We must never forget the simplicity of the Good News of the Gospel. We should shout this truth to everyone we meet. We have all of the resources available to us to become a son of God and receive our inheritance already prepared for us in the heavens, because Jesus Christ, the living word, made them available to us. Jesus Christ made it possible for us to become sons of God, joint heirs with Him. We have access to our Heavenly Father through His living indwelling word. This is only possible only as much as we believe in Him.
John 1:10-14 Jesus Christ is the only way, the truth, and the light and no man can come into the presence of the Father except through Him. He even made it possible for us to know by what is produced in our life whether we are on the right track or not. Salvation really is fairly simple, either we have made Him Lord over our life or we have not. If Jesus is Lord over our life, then He is our savior and are a part of His kingdom, and if Jesus is not Lord over our life, He cannot be our Lord or savior because we won’t let Him in and we are not part of His kingdom.
Rom 8:11-19, But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken (make alive) your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if you live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if you through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, you shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waits for the manifestation of the sons of God.
“By their fruits you shall know them” – this is what Jesus said of those who were the true sons of God.
Gal 5:16-26, This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lust against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that you cannot do the things that you would. But if you be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are visible, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.”
