WITH OPEN FACE

“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
When Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in his hand, the skin of his face shone, insomuch that the people were afraid to come near him. So Moses put a veil on his face for a time, but whenever Moses went into the tabernacle to commune with God, he removed the veil while in the presence of God,
We desire that deep communion with God, a consciousness of His presence, to share the reality of the truth reserved for this very day. Therefore it is essential that we be stripped of all the veneer and masquerade of this world’s system that we might present ourselves before Him with open face.
When Moses came out of the tabernacle, for the people’s sake, he again put a veil over his face, not only because of the brightness of the reflected glory, but
When our face is unveiled, all doubts and fears removed, all worldly consciousness removed, we shall behold Him and be changed, from glory to glory, so that receiving from Him, we shall be able to reflect that glory to others – with the image becoming ever more clear, the better the out-shining of His nature to those around us.
