1 John 4:3 (KJV) 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. (See verse 13-15)

2 John 1:7 (KJV) 7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh.. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Many carnal teachings have promoted the coming of an antichrist.  That he will rule over men, causing them to take the “mark of the beast” and that mark being the number 666.  I believe the scriptures, but not always men’s interpretations of them.  You may disagree with my interpretation, but we shouldn’t disagree with the Spirit of God.  Let us seek God’s heart and ask that he’ll open our eyes and give us the witness of His Spirit.  Let’s look to see who or what the antichrist is according to scripture and not tradition.  The Spirit and the Word must agree or bare witness to each other.  Sometimes traditions stand in the way of truth, thereby making the word of God of no effect in our lives. (Mark 7:13)

Notice in both of these verses, (1 John 4:3 and 2 John 1:7) it says that Jesus is come in the flesh. It doesn’t say that Jesus had come or will come, but is come in flesh.  To deny this fact is the spirit of antichrist and a deceiver. (Rom. 8:7-12, Eph. 2:13, 18, 22, 5:30, 2 Pet. 1:4, Heb. 10:19-20,)  In previous studies, we’ve seen that this word flesh has to do with the nature.  Strip away the surface (skin) and you’ll expose what really motivates an individual. The light of God’s fire has come to expose and consume the hidden man of sin.  He has come to give us the hope of glory instead of shame. (Col. 1:27)

1 John 2:20-23 (KJV)

20 But ye have G2192 (To hold as possession) an unction G5545 (chrisma/an unguent or smearing, endowment) from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ G5547? He is antichrist, that deniethG720 the Father and the Son. (John 14:23)

23 Whosoever deniethG720 the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

G5547 Christos

From G5548; anointed, that is, the Messiah, an epithet of Jesus:—Christ.

G5548 chrio

Probably akin to G5530 through the idea of contact; to smear or rub with oil,
that is, (by implication) to consecrate to an office or religious service:—anoint.

G720 arneomai

From (G1-Union) (as a negative particle) and the middle of G4483; to

contradict, that is, disavow, reject, abnegate:-deny, refuse.

G4483;(through the idea of pouring forth); to utter, that is, speak or say

Verse 20 states that we hold in our possession an anointing from God.  We’ve been smeared or rubbed with the Holy Spirit.  The anointing is your evidence that you have both the Father and the Son in you.  This is the coming that Jesus was talking about in John 14.  To deny this most glorious truth is to deny the Father and the Son and this is the spirit of antichrist.  This truth has been hidden from view by the traditions of men.  Even as God instructed Jesus to conceal the truth by parables, He still hides the truth from those that have their hearts turned from Him.  Some have known the truth, but because of the fear of being rejected by men, they are denying the Father and the Son.  Can this be?  A further study of such an important truth is needed.

John 14:2 (KJV) In my Father’s house are many mansionsG3438: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

John 14:23 (KJV) Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abodeG3438 with him.

G3438 mone

From G\3306; a staying, that is, residence (the act or the place):-abode, mansion.

In these two verses, we see that mansion in verse two and abode in verse 23 are translated from the same word.  This word (mone) was only used these two times in all the New Testament.  This fact holds great significance.  He went to prepare a place for you in Him by coming to dwell in you.  He dwells in you in order to bring you into His spiritual dwelling places.  Hebrews 3:6-19 speaks about natural Israel not entering into His rest (reposing down, abode) because of an evil heart of unbelief.” In St. John 14:3 “… that where I am, there ye may be also.”  This saying has invoked many imaginations in the heart of believers.  Some see natural locations of big houses surrounded by broad meadows, while others see thrones and dominions – but only the Spirit of truth will lead us to the right understanding.  If seen through the eyes of the Spirit we’ll see its location.  Further in the chapter we’re given the answer.  11Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me:..”  Jesus is the way to Father.  Jesus has longed to have a people abiding in the same relationship that He has with Father.  Many just want the houses, meadows, thrones, and dominions without submitting to the righteousness of God (Rom. 10:3). The commandments of God are burdensome to them.  They are only a burden if they’re not written in your heart.  If you love Him, you’ll obey His commandments and they’ll not be grievous.

1 John 2:24-29

24 Let that therefore abideG3306 in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remainG3306 in you, ye also shall continueG3306 in the Son, and in the Father.

G3306 meno

A primary verb; to stay (in a given place, state, relation or expectancy):-

abide, continue, dwell, endure, be present, remain, stand, tarry (for), X thine own.

A phrase of a hymn comes to my mind “I shall not be moved”.  How often does ground pass back and forth in battle until finally someone refuses to be driven back.  A look back in history shows people refusing to be moved from their position, their bus seat, their land, their convictions, their faith, their hope, and their love.  How often, unbeknown to us, does the enemy move us out of position, distracting (seducing) us from God’s mission in our lives?  The most important thing is to first get into the right position.  If we say that we’re in the light, then we’ll be in agreement with the Father, the Word, and the Spirit.  You are not abiding in the unity of the Spirit if you’re in disagreement with it.

25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduceG4105 you.

G4105 planao From G4106; to (properly cause to) roam (from safety, truth, or virtue)

G4106 plane From G4108; fraudulence

G4108 planos; roving (as a tramp), an impostor or misleader

27 But the anointingG5545(chrisma/an unguent or smearing, endowment)  which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointingG5545 teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appearG5319(to render apparent), we may have confidence, and not be ashamedG153(disfigurement, disgrace) before him at his comingG3952(Presence).

29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

G153 (disfigurement, that is, disgrace); to feel shame (for oneself)

It isn’t important enough that He is in you, but our abiding in Him is what we’ve been apprehended for. How can light and darkness dwell together?  In the beginning God separated the light from the darkness.  He is the light and in Him is no darkness (1John1:5).  He isn’t reconciling Himself to my darkness, but rather dispelling the hidden darkness by His light.  In order to abide in Him the darkness in me will not be able to enter into His abode.  It is when I chose to walk in darkness that I find that I’m not abiding in Him.  That which is born of Him is of the light and only desires the light.  If something desires darkness, then that is of darkness and that is the seed of the evil one.  Let us take that seed to the cross.  Why do you think He told you to take up your cross daily!  The cross has but one purpose. When people want to include everything together that speaks to me that some are wearing fig leaves and want to hide among the trees of righteousness.  Let us confess our sins instead of hiding them or getting others to agree with them.

1 John 5

1  Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him. 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. 4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world-our faith. 5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

6 This is He who came by water and blood-Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears(G3140), witness(G3140-to be a witness), because the Spirit is truth. 7 For there are three that bear(G3140), witness(G3140-to be a witness),  in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. 8 And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one. 9 If we receive the witness (3141-evidence) of men, the witness (G3141-evidence) of God is greater; for this is the witness (G3141-evidence) of God which He has testified (G3140-to be a witness), of His Son. 10 He who believes in the Son of God has the witness (G3141-evidence) in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony (G3141-evidence) that God has given of His Son. 11 And this is the testimony (G3141-evidence): that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life and that you may continue to believe in the name (3686-authority, character) of the Son of God..18 We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. 19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one. 20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. 21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

When we come into a right covenant with Father, through the blood of His Son, how will we know that Father has crossed the threshold into our house?  We’ll have the evidence of the Father and the Son in the house.  And what is that evidence?

In verse 10 it is he who believes in the Son who has the evidence in himself.  Do you believe the evidence of His Spirit?  His Spirit is baring witness of who is in you, which are the Father and the Son.  You needn’t look elsewhere.  They’re appearing in you. (Col. 1:27, Rom. 8:18, Gal. 1:16, 2 Th. 1:10)  Thought the world “seeth Him no more” we see Him and have the evidence of where He and Father are. (John 14:19-23)  How we respond to Him, will determine how He manifests or discloses Himself to and through us.  Are you obeying His commandments?

Proverbs 3:6 (KJV) 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Psalm 105:19 (KJV) Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him.

What begins to take place when God speaks a word to us? Our heavens begin to tremble and our earth begins to shake.  Thunderings and streaks of lightning pass across our heavens. Fearfulness and a deep quaking shatter our tranquillity and orderly arrangements.  God has spoken and we’ll never be the same. Faith and doubt begin to war with one another.  Will I believe God or will I turn away (be seduced) from His word?  One will produce fruit and the other shame.  Any excuse to side step this process will only serve to rob you.  An old Ozark Mountain Preacher in Arkansas has a saying that has been a favorite of mine: “An excuse is the skin of reason stuffed with a lie.”

Joel 2:11 (KJV) And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

Will I believe my natural eyes because they can’t see the truth?  Or will I believe God and begin to see through the eyes of His Spirit?  In His day the natural sun turns to darkness.  His light now shines upon His path for me.  Will I follow?  Such is the WAY that leads unto LIFE.  The word is judging us, will I believe to the end and that end being the manifestation of the word spoken?  The WORD will expose everything that isn’t in agreement with HIM.

Many today seem to think their walk is acceptable in the sight of God.  After all, His blood covers their sins.  They’ve been forgiven of their sins by His grace and yet they still walk as they once walked with very little change to their nature. We declare that we are God’s offspring: the Sons of God.  Dear one, it is the seed of the world that has to declare itself.  This is because God isn’t testifying of them.  The Almighty Himself announces His Sons and bares witness by His Spirit.  If you are His, He will bare witness even as He bore witness of the first Son.  I heard a prophetic word given to a congregation last fall.  Part of what was said is this; “I don’t need you to speak for me I can speak for myself.”  Many are trying to bare witness as to who they are, but the Father and the Spirit of truth bare witness to the Word – for they three are one.  The Spirit isn’t baring witness of you, but to whom is in you, the WORD Jesus.  If the Son is abiding in you and you are abiding in the Son, then the Spirit of truth and the Father will bare witness to His abiding presence. (John 14:9-14, 15:1-10))

John 1:32-34 (KJV) 32 And John bare recordG3140, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abodeG3306 upon him. 33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remainingG3306 on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. 34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

Matthew 3:17 (KJV) And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. (Matt.17:5, 2 Pe.1:17-19)

It is the one where the Spirit of truth is remaining in him (1 John 2:24-29) and he doesn’t go out of the temple anymore (Rev. 3:12).  He doesn’t sneak out in the night to mingle with the common things of the world.  He remains in the house until morning. (Exodus 12:22)  He gets into the Ark (Christ) and God shuts Him in.  His seed isn’t common, but is of the Holy One.  We are to present our bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God. (Rom. 12:1) We can make excuses as to what is acceptable. But notice dear one, God determines what is acceptable and bares witness. Notice below in the definitions, the word common means everything is mixed together.   People want to include everything together and say they are one. (Malachi 1:13) When we came to Him we were anything but clean.  Yet, through His handy work He is creating us anew.  Our offerings to the Lord are not to be defiled, so says the Word, “… and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.” (James 1:27).  We are to be a separated people that are holy and undefiled (Heb. 7:26). His Spirit bares record in me that this is true.  What is the Spirit saying in you?  Are you denying His witness?  We come to Him and He cleanses us from all unrighteousness so that our offerings might be acceptable in His sight. (Mal. 3:3) He takes away our defilement and purifies our hearts.

Mark 7:15 (KJV)

15 There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defileG2840 the man.

1 6If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

17And when he was entered into the house from the people, his disciples asked him concerning the parable.

18And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;

19Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?

20And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.

21For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

22Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

23All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

G2840 koinoo From G2839; to make (or consider) profane (ceremonially):—call common,
defile, pollute, unclean.

G2839 koinos

Probably from G4862; common, that is, (literally) shared by all or several, or
(ceremonially) profane:—common, defiled, unclean, unholy.

G4862 sun A primary preposition denoting union; with or together (but much closer than
G3326 or G3844), that is, by association, companionship

God has had a people hidden away from the eyes of the King’s enemies, even as He hid Jesus, Moses, Joseph, and Jacob.  The King wanted them not to be raised up in grand palaces in plain view.  Their callings required the wisdom of a Great King.  He knew before the foundation of His grand work what each and every assignment would be.  They’ve been a predestinated people (Eph. 1:5).  Throughout His kingdom they’ve been hidden away and under going the best training from the vast resources of Father.  You may not know your assignment yet, but when you do, you’ll see the wisdom of an all seeing, all knowing, and an all-powerful King of Kings.  Regardless of the details of your assignment, every believer’s assignment is to be a witness of the TRUTH

Revelation 19:10 (KJV) And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony(G3141-evidence) of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony(G3141-evidence) of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Everything you’ve endured has been with the loving care of LOVE Himself.  Even your encounters with the evil one has been according to plan.  Now you know the ways of the enemy and his wiles.  All your humiliations, shamefacedness, defeats, weaknesses, failures, and rejections have been apart of your proving.  Wisdom teaches us not to trust in ourselves, but wisdom is to trust in our Father the King!  Wisdom is not found in the land of the living, but the baring of your cross.

God’s Prepared Ones are even now taking their places in the ranks of His First Fruits Company, even with those on the other side of the veil.  It will not be as it was in the day when Saul’s army stood across the valley from the Philistines, and only one stood in faith, while the rest of the army stood trembling and ashamed in unbelief.  There isn’t just one in the rank this time, but all are coming into the unity of the Faith and are seeing through the eyes of the Spirit.  They stand with one eye, one mind, and one heart. The offending members of the flesh have been plucked out and cut off.  In one accord with their Captain Christ Jesus do they abide and the evil one can’t touch them. (1 John 5:18)  They are men and women of valor and their hearts are in total devotion to their Captain.  They have overcome the lion: the roaring of the mind.  The bear rugs lie, as a trophy, on the floor of their houses (the bear being their wills).  Now only God’s will leads them.  Even as Joshua and Caleb looked at the giants in Canaan as grasshoppers, so they now turn their gaze upon the enemies that stand before them.  The strongman has been driven out of their homes.  It has been a long time since God has had a people of such devotion and never with all the splendor of His beauty upon and within them all.  Not a one will be out of rank or uniform.  The enemy has thought that it’ll be as before, their champion, the fleshly giant of the carnal man will be able to strike fear into their hearts and overcome these weak-minded Christians.  As the enemies of God begin to encounter this host, something will begin to strike terror in them.  Looking upon God’s First Fruits Company, in horror they’ll realize its beauty will reveal their shame and nakedness.  No strength will be left in them and all hope will flee in the face of certain defeat.  Surrounding this army is the light of God’s glory.  God’s voice thunders through the praises of its ranks as the earthquake rumbles from beneath their feet.  Each is equipped with the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of love, faith, and righteousness, their loins are girded with truth, and their feet are shod with the preparation of the gospel.   In their hands are the shield of faith and the sword of the word with the witness of God’s Spirit upon it.  The summoned armies of the kings of all the earth will stand trembling with fear, knowing that the kingdoms of the earth are about to become the kingdoms of our Lord and His Christ.  The flesh of men will be trodden down as the flesh was trodden down in each and every son.  They are all one, but not in self, but one with God.  It is His Spirit that moves this army.

Matthew 10:32-33 (KJV) 32Whosoever therefore shall confessG3670 covenant, acknowledge) me before men, him will I confessG3670 also before my Father which is in heaven. 33But whosoever shall denyG720 me before men, him will I also denyG720 before my Father which is in heaven. (Matt. 16:24, 26:34, Acts 4:16, Titus 1:16, Rev.3:8)

All of us have had our times of denying Him, but this isn’t the end of the matter.  Peter denied Jesus three times in one night.  Father allowed the evil one to test him.  Peter had to know who else was in his house, the imposter – the antichrist.  Is there someone in your house that still denies Him?  The son of perdition has to be exposed. (2 Th.2) Jesus knew this was a necessary part of Peter’s training.  Jesus didn’t come to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might have life.  Chastisements are a part of our proving.

Luke 22:32 (KJV) But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

Later Peter was asked three times, lovest thou Me, then feed My sheep.  He was being reconciled. On the day of Pentecost (Acts 2) Peter stood up, with the boldness of a lion, and didn’t deny the Son or the Father.  In turn, the Father gave witness by the evidence of the GLORY CLOUD, witnessing that His Son was seated with Him at the right hand of power and in this Mighty Messenger (angel), Peter.  Father was being glorified in the Son and the Son in the Father. (John 14:13)

Mark 14:62 (KJV) And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the cloudsG3507 of heaven. (Luke 21:27, Acts 1:9, 1 Cor. 10:1-2, Rev. 14:14)

G3507 nephele From G3509; properly cloudiness, that is, (concretely) a cloud:—cloud.

This word clouds was translated in the KJV 14 times cloud and 8 times clouds.  Israel always understood that the cloud was the glory of God.  When Jesus told the High Priest that He would be coming in the Cloud, he knew Jesus was saying that He would be coming in the Glory Cloud.  This is why the High Priest tore his clothes.  Fifty days later on the day of Pentecost this scripture was fulfilled.  Every since that time Jesus has been in The Cloud.  If the Glory Cloud is in you, then you have the Spirit of Truth baring witness that you not only have the Son, but also the Father.

He that loves Me is he that obeys My commandments.  Are you denying Him?  If you deny Him then He will deny you and you’ll not have the witness (evidence) of the Spirit.  It’ll not be obvious of His abiding presence in your life.  If we are ashamed of Him then He’ll be ashamed of us.

The language of the Holy Spirit doesn’t divide to bring disunity to the people of God, but rather unity.  When we have ears to hear His words we begin to live.  His living Word divides from out of us the death of the adamic nature. (Heb. 4:12)  If we try to hear through the mind of the flesh then we’ll not be able to hear His words. (Rom. 8)  The carnal mind can’t get past the mind of God (Cherubim) and therefore is unable to partake of the tree of life.  It is the condition of the heart that keeps us out of the hidden abode of God.  He is a God that hides Himself. (Isa. 8:17)  To the one that doesn’t turn his heart to God he’ll remain blind and deaf until he does.  Your mind isn’t what needs to first change, but it is the heart (2 Cor. 3:13-18).  God has from the beginning placed barriers and laws upon the unconverted heart.

Joel 2:12-13 (KJV) 12Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: 13And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

It isn’t until the heart turns that He pulls back the veil.  The word turn doesn’t mean a one-time deal.  It is a circular word.  Your heart turns over and over again.  How often in ones Christian walk do we hear Him calling?  John in Rev. heard the voice behind him, which required a turning.  When you hear His voice calling for you to turn around (repent-change your mind) and you do, that is when He reveals Himself and we’re changed from GLORY to GLORY into His image.  To those that hear His voice shall live.  (John 10:16, 27, Rev. 3:20) Are we hearing through the mind of reasoning or into the depths of our hearts?
