Questions that coursed through the heart of David have certainly been answered adversely by many in this day. But from the Word itself we find the Spirit speaking positive answers providing a solid foundation for faith. “Thus saith the Lord; if heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done,” (Jer. 31:37) “God hath not cast away His people which He foreknew…for if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead,” (Rom. 11:2, 15)

“WILL THE LORD BE FAVORABLE NO MORE?” “For the Lord taketh pleasure in His people: He will beautify the meek with salvation,” (Ps. 149:4) “Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come,” (Ps. 102:13)

“IS HIS MERCY (LOVING KINDNESS) CLEAN GONE (CEASED) FOREVER??” “The mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting,” (Ps. 103:17) “O give thanks unto the Lord; for He is good: for His mercy endureth forever,” (I Chronicles 16:34)

“DOTH HIS PROMISE FAIL FOR EVER MORE?” “GOD IS NOT A MAN THAT He should lie, neither son of man that he should repent. Hath He said, and shall He not do it? Hath He spoken shall He not make it good?” (Num. 23:19) “Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand,” (Isa.14:24)

“HATH GOD FORGOTTEN TO BE GRACIOUS?” “O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of Me. I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto Me; for I have redeemed thee,” (Isa. 44:22)

“HATH HE IN ANGER SHUT UP HIS TENDER MERCIES?” “He will not always chide: neither will He keep His anger forever. He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.” (Ps. 103:9-10)
