only one Spirit in the universe, one Lord, and One God who is Father of all, above all and in you all.

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism. One God and Father of all, who [is] above all, and through all, and in you all.

If that is the truth, then how do we explain the manifestations of the power of evil in the earth, such as voodoo, witchcraft, levitation and the like? The answer is profound and simple: it springs from the power of the soul of man. Over generations and centuries, certain cultures have created, developed and systemized a body of beliefs, religious rituals and practices, and have ascribed an evil spiritual origin to its power. This was all done through the faculty of imagination which begins and ends in the soul of man. Satan exists in your imagination if you believe he does; demons have as much power over you as you imagine they do.

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them,”Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” (Gen 1:26-28)

We often read the Bible and fail to see revelation that is staring us in the face. Gen 1:26-28…

1) Clearly outlines how God’s government and kingdom operate through the repetition of the term image (three times), dominion (twice), and

2) Spells out what God’s image is like: male and female.

God delegated His authority and imparted the authority and power of His dominion to the man He created in Gen 1:27, who is the Lord Jesus Christ. This spirit man – the Christ of our origination – exercises dominion over cattle, fish, fowl and over all the earth as long as He is in the image of God, encompassing both male and female in unity in His spirit. God formed all the beasts of the field and all the fowls of the air – including vultures – from the ground. He did not breathe His eternal life and breath into them; only Adam received the breath of God, which is the mind, creativity, Spirit, wisdom, glory and nature of “Jehovah Elohim”, who is the Lord Jesus Christ. The formed man of Gen 2:7 is now spirit male and female functioning in unity – existing in a body.

With His breath, “Jehovah Elohim” imparted to the man formed from the dust the same dominion that He had received from the Father, from Elohim, in Gen 1:26-28. As long as formed man conforms to the image and likeness of God, operating with the identity of spirit -which is having both male and female aspects functioning in unison within his being – this formed man has both the power and the authority to exercise the dominion of Elohim over the earth and over all creation and all animals.

The Lord God brought the animals to Adam to name them, or to bestow a specific nature, character and capacity to each animal. It was Adam who spoke and endowed each animal with its potential: the potential to be a lamb who never resists or a lion who would devour. The potential for good or for evil.

As long as Adam had full access to the mind of Christ, peace ruled in Eden. There was no sin, no death and no evil. This was not only as Adam was concerned; life and peace ruled the universe, nature and creation down to the smallest animal and mightiest bird. No beast devoured another and no vulture ate prey, because the carnal mind was held in check by Adam’s access to the mind of Christ.

Adam fully exercised the dominion of Gen 1:26-28 while he was spirit and lived in a body. Once Adam lost fellowship with God, became amnesiac of his identity as spirit made in the image of God, and once he believed the allegory of Gen 2:21-22 and saw the female aspect of his spirit outside of him; once the casting down (katabola, Grk 2602) took place and mankind fell spiritually from the foundation of the world; once all that happened, mankind lost the authority and power to exercise Elohim’s dominion over all creation. This is why all creation groans, waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God, who identify themselves with the Christ of their origination and see themselves in the image and likeness of God, both male and female in one spirit.

For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. (Rom 8:19-23)

When God’s kingdom is fully manifested and He has restored all things, then we will have a new heaven (heaven is that which is above, hence a new mind, a new base of government) and a new earth (body). The soul is dethroned and evil is terminated. The lion will eat straw and not devour the ox and the lamb would never be the prey of the wolf.

“For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind. The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, The lion shall eat straw like the ox, And dust shall be the serpent’s food. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain,” Says the Lord. (Isaiah 65: 17, 25)

In Revelation chapter 4, the throne of God is revealed. In the midst of the throne stood four living creatures who “do not rest day or night, saying: “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!” (Rev 4:8). These four creatures had the face of a man and the face of three animals who in nature would devour one another and not exist in harmony and peace.

Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back. The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle. (Rev 4:6-7)

This speaks volumes beyond the restoration of nature and the universe under the righteous rule of God. The ox (sacrifice) and the eagle (upward ascension into spiritual consciousness), and the lion (authority and power) were all named, empowered and natured by Adam’s creative ability.

Now that Christ – the spirit – has dominion in and through man again, every creation of Adam’s soul – both good and evil is placed in subjection to the One who sits upon the throne. It is now entirely a realm of spirit where man rules with and as Christ, and where the living soul and the carnal mind that conceived it are consumed by the breath and the fire of God, the same fire that passed between the animal carcasses that Abram laid down. May the Lord help us to receive this revelation and see it fully manifested in our hearts and lives, so that His glorious Kingdom is fully manifest throughout the world.

The account of the creation of man is very brief and is contained in just one verse in the Bible, And God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.” Gen 1:26. In that one verse God determined what this creature he called MAN would be, using himself as the model, “In the image of God,” and then proceeded to declare his dominion over all that he had created in Gen 1.

The purpose of this study is to explore God’s purpose regarding the generation of mankind on the earth. This is important for God only brought forth ONE MAN in Gen 1:26 but we understand his will and purpose was for mankind to fill the earth. In this beginning of man on the earth we are confronted with certain facts that form a foundation upon which we can build our understanding of the process. First of all the plurality of the statement, “Let us make man,” raises a question as to who does the “US” refer to. Religion rushes forward to assert that this refers to the so called concept of the “TRINITY’ of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. However, the scriptures state, Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:”

We need to be reminded that in creation everything came out of God for there was no other source from which anything could come. All of mankind was already resident in God as spirit, and Christ also came from the same source. So in a true sense the being of God contained everything and everyone that has ever been born, all of which were actually a part of himself. So when God spoke, it became the expression of all that God is. In this sense God and creation are ONE, just as God and MAN also constitute the “ONE.” Acts 17:26 & 28.

The concept of spirit and spirituality remains largely a mystery to man of the earth today. Even though we are essentially a “Spirit creature” having come out of God, our physical body and environment seem to deny any sense of the world of spirit. Our consciousness is regulated by our five natural senses emanating from the natural or carnal mind, and so we have nothing in our natural life that connects with the Life of spirit. Therefore, for most people the spiritual aspect of life has no specific way of entering our consciousness.

The history of Israel, whose origin was by way of a spiritual birthing through a 90 year old barren woman, is an example of mankind’s lack of both understanding and function of spirituality. The Truth is that the source of LIFE is not to be found in this physical, material world, but only in the invisible world of spirit. Science has tried for many years to produce LIFE in a test tube. To this day no one has succeeded because it is a Proven Principle that it is only Life that can generate Life. This is because the Source or PRINCIPLE OF LIFE is found only in the realm of Spirit, and expressly in God.

IF Israel had been a spiritual people they would have accepted the 10 commandments, in the spirit in which God gave it to them. But not being spiritual they could only receive them as a L-A-W. Now a law is something that you must obey and to make sure that people obey the law there is always a penalty for breaking a law. It is the thought of what the penalty will cost us that becomes the driving force in compliance to the Law. None of which has anything to do with spirituality. But not even the penalty caused Israel to be obedient to the law of God. The 10 Commandments given to Israel was actually a manifesto of the character of God, which if they had used as a pattern for their own life, would have made them a Holy people.

If we understand spirituality we will know that obedience is a part of spirit life. This is why God said to Israel, “Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine.” (Exodus 19:5)

The difference is that obedience has nothing to do with Law. Let us consider a family situation where the father or mother says to the children. I want you to keep your bedrooms neat and tidy and you will make me very happy. If those children have been brought up in a spiritual family where God is honored and love reigns the children will do exactly as they were told, and will be happy to do it.

However if that family is like the typical household, it would not be long before the parents will have to say to the children you have not done what you were told to do, so now this is the way it will be, “If you do not do what you are told, you will not receive any pocket money for the week, and you forfeit your T.V time also for the week. What has happened here? It was a reasonable expectation on the part of the parents for the children to be obedient, but obedience based upon love has not been forthcoming. So what is the next step in seeking compliance from the children? The next stage is to make the request for obedience to become a L-A-W. This law demands there be a JUDGE, and also that there will be a penalty to pay.

In this simple illustration we see two things. One is that spirituality has been lost from family life even for many Christians and with it the true sense of obedience. For many Christians they come to God with a sense of pride telling him they are really seeking to do what the Bible says, I refuse to go to the places where people gamble, and I will not touch alcohol and never break my marriage vows. So many think that is obedience, when in fact it has little or nothing to do with obedience but has a lot to do with a law, which they believe is the basis of obedience. Under this law, if you have failed to repent God will punish you, and send you to a place called Hell forever.

I remember a preacher whose mother rebuked her son for disobedience telling us, that she made him stand in the corner for what seemed to him a long time. But she would call out at intervals from where ever she happened to be in the house, “Are you standing in the corner?” And this time the boy replied, “I am standing up on the outside, but I am sitting down on the inside.” I suspect the boys honesty cost him more than he bargained for.

We are a spirit being because our origin is out of God. Our Body has no life in itself but it is the spirit, which is Christ in us that is the source of our life. That spirit is one with God, functioning on the same wave-length. Therefore whatever God says, the spirit in us receives being One with God and that spirit would respond without question. If the spirit is LORD in us, then we will be obedient to all that God says. However, it is obvious that in many Christians, Jesus Christ is not LORD but there is some other authority in control who decides what we do or not to do. This function cannot be confused with obedience.

That authority is the one we birth in our consciousness, based upon our physical birth and obedience to a mother and father, whose name (Nature) is given to us by them. This one does not automatically hear the voice of God, for it functions on a different frequency. This person in known to us as “SELF” but is unknown to God, having a different origin and owes allegiance to another authority called the Carnal Mind. Obedience to God is impossible under this alien authority, for it has no direct connection with God but is dependent upon its own intellect to know by reading and study of the Bible, what God requires. True obedience to God is not possible under these circumstances.

Adam had a Love relationship with God that was passed on to all mankind based upon OBEDIENCE. There was no LAW governing Adam’s life in the Garden of Eden, but a relationship with God based upon Love. For Love to function it must flow unhindered both from the one expressing Love to the object of that love, and from the one who is loved, back to the source of that love. While the flow is unhindered the relationship of Love creates a unity beyond any human agreement. God told Israel, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.”

But we are told that Eve, who was not a part of the creative process of God, but was now accepted as a wife by Adam, begins to express herself making her own decisions under the direction of a serpent and not under God as Adam had done, since he was put in the Garden. He did not need to be able to make any decisions for there was nothing he needed, for his every need had been supplied by God in the Garden.

However, Eve considered the one issue that God has raised regarding the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, of which they were not to eat, because that fruit carried the seed of a knowledge that would destroy their relationship. In keeping with our natural or Carnal mind, man has considered this to be a L-A-W having no understanding of the relationship Adam had with God. If it was a LAW then it could not be the basis of a Love Relationship at all, but a legally binding demand on the part of God for Adam to keep with a penalty attached for disobedience

The Knowledge of good and evil was not a part of the knowledge God made available to Adam, because it was not connected to TRUTH, and God never created it. The Bible declared through the Apostle John and others that GOD IS L-O-V-E, and not just loving. That being so, how could he be both GOOD and also EVIL?

Mankind solves the issue by declaring that God is LOVE but he is also JUST, which infers that to be “Just,” one has to stop loving and this means that God must cease to be God. In other words man credits God with having human emotions making his responses the same as that of a carnal man. So it becomes plain that if God is both good and evil then he is nothing more than mankind on the earth.

The word to “Know” in the Bible is translated from the Greek word “Ginosko” which means, to become known, to have knowledge of and understanding. But it also refers to the knowledge that a man has of his wife. This knowledge is actually spiritual but for many remains only a natural physical knowledge. In a court of law if a man has obtained that knowledge of a woman illegally, it is called, “CARNAL KNOWLEDGE.” In the Old Testament, it is the Heb word “YADA’ and has exactly the same meaning. The Apostle Paul made the Statement in Phil 3:10, “That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.”

Many Christians would say they know God because they read the Bible and go to Church etc. But the word “To Know” must go far beyond intellectual knowledge as revealed in the word Paul used to determine the type of knowledge that he is speaking about. For a man to know his wife requires a most intimate relationship, which is designed to entwine the spirit which in man is male and female to function as ONE, bringing together the two aspects of spirit into union.

Unfortunately today this relationship has been dragged down to the “Animal Level,” in which the desire is not to unify but simply to produce the greatest pleasure in order to gratify their lust. Many books have been written on this subject suggesting ways to increase the pleasure and the amount of satisfaction through this intimacy.

In this question of “Knowing God” concerning God and man, to think of a relationship with such intimacy would never be considered. Such thoughts as we have in the physical world would seem to have absolutely no application to the spiritual relationship a man can have with God. Even just to think about being intimate with God seems horrendous in the extreme. Then why does the Apostle Paul use such a term in expressing the focus of all his desires, is to KNOW GOD to the same degree as a man can know his wife in this natural realm. The answer is BECAUSE THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO KNOW GOD. We need to go back to Matt 19:3….

The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, “Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made (them) at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.”

They say unto him, “Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away? He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.”

Verse 4 tells us that God made the man in the beginning Male and Female as the first man was spirit and spirit is male and female functioning as one. God is spirit and the man was also spirit for the man was made in the likeness and the image of God so he had to be whatever God is. So the scriptures tell us that, “FOR THIS CAUSE,” which refers to the separation of the Female from the Male in Adam, in Gen 2:21-22 causing the female part of spirit to become a separate entity, and capable of functioning alone without Adam. Now the Bible says, “For this cause shall a man leave his mother and his father and will cleave unto his wife in an attempt to make the man complete again as male and female. But the best that can result from this union is that the two become ONE FLESH.

This is not how Adam was created in the beginning for there was no mention of F-L-E-S-h in the beginning. He was SPIRIT with the Male and the Female functioning together as ONE SPIRIT and no mention of Flesh. It becomes obvious that man’s concept of marriage does not in any way restore what God gave to man in the beginning. Therefore the whole question of reproduction no longer functions as a spiritual reality but simply as a physical experience whereby neither the Male nor the Female can now reproduce alone, but only as the two become ONE FLESH.

The word Flesh appears first in Gen 2:21. Genesis 2:21-22 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

The Hebrew word for “Flesh” is “Basar” pronounced {baw-sawr’} and refers to the body of Man as well as the animals, also used as a (euphemism) for the male organ of generation. Neither the man or the woman are now the same as they were created in the beginning. What God created as ONE in the likeness and the image of God now has become a duality with the two now being able to function individually and independently of each other. No longer is the man in the likeness and the image of God. No longer is the man “Spirit” but is now characterized as F-L-E-S-H.

This “Flesh” now sets the man apart from his original condition at creation. Man has experienced a tremendous change that links his body with that of the animals from a natural point of view. This means that man’s body can no longer be considered to be the dwelling place of God, for God has never considered the animal body to be his dwelling place. Most Christians have never considered these things or what is required in order to restore man to his original place in God.

Religion has taught that if a man will give his heart to Jesus, and confess his sin and believe that Christ died on the cross for his sin, then he is “saved” and born again and will go to heaven when he dies. It becomes obvious that such a teaching has nothing to do with the restoration of the soul. There has to be much more to the restoration of the soul than simply changing our mind about a few things.

To go back to the beginning we find God surveying all that he had created and this is what the scriptures declare, “And God saw everything that he had made, and behold it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.” Genesis 1:31. There is no mention of evil of any kind present in God’s creation. It literally does not exist. Of course that statement raises a chorus of voices declaring what about this and what about that, without knowing that this world we see with our natural eyes is not God’s world. All we can see Paul tells us is passing away for it is not eternal.

The true realities of life are all in the spiritual world, which is invisible to natural man. 2 Cor 4:18. There was no evil in the Garden of Eden nor was there any sickness, pain or death. The tree God spoke about to Adam warning him not to eat the fruit of that tree was not a literal tree, any more than the tree of LIFE was literal, yet so often I hear Christians speaking of Adam eating the forbidden apple. That tree represented a KNOWLEDGE SYSTEM that would contradict the truth that Adam knew about God. This other “knowledge” challenged the truth concerning the true character of God and is the reason why God is presented by the religious world as a monster who kills his disobedient children in a fiery hell.

For Adam, God is LOVE and that was the TRUTH with nothing that could challenge or add to that knowledge. There was no sense in which one could say, “YES God is love, but he is also JUST, as if that would challenge the truth about the love of God. God does not have to stop loving in order to be just. GOD IS LOVE so there is nothing in the character of God but love and Grace. We use the term UNCONDITIONAL LOVE when we speak of God’s Love.

However, human love has very real limitations when expressed by mankind. A man my say he loves his wife but if she lies to him about anything he feels justified in resenting her and retaliating. Parents may love their children, but also can be very cruel to them if they are disobedient. Human Love has very definite limitations and can change from Love to hate and even murder in some cases. This indicates the great difference there is between God’s love and human love.

For God so loved the WORLD that he GAVE his only begotten Son, whosoever receives him as the reality of who they ARE, and believes into the reality of his and our death, burial and resurrection, shall have everlasting life in which there is no condemnation, and there is no death. Think about that statement for a moment, God loves everybody in the whole world. Generally speaking not even the Church believes that GOD LOVES EVERYBODY.

Christians say no, that could not be true because that would mean that the bad people are loved equally by God with the good. In our society today it sounds like the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil has infected all of mankind. The only satisfying answer to the true expression of God’s love is that it is based upon LIFE IN THE SPIRIT and not on human, moral or mortal life.

Spiritual Love, has a very different basis on which it is founded. Once we believe in good and evil we are excluded from spirituality, for in the spirit world there is no good and evil. In the world of spirit there is no sickness, pain, suffering, or death and there is no poverty or lack of any kind for everyone who is part of the spirit world is in the image and the likeness of God. ALL have the same abilities, wisdom and knowledge of God, and having dominion over all the works of God’s hands. God watches over his kingdom with every citizen being considered equal regardless of what country they may come from or their language or skin color we are just ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY.

But you may ask where is this Kingdom of God today, and I will tell you which Jesus said, “The Kingdom of God is IN YOU.” This means that it begins in the HEART OF MAN, with the King Jesus Christ ruling and reigning, and will expand across the world until every man has been included.

Eve rationalized the prohibition concerning the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, deciding that she would not die if she ate the fruit of that tree, but instead there would be a great benefit for her in that her eyes would be opened to see much more that she has seen before. Not having been connected to the source of Life in God she believed that there was much more to be had, than what had been made available in the Garden for Adam. So she ate the fruit of that tree, and her eyes were opened to see another world which Adam had never seen and had no desire to see, for he was satisfied in Love.

Many want to argue about the restriction put upon Adam regarding the tree of knowledge, seeing it only as a L-A-W. But instead it was a Father speaking to his son, telling him, Son I do not want you to touch that tree, because I know what the consequences of your doing so, will be. We will no longer enjoy this love relationship we now have because YOU will have to break our love relationship to accommodate the knowledge you will receive from the fruit of that tree.

The trees represent our thoughts which are like the fruit of the tree that can reproduce itself. For you cannot see me as the author of both Good and Evil and truly Love me. I do not want you to be separated from me which will cause you much pain, and I will suffer also. Beloved understand that the result of eating the fruit of that tree, did not cause GOD to instigating some retribution on Adam, as it would have been if it had been a Law, but it was a natural consequence of Adam’s own actions.

In the discussion Eve had with the serpent, which played the part of the NATURAL MIND of Eve, she finally developed the idea that she had a mind capable of thinking and making decisions, not knowing the TRUTH which can only be known by the spirit. Eve had become a LIVING SOUL which was now a separate entity from Adam who is spirit, so she has no input from the spirit, functioning out of her SOUL LIFE. Now she is eager to share her newfound knowledge she has gained from eating the fruit of the tree, with Adam so she gives him also of the same fruit.

Many Christians have never understood what took place at that time and so the ignorance of the carnal mind has been the reason for many false concepts of truth. For instance religion has called this action of Adam as the ORIGINAL SIN by which all mankind was brought under the sentence of death, and condemned to an eternal judgment by God. This presents God to mankind as a Monster who has decided that unless mankind repents and fulfills certain religious obligations they will be subject to an eternal hell fire forever. This abominable doctrine does not come from God as Truth but from the serpent deceived minds of men who have never heard the voice of God.

The truth is that when Eve gave the fruit to Adam, he was able to make a considered decision because he never spoke to the Serpent and was not deceived. He was spirit and as such could not be affected by the serpent. As the Christ he understood the situation that was before him, and knew that Eve had eaten the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and therefore she was subject to death. However death from God’s viewpoint is totally different from what we understand today by the natural mind. Death for us mortal people involves the cessation of life and the body being buried in the ground. But death from God’s viewpoint is a broken relationship with God, and has nothing to do with the cemetery.

Life begins in God and is of such a character that it must always be connected to its source. As a fetus in the mother’s womb is connected to the mother by the umbilical cord, and if that connection is broken before the fetus is ready to be birthed, it will die. So it is for us today, if the flow of life which we received from God in creation is broken, DEATH occurs. But this death does not involve the cemetery, but simply we are DEAD TO GOD as the flow of his life which is eternal has been broken from our side of the relationship and so we become MORTAL and our LIFE IS IN OUR BLOOD. The Bible refers to this life as MORTAL LIFE. What Came direct from God to the man is ETERNAL LIFE as in Gen 1:26 and 2:7.

When the Lord God brought forth a manifestation of himself according to Gen 2:7 the Bible says he formed a body from the dust of the earth, remembering that everything including the dust came out of God in creation. Then when the form was complete it says he put that same life he had received from God in Gen 1:26 into the man with the body, not by a blood transfusion but by BREATHING into the nostrils of the man with the body. Man is the only creature that God breathe his life into, not into a dog or a cat only into the M-A-N.

We must also understand that the Greek word “PNEUMA” means Spirit, Wind and breath. We also have the same meaning in the Hebrew language, as the word “RUWACH” means wind, breath, mind and spirit. Ezekiel 37:9 “Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.” It is interesting that Jesus Christ breathed on the disciples before he returned to the Father, John 20:21 “Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:”

Apart from us receiving the breath of God we will only have mortal life which is subject to every disease and sickness and subject to death also. There is only one spirit, which is male and female functioning together as one. Reproduction from God’s point of view is spiritual and has nothing to do with anything physical. In Genesis 1:27 Scripture declares, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him male and female created he them.

The Image of God is SPIRIT which is “Male and Female functioning together as one.” Keeping this in mind we discover in verse 28 that God gives the MAN an assignment. Genesis 1:28 “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”

Many Christians read this verse considering that this command was given to Adam and Eve, but I assure you that Adam was SPRIT and there was no EVE as a separate entity at that time, for ADAM WAS SPIRIT. In the account of the creation of man in Gen 1:26, there is no mention of God having created a woman as a separate entity from Adam. God never recognized Eve as a separate entity from Adam, but in Gen 5:2 it states that GOD CALLED THEM ADAM.

He only created his SON who is Spirit which is MALE and FEMALE, functioning together as ONE. This is so important for us to understand, for TRUTH is either established or lost right here in Gen 1:28’

This assignment given to Adam is of vital importance for everyone today, to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. This command was originally given to the MAN created in Gen 1:26 as a direct command, but the majority of Christians have never considered that this requirement applies to every MAN on the earth. Remember that God only created ONE MAN and that man was Christ Jesus. Eph 2:10 tells us, “We are God’s workmanship (concerning our Body formed in our mother’s womb) but WE, our true being as spirit was CREATED IN CHRIST JESUS.” Every other man on this earth has come out of Christ Jesus the first man God created.

God’s covenant made with Abraham depended upon him producing the Covenant Son who is the sole heir to all the promises of God given to Abraham and through him to us today. The promise was to Abraham and to your SEED, which is CHRIST. The continuation of the covenant promises depends upon Abraham producing the DIVINE SEED which is CHRIST.

James 1:18, “Of his own will begat he us with the Word of Truth, that we should be a kind of first-fruits of his (God’s) creatures.” We are told that the purpose of our being brought forth as the offspring of God, is that we might be the true expression of the “Seed of God,” from which we are to birth the generations that are yet to come, as we bring forth the Christ in us. This is vital if Jesus Christ the King is to rule and reign over the Kingdom of God on this earth. The continuity of the Covenant made with Abraham, is dependent upon the “Seed of God” being birthed through his people. It was to Abraham and HIS SEED that the promises were made, and Paul declared that HIS SEED IS CHRIST. Gal 3:16.

For that to be the truth, there must be a “Spiritual Birthing” as Paul declares in Galatians 4:19 “My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you.” Only then can we say with the Apostle Paul. “I am crucified with Christ nevertheless I LIVE, but it is no longer the “I” that lives but CHRIST THAT LIVES IN ME.” This is the man God created in the beginning, and who is now the dwelling place of God giving Christ visibility on this earth.. He is the one to whom God gave the assignment to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.

The first man Christ Jesus now fulfills his responsibility, in Gen 2:7. “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” In this simple statement he fulfills his obligation to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. He simply brought forth a manifestation of “himself” as spirit and formed a body suitable for the man to live and function on the earth according to God’s will and purpose. It is important to understand the when it came to giving that man LIFE, it was not transmitted by a “Blood Transfusion,” but by breathing into his nostrils the same breath of Life he had received from God. This man with a body is now ready to be put into the Garden of Eden especially prepared for him.

The first man Christ Jesus out of whom all of mankind has come, is dependent upon this Man Adam in the Garden to reproduce in order to fulfill his assignment to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. How wonderful is the fact that the one out of which all of God’s children are to be birthed dwells in that MAN, for he is spirit and that spirit is the “SEED OF GOD” which is Christ. For the earth to be filled with the offspring of God the man has been so created that he has the capacity to reproduce out of himself, being spirit which is Male and Female functioning together as ONE. The purposes of God must be fulfilled through the man as God has not made any other provision to fulfill his will.

In Creation God never produced any more offspring other than that first man, of Gen 1:26, except that we know that IN THAT ONE MAN is all of mankind that have been born, or will be born on this earth. Eph 2:10. Now he has fulfilled his assignment by bringing forth a manifestation of himself in the likeness and image of God. Now Adam is the “Off spring of God” and becomes responsible to do the same and bring forth a manifestation of his true identity as Christ. If he fails to do this then there is a disruption in the plan and purpose of God, for God has NO PLAN “B.” God would then have to search for another who will birth the Christ in obedience to his will and purpose, and continue the divine “Seed.”

Paul declared in Acts 17:26, “God hath made of O-N-E (Source and ONE Beginning) all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation.” The “SEED” of all mankind originates IN GOD uniting all of mankind in a divine family relationship, with no division caused by Borders, Language, Culture or Color. The true seed of God is in every man, but for many it has been dormant having never been activated to produce the CHRIST.

Before we can proceed in understanding the Process of Reproduction we must examine the next stage in Adam’s development.

The Garden of Eden was quarantined from the rest of the earth where Adam could live and function as the companion of God. Each day Adam would hear the voice of the Lord God and he would be there to enjoy fellowship and oneness with him. God and Adam were O-N-E sharing together the same spirit, the same purpose and desires, and the same life. It is not known for how long this peace and tranquility lasted but the time came when the Lord God stepped in and said, “It is not good for the Man to be alone, I will make a “Help Meet” for him.”

The Hebrew word used here comes from a root meaning, “To prove, or to test thoroughly.” So this change was designed as a test to prove Adam’s faithfulness to God. In Gen 2:21-22, that the Lord God caused a deep sleep (A Trance) to come upon Adam and he slept. This indicates that he has no personal involvement in what is taking place while he is asleep. The Bible declares that a “Rib” was removed which included the Female part of the spirit in Adam. The Hebrew word for “Rib” is “tsela” which has reference to the side chambers in the wall of the Temple. However, we know that the result was the removal of the Female part of the spirit in Adam, which now became a separate entity to Adam.

This change was to allow Adam to make a choice, for he could decide to join himself to the woman, or remain true to his spiritual identity and remain in fellowship with God. Remember his assignment is to be fruitful, multiply and fill the earth. It would seem that the sight of this “Woman,” the like of which he had never seen before, did not even raise a question in his mind. God only created the Man who is spirit and the Female was an integral part of his spirit being, but is now walking beside him. No mention is made of where her life came from as with Adam and she functioned independently of Adam altogether.

The scriptures declare, “The ways of God are past finding out, or are unchartable.” Isaiah the Prophet said, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:7-8. The tests of life are not there for God to discover if we will be faithful to him or not, for that is already known to God, but to reveal to us what is our true reality.

Every need of the man was supplied and there was no lack, for the Garden of Eden was designed specifically for him. He was instructed that he could eat the fruit of every tree in the Garden with the exception of the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the midst of the Garden. The fruit of that tree he was not to eat, for in the day that you eat of it you will surely die. A river also had its source in the Garden flowing out to water the rest of the earth outside the Garden. This represented the flow of life from God himself sufficient for all mankind. It was Adam’s responsibility to “Dress the Garden and to Keep it.” This involved taking care of the Garden and to guard it from anything that would seek to upset its peace and tranquility.

What took place in producing the woman was done with Adam under a deep sleep having no consciousness of what now has taken place. This is important to know as Adam had no part at all in this whole process for he is asleep. This indicates to me that this whole episode of removing the woman from within Adam and making her a separate entity from Adam is purely an allegory. There are two reasons why I believe this to be true. One is that Spirit cannot be divided, because spirit has no GENDER, which means that there is no such thing as a MALE spirit nor is there a FEMALE spirit. There is only spirit which is male and female functioning together as one.

The second reason is that GOD IS SPIRIT and you cannot divide God. Deuteronomy 6:4 “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is ONE LORD.” Throughout the Old Testament God is referred to as THE “HOLY O-N-E.” This means that the removing of the female aspect of spirit from Adam is an “Allegory” and not literal. To consider that the woman is a part of the creation process of God cannot be substantiated from the Scriptures. Finally the Apostle Paul concluded his consummation of the Church in Galatians 3:27-29 “For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all O-N-E in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

It appears that Adam considered the presence of the woman beside him instead of IN HIM, quite normal. So it was not questioned, indicating that he was still in that state of deep sleep whereby his spiritual consciousness had not been restored. The reason for the allegory would seem to be so that we would be fully aware of how the SOUL in man functions. In the wisdom of God he had decreed that man would be brought into an experience of separation from God, in order to see if he would voluntarily choose to establish a love relationship that required obedience to God.

The woman immediately leaves Adam and declares her independence from him charting her own course and making her own decisions. She meets a serpent who found her “Natural Mind” easy to influence, causing her to ignore what God had said about not eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The serpent convinced her that she would not die if she ate the fruit of that tree, so without any reference to Adam she picks the fruit and eats it. Her eyes were indeed opened and she takes the fruit to Adam asking him to share it with her.

Adam was not deceived by the serpent having never spoken to it, so he had a choice. He could let Eve face whatever would be the consequences for her disobedience but Adam must have known that this woman was an integral part of his own being so that he did not have a choice but to join her as they were one. He shared the fruit of the tree with her but not in disobedience as the woman had done, but knowing they were connected in creation.

That day Adam did not respond to the voice of God as he had previously done, but he hid himself behind the trees. The first words God speaks is a question to Adam. “Adam where are you.” Gen 3:9. The literal answer was already known to God, but the question was to cause Adam to know W-H-Y he was hiding and not out there walking with God. There was no accusation in this question, and the word “SIN” is not mentioned.

Adam’s answer was, “I heard your voice in the Garden and I was afraid because I was naked, and I hid myself. God replied with another question, “Who told you that you were naked, have you eaten of the tree whereof I commanded you not to eat? And Adam replied, “The woman you gave me to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.” And the Lord God says to the woman, “What is this that you have done?” And the woman replied, “The serpent beguiled me and I did eat.”

Again notice God’s reply to the Serpent that represents the carnal mind that controls the Living Soul, “Because you have done this you are cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life.” The “Dust” that the serpent would eat is the flesh (body made from the dust) causing the disease, sickness and the mortality in man. The word “Serpent,” comes from a word that means, to practice divination, divine, observe signs.” Paul says, “But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

Religion declares that this is the ORIGINAL SIN, which results in all mankind now being guilty before God and is subject to eternal judgment. This is not supported by God’s response to Adam for the word “Sin” is not used at all. However it is interesting that the Lord God said to the woman,

“I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; in sorrow you will bring forth children, and your desire shall be to your husband and he shall rule over you.” How many Christian parents sit up at night not knowing what their children are doing, or if they are on drugs, or waiting for that dreaded knock on the door and hearing a policeman saying, “I am so sorry but your son or daughter has just been killed.”

Now we must pause to declare that “The Garden of Eden,” is not a literal garden, and Adam’s experience there must also be seen as SPIRITUAL for this man is in the IMAGE OF GOD which is SPIRIT. Everything concerning Adam that takes place in this Garden is also to be understood as Spiritual. It is important for us to acknowledge this before we consider the events recorded concerning Adam in the Garden.

There are two ways of understanding the events in the Garden of Eden, One is to see them as a Test of Adam’s obedience, or it is God setting the stage for man’s entry into life on planet earth, according to a complete and well thought out plan. In the process of which he finally subdues the earth, and brings it under the Authority and Control of the MAN who was given dominion over all the works of his hands.

I am of the opinion that the latter constitutes the format for what took place in this Garden of Eden. Therefore we must bear in mind that God has no intention of changing what Adam was, as he came from the hand of the creator. He was spirit, which is Male and Female functioning together as ONE in the beginning, and he is still spirit even after he left the Garden of Eden, but Adam was made responsible for his thoughts and his actions just as we are today.

Before we bring this book to a close let me remind you that you were created Spirit in the beginning and you are still spirit today and that spirit is male and female functioning together as one. But we have to face the fact that when we see a woman we have to make up our mind what we consider her to be. If we see her simply as a woman we declare that what happened in the Garden of Eden was literal and God actually created a woman as well as a man. But we know that this is not so, therefore the woman we can see with our natural eyes, can only be a manifestation of the woman that is part of the spirit in man.

This changes our whole concept of marriage, for the wife walking on the outside of me is simply a manifestation of the woman that was created within me as spirit, which is male and female functioning together as one. Spirit is what characterizes the MAN who is in the image and likeness of God, who also is male and female and is able to reproduce out of himself.

If we fail to see our wife as being an inseparable part of our true spirit identity, it indicates that we have forgotten who or what we are as spirit. But the real issue here is that we are required to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth with the God kind of people. The required process is for us to Bring forth the Christ as the reality of our true identity. Paul acknowledged this is Gal 4:19 as he speaks about “Travailing again until Christ is formed in you.”

Remember that Christ is the Covenant Son who is heir to all the promises given to us through Abraham. He is to inherit everything, so when we birth that Christ we become joint heirs (Equal Parts) with him to possess the promised land representing our body, bringing it under the authority of the Christ and sickness and suffering and death can no longer touch us for HE IS LORD. Because we have not understood this, the promises that were given to Abraham and TO HIS SEED, we cannot access, because we have not brought forth the Christ.

If we look upon a woman today and believe that she is a part of God’s creation, then we are walking in the same dream world that Adam found himself in when he saw the woman standing out there. He saw here as bone of his bones and flesh of his flesh, and called her woman because she was taken out of him.

This is an allegory and not literal, because no where do we find God creating a MAN AND A WOMAN., only a MAN who is spirit the same as GOD. God is not a MAN and a WOMAN, God is spirit and that spirit is male and female functioning together as ONE, therefore God could begat us OF HIS OWN WILL without any help from a woman. James 1:18. Because we have not understood spirit or spirituality these things seem very strange to us. However I am going to share with you the truth.

In Gen 18:9 The heavenly messenger asked Abraham a question, “Where is your wife?” He replied she is IN THE TENT. Paul refers to our body as a Tabernacle or Tent. 2Cor 5:1. If this was what Abraham was referring to then he was right. But I do not think Abraham understood the truth of spirit being male and female together because Sarah laughed when she heard what the visitor said. “I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son.”

For a woman that is 90 years old to birth a son was in her understanding an impossibility so she laughed. But is anything too hard for the Lord? But it is God speaking to Abraham so he must know something we do not know. The messenger asked Abraham about his (Real) wife to see if he understood that his true wife was an integral part of his spiritual identity. THIS IS THE ONE who will bring forth the SON and HEIR, not 90 year Sarah the independent woman (SOUL) he can see on the outside of him. Then who is Sarah the woman on the outside? Abraham came to understand that Sarah was a visible manifestation of the SPIRIT WOMAN who is a part of the SPIRIT which is male and female in himself. (Meditate on this)

The child was conceived by the spirit in Abraham just as Jesus was birthed by the spirit in the Virgin Mary. who was betrothed to Joseph, but not married. Isaac was born as the messenger said, and he was the Covenant Son who is CHRIST. Matt 1:1 “The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.” God’s promise to Abraham was realized because now his SEED would be as the STARS OF HEAVEN. For in that Christ is all of mankind. When the truth is understood then marriage is not the two becoming ONE FLESH any more but he that is joined to the LORD IS ONE SPIRIT. Only then will the Soul be restored to its rightful place as part of the SPIRIT that is M-A-N.

May the spirit give you enlightenment and spiritual understanding of these things that are the eternal realities of our life in Christ. Be wonderfully blessed in the Lord as you hear that still small voice of the Father from within, for your body is the dwelling place of God.

We have discussed in past writings the fact that mankind was created spirit and is the offspring of God, who is spirit. We are reminded that in Him we live, and in Him we move, and in Him we have our being, for we are His offspring. The ‘Him’ referred to here is God, as that is our true origin. But perhaps more applicable to our daily life is the fact that we came out of that first and only man that God created in the beginning, Christ Jesus. Paul reminds us in Ephesians 2:10 that we were created in Christ Jesus, the first and only man God created. He was therefore a corporate man, for in Him all of mankind was created to be the offspring of God just as He is.

But in Genesis 1:28, that first man was required to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. Christ Jesus was faithful and did what His Father told Him to do. This is recorded for us in Genesis 2:7 where the first earth man – Adam’s body was formed.

This assignment was passed on to all mankind, as God never created another man. So, for the earth to be filled with the offspring of God, all of mankind was required to be fruitful and multiply and to fill the earth. Adam’s birthing did not involve an egg and a sperm; it was a spiritual reproduction out of that first man as God intended. Adam received the breath of God as his life. This life functioned through that body made from the dust which came out of God, just as everything in creation did, for there was nothing there before creation. In that body Adam walked and talked with God in unity and oneness, for God dwelt in him.

To those of you who are reading this word, please consider each sentence carefully, as we are speaking about spiritual issues that are not familiar to our natural way of thinking. In this reproduction of this first man who is Christ Jesus, the process began with the forming of the body which He himself would have at a future time on the earth at Bethlehem.

Wherefore when He cometh into the world, He saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me. (Hebrews 10:5)

This formation of a body was accomplished through a virgin called Mary: Christ Jesus began life as a baby, whereas Adam was a fully formed man. When this was completed, there was the form of a man as we understand him to exist today. It lies there on the earth absolutely complete but it has no life, and therefore it cannot move or function. This is very important for us to understand, because we are learning something about how we are made. The body is not you; it is simply the house that you live in, because you are spirit and that spirit is God. And this is true for all mankind.

We are told how life was transmitted to this body, as there was no blood transfusion administered. In Genesis 2:7 we read, And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

The life that the first man Christ Jesus received was spirit – direct from God. And now this earth man received that same spirit life as the breath of God was breathed into his nostrils. So it was the same life that Christ Jesus received from God that was transmitted as the “breath of God” through the nostrils of the man. This is followed by the statement that Adam became a living soul.

Adam the man, and the body made from the dust, were two separate entities. The body was not Adam, for the body was only the house in which the spirit which was Adam would live. Remember that Adam walked with God in perfect harmony and oneness every day, for the spirit in him was that same spirit that was in Christ Jesus. You may be surprised to know that Paul said in Romans 8:11, “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you.

We are observing the will and purposes of God being established in the man Adam who was being prepared for his role on the earth. You will notice that this man – the product of Christ Jesus – was a manifestation of Himself (Christ), who transmitted the life (spirit) he received from God to the body He had formed for this ‘earth man’ Adam in Genesis 2:1-3. Having a body did not change the man’s identity, nor did it affect the dominion given to him over all the works of God’s hands. These works included taking care of the Garden of Eden and the supply of living water for the whole earth.

It is important for us to see the Garden of Eden, not as some fantasy ‘Garden’ that existed in the distant past; we must see it as a present day spiritual reality, installed in all of mankind. This is a spiritual ‘place’ referred to in Psalm 91:1. He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

This is where peace and love reign supreme and where there is no lack of any kind, for everything we require is made available. But beyond all that, this ‘Garden’ is a place where your heavenly Father says, “I will meet you there any time of the day or night to fellowship together and share love.” In that ‘Garden’ you can never feel lonely, never feel sick, and never know lack for anything.

Finally, there is within your ‘Garden’ a fountain of living water sufficient to meet your needs and the needs of all mankind. It is ready to flow as a river to the ends of the earth to meet the needs of others. This is that ‘secret place’ within us today where we can hear the voice of God, and where we can walk with God anytime day or night.

We began this series of writings with the statement that God is a mystery. This mystery is very obvious in the events that we are now going to discuss. As we explore these things, let us be mindful of the words of the prophet Isaiah 55:8, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, Neither are your ways, my ways…… word shall not return unto me without producing the effect I desire, but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it will prosper in the thing that I have sent it to do.”

We are told that it was the Lord God who made the statement, “It is not good for the man Adam to be alone, so I will make a help meet for him.” Every adjustment made to Adam (the earth man) was to fit him to begin his existence in accordance with the established will and purpose of God, which was determined before creation had begun. There is nothing that was added as a requirement in order for Adam to adjust to unforeseen circumstances in his life. God’s plan for the ages was complete from the beginning, and everything in history is right on schedule. Having said all that, the truth is that God is sovereign in this universe, but His authority and control is completely unseen and unknown by mankind on this earth.

Adam was then put into a deep sleep in order to make a help meet for him. In our natural thinking, we would wonder why this was necessary. This man was spirit (which is male and female functioning as one); making him unique among all the creatures God had formed. But it becomes obvious that Adam was being prepared for his future role as the earth man. If he remained as he was, then he could walk with God forever in perfect harmony. But there would be no choices for him to make, and the love relationship God desired to have with His son would not be there.

For love to be genuine, it must be a personal, deliberate choice on the part of a person. It is for this reason that the Lord God decided to put Adam into a deep sleep while the Lord God made some adjustments to him. Up until this time, Adam was not required to make any choices except to obey God’s word and to be obedient.

This experience brought into the life of Adam a great change by introducing another creature made from the ‘rib’ that was taken out of him. To accomplish this, Adam’s spiritual perfection had to be masked but not actually altered. So he was put into a deep sleep which rendered him unconscious. Up to this point in his life, he had walked with God in perfect unity and oneness, and there was nothing that provided an alternative that would affect their relationship.

Had Adam remained in his state of spiritual perfection, his relationship with God would never have been any more than an involuntary activity, with no initiated response coming from Adam. With that being the case, Adam would never have known obedience to Father’s voice, and nor would God have known if Adam’s love was genuine. The ‘help meet,’ as the Hebrew word suggests, was to be a test to determine if Adam would still deliberately choose to fellowship with God or choose an alternative.

The scriptures say, “The Lord God took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh instead, and the rib which the Lord God had taken from the Man, made He a woman, and brought her to the man.” (Genesis 2:21-22)

When Adam saw her, this is what he said. “You are bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh, and you were taken out of me therefore I am calling you woman (Hebrew: ishshah) because you were taken out of me.” (Genesis 2:23)

If Adam had retained his true consciousness, he would have looked at that woman and said, “Who are you, and where did you come from?” But he did not, for he knew the woman was now part of his life. Man today in this world sees the woman as a separate entity on the earth, which means that most Christians believe that God created both a man and a woman, which is not true. But the result has been that man’s true identity has been lost by mankind believing the female part of the spirit of Adam was literally removed. Adam expressed his condition as being naked, for the female part of his spirit being was now on the outside and exposed for all to see.

The truth is that all of mankind has now become that ‘woman,’ who is the living soul. Everybody born on the earth since Adam has been birthed out of a woman. Therefore our identity is no longer seen as being the offspring of God, in His likeness and image – which would require that we see ourselves as originating out of God.

But the issue that concerns me is that the authority that was given to Adam in creation in Genesis 1:26 no longer functions in those who claim to be the sons of God, because they see themselves only as the offspring of the woman. This changed the whole scene for Adam, because now he is no longer what he previously believed himself to be, which is spirit, or male and female. The spirit cannot function unless the male and the female function together as one.

We are discussing Adam in the Garden of Eden, but mankind today faces exactly the same problem, and has the same response. Man now has the problem of two competing voices – both purporting to speak the truth. These two voices are the voice of the Holy Spirit that dwells within, and the voice of our intelligence, or the carnal or natural mind. This is the birth place of the confusion that is called Christianity in the world today. How can one intelligent man declare that God is love dwelling in all mankind who are His offspring according to Acts 17:26, while another equally intelligent man declares with authority that all men are sinners by birth and are going to hell unless they repent and receive Christ?

These two opinions are not similar in any respect and present God as two totally opposing characters. The answer is that these men are listening to two different voices. One is the voice of God that is spirit – male and female dwelling in man. The other man is listening to the voice that the woman listened to in the Garden of Eden, which was not the voice of the spirit, but the voice of the serpent which is the carnal mind. This is the mind in which our intellect functions, the mind of our human intelligence. However, very few people today understand the basis of this confusion.

The woman from the Garden of Eden is the living soul which consists of the mind, the emotions and the will. The living soul also has control over the body, which is needed for reproduction. But being separated from the spirit man, her natural or carnal mind was easily deceived and has remained under the spell of the serpent. This polluted mind is now the cause of religious confusion that is in the world today. But it is also responsible for all sickness, pain and suffering and death.

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. (Romans 8:5)

How can we describe the woman from God’s point of view? Can we define the woman and her purpose in the will of God who appears on the earth? My answer is “Yes.”

First of all, let us describe this woman as God sees her today. God sees her as created spirit, which is male and female exactly the same as the man. The difference is only in the body, which was never created but was formed by the Lord God. Psalm 139 tells us plainly that God brought the parts of our body together when there was nothing there.

As for the purpose of the woman, she is the test that determines if a man truly loves God. Is the man listening for God’s voice – the voice of the spirit which is God within and which is male and female? Will the man obey implicitly what he hears, thus feeling totally fulfilled within himself? The entry of the woman into the Garden of Eden changed everything. However, we need to remember that the woman was an integral part of Adam who was created spirit in which the male and the female were absolutely equal, with no separate agenda for each. Together they were the true expression of the man.

In the appearing of the woman we need to recognize that we are not simply seeing a being separate from Adam; she represents an aspect of Adam himself. We are observing a different aspect of Adam that expresses himself quite differently to God, especially in terms of love. But now, without the connection of the male and female aspect, spirit has been disrupted and can be easily led in different directions.

While Adam functioned as spirit, the balance between the male and the female manifested the nature and character of God. Neither the male nor the female were dominant, but the two together produced a beautiful harmony of expression. History is littered with the fights and struggles between the males and the females in this world, each reaching for dominance.

But here in the Garden of Eden, we are to discover a truth that has been overlooked. What happened in Genesis 2:21-22 is not literal, for it is an allegory. This is the key that unlocks the truth for us. We may judge Adam for falsely assuming that the woman he saw was an integral part of himself and so accepted her as his help meet. Then, when she was deceived by the serpent and ate the fruit God told them not to eat, Adam joined her, but not in disobedience. We need to know that Adam was Christ, and so he knew deep within himself that everything that took place in the Garden was part of a complete plan to see all men bowing the knee to God and confessing Jesus Christ as Lord.

The truth about the woman being taken out of him to have her own identity may have been hidden from his eyes for that time, but he could still hear the voice of God, and still responded to that voice in the garden. This signifies that the male and female spirit was still functioning together in Adam. But the deep sleep that had been put on Adam has thrown a veil over the mind of mankind. It was a part of the fitting of Adam for his role on the earth outside the Garden of Eden. Notice that God did not address the woman when Adam hid from the Lord. He only dealt with Adam for they were one.

Most people reading the account in Genesis of the Garden experience of Adam automatically assume that the woman we see in this world today is an entity separate from the man. Even to this day Christians have assumed that what happened in the Garden of Eden was literal. And so since that time, we believe God somehow created the woman who is different from the man. If this is so, then Adam is still in us, hiding from God; and mankind is blaming the woman for all our problems.

However it may shock many people to know that God never created a woman. Many Christians believe that Adam was ‘created’ in Genesis 2:7. But this is not true, because the word ‘create’ does not appear in this verse at all. It is the Hebrew word yatsar {yaw-tsar’}, meaning to form, fashion or frame. But in Genesis 1:27 we find the word ‘created’, which is the Hebrew word bara {baw-raw’}, meaning to create – but always with God as the subject.

There is only one man that God created, and that one man is Christ Jesus in Genesis 1:27, His only Son. But we know that this man was a corporate man, for in Him was all of mankind. Therefore, that spirit that is Christ Jesus must be in all of mankind. And whatever Christ is, must also be what mankind is. Such a statement is totally rejected by Babylon and the whole religious systems of the world. They believe instead that a man born into this world through a woman is a sinner and under condemnation from God because of what they call the ‘original sin.’

Because of this, the Gospel that has been preached all over the world declares that mankind is under divine condemnation. This Gospel demands that all must repent, confess their sin and receive Jesus Christ into our lives to be saved. The Gospel continues by declaring that there is an alternative to being saved  and going to heaven when you die. That is, God has prepared a place of eternal torment where all those who refuse to repent will be sent to be tortured forever and ever in hell.

After 2000 years of preaching this Gospel all over the world there are now more heathen than ever. Many Christians are turning to Islam, declaring the Gospel does not work for them. As a result, Islam is growing at a much faster rate than Christianity, even though Islam has been on the earth for a much shorter time than the Gospel. Beloved, it is time to become honest and admit that the Church has continued to divide the world, in spite of the fact that Paul teaches us that there is only one body. It is my conviction that those who represent Christ today need to take a long hard look at what we believe, and discover if what we believe has any true reality attached to it that we can demonstrate to others as proof that we have the truth.

Let me give you two examples from the scriptures. These were men who turned the tide of apostasy that existed in their day amongst the people who had wandered away from God: Elijah challenged the 450 Prophets of Baal, discrediting them – not by a religious discourse – but by a demonstration of the power of God, as opposed to the multiplicity of religious concepts which fail to find a true expression in the world. Elijah called down the fire of God instead of preaching on the power of God. The people needed to see a demonstration of this wonderful God with whom nothing is impossible. Elijah brought revival to Israel and destroyed the religion of Baal at that time.

And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, “Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word.” (1 Kings 18:36)

Then the fire of the Lord fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. (1 Kings 18:38)

The second example is Moses, who had just returned from 40 days in the presence of God on the top of the mountain, to find God’s people Israel worshiping a golden calf. He brought a challenge to Israel in their heathen worship: to declare openly if they were willing to stand against the tide of religious apostasy and stand for Christ.

Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, “Who is on the Lord’s side? Let him come unto me.” And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him. (Exodus 32:26)

For Moses had said, “Consecrate yourselves today to the Lord.” Moses was raised up of the Lord to become the deliverer of Israel from slavery in Egypt, and this is what is needed in the world today.

So we ask the question, where are the people like Elijah and Moses and many others who have spent time in the presence of God to hear His voice and do what He says, and who can function in the power of the Holy Spirit with divine authority? It is not better preachers that the world is looking for, but those who have touched the reality of the Christ dwelling within, who can demonstrate His reality, power and authority. What is needed is that the dominion that was given man in the beginning must be restored for the whole world to see. This is the reason why Jesus Christ declared, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” (John 14:12)

In Ephesians 1:17, That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling [the divine purpose for which Man was created], and what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints [heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ], And what is the exceeding greatness of His power [inherent] in us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, which He wrought [made to function and become evident] in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

For as He is, so are we in this world. And what it means is that…) He has put all things [including the head of the serpent] under the feet of the Christ [who is our true identity], and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church,

…The Ekklesia, the called out ones who are responsible for the establishment of the Kingdom constitution on the earth in this our day, and…Which is His body, [designed and equipped to express Christ, who is] the fullness of God that fills all in all. (Ephesians 1:17-23)

Please read the above slowly and allow the truth to be implanted deep within your consciousness, so that it may find its expression in our everyday life.

Man was created in the likeness and the image of God and given dominion over all the works of God’s hands. Yet, my own life many years ago as a Preacher barely showed any resemblance to the nature and character of God: I was fearful and afraid of many things. I could trace this condition back to the Garden of Eden. Adam, under the deep sleep that was put upon him in Genesis 2:21-22, looked at the woman and what he saw was ‘flesh and blood’. And he saw that she was apart of himself who now existed as a separate entity; therefore he was no longer complete in himself.

As he looked at the woman, his awareness of his own true identity was challenged, for he knew his own identity was out of Christ Jesus (Genesis 2:7). So what was he now to believe? This woman was not the product of the creative power of God as was the first man Christ Jesus. Paul declares in Ephesians 2:10 that all mankind was created in that one Son, and so all were also required to be fruitful, multiply and fill the earth with the God-kind of people.

I want to ask you, “Who is this woman, and where did she come from?” We are told that she was made from a rib taken from Adam; but we know that the only female that God created was part of the Spirit which is God, and also, so was the man He created in Genesis 1:26. God is spirit; therefore His offspring must also be spirit. This spirit is male and female functioning together as one.

But obviously it was the will and purpose of God that Adam should be tested – which is the meaning of the word help meet. Adam was totally sufficient within himself, as was God who according to James 1:18, of His own will God begat us – no help required from anyone else. The Lord God, who declared that it was not good for the man to be alone, is the man of Genesis 1:26.

Let us focus on those who know Christ and believe that He dwells in them. It is obvious that this is a hollow belief – as long as we recognize the woman on the outside walking around. We have discovered here the flaw in our religious concepts concerning spirit and spirituality. We cannot know Christ in reality while there is a woman walking on the outside. This does not fit the total concept of the man created in Genesis 1:26.

We must face the fact that God never created a woman. I confess to you readers today, that I was struck dumb when I began to see this duality that did not exist in the creation of man – a duality that did not exist even in the earth man Adam when he was formed in Genesis 2:7. In that form, Adam was still spirit – which is male and female functioning together as one walking in fellowship with God every day in unity and oneness. But once the woman appeared externally, Adam was afraid of God and hid himself. Could this be the reason why those who claim to be Christians do not enjoy the daily fellowship and communion with God on a daily basis?

Did not Paul declare that, “In God we live and move and have our being?” Yet, this does not match our true experience. Why do Christians get sick, but in most cases cannot find the Christ dwelling in us able to release us from the power of sickness? Why are Christians so infatuated with the many machines that are being built, using them to try and help us to overcome sickness, but the Christ within cannot help us? I am going to tell you the answer to all these questions as Father is revealing it to me.

We read in Genesis 2:21-22 that the Lord God caused a deep sleep to come upon Adam, so what was to take place would not be a part of his conscious knowledge. Adam was unconscious and had no part in what was happening here. He neither agreed to what was done to him nor did he disagree, but it was the decision of the Lord God.

I mentioned earlier that Adam was going through some adjustments that were designed to fit him for life on this earth. It would be very easy to challenge what the Lord God wanted to do, but the ways of God are past finding out (or are unchartable). I have had to seek the knowledge I needed from the Lord, and not from books or other sources. Many have never asked the Lord these questions; we have just accepted the situation as it exists.

What is recorded in Genesis 2:21-22 is not literal, and here are two reasons for saying this. The first is that spirit cannot be divided. God is spirit, and if spirit could be divided, then you could divide God, but that us impossible. Israel declared many times, “Our God is one Lord.” Then the second reason is that spirit has no gender. There is no such thing as a male spirit or a female spirit; there is only spirit, which is male and female functioning together as one.

It is on the sixth day of creation that we see the man, but he is pure spirit with no form or body. This man is Christ Jesus, who is pure spirit. The man Adam, who was to inhabit the earth, was yet to come. Remember that God only created one man in Genesis 1:26. Paul tells us in Ephesians 2:10 that all of mankind was created in that one man, and in Genesis 1:28 that man was told to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. If he failed to do this, then God’s plan for all mankind would be lost forever, as God never created another man.

So in Genesis 2:7 we find that man Christ Jesus forming a body from the dust of the earth. He knew that God required man to have a body, because that body was to be God’s temple or dwelling place – on the earth (1 Corinthians 6:19). However, when the body was complete, it had no life in it, so the Lord God Jehovah Elohim breathed into the nostrils of that earth man the same life he had received from God.

Christ brought forth a manifestation of Himself as God required Him. This was Adam who was put into the Garden of Eden to dress and keep it. This is not the first man, but the first earth man with a body made from the dust. The only difference between these two men is that Adam had a body and Christ had no body, but they were both the same spirit. The assignment given to Christ in Genesis 1:28 applies to every man, for every

man came out of Christ. “As He is so are we in this world.” If mankind fails to reproduce as God required, then the covenant God has made with Noah and Abraham will fail. The everlasting covenant was to Abraham and to his seed.

Paul tells us that Abraham’s seed is Christ. So the assignment given to man was not simply to have children as most Christians have done with an egg and a sperm. Man, being spirit which is male and female, has the capacity to bring forth out of himself, just as the first man Christ Jesus was able to bring forth the first earth man Adam in Genesis 2:7. About 4000 years later, a virgin woman was able to bring forth the Christ man without the help of a man. It was a spiritual birthing which brought forth Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God.

All the promises of God have been given to Abraham’s seed, and not simply to us as mortal beings. The reason why Christians today cannot see those promises functioning in themselves is because they do not believe they are the seed of Abraham who is Christ.

And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Galatians 3:29)

But let me paraphrase this verse to make the truth clearer. And if Christ is your true reality, functioning in you and able to express Himself in and through you, then you are Abraham’s seed – which is Christ. (Galatians 3:29, paraphrased)

Many Christians have been taught that Christ dwells in us today, which is perfectly true. But that fact alone does not necessarily mean that Christ can express Himself through us as He did when He was on the earth. Why cannot the Christ in us keep us from being sick? Is the Christ in us today the same Christ that walked this earth 2000 years ago? Yes, because there is only one Christ. So to be Christ’s means that our body is His Holy Temple, and Christ is dwelling within, expressing Himself through that body just as he did 2000 years ago through the body of Jesus.

However, the Christ dwelling in His people today cannot be fully revealed because of our inability to understand the female part of our spirit, which is now separated. We consider that the female part of the spirit that is Christ is now walking around outside of us. But this is not so, because spirit cannot be separated, and the female part of our spirit is still in us.

It seems that we need to be constantly reminded that Genesis 2:21-22 is an allegory and not literal. Man has become a living soul, and this means that he is living and functioning through the soulish aspect of being, which is under the authority of the carnal mind, and not the spirit of God. We must know that we are spirit, and that spirit is male and female functioning together as one, and that spirit is Christ.

The proof of our separation is our lack of power and authority to function as the Christ in the world today. We tell the world of our great God who created us in His likeness and image and gave us dominion over all the work of His hands, yet we suffer from sickness and disease and have no power over these things. It is no wonder that the world is not impressed with out rhetoric and vain claims about being the sons of God. We claim that, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” but have no power to demonstrate what we claim. We have not learned to differentiate between the male and the female part of our spirit and their role in our life today.

Jesus was the one born of Mary the virgin, who was told that she would be pregnant and would give birth to a Son, and would call his name Jesus (Jehoshua = ‘Jehovah is salvation’). “He will be great and will be called the Son of the most high God.” The only Son God ever created was that first man in Genesis 1:26, who was spirit. Now, after several thousand years of human history, in which man had forgotten his true identity and where he came from, God’s original Son was born in Bethlehem. The birthing of Jesus – through a virgin without the help of a man is considered by the natural mind to be fantasy. The reason for this is because mankind has little or no concept of the function of spirit or spirituality.

It is recorded in Hebrews 10:5, Wherefore when He cometh into the world, He saith, “Sacrifice and offering Thou wouldest not, but a body hast Thou prepared me.”

That body was formed in the virgin’s womb, but the spirit that is Christ was never born, but was dropped into that little fetus by the Father at the appropriate time. There has been very little teaching on Spiritual Reproduction, so the majority of Christians are ignorant of that aspect of Spirit.

Once we understand that the Christ-spirit is male and female functioning together as one, the virgin birth of Jesus Christ is no longer a mystery. But until we understand that we all are spirit, and that it is an essential part of our responsibility to “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth with the God kind of people,” we will remain ignorant of the truth.

We have thought that to produce children by using an ‘egg and a sperm’ was what God wanted. But so many of those children followed the world and became involved in an ungodly life style, and never followed God. But in James 1:18, we are told, Of His own will [Needing no woman to help], God begat us, with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of the God kind of His creatures.

Adam, outside the Garden of Eden, brought forth his first child but only with the help of his wife Eve, and that child was a murderer. No Christian can guarantee his children will walk in the ways of God while we are dependent upon the woman to reproduce.

It is interesting to notice the different paths each took in the Garden of Eden. First of all, Adam gave the woman a name; he called her Eve, because she was the mother of all living, as she had the womb. But her name in the Hebrew language is ishshah, which literally means ‘man-ess’, or the female ‘man with the womb.’ It is interesting to note that as soon as the ‘woman’ was formed, she seemed to have no attraction either to Adam or to walking with God; she immediately set off on a course of her own and was met by a serpent. The entire conversation Eve had, concerned the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, which Adam was told not to eat of the fruit. God said, “The day you eat of the fruit you will die.”

In looking for a parallel in the life of Jesus Christ, I was drawn to the account in Luke 2 where the lad Jesus did not follow His mother but was ‘lost’ for three days. They eventually found Him in the temple, sitting among the teachers, both listening and asking questions, and the people were amazed at His intelligence and understanding.

His mother said to him, “Child, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been looking for you distressed and tormented.” But He replied, “How is it that you had to look (search) for me? Did you not know and understand that it is essential for me to be in my Father’s house, and being occupied about my Father’s business?” (Luke 2:48, 49)

But the scriptures declare that His parents did not understand who He was, or his true spiritual responsibility. Many Christians could not get ‘lost’ in this world, for so many are living as a part of it, having never understood the truth that we are created spirit from another world; therefore we are not a part of this material world. Paul declared in Acts 17:28, For in Him, (Elohim) we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also His offspring.

To be the offspring of God, we must be spirit – the same as He is and originating out of Him. To fit us to live in this material world, He formed a body for us out of the dust of the earth, which also came out of God.

Everyone is responsible to birth the Christ – but not physically. The Christ that we must birth first is our own true identity, so that we can live and function as the Christ in whom we were created in the beginning. Only then will we also regain our dominion over all the works of God’s hands given to us in creation. Until we actually birth the Christ within ourselves, we will remain as a ‘living soul,’ instead of being able to open the waters of the Red Sea to release Israel from the power and might of the whole Egyptian Army. We are born as kings but most live as paupers, and are subject to sickness, pain, suffering and death.

First of all, restoration of the soul takes place by understanding what happened to Adam in the Garden of Eden, which has also affected us in exactly the same way. We must grasp the truth about the woman before we can see our soul restored to her rightful place. Fact number one is that God never created a woman. I have read the Bible through many times over the years, and nowhere have I seen where God created a woman. In creation we are told God said, “Let us make man,” not a man and a woman. Notice that there was no reason for God to create a woman because the man was created spirit, which is male and female functioning as one. So there is no reason at all for God to ever create a woman as a separate entity.

Spirit has no gender, because there is no such thing as a male spirit or a female spirit; there is only spirit, which is male and female functioning as one. Please understand; we are speaking about spirit, and this has nothing to do with anything physical or material. From Genesis 1:1, there was nothing physical or material in the creation of the heavens and the Earth until the word – or the first man who was Christ Jesus – made or gave form to everything that God had created in the spirit, including the man in Genesis 2:7.

All things were made and came into visibility through Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made. (John 1:3)

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear, or are material. (Hebrews 11:3)

These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens. (Genesis 2:4)

Most Christians have not discovered why the Lord God said that it was not good for the man to be alone, in the context of the Father’s will. The separation of the male and the female was to allow the man to prove his obedience to the Father’s voice, by providing an alternative attraction by which he could make personal choices to prove his love for God. However Adam failed the test, as God declared the future for both the man and the woman. God said, Unto the woman He said, “I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception [by an egg and a sperm]; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children [because they may not fulfill your expectations]; and your desire shall be to your husband, and he shall rule over you.” (Genesis 3:16)

Please understand that all of mankind became that woman, not just the woman on the earth today. In the affairs of man on this earth today it is the living soul that is leading the nations – hence the wars and the crime and the inequality we see on every hand.

To the man God said, “Because you listened to the voice of your wife (instead of My voice) and have eaten of the tree, which I commanded you saying, ‘You shall not eat of it,’ cursed is the ground for your sake, in sorrow shall you eat of it all the days of your life. Thorns and thistles shall it bring forth unto you and you shall eat the herb of the field. In the sweat of your brow shall you eat bread, until you return unto the ground for out of it you were taken, for you are dust and to dust you shall return.” (Genesis 3:19)

But in the midst of all their failure, we find God declaring the ultimate redemption of all mankind in verse 14: And the Lord God said unto the serpent, “Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”

Christ, who is the seed of the woman who had failed the test in the Garden, was to be the instrument in the hand of the Lord to destroy the serpent, thus setting the female free and returning her to her rightful position in glorious union as one with Christ.

Now let us explore how the will of God is brought to pass in our lives today. God is love, and so it is important that we learn to respond to Him in obedience based upon love. This is how it works: in a Christian family functioning in love, if the parents say to their children, “Now I would like you to take care of a few things, such as keep your bedroom tidy and help in some of the chores that need to be done around the house.” If those children have been raised in love they will say “Yes, we will do whatever you say.” That is true obedience and a response in love.

But if the children are like so many in Christian families today who refuse to do what the parents ask of them, then what is the alternative? The answer is law. So now the request to the children carries with it a penalty – that if the children do not submit to the will of the parents, then the children’s pocket money will be stopped, and their television rights will be taken away. So now, the children do what the parents ask, but is that obedience? No, that is not obedience; that is doing what they have to do because they do not want to pay the penalty. That is not obedience.

Beloved, it works exactly the same for us Christians. God wants us to obey His voice, because that is obedience. Jesus told us, “My sheep hear my voice and they follow me.” But many are not interested in hearing His voice, but instead make decisions based upon verses in the Bible. And this is not obedience.

If a man is before the elders because he had fallen into adultery, other Christians proudly declare that they have never committed adultery, feeling a sense of pride. But how many had looked upon a woman with lust, without ever actually committing the act? (Matthew 5:28) Why did they refrain? Was it out of true obedience? No, because they believed that God would be angry with them if they did commit adultery, so they refrained because of the fear of judgment. That is not obedience.

We have another problem, and that is so many Christians believe that we do not need to hear the voice of God because we now have the Bible. This results in Christians trying to live by verses in the Bible – which again is not true obedience, for we interpret scripture with our intellect – which is the natural mind that is an enemy of God. It is God’s voice that must be obeyed. Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice and they follow me.”

However, so many Christians have never heard the voice of God, nor do they understand how it can be heard. God does not speak in the audio range because He is spirit. But, that spirit which is God dwells in every man, and is ‘hard wired’ into every cell of our body. The spirit is the only source of life that our body has. So, for every cell to live, it must be connected to that spirit. Every blood cell and nerve cell, brain cell and heart cell is directly connected to the spirit in you. Therefore it is no problem for us to receive information from the Christ dwelling in us. It is not a human voice; it is a ‘knowing’ that is transmitted to our understanding by which we can ‘hear’ what God is saying, and we can also respond to Him without using words.

The prophets had no problem hearing what God was saying to them. Abraham’s life journey began when he was a heathen man worshiping Molock, but one day he heard a voice. How could God speak to a heathen man, when most Christians say they have not heard God’s voice? The answer is because Christ, who is God, dwells in every man – even the heathen. Abraham never had a map, but his life’s journey was made known to him from within.

This is what the Christ wants to do for everyone, if we only knew it. The Apostle Paul obviously had revelation of the issues that are raised in this study, and so he makes an amazing statement in Galatians 3:27: For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

So Paul understood that the whole concept of male and female would be brought to an end by being baptized into Christ – which would eliminate the whole male/female issue, restoring both the male and the female to their original oneness in creation. When we mention baptism, most people think in terms of water baptism, but this was only a ‘type’, and the very first step along the pathway of redemption before the Cross. It was introduced by John the Baptist in the Jordan River for the people of that time.

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Ephesians 4:4)

Paul leaves no doubt that there is only one baptism that is the reality of what all the other baptisms represent. In our human experience, we needed someone to administer baptism for us to experience its benefits. This is so in water baptism, and usually in the baptism in the Holy Spirit, as we have progressed in our relationship with God. However, as we look at Acts 2:1 we read, And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. (Acts 2:1-4)

So the first thing we notice is that this ‘baptism’ was not at the request of the people and follows no human consent as to when it should take place, nor as to how it is to be administered. It is recorded that it simply took place when certain conditions prevailed among the sons of God. So the day of Pentecost is not a date on the calendar for us, but a spiritual condition within the family of God when the saints were all in one accord in one place. They all functioned out of the same mind which was the mind of Christ – unified in their will, desires and their purpose.

Only the spirit of God can so bring a people together in such a way, as today most Christians all have their own opinion about most things, ever as to the character of God. Beloved, if this is the required condition for this life-changing experience to occur, then God’s people have a lot to do to see the ‘flesh’ dethroned and Christ exalted, expressing Himself through a single mind.

We are told they ‘heard something,’ and to them it was a sound from the spirit realm which we call heaven, like a rushing mighty wind (Spirit). Paul heard it in 1Corinthians 15:52, but he heard it as a trumpet sound, which is a symbol of the voice of God. Next, they saw something, so this was the second spiritual faculty to be opened in this people – their spiritual eyes. What they saw was ‘cloven tongues like as of fire,’ that sat upon each of them, symbolizing the purifying fire of God that produced true holiness.

The wind represents the voice of God that filled all the house of God – referring to our body. Every cell in our body must hear that voice and when they do, they will then respond to Christ, the King, and function in obedience to Him. The ‘cloven tongues of fire’ speaks of the Word (Christ) dividing asunder between the soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, representing the spiritual – the soul and spirit; and the physical – the joints and the marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (Hebrews 4:12). This experience allowed the people to be filled with the Holy Spirit, which replaced their whole intellectual knowledge with that of the Spirit.

There was no man to administer this transforming experience; the whole experience was orchestrated by the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost, which for Israel was 50 days after the resurrection of Christ, to which it is purposely linked. It speaks to us of that new creation life which found expression in the resurrected Christ, and which is made available to us ever since – exceeding all the limitations of the mortal life that Christians have falsely called the Christian life.

Most Christians do not believe they have eternal life right now, being convinced that they must die physically to get rid of their body of dust, and go to a place called ‘heaven’ after they die. And then God will give them a new heavenly body in which they can live forever. So Pentecost is not really an issue for so many today.

Jesus Christ did not die to go to heaven to get another body, for the change took place right here on the earth when he walked out of the tomb. Neither do we need to mark a specific date on the calendar, as the Day of Pentecost has nothing to do with our calendar. The Holy Spirit knows the ‘thoughts and intents’ of the heart; so that when we meet his requirements which are described for us clearly in Acts 2:1-4 Pentecost will be fulfilled in us. It can only come when God’s people are in one accord, and in one place.

Where would we go today to see 120 Christians in one accord in one place? Most Christians have established their own belief system, with the help of the multitude of Church groupings, each one believing they are right and others are wrong. But the sad fact is that Jesus said, “The things that I do you can do also, because I go to the Father,” and such a promise has hardly ever been fulfilled through God’s people today. Sickness and disease, adverse circumstances like poverty, failed marriages, rebellious children, and a host of other issues plague the lives of so many who claim to be Christians in the world today. Division and strife so often separate those who claim to be the Sons of God.

So often, when a voice is heard that strikes a chord within us to which the spirit within responds, there is a negative reaction from many of God’s people. Can such a situation arise among Christians today, where they can come together in one accord and in one place? I am certain that this is God’s will and purpose, for the scriptures have declared it to be so. The purpose of this book is to encourage those who desire to see all the promises of God fulfilled in a people walking on this earth in this our day.

It is time, Beloved, that we set our hearts to, “love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might and thy neighbor as thyself.” Surely a child would respond to the voice of its father, but so many Christians have never heard Father’s voice and do not even consider that to be important. The unity of the spirit can only be accomplished as each one of us listens to the same voice of God – and not just a preacher – and then become obedient to what He says.

The God who created all things and holds all things together by the word of His power, has a plan for every life on this earth. If we could understand this and choose to listen to His voice, it would save us from making foolish decisions, because He can see the tomorrows and the future which is hidden from mortal man. But we believe that we are smart enough to muddle our way through life with out any help from God.

God said to Adam, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.” Surely I am not the only one who has asked the question, “Why is it that so many Christians today have no power over their own families, or over sickness, or over poverty or a host of other things, and in reality have become enslaved by habits and passions, struggling sometimes even in their marriages?

Did God mean what He said to that first man in creation to have dominion over all the works of God’s hands, and to subdue the earth? Beloved, it is time to seek the face of God and discover why so little that God has promised to us, is actually part of the reality of our lives today.

The world is waiting not for better preachers, but for those who can demonstrate the life that God has purposed for us to live today as an expression of the Christ of our true identity. This requires us to believe God and forsake the religious lies that have kept us as slaves to the false concepts concerning who we are and how God intends for us to live. This new life begins when we become obedient to the voice of the Christ dwelling within us today.

I want you to know that what Father is revealing in this study has had a very real impact upon my own life; it highlights the truths that we have missed along the way, making clear what I need to do to possess the life that Father has made available to all of us, so that we can become the true Body of Christ on the earth in this our day.
