DECEMBER 26, 2001

I pray that you are ready to see your life in a new light in 2002. “For it is God who is at work within you, willing and working his own good pleasure.” (Philippians 2:13)  Just think about this wonderful word from the heart of the Father to you.  What is his good pleasure? That we be so in tune to his heart we will be the happiest people on the earth in 2002 as see who we are in him and see that we are well pleasing to him.

“For I do always the things that are pleasing to him.”  (John 8:29)  As we accept the work that has been done for us at Calvary and fully realize that nothing was left undone on our behalf and that we are complete in him, then we see that we are pleasing to the Father.  Because of his blood we are pure and clean before almighty God.

When Ruby and I were preparing to go to Israel this past year the Lord spoke to us one morning and reminded us that we did not have a message for Israel, but that we ourselves were the message.  We were being sent as Jesus folks and as we went we would be blessing it, and illuminating it with the life of Christ. 

“And God is able to make all grace abound unto you; that we, having always all sufficiency in everything, may abound unto every good work.”  (2 Corinthians 9:8)  He is our sufficiency and ability and strength.  He truly is our all and all.  Paul reminds us that we move and have our being in him.

The Lord is working in us that we come to the full realization of who is in us so that we develop a superiority complex over the flesh, the world, and the devil.  We take on the mind of Christ and know that we are more than conquerors because the captain of the host of the army of God resides inside of us.  “You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, (the flesh, the world and the devil) because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”  (1 John 4:4) This is shouting ground.

The one who raised Jesus from the dead is working in you.  It is the resurrection power of our God that is inside of us.  Listen to these words from the heart of the father.  “I want you to know what the exceeding greatness of the ability of God is on our behalf who believe.  That ability is according to the strength of his might, which he wrought in Christ when he raised him from the dead.”  (Ephesians 1:19-23)

This is part of the prayer that Paul was praying for the saints at Ephesus and wherever you are today.  I believe if you walked up to Paul today in glory and asked him what he was doing he would tell you that he had joined his heart to His master and was interceding for the saints.  This is what his present day ministry would be.  Praying for us that we would receive a revelation of who we are here on the earth.


You put the above passage of Ephesians 1 with this passage in Ephesians 3 which was another prayer that Paul was praying and we feel the heart of the Father reaching out to us to come on up higher. “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus though out all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20-21)


What are you asking for in 2002 from the Father?  What are you imagining that you don¹t even dare to ask for?  Just remember that the God of abundant living is inside of you to do it.  You are a part of God¹s dream and plans for 2002.  Purpose to join your heart with His for an unbelievable year.


The Lord does not want you to make any new years resolutions.  All He wants from you is an attitude of simply saying yes to all of his plans. “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ.  And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.”  (2 Corinthians 1:20)  Just get ready to say yes to the King of Glory as he reveals his plans in your heart.
